Acnologia the Daddy Dragon Slayer
Chapter 7: S-Class Trials
Laxus made it his soul mission to make sure that Lucy and Bickslow spent less and less time together which did not go unnoticed by the rest of his team and Lucy's friends, which amused Acnologia to no end, especially when Laxus found out that the pair had gone on a job together he was furious with his team mate but not his cousin never his cousin, it took Makarov and Freed to calm him down but that didn't work so instead Acnologia just simply knocked him straight out which amused the other male dragon slayers that were in the guild hall.
A couple of months after the mission it was time to choose the candidates for the upcoming S-Class trials. Makarov had thought long and hard about who he was going to choose, he was going to choose 6 candidates for the S-Class trials those would include his two grandchildren, Erza, Mira, Cana and Freed. 2 of the candidates would make it to S-Class. The twist would be that the couple that would win the trails would both be made S-Class mages.
Makarov had decided who the teams would be.
It goes as followed:
Lucy and Cana
Laxus and Freed
Erza and Mira
It was the day of the announcement for who would be qualifying for the S-Class exams that happen every year. All of Fairy Tail had gathered for this announcement (apart from Acnologia who was not in the least interested about the s-class exams).
"Listens up Brats, I have decided who will be taking part in the S-Class exams and they are as followed, Lucy Heartfilia, Cana Alberona, Erza Scarlet, Mirajane Strauss, Freed Justine and lastly Laxus Dreyar. There is a twist this year whatever couple wins both will be made S-Class, the couples are Lucy and Cana, Laxus and Freed and Erza and Mira. Good luck to all who have been chosen to participate this year." Master Makarov said to the entire guild.
Time skip to 2 weeks later.
It was the day of the S-Class exams. All those who are participating have to meet the master at a clearing in the woods not far from where the Fairy Tail guild is. The s-class exam is a series of tasks to determine who will come out as s-class mages.
The first task was to defeat a small group of bandits (which are made from magic just for some of the s-class trials). This was easy for Mira, Erza and Laxus that was until the power of the bandits doubled. Then it easily wiped-out Lucy, Cana, Freed and almost knocked out Laxus. It did not seem to affect Mira and Erza as they carried on.
Erza and Mira won the first round with Laxus and Freed coming second ad then Cana and Lucy coming last.
Cana and Lucy would not be competing in the second task which was a battle between those who remained.
Makarov called the next round to start with Lucy and Cana watching as Freed and Laxus were being completely and utterly eaten by Mira and Erza who had decided that they would work together to take down Laxus and Freed.
The battle did not last long as soon Mira and Erza were named the victors of the battle.
Laxus sulked for a week after the s-class trails after having lost to Erza and Mira. It made him feel useless and that h would be made fun of by his father.
But his mind was still occupied with trying to keep Bickslow away from his cousin Lucy.
Everything for al of them was about to change as a massive secret was about to be announced. This would shock the whole guild.
