Chapter 7
Vivi looks over at her guards. "Could you please carry them to the Palace. So our doctors could treat their injuries.
"Yes, Princess Vivi." Said one of the guards.
Zoro cracks open a single eye looking up at Vivi. "Hey be gentle with Luffy. She has a wound on her right side. As well she might be needed to be treated for poisoning." He tells Vivi.
"Aye. You heard him men. Let us hurry to the Palace so we can get her treated quickly." Said Vivi with a soft smile on her lips.
As they round the corner they run into Ace, Shanks, Benn, and Sabo. "Hey where are you taking my sister?" Said Ace and Sabo as one. Both brothers look at each other. "YOU'RE ALIVE!" Screams Ace at his young brother.
"Hey Ace. Could we talk once we are at the Palace?" Question Sabo as his eyes travel over to Luffy.
"Yeah sure." Said Ace as he runs his right hand though his hair.
"We need to hurry Luffy has been poison." Said Vivi looking at the four men standing before her guards.
All their eyes widen. "Then run and if you are unable to run hand her over to me and I will run her there." Said Ace as flames lick around his feet.
"We are able to run." Said the guard carrying Luffy as he takes off down the dirt road leading to the Palace.
"Come on Princess jump on my back and we will meet them there." Said Ace as Vivi gets on his back and he uses his flames to push him down the dirt road quickly to be there once the guard arrives. Sabo, Shanks, and Benn run after the flaming man.
As they make it to the Palace, they find Garp and a cloak man standing before a Royal Palace guard.
"LET ME IN DAMMIT! MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS INSIDE THAT PALACE!" Roars Garp.
"SHUT UP GRANDPA AND FOLLOW US INSIDE. LUFFY MIGHT NEED TO BE TREATED FOR POISONING!" Roars Ace as he carries Vivi up the steps as the others follow behind him.
Garp blinks looking at his grandsons and back to his son. "Come on boy we are wasting time." Said Garp for once calm with worry taking over his body.
Running after the group of people heading into the Palace Garp and Dragon follow after the other guards as they carry the other Strawhat's in their arms. "They all look they have been chewed up and spit out by some demon beast." Said Garp looking to his son.
"That they do. But Luffy looks to have faces a hoard of demons on her own. Her clothing is barely hanging on her body." Said Dragon as once in the man's life he is sorry worry and fear in his cold onyx eyes.
The doctors kick everyone out of the room they are treating the Strawhat's as well as the private room they have Luffy in as they are treating the girl for poison.
Shanks sits against the wall with his head lean back as his eyes are closed. He lets out a sigh. "Benn I really could go for a drink and maybe a smoke right now to ease my nerves." He tells his Vice.
"I know Captain. But it is best to stay and wait of any news of Luffy. For if something.…" Benn is cut off by Shanks.
"I know Benn." Snaps Shanks as he opens his eyes to glare over at his friend. "Its just this waiting that is killing me." He tells him as he lets out another sigh as he hits the back of his head against the stone wall behind him.
Dragon's eyes snap open and look over at Shanks. "It's good you are staying. For if you even thought about taking a step out of this hallway. I would have killed you. For you would have proven to me that my daughter is worth noting to you as the value a drink more." Hisses out Dragon as his stone cold eyes glare down at Shanks.
"I would still kill him." Grumbles Ace. But he looks at Sabo. "Where the fuck have you been Sabo?" He demanded of his brother sitting next to him.
Sabo looks at Ace and smiles softly. "I lost my memory when I was struck with that bastards final attack." He told Ace. "So it isn't like I didn't just run off on you and faked my death. IT was more that I forgot about you two. I am sorry for leaving you to raise Luffy on your own." He tells his brother and best friend.
Ace let's out a sigh as he can feel all the eyes on him now. He raises his right hand up to his messy raven locks and runs his fingers thought it once more. "I swear between you and Luffy I am going to become as gray as Gramps here." He says pointing at Garp whose hair is now all gray.
"Shut up brat. I am a young 77 years old. I do not plan on dying until you three brats give me grandkids." Garp chuckles looking at his two paling grandsons sitting next to him.
"Well fat chance on that Gramps. I don't think I'll be settling down anytime soon." Said Ace with a large cocky smirk.
"I am too busy to find a girlfriend or to even think about getting married and have a family." Said Sabo turning his head away from the old man as he has a slight blush on his cheeks.
"What about your Partner Koala?" Question Dragon looking down at his second in command.
