Eren wakes up to see the morning sky. He sits up to see Falco looking at him with a smile.
"good morning Mr Yeager" he says.
"good morning Falco," Eren says with a low voice.
"here eat something." He offers a candy bar.
"no I don't want to eat," Eren says.
"please you haven't eaten anything for days."
"no, I don't want to eat anything."
"Okay then shall we leave, I am now bored of this place."
"yes."
They both stand as gabi comes, she tries not to make eye contact with him.
Falco transforms into his jaw titan as they took off.
After few hours they reach paradis. They land at the now destroyed port as two soldiers look at them.
"what the hell." One of them exclaims as the titan lands. Gabi gets down as the soldier looks at her.
"isn't she that girl who killed Sasha?" One of them says.
"yes, she is." the other one says in anger as he points his rifle towards her.
"Hey, wait." She says.
"raise your hand, brat."
"point your gun down," Eren says as he stands behind her.
"Eren Yeager." He says in disbelief. He points his rifle down as both of them run towards him.
"Sir, you came back. That means." He turns to his partner. "rumbling succeded. We are safe. WE WON."
They both cheered as they turn to eren again ignoring gabi and Falco who just came out of his titan.
"We are going to declare it to the whole island, our saviour has returned."
"fine, but first tell Historia to come. And yeah tell her to bring two carriages." Eren says.
"hey, you go and tell everyone, I will remain here."
"Okay."
One of them leaves as the other one escort trio in an undamaged building.
"Sir, pardon me, but what we will do with these two." The soldier says pointing at the kids.
"They will live here, they are one of us now," Eren says.
"But sir.."
"This is my wish."
"yes sir." The soldier salutes.
A few hours later two carriages arrive with at least hundreds of people both in uniform and civilians.
Historia and a royal guard come to them as people start to chant slogans.
"Eren," Historia says as she holds his hands.
"hey, Historia." He says. "I think, I only called two carriages, not a huge group."
"huge group!" the guard says. "sir, even more, are coming. That idiot told everyone in the town square. Everyone is going nuts."
"then we must leave," Eren says as he stands. "I will go alone in one carriage, you two take these two. They might need your help."
"Okay," she says.
As he reaches the door he turns back. "Historia, a minute please."
"yes." She says as she comes close to him.
"well, you know what that girl did."
"yes." She says.
"she fears that she might never be able to live without guilt. Please make sure they both live with braus family. Only I know how it is to live with the guilt. Maybe she won't if she lives there." He looks at them as they talk to the guard.
"I promise, eren. You just take care of yourself."
Eren comes out as the crowd, now in thousands start to chant in unison, "devote your hearts."
Eren gets on a carriage as suddenly he hears, "Mr Yeager."
He turns to see Falco running towards him.
"Mr Yeager." He says panting.
"what happened."
"here, your scarf." He gives the scarf to him.
"no, you keep it." He returns it back.
"But.."
"I don't deserve it." He kneels down on one knee. "just promise me you both would live the life you want."
Falco nod.
"goodbye, Falco," Eren says as he boards the carriage. It leaves as the crowd start to follow it.
After 2-3 hours, the group reaches singhashina. People were celebrating on the streets.
"I think a bigger feast is coming," Gabi says.
"I heard it will be a week-long celebration. Do you know what that means your majesty." the guard turns to Historia.
"let me guess more work for MPs, right Joel," Historia says.
"as large as the colossal titan." He laughs.
Both kids look down in sadness on hearing this remembering, Armin.
"so where you are going," Historia ask them.
"Mr Braus's house. Near draper." Falco says.
"look I know he will take you in. but in case something else happens I am happy to bring you to the orphanage." She says with a smile.
"yeah." She says.
The carriage continues moving with more people on the streets congratulating each other on their great victory.
In the afternoon they reach Mr braus house. All four get down from the carriage.
"you should buy an automobile, your majesty. This carriage is outdated." Gabi says.
"thank you gabi. We will think about it." She says.
"do we even have the technology to build one," Joel says.
