That night, Briar was walking through the Enchanted Forest as the moon loomed overhead in the sky, lighting her path through the branches of the trees. Since it was late at night she had a pink robe draped over her and tied at the waist to hide her pajamas.

"I haven't been able to sleep at all today, what could be wrong with me?" she thought as she sat down on a large rock while looking up at the moon before hearing the sound of a twig snapping behind her.

"I… is someone there?" asked a terrified Briar as she jumped from the rock while turning around and looking out at the dark forest.

"Sorry," said Faybelle as she came out from behind a tree. She had on black jeans and a dark blue long sleeve t-shirt instead of night wear.

"I didn't mean to scare you," she said.

"What are you doing out here so later, Faybelle?" asked Briar who was surprised by seeing her future storybook enemy but was also much calmer than she had been before since it was a familiar face that she saw.

"I like the night air so I occasionally come out for a moonlight walk; but more importantly, what are you doing here?" asked Faybelle.

"Might sound crazy, but I couldn't sleep so I figured I would go for a walk to see if that helps, and you can see that it hasn't," said Briar while gesturing to her still awake self.

"It's not like you to not be able to sleep," said the fairy as she got closer. In that instant, Briar could swear that she saw nothing but worry in Faybelle's expression.

"I haven't even slept a few seconds today, most usually fall asleep for a few minutes in class but nothing," said Briar.

"You don't think that you were cursed like the others, do you?" asked Faybelle.

"Just what the hex is going on around here, first Lily Devil is cursed into an angel and now I'm cursed to never sleep again?" asked Briar.

"Sure hope someone tells Briar, I'd love to bring Faybelle into this game too," said Monaca as she sat in a tree smiling down at them.

"Relax, dad," she said while looking up at the moon.

"You know that I'd never play a game where everyone could lose; besides, I have to do all of this," said Monaca as she watched Briar and Faybelle head back to the school.