Sabo blushes brightly. "N-no….She is just a friend and my partner on missions." He tells Dragon looking away from his boss and adopted father figure.
Now Ace is smirking looking down at Sabo. "Soo…Whose Koala?" He questions in a sing song voice.
"Just a friend. We where the youngest ones in the Revolutionary Army and we got paired up together a lot." Said Sabo glaring at Ace as he fights off his blush.
"Sure." Mocks Ace with a large grin on his face.
Sabo smirks looking over Ace. "So whose the lucky girl that left that hickey on your neck?" He questions with his own mocking tone and shit eating grin on his face.
Ace turns bright red as he moves his left hand up to his neck to cover the mark from the others with it. "I got it in a fight." He tells him with a slight stutter in his voice as he fights his own blush now.
Yeah, sure and Shanks isn't going to marry our sister." Sabo shot back as now Ace turn and glares at the crimson hair man sitting on the ground before the door that hides Luffy away from them.
"Over my dead body." Hisses out Ace glaring at the man whose just blinking looking at him.
Before Shanks could even think about opening his mouth to fight back with Ace the door to Luffy's private room opens and Vivi steps out with the doctor.
"How is she?" Question Shanks forgetting all about Ace and the others. His main focus is Luffy and will always be the raven hair beauty.
"She is fine. It appears she has already been given the antidot for the poison and all she needs now is sleep and to eat to replace all the calories she burnt fighting Crocodile. We have treated all her wounds as well as any burn marks on her body. We are now going to move her into the room with her crewmates." Said an elderly looking doctor.
"I'm glad to hear that." Says Shanks with another sigh. Man I have been sighing a lot since getting here. She mused to himself.
Just then two nurses come rolling Luffy out of the room. Shanks frowns seeing the girl covered in bandages from head to toe. They move around everyone as Vivi opens the door to the other room holding her crew and follows the two nurses into the room to aid in moving Luffy over to her new bed.

The men all stand up and follow in after the Nurses. Dragon and Garp taking a chair next to the girl's bed as Ace and Sabo sit at the foot of her bed. Shanks just sighs once more and sits against the wall once more to watch his Raven hair Princess sleep for now. Benn just takes his spot next to his Captain and pulls out a book he had barrowed from Vivi to read until the crew awakes and when Luffy finally awakes herself.
It took two days for the first member of the crew to awake and that is Zoro as he sits up looking around the room and glares at the elderly man wearing a Marine Jacket. "How are you and what are you doing next to my Captain?" He growls out as he grabs for his three swords ready to fight the man right next to his bed.
Garp's head snaps over to the green hair young man right behind him. He grins. "I am watching over my Granddaughter." He tells Zoro with a booming voice.
Garp's voice makes the other members of the crew to stir and awake as well. Sanji pushes himself of his bed and is standing next to Zoro's bed as said young man is now getting to his feet.
Zoro narrows his eyes. "How do I know you are telling the truth about being her grandfather?" He questions the man.
Chuckling can be heard from the foot of Luffy's bed as Ace and blonde hair man's heads shoot up. "He isn't lying. For he and Luffy both suck at it. He is telling the truth. He is our grandfather." Says Ace as he pushes himself up into sit up better and rest his chin on Luffy's bed.
Both men relax as they listen to Ace. "alright we trust you Ace. But Ace whose the guy next to you?" Question Zoro as he is taking charge of everyone thing going in the room as both Chopper and Usopp shiver together scared of the other men in the room.
Ace grins. "This is our other brother Sabo. Who we thought was dead for the past nine years." HE tells the others.
A gasp escapes Nami's lips. "How many more siblings do you three have?" She question as he doesn't know if she could take more surprises.
Sabo blinks at her. "It's just the three of us. But we can always ask Dragon though as he is her father." He tells them as all eyes are now on the man wearing a cloak watching the girl sleep as her chest slowly rises as she slowly breaths.
"I only have one child. But I do not know about her mother. For she divorced me shortly after we sent Luffy off to live with my father." Said Dragon never looking up at his daughter's crew.
Everyone just slowly nod their head to the man's words.
"I told you she was going to leave your annoying ass." Said Garp with a booming laughter.
Dragon looks up and glares at his father. "Shut up. You have no room to talk yourself." He growls out.
"Hey. Your mom didn't divorce me. She just as driven as I am in her own work." Said Garp annoyed with his son.
"Hey enough guys. Let Luffy sleep." Says Shanks with annoyance in his voice.
Now everyone is looking at him. They had forgotten about the crimson hair man who sat there quietly.
