Author's Notes- I don't own Dragon Ball Super. The show and manga are created by Toei Animation and Akira T. Here's a special chapter. This is sort of like a bottle episode, but not. I will be transcending through scene to scene, but not too much. I hope that you like this chapter and follow this story for more. Enjoy!
Trooper's Guide Through Life: Chapter Seven- "What Happens In Space, Stays in Space"
Space, Pride Trooper Ship (Three Hours After Mission)
After taking care of a crisis on a near by planet, Top, Dyspo, and Jiren leave the planet in their ship. In the ship itself, Top is checking on the controls, Dyspo is walking down the hallways, and Jiren is in his room, meditating. While he's meditating, Jiren thinks to the time, where he defended Kari from a drunk Trooper. She and him were in the cafe, when it happened. Kari was talking to him about how to speak up, when the time is right. "Once those words come out, there's not going back to them." said Kari to Jiren, before getting bumped into by a drunk trooper. He said the b-word to Kari in front of Jiren, who saw her fall to the ground. She does get up, not injured, but she does say that he should apologize for what he said to her. Still drunk, the trooper tries to punch her, but Jiren catches the punch in time. He tells him to back off, before pushing him so hard, that he flies backwards to a near by wall, creating a crater. Kari see this, looks at Jiren with a shocked expression, and says that he needs to learn how to control his power around other troopers. With that said, they leave the cafe and the scene turns white. Jiren externally smiles, after that thought was over. He really misses Kari a lot. He wishes that she was here right now on this ship. He should really get to know her more, once her illness heals up. Dyspo comes into Jiren's room, feeling the heat of his aura surrounding the area. "Jiren! Top is calling us for a special meeting!" said Dyspo to Jiren. He hears this, stops glowing red, floats down, and walks out of the door. Once he and Dyspo are in the controls room, Top can tell them the good and bad news.
Top: (Looks at Dyspo and Jiren) Glad that you two are here. I got some bad and good news to tell you. Which one do you want to hear first?
Jiren: Bad news, first.
Top: Fine. The bad news is that we just landed in an asteroid belt, for which is a bad place to put your ship in a middle of space. But...the good news is that we have back up coming for us.
Jiren: Top?
Top: (Looks at Jiren) Yes, Jiren?
Jiren: There's more bad news than that. Isn't there?
Top: (Sighs) Okay. The other bad news is that we ran out of gas for the ship, hence why we're stuck in the middle of an asteroid belt. Help will come to us in a matter of hours. Are there any more questions?
Dyspo: I got one. How the hell did we lose gas for the ship!?
Top: It's complicated, but it doesn't matter. All we have to do is keep our sanity together, until the back up comes to pick us up.
Jiren: So...what should we do for the time being?
Top: Since you need help in your social skills, I was thinking of a few activities that we might do. How about some board games?
Dyspo: I'm in!
Jiren: (closes his eyes) Hm…
Top: Come on! It will just be the three of us and no one else. You need the support for your goals. (Winks at Jiren)
Jiren: (He is right. I need to do this, if I need to be more connected to the team. A few hours won't hurt this moment. What the worst things that it could happen on the ship?) (Opens his eyes and looks at Top) Okay, Top. Let's play.
The three Pride Troopers play some board games to pass the time. A few board games in and the three of them are having a good time. Top is starting to know that Jiren is having a good time with just the two of them. This is an easy step in improving social skills for the strongest member of the group. A few minutes later, and they start to get a bit tired from the various board games played. All three of their stomachs growl, meaning that they need some lunch in their systems. Top tells Jiren and Dyspo to wait here, while he goes into the kitchen area for some food. After he leaves, Dyspo gets the chance to tell Jiren some questions that he never got the chance to say to him. "So, Jiren? How was your parents? Were they warriors or citizens?" said Dyspo. "they were both, actually. My father was a warrior, while my mother was a caretaker. She provides us with food, shelter, and love, while my father took care of the hard fighting. It was nice for them to be taking both jobs to support the family." said Jiren as he faces a near by window, seeing the stars in space. Dyspo seems a bit bummed, after hearing Jiren's backstory back at the tournament. He wants to do something for him. So, he pulls out a few pills out his pocket. "I was going to save this one for Kunshi and me, but since we're going to be on this ship for a few hours, it wouldn't hurt if me, Jiren, and probably Top get to try some pills." are Dyspo's thoughts, before calling Jiren's name. He tells him about the pills. They help with depression, improve happiness, and increase imagination levels. "What you're trying to say is that these pills are...hallucination pills?" said Jiren as he makes a curious expression. "You...could say that, but I would like to call them 'Happy Pills' What do you say, Jiren? Wanna take them?" said Dyspo as he gives Jiren one pill. He is having some second thoughts about it, but intends to try one for himself. He grabs the pill puts it in his mouth and swallows it.
Twenty Minutes Later…
Top: (Comes back to the controls room with a tray full of food) Guys! I'm back from the kitchen area. (Looks around the area) Where are you guys!? Dyspo!? Jiren!?
Dyspo: (Runs through the hallways in super speed) Hahaha! I'm the king of this race course! Yeah!
Top: (Sees Dyspo running towards him) Dyspo! Stop running!
Dyspo: (Bumps into Top and the food) Hehehe! How the hell did this marshmallow get in the way of my finish line!? Get the (Bleep) out of here!
Top: (Gets up, wipes the food off of his body and looks at Dyspo) What's gotten into you!? (Looks at the pills on the ground) Dyspo? Have you taken some hallucination pills that I told you a few times to not take!?
Dyspo: Nope! (Tumbling shakes his head) I took my medication! Now I'm see green skies, purple clouds, and a big o' trophy for me! I'm going to win for the best racer in the track!
