A few minutes ago
Juno, Eli, Callie, Anna and Yumi were all in section one all together. In the nearby corner. "Guys, there could only be a few of us that can take down Storm." Yumi floated another the table they were sitting at, strategizing to defeat Storm.
Anna groaned and put her hands on her eyes, wiping them and looking at Yumi. "But that's the problem Yumi, how is one of us supposed to defeat Storm?" Groaning a bit. "The only one that has a chance against him is Juno."
Juno pointed at herself. "Me? Anna, if you don't remember I couldn't defeat Silent. If Storm is as strong as Silent then what chance could I possibly have?" Sighing in disappointment.
"Well it's the best shot, all we can do is help you strategize for the match when you do go up against him. "Not only that, we also need to prepare to go up against our fights."
Eli and Callie stayed quiet as Anna and Yumi were arguing about the matchup against Storm or anyone else. "Guys." Eli said quietly as Anna and Yumi's voices were covering up the room as the other ten Pokémon in the room was staring at them. "GUYS!" He yelled out, making the room silent. "We can't afford any mistakes, and to be fair we can't strategize without Zeal."
"Yeah… Eli's right," Juno's ribbons were rubbing on her left leg, somewhat embarrassed. "Zeal is the only one that can strategize in this group, without him this team would fall."
"Okay.. Okay…" Yumi sighed, "Sorry." Hearing Eli's name being called out to the field.
He got up from his seat. "I'll go to my round, I'll see some of you guys in the semi-finals." Heading to the arena, hearing words 'good luck' from his friends.
As the others followed him to spectate, seeing once Eli walked up onto stage they saw a Jolteon in black trench coat as his fingerless gloves had markings of Kyogre. His striking gaze feared Callie, Anna and Yumi. But for Juno? All she sees in his eyes is sympathy, pity.
"On the field! We have Darklight!" Eli seemed to be very angry but tried to remain calm. "You all already know who Storm is, if not! One of the Pokémon that makes a battle last under thirty seconds!" Cheering from the crowd could be heard.
"I'm going to take you down, once and for all!" His rings started to glow as the countdown began.
Storm sighed and looked at him, seeing the crowd cheering and yelling. Hearing the word 'fight!' Eli stood there waiting. "If you got what it takes Eli, then I'd applaud you. But you're far too weak." He ran forward, seemingly looked to be teleported and double kicked him and jumped off of him.
Eli was pushed into the ground as he could feel his bones crack a bit. The crowd could hear it as Storm brings out a sword from his mask. Whispering quietly. "Thunderstorm and Rain." As he threw the sword up into the air, creating a cloud of black, seeing streaks of thunder going through the cloud.
Once the cloud was fully produced all over the colosseum the sword flew down in front of Velo, as his aura grew slowly, picking up the sword, rain started falling down. When it touched Velo, the water drops stopped around Velo. The water drops changed and formed into swords. Running straight at Eli he slashed him with the water blades not too sharp to kill him, just dull enough to hurt him and knock him out.
The crowd was shocked by the rain and how much force that Storm is putting on Eli. "He's going to kill him!" Anna said as she was going to run out there, but was stopped by Yumi.
"We can't interfere in the battle. It would go against the rules." She tried to stop her.
"But we can't let this happen!" Anna moved to the side and tried to turn as Juno stopped her by grabbing her with her ribbons. "Juno you can't! Are you seriously agreeing with Yumi here?"
"We have to Anna, remember this is a tournament Storm can't kill him or else all his efforts disappear." Shaking her head as Anna stopped and looked at the arena.
Storm backed up as Eli was on the ground bruised up. "I see that you're still on your feet. I congratulate you." Looking at the ground under him as it was smashed due to Storm using Eli like a nail.
"Y-You underestimate me…" Trying to stand up straight.
"Well, expected from my brother's rivals." Sighing as he kept up the act, "I'll tell you this, if you couldn't defeat Silent from those four years then you have no chance of beating me. No offense or disrespect."
"D-Don't worry." Grunting as he can feel his bones were broken. "None taken…" As he fell on the ground, fainting.
