Akagawa cackled as he swung his scythe, making Shigaraki's hand fly off the blade. Shigaraki dodged each of Akagawa's swings. Shigaraki waited for a blind spot and grabbed his scythe, taking it away from Akagawa and throwing it off to the side.

"You're predictable." Shigaraki chuckled.

"Haha...!" Akagawa chuckled as the blade had come back onto the back of Shigaraki's head, making the villain nearly fall onto the ground. "You know, I wasn't sure about this whole "hero school" thing but I'm starting to see the benefits of enrolling here!"

"That's enough!" All Might exclaimed, and suddenly, Akagawa was now standing behind All Might five feet away from Shigaraki. To them, it looked as if only Akagawa had moved, but in reality, All Might had grabbed him and ran back to his position in the blink of an eye. Superhuman speed came with superhuman strength to some degree. Yet all Akagawa did was scowl.

"Damn meddling hero," Akagawa grumbled. "I was just starting to have my fun."

"Don't try to drag Young Akagawa down your way. Villains are nothing but lunatics. Criminals like him...they always try to make their actions sound noble, but admit it," he turned toward Shigaraki, who cackled. "you're only doing this because you like it."

"Oh?" Akagawa rolled his head toward All Might, his unimpressed emerald eyes glaring into All Might. "You think you got it, do you? You don't. Not about me. You should be nicer to me and my feelings, All Might. After all, I saved your successor's life earlier."

"My...?" All Might gave a shocked expression toward Akagawa, who only continued to stare in return.

Shigaraki began cackling uncontrollably. He looked as if he was certainly having fun. "Well, he sure has got me figured out—!"

"Yeah, we know already, just shut up and stand there! I'll be there to fight you in just a moment, we're having a conversation here!" Akagawa spat, but Shigaraki only started to speak again, inaudible words as Akagawa shouted. "Did you not hear me!? The grownups are talking! Hello!? Can you listen to what I'm saying or is your brain that badly damaged!? Can you read my lips?!" Akagawa rolled his words, his voice was loud and obnoxious with a mockingly childish tone to it.

"Akagawa, what's gotten into you?" Midoriya asked, getting ready to run for the redhead. Akagawa only scowled under his breath as he heard Midoriya's voice. However, it wasn't Midoriya that caught up to him first. Instead, it was a hard punch that nearly made him drop his guard entirely from shock.

"Seriously, how can you be so stupid!?" Bakugou growled before shaking his head and smirking widely. "To think that I'd let someone like you fight this scum alone. Ridiculous."

"We've got them outnumbered," Todoroki stated, standing beside Midoriya and peering at the two villains and their science experiment.

"And Kacchan found Kurogiri's weakness," Midoriya said, his look of determination swaying even Todoroki's stoic self.

"These guys might look really tough, but we can take them down now, with All Might's help," Kirishima said, activating his Quirk. "Let's do this!"

"Don't attack!" All Might ordered. "Get out of here!"

"You would've been in trouble earlier if it weren't for me, remember? You need our help." Todoroki said sternly.

"I appreciate your assistance, but this is different." All Might responded. "It's gonna be alright. Just sit back and watch a pro at work!"

"But you're too hurt, you're bleeding, and you're almost out of time—!" Midoriya stopped himself mid-sentence, glancing nervously toward his classmates. All Might gave a thumbs up, silencing Midoriya.

"Nomu, Kurogiri, kill him. I'll deal with the children." Shigaraki demanded. "Let's clear this level and go home."

Shigaraki came full speed at the students. Akagawa and Bakugou, being at the head of that group, attacked first. Bakugou with an explosion, and Akagawa charging up into the air unbeknownst to Shigaraki. Or so he would make it seem, but as Akagawa struck his scythe down, Shigaraki was prepared and began shredding his energy with his destruction Quirk on his scythe.

Both of the males had to stop in their tracks from proceeding their battle. A strong overwhelming power took over their attentions. They all watched as All Might charged at Nomu, punching him with a blow that created large gusts of winds to blow his student's hair's back and forth wildly. All Might and Nomu were shoulder-to-shoulder in a fistfight, giving one another blows that far surpassed the normal speed that one cannot see all the blows dealt until they were already over with.