Top: Wait! Where's Jiren!? Jiren!
Jiren: (Breaks through a wall, laughs, while walking through the door and sees Top) Hehehe! I taught that bastard what I was made of! Why is there a golden stature of Top in the middle of the area?
Top: (Makes a shocking expression) Not you, Jiren! You took the pills?!
Jiren: Hehehe! I've been waiting to do this to you for a long time for this. (takes off his suit, walks up to Top and twerks in front of him) How do you like me now!?
Dyspo: Hahaha! A twerking beefcake! This dream is the best one I ever had! I don't want this to ever end! (Runs away from the team, down the hallways)
Top: Ugh! Great! It's been a few minutes, and these two are acting like they belong in a pre-K center! I can't believe Jiren would take those pills! What should I do? (Should I snap them out of this or...take the pills myself, so that they won't feel guilty for what they've done?) (Looks at the pills on the floor) Ugh! It's best for me to just join them, instead of stopping them. Besides, it's just the three of us. Nothing is going to happen. (Picks up one pill, puts it in his mouth, and swallows it)
Top takes the pill, so that Jiren and Dyspo won't be guilty in taking them in the first place. He starts to see colors, wavy lines and various other things coming out of the walls. He giggles, looks around the area, liking the changes, and skips his way down the hallways. Over the past four to five hours, Jiren, Top, and Dyspo have a wonderful, trippy time with the hallucination pills. Jiren is dancing around a metal pole, like it's a stripper pole, Dyspo and kissing a pillow, like it's a girlfriend of his and Top is eating the food that was left on the floor, after he accidentally dropped it from earlier. This does on and on, creating some other (bleep) up stuff that the other members wouldn't do together. They start to make "snow angels" from the food and pills on the floor, laughing out loud and having one hell of a time.
Space, Lounge Room (Five Hours Later)
Top: Ugh! (Gets up, rubbing his head) What happened? (Looks at this shirtless body) What!? Why am I naked? Sort of.
Dyspo: (Wakes up on a couch) AGH! That was one hell of a trip! (Looks at Top) Top! Why the hell are you on the floor with no shirt on?
Top: (Looks at a shirtless Dyspo) I was going to say the exact same thing to you. Where's Jiren?
Jiren: (Wakes up, stuck on a wall with duck tape) What? W-what just- (Looks at the team, then his shirtless body and the duck tape) Huh?
Top: (Sighs, while walking to Jiren) I'll get you down from there. (Removes the tape from Jiren's body and moves him down to the floor) Are you okay?
Jiren: (Holds his stomach in pain) Ugh! I don't think so. Did you get the food?
Top: Wait a minute. I think I remember. I saw you and Dyspo running around the place like a bunch of idiots on steroids or hallucination pills. (Makes an angry expression to Dyspo)
Dyspo: Oh! I remember now! I gave myself and Jiren some pills to pass the time more. It was boring to play some board games with just three people on the ship. I think that one pill was enough to make a mess in here.
Jiren: Oh...I remember now. I was...saying some words that I don't even remember saying. What did I say back there? (Looks at Top)
Top: I don't remember what happened. All I saw were colors, mouths getting close to my body, and you and me..."getting dirty with it." That I mean that we were dancing on the floor, getting dirty.
Jiren: Oh. That makes sense to me.
Dyspo: (Grabs his ringing communicator) I got it! (Answers) Hello? General! How long are you going to be? Uh-huh...Okay. I'll tell them. Thanks! (Hangs up and looks at Top and Jiren) General Kasheral says that he's coming in a matter of minutes. We should get cleaned up and ready.
Jiren: Good! I don't want to talk about this anymore. (Rubs his head)
Top: What happens on the ship, stays on the ship. Okay?
Dyspo and Jiren: Okay!
The three leave the lounge room, go to the showers, and clean up the "mess" that they made, while they were drugged with hallucination pills. A few minutes later, Kasheral arrives on the ship, waiting for the two to come out of there. He does see the three come out of the ship, hop onto the ship, and tell him to use the capsule to shrink the ship. He hears this, uses the ray to shrink the first ship into a capsule, making it easier to carry. After that, the four leave the area and head back to Planet Netfiss. Kasheral ask the team, if anything happened, while they were waiting for help. Top would like to tell him about what happened, but did said that he should keep that "moment" to himself, Dyspo, and Jiren. He tells the general that the guys were playing games, while they were waiting for him to come. Dyspo wipes away that nervous sweat drop, while Jiren just closes his eyes in relief. Kasheral buys into the lie and keeps driving the ship to the headquarters.
Planet Netfiss, Pride Trooper's Headquarters (Twenty-One Minutes Later)
Once arriving on the ships area of the headquarters, Kasheral, Top, Dyspo, and Jiren leave the ship, go into the building and see something off. They see cobwebs around the hallways, the doors, and on the walls. Jiren sense something that sets him off, as he sees a wave of spiders coming towards them. He uses his eye glare to push back the spiders back to the corner of the hallways. They later on run out of the hallway, see more cobwebs in the area, and the other Pride Troopers in cocoons. "Kettle! What the hell happened?!" said Kasheral to Kettle. "I was taking care of everything, until...a spider got mutated by the enlarging serum, and-" said Kettle, before Cocotte interrupts him, by saying that his leadership skills got them in trouble. "His orders were stupid and that's how we got in this mess in the first place!" said Cocotte, as she sees more spiders coming towards them. The spiders surround the team, not being able for them to escape. What will happen to them now!? Will they get out of this in time!? Stay tuned for the next chapter, as it will cover what happened to the rest of the Pride Troopers, while Kasheral was out. See you later!