"I-It seems that Storm won aga-"
Velo put his paw up, letting the announcer to knowstop, "No, I'll give him a second chance." As his sword changes to a spear throwing it up in the air on top of him as it goes straight down towards Eli, having the crowd gasping.
"Eli!" Yumi and Anna said as Juno stopped them both and shook her head.
"We have to do something Juno! He's going to kill him!" Anna resisted, but Juno grabbed her with her ribbons.
Juno sighed, "Don't make it any worse."
Looking at her. "Worse!?" Anna yelled but Juno just pointed at the spear, she looked as the spear transformed into a drop.
"Clear sky." He said out loud, as the water drop fell on him, Eli woke up immediately looking at his paws, legs, and arms. Feeling his limbs again.
"What did you do..?" Amazed by this, what was made was impossible.
"What needed to be done, now get up for our second round." He went into his battle stance as the water drop from Eli was removed and sent back to Velo transforming into a spear. "Show me what you got." Grabbing the spear and going into a fighting stance.
"Alright… I guess I got you all wrong." He switched his stance to battle.
"I'm not like my brother, I give mercy to those that are worthy." Keeping up his act perfectly, hearing from the crowd as they cheered the battle. "You have skill, but it's not to defeat me." As the crowd started to count down once again, hearing 'fight' they charged at each other, the spear dissolved into water going under Velo. "Kyogre's swimming style." Sliding under him, grabbing his ankles and throwing him on the ground quickly. Eli tried to react in time, but couldn't in time but felt the full force. The water now appeared under him as electricity from the sky sparking blue electricity. "Zekrom's thunder." As it struck down, Eli got up jumping up till the water under him jumped up at him chaining his ankles and wrists pulling him down. "Kyogre's Chains."
The thunder stuck him down, as the electricity damage was tripled due to the combined power of both legendaries. Making Eli faint quickly. Velo sighed, he turned around seeing Eli's friends, and seeing Juno behind all of them. He sighed as the water went into his mask. Walking back inside section two. "It seems that Darklight has lost the battle!"
Eli's friends even from section two ran into the arena to check on Eli. "What's this? Darklight's guild members came into the arena to check on their fellow teammate!" Juno checked his pulse to make sure he was alive, thankfully he was alive.
"Get him to the hospital quickly." Zeal said, as the others nodded.
"That was disappointing." Velo sighed walking out of the room of section two. Looking around, he walked to the second section as he brought the sword out and drew it on the ground. "Clone." It changed into another version of himself, he removed his mask as his form switched back to normal clothing. "Go back into section two and wait till it's the next round."
The clone nodded and walked back inside, putting the mask into one of the cards. He then brought out a different mask, his dark mark from his past. Sighing, he looked at the dark mask he was holding, feeling the sinister power coming from it. Shaking his head puting the mask back into the card.
"I need to clear my mind." He walked around in the kingdom seeing a bunch of innocents walking around, pokemon living peacefully and living so casually. Smiling a bit, but looking back at the colosseum he frowned. Facepalming, but now he'd need to take that book from what Yveltal said and move somewhere else. "Maybe I can live in another forest, I like the peace and quiet."
The air felt so refreshing to Velo, there were children running around playing soccer laughing. Walking past them, seeing more children looking like they're helping with their families. Chuckling a bit a Pokémon ran into him, it looked to be a child, a Cleffa. "I-I'm sorry s-sir!" She bowed down.
"Oh Nono, it's alright." He patted the young Cleffa, "No trouble, just enjoy life to the fullest." He smiled, the small Cleffa smiled and ran past him, to her mother that was behind him.
Turning around, "Sorry for the trouble sir of my daughter." Clefable bowed down.
"Oh Nono, I said it's alright." He scratched his head, "I was just walking. Just keep an eye on your daughter."
"Thank you sir," Lifting her head, walking away holding hands with her daughter.
He smiled and waved them off, a few seconds he turned around as his facial expression changed, the air around him became hard to breathe as he walked down an alleyway. Sitting down, and looking at a wall in front of him as his vision became distorted and glitched. "Damn it. I need that book, but how am I supposed to get it…"
Shaking his head, he got back up as he changed his mood, the air became normal once again and walking out the alleyway hearing chatting from many Pokémon. He walked back to the colosseum as he heard cheering as multiple Chansey's and Audio's treated downed Pokémon. Seeing that many Pokémon were nearby, he saw Eli's body seeing he was knocked out and twenty-two other Pokémon not just Eli's body, Anna, Millie and Callie bodies were there seeing they were fainted.
