Hi guys. So this is the last chapter of this story. I hope you guys have enjoyed it. Please keep reviewing if you have anything to say. Thanks for reading. X

Lestrade was sitting in his office. He had quite a nice day, which really meant no interruptions by Sherlock. To be honest everyone had been really quiet today! He had expected at least one of the many people he knew, would at least check on him. Obviously not.

"Sir." Donovan called from the office.

Donovan poked her head around the door. Anderson peered over her shoulder. Could Lestrade not get one day without anyone interrupting it?!

"Yes Sergeant Donovan what is it?" Lestrade sighed not even looking up from his work.

"Me and Anderson just wondered if we could leave early today? We have something to do and it can't wait." Donovan answered, obviously worried about asking.

Lestrade stopped writing in an instance. He dropped his pen on the work and then glared in Donovan's direction. Donovan could tell she had hit a nerve asking that question. Anderson was just relieved that he hadn't asked.

"Go home early?! You're sure you really want to ask me that?" Lestrade repeated just in case they wanted to change their mind.

"Well we've finished our case…" Anderson backed Donovan.

Lestrade raised an eyebrow so Anderson knew not to say anything else unless he didn't want to have a job anymore. Donovan was now on her own if they wanted to leave early.

"Sir it's Friday. Plus we haven't bothered you all day." Donovan smiled sweetly.

"I suppose you haven't. Oh go on then but don't blame me if the boss catches you and sends you back." Lestrade points his pen at the two.

"Thank you sir." Donovan nodded with a smile.

Donovan gave a thumbs up to Anderson as they both left for the evening. Lestrade chuckled as he rolled his eyes. Those two were just so predictable. He just hoped no other cases came up before Monday morning.

Sherlock and Watson were on their way to the station. They were trying to get out of the apartment as Mrs Hudson was on the war path and they hadn't annoyed Lestrade at all today so now was a perfect opportunity. Before they went in however, they saw a familiar car outside. They looked at each other and then approached. Mycroft was doing something on his phone as Sherlock rolled his eyes.

"What are you doing here Mycroft?" Sherlock asked his brother, still figuring out who he could be talking to on the phone.

"I came to see Lestrade. Anything other than that I cannot tell you." Mycroft said proudly.

"No assistant? I thought she followed you everywhere!" Watson jibed.

Mycroft shuffled when Watson had said that. Sherlock shoved Watson in the shoulder to show his appreciation of him saying that. Watson knew Sherlock wouldn't say that verbally so took this even though his shoulder was now really hurting.

"I needed some air and I was in the area." Mycroft said after a silence.

"I'll tell Lestrade you mean that much to him. He'll be thrilled!" Sherlock said slyly.

"I'm hiding from my assistant alright!" Mycroft shouted.

"Well you don't have to shout!" Sherlock smirked.

A crash then suddenly came from behind them. All three of them jumped out of their skins and rushed into the station just to make sure it wasn't someone who was looking for them.

Anderson and Donovan were very surprised as Mycroft, Sherlock and Watson came through the door. Sherlock and Watson were quite frequent to the station but Mycroft had almost never been there before. All three of them sounded out of breath which surprised the both of them as Sherlock and Watson were nearly always running everywhere! Sherlock soon saw the looks they were getting and tried to pull himself together as well as the other two.

"Evening." Sherlock nodded at the two detectives who were keeping back laughter.

"Are we tiring you out or should we put you on police training?" Donovan sniggered.

"Very funny Donovan. We're here to see Inspector Lestrade." Sherlock mumbled.

"What are you two doing anyway? Don't you have cases that need looking at?" Mycroft interjected.

Anderson narrowed his eyes before getting punched in the midsection by Donovan. Mycroft would tell anything bad about them to their boss. She didn't want to risk that.

"Well he's busy and we're about to head out so if you don't mind." Anderson grunted.

A shout from the stairs stopped everyone in their tracks. The Chief inspector was running down the stairs and heading straight towards Anderson and Donovan. Anderson tried to hide behind Watson and Donovan behind Sherlock. Donovan had obviously chosen the better choice but Watson let Anderson hide behind him feeling a little taller.

"Let's go and see Lestrade. Maybe he will give us a hiding place." Donovan whispered to Sherlock before the chief could reach them.

