Death Mask's P.O.V.

4:45 AM~The House of Cancer~ Rosemarie's Room

Sighs.

I knew my student Rosemarie is awake no matter how quiet Rose thinks she is. I have noticed whenever Aphrodite, my lover and best friend, would come over to sleepover. Rose would ask Pope Shion if she could stay in the guest room at Athena's Citadel for a few days.

I just thought Rose could hear us fucking, but I'm not the only one who has noticed how uncomfortable Rose is around my lover and me.

And Rose has been getting up extra early to work out on her own. I have a strong suspicion Rose is hanging out with one of the others or working out with one of the others or the Silvers like herself.

Aphrodite thinks Rose has a crush on me or us. I highly doubt it because Rose swore off being with anyone because of that bastard. I still remember finding her bleeding and beaten half to death by her boyfriend at the time. I would have kicked the bastard's ass, but I had to get Rose to the hospital.

I almost lost Rose. I grew pretty protective and fond of Rose. Aphrodite and Shura were there when I caught up with the son of a bitch, and they had to stop me from killing him, so I told the fucking bastard to leave Greece and never return. Rose was in a coma for almost a year, and I never once left her side. And whenever I did, Shura or Aphrodite was with her.

Sighs.

I heard the door close. I laid there for a few more seconds, finally deciding to follow my little Principessa, and I want to see what she has been up to. I know I shouldn't invade her privacy, but lately, Rose has been tight-lipped about whatever she is hiding. I'm concerned about her.

Sighs.

I tiptoe through the other houses as I possibly could. I reach the exit of Aquarius, and I could see my lover waiting for me. I knew Aphrodite is just as concerned about Rose as I am. I knew the flowers would direct us to wherever Rose is.

We found Rose at a grave. I knew it was her twin brother's grave who had died at birth. I noticed her shoulders shaking with her crying, and it tore at my heart like it always does.

After a few minutes, we watch as she headed towards her "hiding spot" to train. I was a bit surprised to see Shaka and Mū there. I watched as the three do meditation, yoga, and some martial arts, Kenpō, I believe.

Sighs.

At dawn, I watched as I could see my downstair's neighbor Saga and his twin brother Kanon as they came into view. It surprises me more than anything so far. I knew the day would come when Rose would seek out her true Master.

Technically and by the rite of Master and student, Rose is Saga's student. It saddens me more, but the more I watched them, the more I could see Rose is just talking to Saga and Kanon. It still saddens me I might be losing her.

Sighs.

A few weeks later,

I walked into Pisces to visit with my lover and tell him my concerns about Rose. I get to the entrance of Pisces to find Aphrodite and Rose kiss.

I'm furious, to say the least, that I slapped Rose and called her a whore without even thinking. My poor Rose flees from me while Aphrodite glares coldly at me as he takes off after Rose.

Daminit.

I walk back down toward Cancer. As soon as I reached the exit of Cancer, I got punched in the face by a very pissed-off Gemini Saga. Saga didn't hesitate to slam me against the wall and proceed to choke me out with his forearm crushing against my windpipe, but it was Kanon who addressed me with venom in his voice,

"Death Mask, you shouldn't have slapped Rose for following our advice. Rose came to us, and she told us she has a crush on you and Aphrodite. We both advised her to speak with Aphrodite because Rose's afraid to tell you about her feelings, both of you ."

Sighs.

"Rose went to Aphrodite and told him how she felt and her fears of neither of you loving her back. The kiss you walked in on was Aphrodite's doing with a promise he would speak with you this morning. But you foolhardily hurt the very person who has loved you more than herself." Kanon added, shaking his head in fury.

Sighs.

"The only reason why my brother and I don't rip your head off for your stupidity is that Rose is in Pisces crying while Aphrodite is trying to comfort her. Rose, honestly, thinks she's nothing more than a whore to you, and she had failed you as a student."

Sighs.

I'm released from the death grip as the twins left me alone and headed back to Gemini.

Damnit, I'm such an idiot.

Sighs.

I walked into Pisces. I found Rose sitting on the couch with a sad look on her beautiful face. Aphrodite is sitting beside her, trying to comfort her.

The minute Rose sees me. I know the look of apprehension in her brown eyes.

I saw my handprint on her left cheek. I looked away from her and Aphrodite.

I felt someone tug at my hair gently. I turned to see Rose beside me, and I leaned in and kissed her with such tenderness because I was afraid of hurting her any more than I had. Her lips felt soft, and her scent reminded me of snowdrops and lavender. I kiss her left cheek in apology as I knew Aphrodite's watching us with a soft look on his face.

"Ro, I'm so sorry for slapping you. I didn't know you had feelings for myself and Aphrodite," I'm cut off with her hand over my mouth.

I see the shy look and the soft growl from the couch.

We both look over to see Aphrodite with a come-hither look on his face and another growl, which had us looking at each other with smiles.

"Come here, my loves, it was a misunderstanding, and yes, Rose, we're keeping you as ours."

Rose blushes rather beautifully, and I came over to Aphrodite with slow, seductive movement smiling as I leaned over him, waiting for his next move. 'Dite pulled me down into a hot, searing kiss while Rose watches us with a shy expression.

We both look at Rose expectantly, who walks over to us with shyness. I knew she'd never lose as we pulled her down and sandwich her between us. One kiss led to other fun things that night.

Sighs.

The Geminis forgave me when they saw how happy Rose is.

Sighs.

Aphrodite and I love how much she has brought into our relationship.

Cunning little package, isn't she?
