"Something's gonna happen, I can feel it..." Paxton told themself as they finished buttoning up their shirt. "And it's not gonna be good." They grabbed a piece each of jade and turquoise and threw it in a pocket. "It's a hero school, something has to happen." Then they slipped on the uniform-"jacket"-thing, "What's a hero school without being in danger, kinda like with yesterday when Izuku and Bakugou took their fight too far." they said his name distastefully, but they kinda adored him in a way. "He is strong, and I hate to admit, kinda hot." They opened their room door and the front door and was right on their way to UA.
When Paxton arrived they were kinda late, they took a detour through a few alleyways incase they could find the thing that "was gonna happen". Nothing. Aizawa-sensei was there before them, and they always tried to arrive before the teachers.
As they entered class they sunk into a deep bow while they apologised. "Pardon my absence yesterday Aizawa-sensei." He explained the bare minimum of what they missed yesterday, what they missed since they came in kinda late today, and that they were lucky they weren't expelled. Wow, these people seem to pride themselves on expulsion they thought absently as they grabbed their hero costume.
There were several reasons why they didn't "prefer" the girls locker room. 1. It was kinda like a sacred space for girls only. 2. it felt wrong. 3. It wasn't Paxton, they weren't a girl anymore, it was as simple as that.
After that mental dilemma they got on the bus, it wasn't like the busses they normally rode on back in America that was for sure. But they sat down and listened to the conversation that started about how similar Izuku and All Mights quirks were-
Shit shit shit shit shit they panicked what if they find out about One For All? All Might said not to tell anyone about it, there's only a handful of people who know. What if Bakubitch finds out exactly how powerful it is and that it can be passed down? Honestly, Paxton was relieved when they dropped the convo and went to a different conclusion.
There was the thing about how quirks can be used for killing and blah blah, but then there was a portal. People started emerging from the portal. Alarm shook them as their teacher quickly sprung to action. Words were said, stuff was going on, but they weren't there, at least mentally. All they felt they could do was watch, spectate, stand idly as the world round them seemed to shatter. They didn't know what to do. they didn't know if they could do anything. Paxton was snapped back to reality as they saw Izuku and Mineta and a bunch of others were sucked into portals the mist-guy was making. They started to run towards the mist that mineta had gone through but before they could actually act it was gone as quickly as it came. They couldn't sit still, it wasn't right. Letting people who they were already so attached to fight by themselves wasn't right. They had a strong sense of duty and they had to use it to the best of their ability. They wouldn't be able to take out any of the villains because of how weak they were...
Thirteen said that they couldn't contact anyone and told Iida to go and get backup. The mist-guy, Kurogiri, immediately went to block the exit. Paxton went and thought through every possible outcome and what they could do to actually help. They snuck out of Kurogiris view and started to run the the center where Aizawa and the "leader" of the group were duking it out. Behind them they could hear Thirteen focusing on trying to defeat Kurogiri. An ominous figure caused them to stop in their tracks.
"Aizawa wa-!" they tried to warn him as they witnessed him getting utterly defeated. They watched numbly as Aizawas head was smashed into the ground over and over. Paxton stood knowing that they couldn't to anything to stop the havoc that was unraveling before them. They watched the main villain leave the side of the behemoth that was their teacher. He was going towards the students in the flood zone, he was going towards Mineta, Tsu and Izuku. If this man-child bitch wanted to kill All Might that was probably the best way to do it, kill Izuku. Paxton ran as fast as they could to try and stop him when they notice he stopped, their head went right to Aizawa, he was using his quirk. No, no you can't, you can't they thought hoping that the villains would show some mercy. The big bird thing smashed Aizawas head into the floor again. They had to help him, someway, even if it put their life in danger. They ran back to where Aizawa laid motionlessly on the ground just to notice that the nomu wasn't there anymore, nevermind that, fuck rationality. Before they could even get a foot from their unmoving teacher they heard the doors burst open. They didn't look up until they saw All Might pick up Aizawa and almost knock them off their feet. Then watched him rescue the three in the flood zone. They ran to help them carry Aizawa as they unwrapped the bandage on their wrist, they had it with them incase they would need it. But as they heaved part of him into their arms they dropped the loose bandages. They didn't take the time to remember the big end fight once the rest of the pros arrived.
Paxton took deep breaths of relief that it was all over. With a free hand they slipped their piece of turquoise into Aizawas pocket hoping that it would help him in recovery.