Sherlock nodded once again and headed towards the stairs with Watson, Anderson, Donovan and Mycroft following after him. The chief inspector obviously hadn't seen them and continued to look around the reception for them. Luckily they had got away before they had got a telling off from him.

Lestrade heard running footsteps coming from the stairs. He didn't look up as he could already tell who it was going to be. Anderson and Donovan had obviously bumped into the chief on their way out and now they were going to try and look busy before he could argue. To his surprise however, Sherlock, Watson and Mycroft were also with them. He closed the file he was working on as they piled into the office.

"I'm popular." Lestrade crossed his arms leaning back in his chair, looking at all of them gathered.

"We need to hide for a few minutes. You don't mind do you?" Sherlock said looking out of the door making sure the chief wasn't behind them.

"I don't think.." Lestrade tried to say.

"Good." Sherlock interrupted.

Lestrade moved a little so Anderson and Donovan could join him on his side of the desk. Mycroft and Watson sat on the chairs on the other side of the desk. Mycroft seemed to be ignoring Lestrade which surprised Lestrade but Mycroft hated showing love in front of people.

"So who are you two hiding from?" Lestrade asked Sherlock and Watson knowing who Mycroft was hiding from already.

"Mrs Hudson." Watson said.

"John!" Sherlock hissed.

"She's mad at you again. What have you done this time?" Lestrade smirked.

"We might have accidentally broke her favourite teapot. I mean we didn't mean to but we did." Sherlock shrugged.

"No wonder she's mad at you then!" Lestrade sniggered.

Sherlock rolled his eyes at that response. Lestrade always sided with Mrs Hudson even if Sherlock and Watson were right. Lestrade didn't feel like asking Mycroft as he was ignoring him. He then heard more footsteps as Anderson and Donovan dove for the cupboard. Sherlock and Watson tried to find somewhere to hide but were out of time as the chief wandered through the door.

"Hello sir. Was there something you wanted or just checking everyone's doing things right?" Lestrade questioned trying to keep a smile on his face.

"Don't try me Lestrade. Those two had better be gone when I come back. Not to mention him." The chief pointed towards Mycroft.

"They will be."

"I'm looking for Anderson and Donovan. Have you seen them?" The chief put his hands in his pockets.

"They were at their desks a few minutes ago. They just popped down to the canteen for some dinner." Lestrade lied. He knew he was going to get it in the neck if the chief found out what was really going on but didn't want to get the other two into trouble right now.

"I thought I saw them walking out of the room."

"Must have been mistaken."

The chief had one more look and then agreed with Lestrade. He then left with Lestrade breathing out deeply. Anderson and Donovan slowly got out of the cupboard making sure he was actually gone.

"You'd better get me something from the canteen on Monday." Lestrade sighed at them.

"We will thank you, sir." Donovan patted Lestrade on the back.

Anderson and Donovan then left down the back stairs so that the chief wouldn't see them. Lestrade chuckled whilst shaking his head. Sherlock looked down at his watch obviously bored with having to stay in the office any longer. Watson mouthed an apology at Lestrade. Lestrade was used to it though so mouthed it's fine back.

"We'd better be off inspector. Got to get some kip and all that." Sherlock finally said after getting an intense stare from Watson.

"Not scared Mrs Hudson might kill you then?" Lestrade tapped his pen on the edge of the desk.

"We'll deal with it. If you suddenly get called to Baker Street though later tonight you'll know what's happened." Watson put his coat around himself trying to keep warm.

"I'll send someone else down." Lestrade rolled his eyes.

Sherlock screwed up his nose as a sign of defiance. Lestrade shrugged in his direction. Watson pushed Sherlock out of the door before they started fighting each other. Mycroft was the only one left with Lestrade. As both of them had ignored each other for the whole conversation beforehand this wasn't going to be easy.

"So you're not going to apologise to your assistant and go back then?" Lestrade went back to his work.

"Maybe." Mycroft mumbled.

"So you're not even going to talk to me?"

"Maybe."

Lestrade was getting a little bit annoyed at this point. Mycroft never ignored him, especially when they were alone.

"Well I've got work to do. So if you'll excuse me." Lestrade pointed towards the door.

Mycroft didn't answer. He just opened the door and left. Lestrade was a bit taken aback by this. He hadn't meant it but he was too tired to run after him. Lestrade just got back to work and he would have to speak to him later.