Whispering to himself, "I guess there were some ties. Interesting." Walking forward looking at the other bodies being carried out. Seeing the Bisharp and the Escavalier he saw not long ago fainted too. "So there's eight left, this is the Semi-finals." He walked down an alleyway nearby and brought the mask out of Kyogre and Zekrom, placing it on as his body became liquid disappearing from everyone's sight and changing as the view of his vision became his clone's view. "Somewhat teleporting? I'll take it."
Seeing the same Flaaffy that he saw before was now here. "Alright you four, you are just staying here as the semi finals are here.." The Flaaffy looked up seeing Storm, Zeal, Jacob and the Obstagoon. They nodded as the Flaaffy just sat in a nearby corner, since the rounds would probably be short.
For the other side there was the same Delibird who had a clipboard with him. "I guess you four are staying here." Looking closer at the clipboard due to his terrible vision. "I need new glasses…" Groaning but he looked up seeing Juno, Yumi, Lin and a Greninja.
Lin stayed there quietly, sighing as he was sitting on a bench far away from the other three. Looking at Juno and Yumi, he sees that they're sitting next to each other. But already knowing who they both are, famously. Sighing that Velo didn't decide to come and spectate. "If I do win this, I'll give half to Velo." Chuckling a bit.
Hearing a name being called 'Satoshi' As the Greninja got up, and walked off the arena. He sees green hexagons around him. Lin just shrugs and just waits. He hears cheering and just decides to spectate, he gets up and walks to the arena. Looking at the middle he sees the Greninja fighting against a Dragonite.
He hears the crowd counting down as they say 'fight' he sees the Greninja disappear into small parts of himself, moreover Froakies about fifty in total. Doing multiple hits on the Dragonite as the Dragonite fought back it seems that the Froakies were synchronizing their movements. For some reason they both look evenly matched, but it seems that the Dragonite seems to tire out a bit as ten of the Froakies jumped into together as a bright glow appeared on them.
Changing into a Frogadier, using aerial ace. As it looked to be a dagger he cut through the dragonite getting a clean hit. The Dragonite was on his knee, switching to a defensive stance. Again the Frogadier used an aerial ace hitting him multiple times as the Froakies also did the same and went into groups of ten; repeating the process. Four appear doing what the other Frogadier is doing.
Lin notices where this is going to happen, he walks off knowing the Greninja he saw is going to win the match. Walking off he hears a draco meteor from the sky. "Or… Maybe not.." Still walking away. Going back to his seat he waited but decided to grab out a book he had in his bag. Opening it and reading.
The battle continued in the arena for about four minutes as the Greninja walked back inside. Seeing green hexagons. He sat down, listening to the next names. Zealot Undertake and Green Glob as he sees the Reuniclus float away from the Sylveon and waving goodbye.
"Don't try to lose to Zeal!" Sylveon yelled out.
As she turns around waving, "I'll try not to!" Flying to the Arena.
Lin recognized her voice and he didn't realize that those two pokemon that visited him yesterday. Lin was looking at them as Sylveon looked at him and waved hello walking. "You must be that pokemon that was selling those drinks right? From yesterday?"
"Oh! Yeah, that was me."
She put her ribbon on her chin, "I never really told you my name right?"
"From what I remember, no." Scratching his head. "But you are Internal Life correct?"
Nodding at him, "Can I sit here?" As one of her ribbons points right next to him.
"Oh sure." Juno sat down next to him.
"My apologies, but since you know my hero name I'd be guessing you know my real name?" She tried getting comfortable where she's at.
"It's Juno right?" She nodded at him, "Alright."
"What is your name?" Looking at him.
"Oh uh, it's Lin, Lin Liu." Scratching his head.
"Alright, I have a question Lin." As he looked at her. "Why did you decide to join the tournament?"