"we may ask the volunteers." She says. "you remain here. I will take them inside."
"ok."
The three of them walks to the door. She knocks on the door.
"coming." They hear a voice inside.
The door opens as kaya comes out. "gabi, Falco." she says as she looks at Historia. "your majesty."
"Hello, kaya. Can we come inside?"
"of course your majesty." She says as they all came inside.
"ben, mia.", three of them look as Mr braus stand from his chair. He walks towards them as Mrs braus comes out from a room.
"Mr braus, I want to talk to you alone," Historia says as she looks at kaya. "I guess both of them are tired. They came back all the way from Marley."
"kaya take ben and mia to their room." Mrs braus said.
"yes, Mrs braus. Come you both." Kaya says as she takes them away.
"here, your majesty." Mr braus offer a chair.
Historia sits down as Mr braus sits opposite her and Mrs braus stand behind.
"your majesty, do you want some tea."
"no. thank you. And please call me Historia, I was your daughter's batchmate and comrade. I am like your daughter right."
"no, you are the queen, we are your subjects. We cant call you by name."
"fine, I just wanted to tell you.." her face is suddenly covered by sadness. "well those two's parents are dead. They were turned into titans. In short, they are orphans now."
"no," he says in shock as Mrs braus covers her mouth with her hand.
"I appreciate you took orphans in. fed and sheltered them. I am not forcing you. If you cant take them, I will put them in the orphanage."
"we would love to take them." He says with a smile.
"thank you Mr braus. I appreciate your kindness."
She stands up.
"I would like to meet them before leaving."
Both kids enter the room with kaya.
"where did you went," Kaya asked.
"we went to Marley to stop the rumbling," Falco said.
"why you came here with the queen." She asks.
"well, our parents.." he suddenly stops as tears come from his eyes. She looks behind to see gabi wiping hers.
"i-I am sorry. I didn't mean.."
"no, it's fine," Gabi says.
"I know how it is to lose your parents." Kaya said as she put her hand on gabi's shoulder. "where are the others, Mr Arlet, miss Mikasa."
"they died." Falco wipes his tears. "we came with Mr Yeagar."
"you came with him." She says as they suddenly heard "ben, mia, kaya come here."
The trio comes outside as Historia turn towards them.
"Falco, gabi I talked to Mr braus. You would live here. Are you fine with it?"
"Yes, your majesty," Falco said.
"good." She smiles as she turns to Mr braus. "now I must leave."
"I will leave you to the gate." He says.
"no, I will go by myself. Thank you Mr braus."
Historia goes out as Mr braus turn to them.
"Welcome to the family, ben and mia." He says with a smile.
"you both now go, fresh up and rest for some time, ok."
"yes, Mrs Braus." Falco says as they go back to their room.
Historia comes back to the carriage.
"so how it went," Joel asked.
"The matter is solved."
"ok. Next stop Mitras."
After few hours they reach Mitras. People crowded outside the royal palace. With some difficulty, they manage to enter.
"I think, your majesty we should speed up that railway project, moving by carriage is hectic now," he says.
"I guess those marleyian engineers will no longer cooperate after what we did," Historia says.
suddenly some in-crowd start to push the gate.
"well, you go inside. I will stay here to manage the crowd," he says.
Historia went inside as a servant came.
"where is eren?" She asks.
"sir is in the guest room." The servent answer.
"thank you." She says as she goes toward the guest room as she sees two guards. They bow as they saw her.
"How is he?" she asked.
"sir is fine, he was waiting to meet you."
"ok." She says as she enters the room.
Eren was laying on a bed, wearing a simple t-shirt and pant.
"eren." She says as he sits up.
"Historia." He says.
"so how are you."
"I am fine. What about those two."
"they are fine. Mr braus accepted them."
He sighs in relief as Historia continued.
"where are the others."
Eren faces turn to sadness as he says, "I had to kill them. I think captain survived though."
Historia looks down as she continued.
"what about the rumbling."