"He's fighting Nomu head-on!?" Midoriya gasped. They kept firing blows at one another without hesitation, every single one of All Might's punches was more than one hundred percent, and they were all targeted. Their fight progressed until they were eventually fighting mid-air, jumping from place to place in the air while punching one another without restraint. Suddenly, Nomu was body-slammed onto the ground. All Might held him up by his neck and gave a final blow, sending Nomu flying to the skylight and breaking the glass, sending him out into daylight.

"That was like the finishing move in a video game! He beat the shock absorption right out of him!" Kirishima exclaimed in astonishment. "I've never seen that kind of brute strength!"

"Imagine having power like that..." Bakugou trailed. "He must've been punching that monster so fast it couldn't regenerate!"

Akagawa whistled. "Number one hero, huh."

"I really have gotten weaker." All Might commented, the dust settling around him. "Back in my prime, five hits would've been enough. But today, it took more than three hundred." All Might's body was smoking, but it didn't seem to matter to him. He turned toward Shigaraki and Kurogiri. "You've been bested, villains. Surrender. We all want to get this over with quickly."

"No! He-he-he's not ant weaker at all!" Shigaraki said frantic, his body shaking from frustration. "And look what he did to my Nomu! He...cheated! Damnit! Don't tell me I was lied to—!"

"What's wrong?" All Might smirked. "Not attacking me? Didn't you say you were going to clear this level earlier? Well, come at me, if you dare!"

Shigaraki took a step back.

"Man, this is...intense," Bakugou commented. He gave an 'oof' sound as Akagawa leaned onto his shoulder.

"If Blasty thinks this is intense, then it must really be some serious stuff for you guys!" Akagawa cackled. "Better leave now while you can. It's going to get more intense from here. Better leave while you still have your balls to worry about!"

"The hell is that supposed to mean, Vampire Bastard? You sayin' you're different than us, or something!? If anything, you're only different in the fact that you're a total nutjob! I preferred when you at least tried to maintain a sane persona!"

"Aw, and here I thought you always hated me completely!"

"Wha—!? Idiot! That's not what I said at all!"

"As I expected, there's no reason for us to fight anymore. He'll handle this." Todoroki stated. Kirishima nodded and the two began walking toward the entrance. Bakugou scoffed at Akagawa, glanced toward All Might, and finally headed to follow Todoroki and Kirishima.

"Come on, you two, let's go group up with the other guys! The last thing we wanna do is get taken hostage or get in his way!" Kirishima called to the stragglers, but neither of them moved. Midoriya and Akagawa glanced at one another. The three paused, waiting for their classmates.

"What? Are you scared?" All Might questioned the villains, who have been standing around up to this point, figuring out what to do. Shigaraki began scratching his neck relentlessly.

"If Nomu were here..." he growled.

"Don't stress!" Kurogiri exclaimed nervously, doing his best to try and console Shigaraki. "Look at him! Nomu's attacks were successful! He's about done for! He's on his own, too! The children appear to be frozen in fear!"

"Do I look like I'm frozen in fear?" Akagawa sent his scythe hurdling their way, letting it strike through Kurogiri's translucent body, startling him, but nothing more. The scythe vanished and Akagawa created another in its place. "I was simply being polite and waiting for the perfect time to kill you! Don't make a mistake like that again, and you'll see a hint of mercy." He shrugged. "Maybe."

"O-our underlings... they're recovering! We likely have a few moments before reinforcements arrive! If you and I work together, we can do this! We haven't missed our chance to kill All Might!" Kurogiri exclaimed nervously, a new side of him showing to the audience. A side that Akagawa would call "Bitch Boy".

"Yeah..." Shigaraki ceased scratching. "Yeah, you're right. This is it. We have no choice. We have to do it now. I mean, the big End Boss is right here."

"Man, all these video game comparisons are starting to get annoying." Akagawa gained their attention. "Are you trying to show off that you play video games? I bet you've never even played the best game to ever exist! It's blocks and you craft things. You have no idea what I'm talking about, you posers."

"I really hope Dracula lets us kill you," Shigaraki growled.

Akagawa smiled and nodded. "Me too."