Thinking for a bit he remembered why he joined, "Well, I actually just wanted to join to get the prize money to extend my business a bit more."
"That sounds great, are you the only one working at your shop?" Questioning him again.
Nodding then sighing afterwards, "Yeah, I was planning to try to win the tournament and give half the prize money to my friend. Or at least try to have him join it." Slouching his back, this caught Juno's ear. "He is just really lonely, barely any friends. I know he can take care of himself but he's always inside his house looking at the crystal we found." Noticing that he was speaking too much. "Sorry, I didn't let you get a chance to talk."
"Oh no, it's okay! Who is this friend of yours?" As she was paying attention to what he had to say.
Lin notices this but continues, "Well, his name is Velo-"
"Wait, his name is Velo?!" Yelling his name out as the Delibird that was in the room looked at them, moving his glasses up. "Sorry." Lowering her voice, "Was his name actually Velo?" Looking at Lin dead serious.
"Uh yeah..? What about it?" Moving a bit away from Juno.
"It's just that I met him yesterday and he caused me some trouble." Sighing a bit.
Confused on what she meant, knowing Velo himself he knows that Velo keeps things to himself a lot. "On how exactly?"
"I just saw him a bit depressed and I tried cheering him up a bit." Hearing Lin chuckling a bit as some tears came out, "What?"
Lin wiped his tears and looked at her, "Sorry sorry, it's just that Velo doesn't like when pokemon try to support or help him."
"He doesn't?" Confused by this, since she tries and does her best.
He nodded, "Yeah, he's always that mystery pokemon, it's best to not get him on his bad side." Juno somewhat understood what he meant.
"Are you doing this tournament because Velo can't fight or is weak?" Questioning him as she heard cheers from the arena.
Lin shook his head, "Velo isn't weak, he's actually strong. Stronger than me, he just doesn't like fighting anymore."
From the other side from section two, Velo sneezes in his mask as he walks out, wiping the snot from his mask a bit. "Someone is probably talking about me…"
Back at section one, Juno remembers that Velo said something about retiring from fighting or something like that, hearing outside that Yumi lost to Zeal. "Dang it, Yumi lost this time." Sighing and semi-facepalming.
"Yumi? Was she that Reuniclus?" He asked due to not knowing anyone named Yumi.
Juno sweated a bit, because although her group was somewhat famous, just anyone who is friends with Velo just doesn't know anyone from her group. But nodded anyway, "Yeah, we're both kinda like best friends to be honest, well… From what I think of." Not knowing if they're even considered as friends.
Juno facepalmed, "I guess, but what about Velo being stronger than you?"
"Oh uh right, I saw him use skills that I haven't seen before, in some of our battles was him going easy on me…" Scratching his head, "When I think about it he probably is stronger than you even though you're a X rank…" Facepalming his forehead. "No offense of course."
"None taken," Smiling at Lin.
But he got his posture back to normal as he stopped sweating, "Also I think I know why he might have caused you trouble."
"Oh? Really?"
Lin nodded, and laughed a bit. "Yeah, he just hates heroes, or people that are in guilds."
"Wait really?" She stood up shocked by this.
Lin chuckled, "I know it's hard to understand why Velo hates heroes or hate guild members. We both formed a team actually, but he never really seemed to hate it." Shrugging when he thought about it.
"Oh right!" As she put a fisted paw on the palm of the other, "You said something about him with a crystal, what was that about?"
"The crystal? We found it during one of our expeditions. If I remember he was obsessed with it the moment we found it." He thought about how he was acting, "That's when we stopped expeditioning together." He laid his back on the wall.
"That sounds harsh, sorry to hear about that." Juno frowned not only that she was disappointed in Velo for doing that.
"Nono it's alright, it's just that he told me something about that crystal, that it was speaking to him." Facepalming a bit. "I just wanted to understand why, but ever since that crystal he acted like a completely different pokemon, he went to study it at his house."
Juno was confused, "He went to study at his house? Doesn't he need the essentials to test on it?"
Lin nodded and got his posture back to normal. "Yeah, but he has the essentials though, and they're really expensive. I've seen them before at his house."
"No way." She didn't believe them, due to the equipment you need is ten platinum coins in general.