"it succeded I at least killed 97% of humanity. I stomped all lands except Hizuru and some mountain dwellers. I just crippled them enough so that they don't become a threat in near future."
"I think kiyomi would be glad."
"the island is safe. Remnants of humanity can't even dream to attack Paradis."
"I still think there could have been another way."
"if there would have been, I would have taken that."
Historia holds his hand.
"How is your child?"
"she is fine. I named her Ymir."
"where is she?"
"she is not here, she is with her father. Should I bring her?"
"no, it's fine." He looks at her, "Historia, I have decided to end the titans, our people should no longer carry this curse. I will use the founder one last time."
"that is good."
Eren turns to see a pen and some sheets near him.
"Historia, I am hungry. Can you bring something to eat?" He says with a smile.
"yes, I am bringing food. Okay."
"yeah."
She gets up and leaves.
"I wish, you were present here, captain," Eren says as he grabs pen and paper and writes on it. He then put the pen back and hold the paper tightly as he lies down. His eyes turn purple as he closes them.
"Mikasa, Armin, I am coming." He says with a smile as yellow sparks generate around his body.
Gabi sits on a chair looking at the scenery outside. She then turns to see Falco sleeping peacefully.
She sits next to him, looking at his peaceful face as suddenly someone knocks at the door.
"come in," she says as Mrs braus enter.
"mia are you fine?" Mrs braus says.
"yes, I am. Well, my real name is gabi and his name is Falco."
"ok, gabi." she smiles.
"also he is not my brother." She says as she stands up, "Mrs braus thank you, for letting us in. even after.."
"There is no need, we forgive you."
"But I can't forgive myself. There is no fault of him, I was the one who shot her."
"gabi." She holds her both shoulder. "tell me, when they attacked Marley, who did Sasha killed."
"Those two were Marleyian guards, even when the whole world hated us Eldians, they made us friends. They never treated us badly. They even stopped me from going to warzone before.." she chokes.
"When I send Sasha to survey corps, I knew any day, the message of her death would come. I just regret she had to kill humans. If she would have been alive she would tell the same."
She smiles.
"ok, Mrs braus, I will try to forgive myself."
"that's my girl. Now rest I will call you as soon as the food is ready."
"Okay, Mrs braus."
She leaves as gabi sit back on her chair.
'I will try, Reiner she thought.
Suddenly current runs through her body as Falco wakes up.
"wha-what happened."
"I don't know," Gabi says.
Historia startles as she gets the shock. One of the servants carrying soup asked her "did you felt that your majesty."
"yeah." She says, "hurry up."
They speed up their pace, they reach as she found guards who were in confusion.
"Your majesty, did you get the same shock."
"yeah, open the door."
The guard opens the door as she enters.
She looks to find eren sleeping peacefully. She takes the bowl from the servent as she walks towards him.
"you ended the titans right. Here is your soup."
She tries to wake him up.
"eren. Eren. Eren. EREN. SOMEBODY HELP ME."
4 hours later
Both kids come down as the whole family was at the table. They both sit down as Mrs braus serve them stew.
"thank you Mrs braus." They both said as they started eating.
"did you two got the feeling like you get shocked?" Kaya asks gabi.
"Yeah. I don't know why." Says gabi.
"anyways tomorrow is important." Mr braus says smiling. "we will first buy new clothes for you both. Then we will go to tour anywhere you want to. Any ideas."
"well, we were told there was a giant forest, of the size of titans," Gabi says.
"Okay, we all will go there."
Suddenly someone knocks on the door.
"who is it at this time." Mr braus say as he opens the door.
"braus." The man said panting.
"what happened Nikoli."
"did you heard the news? Eren Yeager."
"Eren what,"
"might be he is officially god of paradis." Gabi says to kaya.
"Gabi," Falco says.
"Nikoli tell me."
"Eren Yeager is dead. They declared him dead, they say he died when everyone got that shock."
Pin drop silence comes as gabi drops her spoon in shock. Only two words ring in Falco's mind "goodbye Falco."