The recovered villains began approaching behind the pack of students. Bakugou let off an explosion, not allowing them to come any further, while Kirishima looked back at everyone else. "Bakugou and I can take 'em. Let's make sure these dudes don't hurt anybody else!"

"Will you be joining us?" Todoroki asked Midoriya, who was too caught up in his head to respond immediately. Shigaraki, taking the first move, ran full speed at All Might while Kurogiri's mist followed suit. Just as they were about to collide, Midoriya jumped into the fray. He had used his Quirk on his legs for maximum speed, but it also broke them both in the process.

While most of the class was too shocked to do anything, Akagawa rolled his eyes and reacted first. He was already starting to get used to Midoriya's self-sacrificing tendencies. Midoriya readied a punch at Shigaraki, but Shigaraki's hand went through the mist and was moments away from touching Midoriya's face.

Midoriya was grabbed and pulled back by All Might while Shigaraki was pulled back by the curving business end of a red scythe around his neck. With Shigaraki's hand frozen mid-air, it made it a lot easier for the pro hero to shoot it with his gun. On the horizon, reinforcements had finally arrived. All pro heroes working with the school had come to help. And in the middle of them was Principal Nezu and Iida.

Present Mic used his Quirk to deafen the villains, his booming voice. Although it didn't hit the students as hard as the villains, it still was an unpleasant sound. It was then that Akagawa remembered Midoriya's condition and glanced toward Shigaraki as he tried to hide the fact that he was about to touch Akagawa's side.

Akagawa shoved Shigaraki out of proximity by swinging his blade, not strong enough to slit his throat, but enough to where he was thrown feet away. Shigaraki instantly staggered up and met up with Kurogiri just in time to enter his portal. They got away.

Akagawa disregarded that fact and instead went to kneel down at Midoriya, who was laid onto the ground by All Might. With broken legs, he definitely wouldn't be moving anywhere on his own. Although Midoriya was wincing in pain, he seemed to be able to deal with it. With was concerning, but it's not like he wasn't used to it at this point.

"Akagawa...you let them go?" Midoriya asked, looking up into Akagawa's blank emerald eyes.

"Shut up. You're in no condition to start asking me questions, you damn fool. When did you get so reckless, huh?" Akagawa growled. "I'm starting to think that having a pro hero's Quirk is more of a burden than anything."

"Huh!?" Midoriya cried. "A-Akagawa, you know!?"

Midoriya frantically looked at All Might, who was behind him sitting on the floor. This caused Akagawa to look at him, and he then realized that he didn't look like he usually does. He was...smaller. Skinnier. Pessimistic-looking rather than his smiling optimistic-self. He kind of looked like a drug dealer who had just been robbed of drugs.

"It's fine, Young Midoriya." Even his voice was a bit different. "I trust Akagawa. I trust that he won't make the wrong decision. Even if it is...regarding this important matter."

"Hey, did they get the shipwreck villains?" Akagawa interrupted, to their surprises.

"Yeah, why?" Midoriya questioned.

Akagawa nearly fell to his knees, a red mist entering his body. He panted a bit. "My rope...it's been on them this whole time. I'm gonna be honest. I'm so tired, I can barely stand. That idiot, Shigaraki, had me using up energy over and over again. I nearly had an actual stroke two times."

"You didn't even look phased!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"I'm good at hiding it."

"Midoriya, Akagawa, hey!" Kirishima shouted, interrupting Akagawa. He began to run up to them, oblivious about the pro hero in his current state.

"Sorry, I can't get up! But we're fine!" Midoriya called back.

"What? Are you okay?" Kirishima began approaching. If it wasn't for Cementoss making a wall between Kirishima and them, he probably would've seen All Might. Er, Some Might.

"For your safety, please stay back. Join your classmates at the front gate. Leave the incredibly injured to us." Cementoss said, protecting All Might's secret.

"Huh? Is Akagawa also injured?" Kirishima asked before shaking his head. "Ah, sorry! I'll get out of your way now!"

An ambulance came for All Might and Midoriya, as well as Aizawa Sensei and Thirteen. Although Akagawa wasn't injured at all, he was forced to ride in an ambulance of his choice. It didn't matter to the pros as long as Akagawa went to the same place as them. So, he chose Midoriya. Anyone else would've either been unconscious or incredibly awkward.