He nodded anyway, "But it's true, I don't know how he got the money." He shrugged.
Hearing Lin's name being called out, "Well, I guess it's my turn. I'll see you in the finals if I do manage to get in."
"See ya." She waved Lin goodbye as he got up going into the arena.
Walking into the arena as he looked forward seeing a Jolteon, in black with his mask. "Alright everybody we have Lin Liu against Storm!"
"Damn it. I think it's the end for me." As he went into stance taking a deep breath. "Don't take it all out on me now will you?" He said out loud towards the pokemon in front of him.
"Don't worry, Lin Liu. I won't destroy you quickly like others." Storm readied his stance as he moved his body forward and his hind legs were high in the air, Lin recognizes this stance that the only pokemon uses is Velo. "I'm feeling generous, so do please entertain me"
The countdown started as Lin launched forward a knee up as Storm quickly ducked down as he used his hind legs to grab his waist and throw him down on the ground. But Lin quickly countered that by latching onto Storm's legs with his arms and throwing him down on the ground instead.
However Storm's mask produced water from the forehead and became a waterbed to cushion the impact.
Everyone gasped by this seeing that Lin might have a chance against him, the three princesses were also amazed by this. "I see that you saw through my attack, Storm." As Lin did backward somersaults.
"I applaud you Lin, but we should continue." He stretched one more time.
Lin nodded, "I agree." As he ran forward and jumped up did a forward somersault to slam his right leg on him.
Storm blocked it as his mask produced water forming into a shield. The moment Lin slammed his leg on the shield he saw sparks on it, he quickly moved his foot on the shield to boost himself up in the air.
"You fell for the trap." As the water shield transformed into a spear striking with blue electricity. "Thunderclap." As it shot up straight at Lin without any reaction time to dodge it. "This will make you faint."
The crowd was cheering loudly until the electricity stopped, seeing Lin on the floor. "It seems that this round will be-!" The exploud stopped talking when he saw Lin get up.
"It's not over till it's really over!" Lin said due to the crowd knowing that most pokemon would've fainted by now.
"But it is over." The spear that struck him down transformed into water and performed a similar circle but with different markings. "Waterlock." As chains appeared from the circle wrapped onto Lins waist, ankles and wrist. Then water comes out trapping Lin in the circle. "I only need you to faint. So you can't participate any more."
Lin struggled moving around trying to find a way out of the situation. Trying to hold his breath he was panicking trying to not give up. He closed his eyes for a bit while moving, then opening for a bit he looked at Storm's eyes. Seeing that he was showing him mercy, looking at him begging to give up. Lin moved a bit more, then decided to give up. He stopped moving, fainting in the process.
Storm quickly drops the waterlock and runs quickly towards Lin kneeling down on him, "Sorry… friend." He checked his pulse making sure he didn't kill him. Thankfully he was still alive, he walked away as everyone was cheering him on. "But I can't afford anyone to win against me."
Sapphire was talking to her sisters as they nodded, as Sapphire walked out of her seat and headed down stairs. But her guards did not follow her.
Storm walks out and sees the Audino's and Chansies coming to the arena to pick up Lin. Zeal looks at Velo seriously. But he just ignores him, now for a few minutes he hears the next names being called out but Velo didn't care. As the process repeated the round began with Juno. However Velo's vision became glitched and broken again.
He sees the spirits of Zekrom and Kyogre. "What are you both doing here?" He said out loud, as Zeal looked at him suspiciously.
"We wanted to check on you, chosen one." As the spirit of Kyogre could be heard as it flew around Velo.
Zekrom groaned, hearing somewhat of a facepalm, "Nope it wasn't my idea, it was Kyogre's idea."
"Oh come on Zekrom. We should check on the chosen one to see what progress he has made." As Kyogre's spirit was floating around Zekroms.
"Are you both serious?" As he looks at the spirits. But from Zeal's perspective he doesn't see anything in front of him. "And how did you guys even get here?"
"Oh did a trick that all legendaries know, chosen one. But I'd be guessing you had a chat with Yveltal too not long ago?" Kyogre asked, "So why isn't he here?"