Zoro lets out a sigh. As he runs his left hand though his green locks. "He is right and right now we all could us a bath for everyone smells." As he says that he shots a glare at Sanji.
"Shut up Mosshead." Growls out Sanji as Vivi enters the room shock to see everyone up. Well everyone but Luffy. "Good Morning everyone. I just came to check up on everyone." She tells them with a friendly smile on her face.
"Morning Vivi-chan. Could you point us to the bathroom for us all to get cleaned up?" Question Sanji as he spun around on his heel and bowing to the princess standing before her.
"Ah…Yes. I shall show you to the bath house and I'll have the maids bring you all fresh clothing." Said Vivi smiling as she pulls her hand away from the man before her.
"Thank you, my sweet princess." Said Sanji with hearts still in her eyes.
All the men siting around Luffy just sweat drops at the cook's shameless flirting with the Countries Princess.
"Would you like to freshen up as well?" Question Vivi as she looks over to Luffy's family and fiancé and his Vice.
"Yes, a nice soak in a warm bath sounds nice. These old bones are not what they used to be." Said Garp standing up sending everyone glares not to fight the Princess about not wanting a bath.
"Alright. The Marines have brought you some fresh clothing Garp-san." Said Vivi with a smile. "As well I shall stay here with Luffy, so no one has to worry about her." She added putting everyone at ease.
Week later
Luffy slowly flutter's her eyes open looking at everyone. First person is her father than her grandfather. With a yawn she speaks. "Morning." She tells them in a whisper as Chopper is at her side pushing Garp out of his way with a glass of water in his hooves. "Here drink some water. You have been asleep for a week." Chopper tells her.
Luffy nods her head as she takes the glass of water slowly drinking it. So she wouldn't choke on the water.
After she finishes her water her eyes widen with horror. "Your telling me I have missed 35 meals?" She question Chopper with shock lacing her voice.
Zoro chuckles. "How do you get 35 out of seven days?" He question his silly captain.
She smiles widely at Zoro. "Because I have five meals a day. Even if two of them are just snacks." She tells him with a giggle. "SANJI FOOOD!" She yells to her ship's chef.
Sanji slams the door to their room open with angry on his face. "NO! IF YOU EAT ANYTHING YOU WILL BE HAVING BROTH FOR YOU HAVEN'T EATEN FOR SO LONG!" He roars at her with hearts in his eyes.
"Blah! You suck Sanji." Said Luffy sticking her tongue out at the love stricken man standing at the door panting as he had rushed from the kitchen to his Captain's yelling.
"I do not care Luffy-swan." Said Sanji lighting a cigarette with his golden lighter.
Ace and Sabo look at each other and began laughing their asses off at their baby sister.
Luffy looks at her two brothers and glares at them. "Shut up Ace and Sabo. You both suck as well." She tells them as she pouts looking over at Zoro for help. But her head snaps back at her blonde hair brother sitting at the foot of her bed. "SABO!?" She cries as she flies out of her bed and tackles her brother to the stone floor as he slams into Ace who was trying to get out of the way.
Sabo wraps his arms around his baby sister. "Shh…It's okay Lu…I am here and back…" He tells her as he pulls her back and smiles down at her. "I'm sorry for not coming sooner." He tells her as he pets her head as Luffy cries into his chest.
Zoro glares over at Sanji. "Go and get her something to snack on. Something light and not broth for she will throw it back at you. Or I would do it myself." He tells Sanji who just glares at him and spins on his heel to do as he was told as he knew Garp, or Ace would go after him if he doesn't.
"I've…missed…you…SABO!" Luffy sobs out as she bares her face into his white dress shirt.
Shanks lets out a sigh as he wish he could be the one holding her now. But knew he needs to stay still and quiet until she notices him. For she needs this moment with her brother who she believe that died all those years ago by the hands of one of those bastard dragons.
After awhile Luffy stopped crying. She looks up at her brother with a soft smile on her face. "Bastard. I'm going to kick your ass once I am all better." She tells him with a large grin on her face.
Sabo chuckles. "I know. Ace and I destroyed the Palace garden last night. For he owed me an ass whipping for being alive so long." He said looking over at their older brother. Who just grinned at them both holding up his right hand making a peace sign.
"Damn right and I would do it again." Said Ace as he just keeps his grin on his face.
Luffy just giggles looking around who is all in her room as she pales seeing Garp. "Ah…Grandpa. I'm sorry I ran away from you." She said as she curls more into Sabo's body.