"How long have you known?" Midoriya asked, staring up at Akagawa as he gripped the wall so be wouldn't fall in the bumpy ride.

"Oh...about, uh...I don't know, a week in? Well...more like a couple of days, really."

Midoriya laughed. "I was that bad at hiding it?"

"No. Well, kinda. You see, the day that you beat Blasty. I followed him before you, wanting to... well, I got nervous and stood around thinking of what to do, and that's when you showed up and gave your little speech." Akagawa shrugged. "It just made sense at that point."

"I see..." Midoriya sweatdropped. "Me and my mouth..."

"I'm surprised Blasty didn't realize. Or...I think he does, actually. But he doesn't want to admit it. It probably hurts, y'know. Not being chosen by his role model, and instead, he chose the person that he bullied for years." Akagawa then noticed Midoriya's expression. He peered at the floor.

It was silent for a bit before Midoriya spoke. "Thank you."

Akagawa's head snapped toward him. "The hell? For what?"

"You give good advice. It's harsh but good. I know that was your way to helping me, wasn't it? To figure Kacchan out better?" Midoriya smiled. "Honestly, I can never tell what's going through his head at times."

The rest of the ride was Midoriya talking about Bakugou and how he had changed over the years, and Akagawa just listening. From being an All Might fanboy with a power complex to a bully with god complex to a rival with a victory complex. Little details that nobody but Midoriya would ever catch. Through it all, Akagawa didn't say a word.

It wasn't long until they arrived at their destination, cutting off Midoriya's continous ongoing story. Typically, they would be in an actual hospital, but since these were pro heroes and not civilians they were taken to the school infirmary. It was a portion of the size of a regular hospital, but it did its job better, with better staff and secure personnel.

Midoriya was taken out of the ambulance on his stretcher and brought into the main department of the school. Akagawa stood around, wondering what he was doing here in the first place. Why didn't he just ride back with the rest of the class? This school made no sense to him.

"Akagawa. Follow me." Principal Nezu said, gaining the boy's attention. Akagawa frowned.

"Oh, not you again."

"Yes, yes, we both dislike each other. Let's get a move on, now." Principal Nezu began walking inside the school from the east door instead of the west.

"Wait, you dislike me?"

Akagawa was brought to Principal Nezu's office. The principal took a seat behind his desk and motioned for Akagawa to sit across from him. Akagawa sat in the seat reluctantly.

"Okay..." Akagawa trailed, seeing the framed documents and interesting paintings of mice on the walls. "If it's about seeing Some Might, I've known for a while now, and I ain't about to tell people, if that's what you're worried about."

"No. Well, yes and no." Nezu replied. "While that is critical information at top classified priority, I have some different questions. It's about Dracula." Akagawa shifted in his seat uncomfortably. "On your files, it said you had no affiliation with the villain. But your surname is the same as this man's." Nezu placed a file in front of Akagawa. "His file was classified as a missing person. And honestly, I didn't know that you were actually close with Dracula. Just a missing person that was connected to said villain. Connected in some way."

"Yeah, okay?" Akagawa sighed. "Akagawa Hayate is my older brother. He went missing around the same time Dracula appeared? Yeah, that's because he is Dracula. Looks barely alike, don't they? Strange how far fashion has come nowadays."

"So, Dracula is Akagawa Hayate. Okay. That's all I wanted to know. It makes sense, and I'm sure this confirmed what investigators have already inquired." Principal Nezu stood up and headed for the door.

Akagawa narrowed his eyebrows. "That's it? I can go?"

"That's it," Nezu replied. "Just be sure to keep Toshinori's secret. I would hate to lock up a student who is very important to us, especially regarding a certain case." He said as Akagawa followed him.

Akagawa nodded. "Sure."

Nezu opened and shut the door behind his student. Akagawa began trudging down the halls, already not sure of where he was. He followed Nezu here blindly, so he didn't remember the way back to the hero department or even the cafeteria. He only paused once he had come across infirmary by mistake. He was peering inside and saw Aizawa Sensei first, bandaged head to seemingly toe. Midoriya was there too, smiling and talking with Recovery Girl.

