Day #7: Secrets
Chat was good in many things: Saving Paris, being hilarious, pretending to be the good kid his father wants. However, no one is perfect. And his weakness was keeping his mouth shut when it comes to not telling something. That's right, Chat Noir couldn't keep a secret to save his life.
And how has he been able to maintain his hero identity? Not even he knew.
But when it came to feelings? Oh man, he was a freaking mess. It was like all his emotions could just blossom and slip through his mouth without any concern. And that was kinda a big problem. I mean, when he fell in love with his lady he just couldn't stop flirting and projecting his love in a very intense way. The shame he feels on himself when he remembers it.
Now he is a new cat and after some rough months of getting over his lady, he just fell all over again in the tremulous path of love. With the little exception that he has already learned from his mistakes and is trying to be more subtle about it, so his princess doesn't figure it out.
Yup, Chat Noir's new love interest is Marinette Dupain-Cheng. That should go to the headline of the newspaper! Or well, for safety reasons maybe not.
Long story short, realizing Ladybug isn't the only person in the world lets him realize how charming Marinette is. Then it was only left some night visits, class interactions, and a couple of too intimate moments, and Bam! Now we're here with him being a flushing mess. Or just a general mess.
It was too difficult for him! He'll see her all day in class, being cute and clumsy. But also in the night being playful and fascinating. How can he not say a word about it?
And yeah, maybe he'll flirt some about and then while being in the hero suit. It wasn't quite close to what he wanted to express nonetheless. He'll just try to check the area, see if he has some kind of opportunity and stuff like that.
"Hey, kitty, Earth to Chat Noir?" He heard the sweet voice he loves calling him. And the boy becomes aware of his surroundings again. Nothing new, the same pink room he takes as a safe place and his princess standing in front of his face trying to get his attention.
Welp, that closeness was new, and man, he did enjoy it. A little blush appeared in his cheeks after a pair of blinks and the playful smile of Marinette, who just stood up.
"I baked cookies for you, would you want some?" She asked, so sweet and caring and loveable.
"Yes, please. I love you."
"What?"
"No! I- I mean— Fuck."
