Buck and CJ finally got around to hanging out and skating, like the newbie had intrigued the veteran in when he first arrived. They were in the crumbling cityscape, using the rubble as makeshift halfpipes. The experienced skater stood atop some of the rubble, holding his board in one hand while looking down at the ground before him, smirking as he thought about what to do. Without a moment to waste, he placed his board beneath his foot, tilting it forward and allowing it to carry him down the rubble, amazing Buck already. He skated up the other incline of rubble, eventually coming back down with much more momentum. Upon reaching the first incline, the one which Buck was still standing on top of, he flew into the air, doing a full spin before landing perfectly in front of his new pal, who clapped in amazement.

"Wow!" Buck cheered, still slapping his hands together, "That was incredible, CJ!"

"Heh, it wasn't all that great," the skater blushed a little, embarrassed by the cheering, "Just some stuff I've been working on for sometime now."

"Are ya kidding me? I could never do anything that cool, not even in my dreams!"

"Oh yeah? Well, why don't you give it a try before you put yourself down that low."

The boy tossed his board over to Buck, who caught it, staring down at it nervously.

"I dunno if that's a great idea. I mean, I might just end up flopping and breaking it."

"Eh, it's no biggie. I've got a couple of them. Besides, you won't do that bad, I'll be right here watching the whole time."

"If ya say so...I guess I could give it a try."

CJ stepped aside, allowing Buck to come forward to the edge of the rubble with the board in his hands. He looked down in front of him, gulping his fear before allowing himself to put his foot on the board. Slowly, he let himself go down the little heap, but as soon as he reached the middle of the rubble, he put too much pressure on the board, cracking it in half beneath him and slamming his face against the other incline. CJ was shocked, to say the least, and he rushed over to the boy, pulling him up from the ground.

"Yo, dude," the skater said, waving his hand in front of his friend's face, "You good?"

Buck was incredibly dazed, his eyes spinning wildly as he tried to focus.

"Dah," he replied, in a goofy tone, "I'm a skater boy!"

"Huh? Man, you really wiped out good."

"Haha, yer a silly, little breadcrumb!"

"Uh, sure, bro. Let's get you back inside...hopefully Yves doesn't kill me for letting ya eat shit like that."

"Hahaha! You talk like a goose!"

"Yeah, yeah."

CJ found it hard not to laugh, but he carried Buck with him, heading back to the hotel. He did fear what would happen when Yves found out, but maybe the gesture of helping him back would save his butt...or not. It is Yves we're talking about. She can be...cold, at times.