The idiot acted as if he wasn't even injured.

"Hah!?" An angry voice groaned as Akagawa felt something knock him back harshly, colliding with his chest. He didn't even hear any footsteps of the person bumping into him.

"Damnit, watch it!" Akagawa groaned, looking up into crimson eyes. He instantly calmed. "Oh, it's you, Blasty."

"Don't talk to me like that," Bakugou demanded. He glanced into the hospital room, his expression remaining angry. He had changed into his school uniform, unlike Akagawa, who still wore his torn and dusty hero costume.

"You really have complete control over your emotions. Or so you'd like everyone to think, right?" Akagawa questioned, noticing how Bakugou seemed to be looking for something.

"What?" Bakugou demanded.

"You're not fooling me," Akagawa said. "Maybe if you didn't hide all of your emotions, you wouldn't lash out or become a hurricane when it all starts pouring out."

"You're one to talk!" Bakugou shouted. "What would you call that fight? You're hiding that you're a villain yourself in order to fulfill your stupid fuckin' desires! You acted crazier than the villains even!"

"I might be crazy, but dont ever call me a fucking villain again." Akagawa snapped. "I thought you were more villain material."

Bakugou glared at Akagawa. "The "number one coolest hero" irritated me. So I'm becoming number one. No matter what I have to destroy in the process."

"Villain materiaaaal." Akagawa sang. He turned to leave, until he paused. "Uh...if I can." Akagawa scratched the back of his neck. "Do you mind escorting me back to the classroom? I, uh, don't know where it is."

"As if I would—" Bakugou stopped himself. "Hey, yeah. I'll escort you back. We need to chat."

"That scares me, but you're my only hope, Blasty," Akagawa said cooly as he followed Bakugou's lead through the hallways. "So, who did you come to see anyway? Did you come to visit Midori? No, that can't be it. Maybe you came to bully him. Or," Akagawa gasped. "Is it possible? Were you looking for me?"

"Shut up, stop speaking." Bakugou demanded. "I'll ask the questions here. That's the only reason why I'm letting you walk beside me right now."

"Then shoot."

"What were you doing in an ambulance? You weren't even injured. Were you even in the infirmary?" Bakugou asked.

"Nope. The rat wanted to speak with me."

"About what?"

"My brother."

"Your brother. This Dracula the villains kept mentioning...is that your brother?" Bakugou asked, not so much as glancing at Akagawa. Akagawa was staring at him though, and he knew that Bakugou knew he was, too.

"Yeah. The villain Dracula is my older brother. Are you surprised? That's why I want the League of Villains destroyed. Every member dead. Every villain facing punishment." Akagawa replied.

"What happened to not wanting to be a hero, huh?"

"Heroes are stupid, but villains are worse. And I'm not a hero. I'm just attending a hero school for self-gain. Nothing more. Call me a vigilante if you have to, but I won't label myself." Akagawa replied.

"Then why did you let that hand guy go? Villains don't do that. Not even vigilantes. Heroes do. Why didn't you kill the bastard on the spot? You had the perfect chance to do that." Bakugou finally looked at Akagawa.

"I enjoy the hunt." Akagawa smiled. "Plus, I needed him alive to he can send my brother a message that I was coming. It's called being smart and playing with your prey."

"It's called feeling wrong for killing someone." Bakugou snapped. "Don't lie to me, Cherryblood. I can see through you just as much as you think you can see through me. You didn't have the guts."

"You wanna see guts? I can show you guts." Akagawa threatened, but before he could do anything, Bakugou slammed his shoulder against the hallway wall with his hand.

"I'm not done. What were you talking about when you said All Might's "successor"?" Akagawa could feel the warmth radiate off the ash blond.

"You know as well as I do that All Might is becoming weaker. And Midori? He's just getting started. Isn't it fitting to call him a successor?" Bakugou gave a final push against the wall and backed up, believing that Akagawa was just being his usual mocking self. "What did you think I meant?"

"Nothing." Bakugou snapped and turned. "Find your own way back to the classroom."

Akagawa sighed and laid his head against the wall. Today had to be the most exhausting and yet exciting day of his entire life. And the fun part was that he was just getting started at this hero school.