Garp just smirks. "That is alright brat. You wouldn't make it as a Marine. We all know you would have ran away the first change you got." Said Garp with a booming laugh.
As her eyes move around some more, she sees her dad. "Hey dad." She said with a soft smile on her face.
Dragon blinks looking at her. "I guess my father told you about me?" He question her.
"Nope. Mom sent me a letter before I left Dawn Island and it had a picture of you both. And she told me about you both and how she owes you an ass whipping." Said Luffy with a giggle as he pales himself.
"I see. Yes, I left you with my father when you we're about 2 years old. For you are endanger living with us. For you were almost kidnapped once by one of Big Mom's son's. After that happen, we both knew it wouldn't be wise to keep you with us. So I made the hardest chose of my life and called my father to take you into his protection." Said Dragon as he looks down at his hands and back up, but his eyes pass over his daughter's head and glares at the crimson hair man sitting behind her.
Luffy noticing where her father is looking, she looks over Sabo's neck to see Shanks. A large smile graces her lips as she kicks off of Sabo kicking him in the stomach. Poor blonde falls over making a face from how hard his baby sister had kicked him in the stomach and had stepped on what makes him a man.
Ace just breaks out laughing at what Luffy had done to their brother until she sees where she is running to. He frowns as Luffy jumps into Shanks's lap as he loses his breath from her slamming into him. He wraps his single arm around her body. "Hey Lu." Shanks whispers into her right ear as she giggles.
She looks up at him with a bright smile on her face. "Hey Shanks. I have missed you these passed couple of months." She tells him.
Shanks grins. "I have been missing since I left you in Loguetown. If I were able too, I would have kidnapped you. But I know Zoro would have sliced my ship to pieces to get his Captain back and would try to kill me for kidnapping his little sister." He tells her grinning.
Luffy hums and looks over her shoulder towards Zoro who is just grinning as he clicks his white sword open. Even Shanks looks over at the green hair man as he can see a three headed demon behind him as a dark aura comes off of him in waves. "Yeah, he would have and wouldn't have cared either. As long as he got me back on our ship." She said giggling.
Both Ace and Sabo move over towards Zoro and claps their hands on his shoulders. "Good man. We know we can trust our trouble making little sister in your hands." They said as one.
"Swear to God you two are freaking twins." Said Luffy glaring at her two brothers as she stops and blinks. "Hey, Sabo have you ever thought about dyeing your hair black." She told her brother.
"Nope. I like my blonde locks." Said Sabo snickering at them.
Then she looks over at Ace. "How about you Ace. Have you ever thought about bleaching your hair and dye it blonde?" She questions their older brother.
Ace hums. "No I haven't thought about it. But do you really think I would look good as a blonde though?" He questions looking at Nami who is now standing in the open doorway with Vivi.
Nami grins at him. "I'm not sure. But we can try it out." She said giggling.
Ace and Sabo both pale as Zoro comes to their aid. "We can try wigs on them and see what they look like." Said Zoro with a sigh.
Nami pouts sticking her tongue out at the swordsmen. "Meanie your no fun." She tells him pouting.
"I do have wigs of those colors in my room. If you wish to try them." Said Vivi.
Luffy bouncing on Shanks lap grins. As Shanks pales as Dragon and Garp glare at him. 'Keep myself calm. Don't allow her bouncing to effect me.' He mentally crying to himself. "Hey Lu let's go check out these wigs and see how your brothers would look with different color hair." He tells her.
Luffy's head snaps back towards Shanks and grins up at him. "Sure that would be fun and maybe I can see what I would look like as a blonde as well." She told him grinning.
Luffy jumps up from where she sat on Shanks. Poor Shanks took several deep and calming breaths and is sadly missing the girl's warms against his body. He pushes himself up as he uses his single arm dusting himself off.
"Come on Shanks." She whines at him from the doorway.
He smiles at her. "I'm coming Lu-chan. I'm coming." Shanks told her with a chuckle as he moves across the room to where she awaits him. She quickly takes his hand and drags him off as a killer aura is rolling off of Dragon and Garp glaring at him.
A chill runs down Shanks spine as they now stood before the open door of Vivi's room where Ace and Sabo are goofing around as Sabo is wearing a red wig as Ace is wearing an ugly orange wig. "Hey wait for me." Cries Luffy as she jumps into the room placing a baby blue wig on her head over her raven locks.
Next time we have Shanks and Luffy talk about their up and coming wedding and Garp and Dragon trying to kill Shanks with their aura alone.
