Part Seven: The First Night
The lust cooled off on the drive over. Kelly was glad for the reprieve and the chance to get her mind back before they got there. She was excited and eager; she didn't want to rush and miss anything. She had waited too long to rush this with Jennifer, she planned on savoring this, savoring her.
Kelly had been over to Jennifer's apartment many times over the last six months, though this time was different. After Jennifer parked, she leaned over and kissed Kelly again sparking another long make-out session in the front seat of her car. When they finally exited the vehicle, they held hands giggling all the way to the elevator. They kissed during the ride up while chatting softly.
"You kiss like you dance," Kelly said with a mischievous smile. "With purpose, skill and determination." She burst out giggling. Jennifer laughed, kissing her again, she showed Kelly her skill and determination.
They made it to Jennifer's door, she opened it and stepped in. Kelly was a step behind her, and she made a beeline for Daisy, Jennifer's light gray bulldog who was wagging her tail and making "WooWoo" noises from her cage.
"Hi Daisy! Hi! Are you ready to come out for a bit? Are you ready?" Kelly walked over to the crate and let Daisy out and the dog bolted out lunging at Kelly to bath the blonde in kisses and affection then bolted to her owner to bath Jennifer in kisses and love. Kelly laughed with joy watching the dog merrily jump around happy to see her owner so soon.
Daisy began to dance by the door announcing her need to pee. Kelly and Jennifer looked at each other with a smile, they laughed.
"Do you mind?" Jennifer asked.
"Of course not, Daisy should come first. What's a short walk? Can I come with you two?"
"Really? No one ever wants to come with us on our walks, especially the late-night walks," Jennifer commented with a surprised expression.
"And miss out on the best company ever? Those women were crazy to miss out on such a great time," Kelly said with a big smile that brought out a similar one in Jennifer.
"Let me grab Daisy's stuff."
Soon Daisy was harnessed up and ready for her walk. They took the elevator down then made their way out of the building making a wide loop around the block before heading back. Kelly and Jennifer talked about nothing and everything on that short walk. They focused on the dog, on the night and on the moment. It was the most relaxed they had ever been with anyone ever.
When they returned to Jennifer's apartment it was late. Jennifer put Daisy to bed in her crate then offered her hand to Kelly. They walked together to the bedroom then as they began to undress Jennifer paused and turned to Kelly.
"Would it be weird if we didn't do anything tonight?"
"No. Would you like to wait until later?" Kelly asked.
"I would, I'm tired from the few drinks I've had plus everything else. I don't want to give you less than you deserve and falling asleep on you is not what you deserve. I'm sorry. This is not the romantic foot I wanted to start off on." Jennifer frowned and turned away.
"That's true but it's a great foot to start a relationship on," Kelly said.
"Really?"
"Yeah. Do you have something for me to wear tonight?" Kelly asked. She neatly set aside each article of clothing. Jennifer nodded and pulled out a few things for Kelly to choose from, she picked an oversized t shirt of Jennifer's to sleep in while Jennifer wore a tank top and her underwear.
They climbed into bed together then wrapped around each other in the center. Kelly felt Jennifer relax under her touch then softly snore soon after. Her heart filled with joy listening to Jennifer sleep, and as she smiled focusing on the wonderful sound she slipped into slumber.
