Steven and the Crystal Gems were warping to someplace for a mission.
"Pay attention, Steven. This is going to be your first serious mission. you need to be ready." said Garnet
"Yes. I'm ready. I'm so ready." said Steven who was upside down in the warp.
"Steven, come on. You're going to make yourself sick." said Pearl turning Steven around. As she did she got hit in the face by Steven's ukulele. "Why did you bring that?"
"I don't know. I was excited, and it's mine, and I like it." Steven said as the ukulele started to fly off his back.
"Well look out because it's flying away." said Spinel
"What!" Steven looked up and saw his ukulele. Steven started to move in a swimming motion to get it.
"Steven, get back here! You could get hurt" said Pearl in a worried tone as they appeared in what looked like a field of strawberries. Steven appeared a bit higher then the Crystal Gems and fell into a strawberry batch and got all sticky. Steven started to get up as the Crystal gems ran up to him. "Steven are you..."
"I'm fine. I'm good I'm just gooey." said Steven. Then butterflies started to cover him including his eyes. Steven started to scream out in fear. "Aah, they're in my eyes!" Steven started to run around as he kept screaming. Till he fell to the ground. Spinel started to chuckle a bit.
Garnet used her hand to shoe them away. "They're just butterflies, Steven.
Steven got up and let out a small chuckle. "Well, they looked a lot bigger when they were on my eyeballs."
"You crack me up some sometimes Steven." said Spinel
As Amethyst started to chuckle as well. "Steven is a bit of a riot." said Amethyst
"I'm suddenly having second thoughts about bringing Steven on this one." said Pearl
"Shh. Just look at him." said Garnet as Pearl saw Steven had a goofy and serious look on his face. "Now, let's go recover the gemstone." They all started to walk through the strawberry fields with weapon scattered all around.
"Unbelievable. This was once a gem battlefield. Now it's wild strawberries as far as the eye can see. Oh, that's what I love about the Earth. Maybe this will be a light after all." They soon got to a upside down pyramid.
"Maybe not." Then Garnet made the key to the pyramid appear and placed it into a hole in the pyramid. Then the door to the pyramid. Steven and the Crystal Gems entered the pyramid.
"Whoa!" said Steven a bit loud as it echoed back. "Steven's the best!" And it echoed back. "Why thank you temple." Once they got in there were pictures all over the walls and ceiling. There was a pedestal with an upside down pyramid floating above it. Steven walked up to pedestal as the other Gems started to look at the walls. "Hey. What's this thing? It's like a cool floaty triangle thing."
"Whatever it is, you probably shouldn't touch it" As Pearl said that Steven touched the object. Then it spined around and then the places started to shake.
"And he touched it." said Spinel
The Crystal Gems rand to Steven. "What have we told you about touching magical things?"
"Definitely always never do it." said Steven
Then all five of them started to fall as the room flipped. The fell in a hole in the ceiling. Soon the landed into a new room with doors all around. Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst and Spinel made nice landings as for Steven he landed on his stomach. Soon torches started to light up the room.
"Looks like we're gonna have to split up." said Spinel
"Right! Steven and I will stay right here where it seems to be safe while you guys go and solve the mystery of this place." said Pearl
"Wait. I want to help solve the mystery." said Steven
"Yeah. Come on, Steven. Let's solve the mystery." said Amethyst as she picked up Steven.
"Yeah! Mystery solvers!"
Then Pearl quickly grabbed Steven away from Amethyst. "Nope. No, no, no, no, no. You two are a disaster waiting to happen." said Pearl
"I could watch Steven." said Spinel
"No. Steven goes with me." said Garnet
"Really?Awesome!" said Steven
"But remember, this is a serious mission."
"Understood. Serious Steven... Pearl, can you put me down?"
"What? Oh, yes." said Pear putting Steven down.
"I need to be standing or else it doesn't work. Serious Steven activate!" Then Steven and Garnet started to walk over to a door.
"But this could be the teacups all over again."
"Hey! I've put that behind me."
"That's good to hear. After all what happened with the teacups was not one of his good moments." said Spinel
Soon Pearl, Spinel teamed up and went through a door as Amethyst went through a door alone. Steven us okay for first two rooms but when Steven and Garnet got to room three the trap was to intense that we fainted. So Garnet carried Steven over to the other side as Steven started to wake up. Then once they left the room they found themselves back were they started.
"We're back where we started." said Garnet
"What?!" said Steven in a socked tone
"Garnet, there you are! The doors and rooms here make no sense." said Pearl
"I don't understand it but no matter what. They always bring you here." said Spinel
Then Amethyst ran out of a door. "Get me out of here!" said Amythyst angry tone because this was the seventh time. Then she ran into anther door.
"There are 16 doors, and me and Spinel entered from the northeast and went through three consecutive rooms in a straight line..." Then Amethyst came through a door with a bear trap on her head and quickly pilled it off. Then went back in the door. "But arrived back here out the southernmost door witch can only mean. Well, I don't know what it means." said Pearl
"I can tell you what it means. This place is a death trap." said Spinel
Then Amethyst came out of a door frozen in a block of ice. "Your right!" Pearl and Spinel ran up to Amethyst and pulled out there weapons to free Amethyst from the ice.
"What do we do?" asked Steven
"We go back in again and again and again and again." said Garnet
"I can't!" Steven said in a panic tone.
"Steven!" said both Pearl and Spinel in a worried tone
"It's okay." said Garnet
"No. No, it's not. You were all right about me. I wanted to do this so bad, but now I feel like I'm gonna throw up. This is just like the teacups!" said Steven
"Oh Steven. I didn't really mean that." said Pearl
"Wait! Ah! Wait, you guys! What is this is just like the teacups? That's why we're getting so lost. That's why I'm feeling so sick. All the rooms are spinning us around so we end up here."
Then Garnet walked to the center of the room and summoner her weapon and started to hit the floor. After several hits the floor started crumbled away. This caused them to fall. There was a pillar in the middle of the room with platforms spinning around it. Garnet landed on a spinning platform and grabbed Steven. Pearl and Spinel landed on spinning platform. Amethyst hit a platform and was freed from the ice.
"This is unbelievable. This gem powered mechanism. It's manipulating the rooms above. Every room we entered spun us until we came back to the center chamber. It's just like the teacup ride at Funland." said Pearl
"Steven already figured that out." said Garnet
"Oh."
The Steven noticed a gem on the pillar. Then let out a gasp. "Garnet, I need to get off the ride now." said Steven
Garnet then picked up Steven. "Serious Steven go!" said Garnet as she tossed Steven at the pillar. Once Steven got to the pillar he started to pull on the gem and was able to get it out. Once the gem was out everything stopped. Then the gem started to glow and the platforms in the rooms started to be sucked into the gem. Then once all the platforms were gone the pyramid exploded. All the Crystal Gems and Steven were fine.
"Steven! Where is he?" asked Pearl not seeing Steven
"He is over here." said Amythest
"And he is find. He is just in another strawberry bush." said Spinel
"The gem." said Steven
Pearl then bubbled the gem once she got to Steven. "I'd say you handled that adventure vary well." said Pearl
"You can say that again." said Spinel
"Nice job, Serious Steven." said Amethyst
"I prefer regular Steven." said Garnet as she held Steven's ukulele.
"Hey! My ukulele." said Steven as he took back and started to tune it a bit. Then started to play it. "Oh, that's the end of another day. It was mighty serious, I'd have to say. The Crystal Gems looked really cool. When they made the temple explode." Then butterflies started to cover him like last time. "Aah! They're in my eyes again!"
