A/N: Well, I had the idea for this in my head for a while now I have to say it was fun to write this. Also, I won't be posting tomorrow or the day after that I need to study for my AP test on the tenth and actually take it so sorry. I hope this is a wonderful peace offering for now. Also, about Willa Being mean she's mean because well... she's a vampire and vampires do have some anger issues (also that's just who she is)

Willa's Point of View

I finally managed to keep myself from thinking of him, and instead started focusing on the paintings and arctecture of this magnificent structure. Will started to chuckle at my obvious enthusiasm. Don't you dare! You're just are entranced by this place as I am. He started pointing out things he liked, and we started talking about everything. It was fun commenting on everything. We stopped in a hallway and continued talking about everything that caught our interest, until a girl about our age. Though probably our age, since she was with us, the first years, screamed at us to be quiet. "Will you please shut! up! some of us are actually trying to think! God!"

Will was close to growling and me to, to be completely honest. Not that the girl knew that. Dad had always said that an active mind should always be exercised, whether being versed in the sciences, literature, or arctecture. I walked over smiling. She obviously didn't know what she was up against. Looking her in the eyes, I refused to back down. "Would you perhaps like to repeat that again? I don't think people from France heard you." She looked enraged, "how dare you?!" I just kept on smiling, still not backing down. She needed to learn this, and she needed to learn this now. Me and Will weren't to be trifled with.

I spoke at barely a whisper, but she caught on the very word, "No how dare you, we were talking across the room. Not bothering you. If you heard anything, you could have at least asked nicely." She looked angrier with each word I spoke, and she desperately tried to make herself stand taller. Still, I could hear her heart rate and smell her. She was afraid, "I- I don't have to do that! especially to you! who do you think you are?!" I tisked, "Wouldn't you like to know?" and walked back over to Will.

The class was silent "hey! I wasn't done talking to you yet!" She tore after me. I looked at Will he was amused. Then I looked back at her and sighed. Still at a whisper, "This is a losing fight. Why can't you see that?" Just as she had started protesting more, a man definitely old walked into the area.

"Okay everyone. You can call me professor dumbledor. I should probably tell you now that if you break the rules, you will lose your house points and if you're good, a professor like myself can reward you points. Please come this way to be sorted." The man who I identified was Aberforth with mom's memories, opened the massive door to the great hall.

The girl just made an aggravated noise. I just gave her a superior look and followed the other students into the great hall. In the middle of the room, was a beat-up hat. The sorting hat, you nervous? 'no' I sent to him. Though I felt otherwise. We were facing what would decide our futures, what friendships, or enemies we might make. He just squeezed my hand, noticing my fear, "alright everyone. I will put this hat on your head, and it will sort you."

The hat seemed to come to life at this, "now, Ariana, Lena" This continued for a few moments "Carson, Ashla" The girl who argued with me in the hall, sat down with the hat on her head. I could understand her smugness Carson was a respected pureblood wizarding house, like house Potter or Black. The hat sat there for a total of fourteen minutes, until it finally said, "Hufflepuff!" the Hufflepuff table started clapping as was customary; if the other sorting's were any indication,

"Longbottom, Cristian" It was the boy from the train. He sat down and I watched with interest as ten seconds later it said, "Gryffindor!" Eventually it was my turn, "Volturi, Willa" I saw through my brothers eyes with satisfaction, as Ashla as I had now dubbed her looked panicked. He then looked back at me to watch me get sorted. The hat was out atop my head and started talking in my mind. It wasn't that surprising to me, since I was used to this with Will.

Oh my, Rebecca potters kid, or should I say kids? Wanting Gryffindor, are you? I was surprised to find the answer was yes. Well, as much as I would love to put you there. You would be much better in another house I believe. "Slytherin!" Slytherin? Slytherin! But that's the opposite of Gryffindor. I wanted to sit next to Cristian, for a reason I couldn't fully understand; but I started walking over to the Slytherin table anyway.

There were claps, some were uncertain; but most were pretty strong. I don't think anyone less then a hybrid would have heard the difference. Sitting down in a spot that could easily fit both me and Will; I watched as his name was called, "Volturi, William!" He sat down with the hat on his head. Five seconds latter "Slytherin!" could be heard from the hat. I clapped hard while he walked over to me and sat down in the spot I picked.

One of the perks of this spot? I could engage in a starting contest with Ashla. Of course, it wasn't much of a staring contest if the other person was avoiding your gaze. I had to say for all her faults, she had a sense of self preservation. More names were called, one of Hermione's kids got into Ravenclaw. While the other got in Gryffindor. Tasha got in Gryffindor, just like matt and finally the last name was called. "Zalgengia, (because why not?) Benjamin" The hat as soon as it touched his head said "Ravenclaw!" for all to hear.

"All right students. I would like to tell you all about changes in staff. We have a special person teaching defense against the dark arts this year. Give it up for Nicolos Flamel!" McGonagall said, clearly excited. Flamel? wasn't he the guy who made the sorcerer's stone? 'Yup' I sent back. The old frail man stood up and waved to the crowd. Some obviously knew what he created and were clapping thoroughly. Though there were a bunch of people who didn't seem to know what he was known for. The first few years in particular, "now continuing on…"
