A scene soon showed a vast landscape of space before it narrowed onto one world in particular.

The world, a truly glorious place. For the very first time, we are going to take a look at this world in depth, and at the species that inhabits the planet, in all corners of the earth….

Out in space, small meteors float in space as they were rotating in the air. But there was something unusual about these meteors…. They were, Alive.

That species is all connected, created by one creature and made out to over 800 discovered creatures, captured and seen in regions around the world.

On the surface of the planet, a glimpse of a small catlike creature floated by the camera, before the scene shows dozens of different creatures in an open field area, all doing different things.

We call these creatures…..Pokemon.

Short for "Pocket Monsters", these wondrous creatures can be found in many different places all over the world. On the land...in the seas...even flying across the skies. These creatures can live just about anywhere.

In a particular City, some of these pokemon were even seen with Humans.

We have developed ways to tame these creatures. People who keep and train pokemon are called Trainers. These trainers use these pokemon to battle or become companions.

However, what you are about to experience today cannot be often seen by becoming trainers. You are going to see Pokemon in their natural habitats. How they live each and everyday in the wild. How they thrive and survive all over this world of ours.

Gather round and look closely. This is the world of pokemon like you've never seen it before.

The scene opens to a large volcanic area where a number large lava ponds were spread out all across.

Volcanoes. Large massive mountains that spew out the molten material of the Earth, which we call lava and magma. Not much life lives close to these dangerous hot spots, save for a few fire type pokemon and those who can take the heat.

Walking across the volcanic area were a number of small lizard-like creatures with flames at the end of their tails as they walked across the land.

Charmander. A fire lizard that makes their homes near these volcanoes. But these little ones are considered the weakest here, making them susceptible to attacks from stronger pokemon.

Emerging from behind a rock was a large pokemon with a duck like bill and a flaming tail.

Like this one. Magmar. A pokemon that usually ends up burning its prey to death. However, that's rarely a concern when its prey is a bunch of small fire lizards.

Magmar laughed as it breathed fire into the air, scaring the Charmander a little as one of them stood up and went to attack Magmar before it smacked the lone Charmander into a lava pond. Magmar was about to advance on the remaining ones before the one it smacked emerged as a redder lizard with a spike behind its head and sharper claws as it pounced on it.

Charmeleon, an evolution of Charmander. By tempering its inner flames, it has evolved and gone against the predator intimidating its herd as it fights to protect them.

Chameleon than charged back onto the fight as it grappled with Magmar.

And the battle is on once again.

Magma pushed Charmeleon back before it blasted a Flamethrower attack at the fire lizard. Charmeleon evaded as it countered with a Slash attack. The battle continued until Magmar decided it had enough and fled from the scene.

The battle has ended with Charmeleon as the victor. Now having established itself as the new leader of the herd, it intends to lead its fellow Charmander to safety.

As the Charmeleon leads its brethren away, the camera now shifts closer to the volcano.

When it comes to pokemon who can survive in this searing environment, not many other pokemon who aren't fire types can live here for extended periods of time. Sometimes though, you can find one. If you know where to look.

In the shadows, there rose a large creature with multiple plates on its body as it let out an earth shaking roar as lava ponds erupted into multiple streams.

Of course, there are more to volcanoes than this.

At the top of this particular volcano, there stood a number of creatures wearing skulls over their heads as large ones with flaming bones danced.

Alolan Marowak. Unlike their Ground Type relatives from Kanto, these variations are more connected to their spiritual Side. it ignites its trusty bone on fire and performs a sacred dance to mourn its fallen comrades. Those who battle it, beware, its flames are cursed, and will inflict upon those hit by it endless physical and mental pain.

The Marowak danced as they performed before a number of little Cubone as some sort of traditional theme played for them.

It looks like these Marowak are honoring their ancestors with a traditional dance.

The Marowak continued to dance in front of the Cubone, as they looked pretty happy and soon started to join in.

As they moved, the herd of Charmander soon reached the top with the Charmeleon having evolved into a large dragon like creature.

And through the multitude of battles on the journey up, Charmeleon has become a Charizard, a pokemon at the epiphany of all fire types. And now...it has reached the top with its herd where they can now live in prosperity until the next time it erupts. However…

As Charizard looked over its herd, it heard a roar as it looked off to a distant volcano where a dog like creature stood as the volcano it stood on erupted behind it.

Charizard now leaves to fight.

Charizard roared as it took off to fight the unknown pokemon.