"Oh about that… Yveltal doesn't know the tricks because he wasn't told about them.." He chuckled a bit, "And how did you know I had a chat with him?"
"Oh, because we are all connected to each other, chosen one." Kyogre's spirit then landed on his lap as Zekrom's spirit was landing on his head.
Zekrom groaned a bit, "I was having a nice sleep till Kyogre decided to contact Reshiram and make me get up.."
"Don't be so silly Zekrom." She seemed to be sarcastic.
"Can you both, take this seriously?" As both of them nodded, "What do you mean exactly by connected? And can you both stop looking like spirits, I want to see you both so it doesn't become weird and awkward for me."
"Yes we can." As Kyogre's spirit glowed as a small Kyogre moreover looked like a baby appeared on Velo's lap. While on top Zekrom did the same. Zeal saw the glowing but couldn't see the aftermath, so he was shocked massively.
"We don't use this often due to no one actually asking us to do this." Zekrom shrugged. "But let's continue the topic."
"I agree." Kyogre nodded, "But anyway what you meant by us being connected is when we accepted the deal that made you connected with us."
"So then I have another question." As Velo put a paw on his chin.
"What is the chosen one?" Kyogre laid down on Velo's lap like she's resting.
"Do you both know all the answers of using the legendary powers?" Velo put a paw on top of his head as if he was petting Zekrom.
Velo could feel Zekrom's head shake, "No, we don't know, that book that you saw from that Espeon might have all the answers. Like what Yveltlal said."
"Then how come you guys can do this? Haven't you all been here since like the beginning of time or something? How come that you both don't know everything about them?" He stopped petting Zekrom as he started to pet Kyogre.
"We have.. Well.. Sort of." Zekrom shrugged.
"Arceus makes us limit ourselves; we only keep some memories. If we tell our owner everything there would be no point in trying to get stronger." She rolled around his lap.
"What do you guys think I should try and do? Get every legendary power? To know all we can?" He suggested.
"That could be a choice, chosen one. Since each one of us knows one little piece of information about the legendary powers. Due to us being limited and all." Kyogre stopped rolling and looked at Zekrom as she floated up like a balloon.
Something popped into Velo's mind as an idea, "Wait so I need you both to be clear about the information you know only. Zekrom you go first."
Zekrom got off his head and floated in front of him. "Alright, what I know is that we can make ourselves look like this and that we can communicate with our owners."
Kyogre took Zekrom's silence as a sign that it's her turn. "Oh uh, what I know is that we can talk to each other through our heads even without our spirits."
Velo then took this information thinking about it. "So Yveltal knows that we can talk to each other through dreams and we have to bond and talk to each other if we want our power to be stronger."
Kyogre and Zekrom nodded understanding that, "But chosen one, still in mind you should take that book from that Espeon."
"First of all Kyogre can you please stop calling me 'chosen one' just call me Velo we're all bonded aren't we?" Sighing as he sees the corner of his eye Zeal is looking at him.
"Okay okay, Master Velo." Kyogre changed the name trying to still be loyal.
"That's not-" He facepalmed.
Velo heard Zekrom laughing a bit, "Get used to it Velo, Kyogre isn't going to stop."
"Okay, okay." He accepted what Kyogre's name changing is for him. "Wait, if I get all the powers… Doesn't that mean you all can talk to each other?"
"That genuinely sounds fun, actually." Zekrom put his 'hands' on his waist. "But it was fun talking, our limit is probably ending soon."
"Yep, we'll talk to you later Master Velo." She bowed as Zekrom just waved goodbye. They disappeared from his sight, as he sighed.
Looking up to the right he sees a glaceon there waiting, as she walks up to him. "Well… That's probably not good."
Alright everyone I hoped you enjoyed this chapter! I know it took awhile but the next chapter will probably take longer, because I need to take notes of my past chapters and make each Legendary of what they know in a document and what they do when they give the pokemon power since I forgot to do that, not only that I need to make another separate document for Mythicals too. I hope I can bring the next chapter fast but for now it's going to take awhile.
So yeah… Sorry that it's gonna be like that but you know gotta do it for story purposes so I don't mess up the story in not a chronological order- (Also we're going to hit 700 views soon!)
