Dream holder chapter 7, it comes together,
The moment was in total silence ,not anyone was sure what to do or expect now, Phantasma herself was in the same state, she had not intended for things to go this route, and now here she is in the centre of the stage with all eyes gazing at her, she rubbed the back on her neck with only a sheepish grin on her face.
" You ! what are you doing here ghoul " Amber then blurted looking annoyed.
" well..um sense this is such a grand event, I just couldn't wait to see the new park, so I thought...I'd come take a look ...up close. ? " she nervously laughed a little trying to play it cool.
Amanda pondered for a moment then widened her eyes, " ah...I think I know what's going on here..you came to try and mess up the ceremony didn't you " she excused
phantasma looked shock at her remark, " what of course not..I would never ! "
Amanda however was having none of it and continued to accuse her" of course you would. you just couldn't stand that you weren't wanted here, so you decided to find a way to ruin it " she snapped back,
their where mutters if confusions in the crowed. Phantasma looked around, she felt things getting much more tense, she nervously gulped.
" Um darling do you know this ghoul ? " her father then said eyeing the blue ghost with a suspicious gaze.
Amber then spoke up. " unfortunately we do . she's one of those grimwood ghouls, the ones from that creepy old school. they are always causing trouble here in town when we see them,"
Amanda just nodded on agreement, phantasm looked worried but did her best to remain calm, the other ghouls however were unsure what to do,
" um perhaps we should help her out " wilbe said now speaking up and looking worried,
" your right, those girls are going to make this look worse then it is if we don't step up their," sibella stated,
" wait a minute, you are one of those grimwood girl's then, " Richard said now crossing his arms, " My daughters have told me a lot about you, " he said that in a way that didn't sound like he was impressed,
" oh well, i'm sure they said many things, but I wouldn't assume they were...good ? " phantasma said with a light sheepish grin
" well let's just say you haven't been the most civil mannered towards them. "
" that sir is a false statement ! " sibella's voice rang out,, she then came flying in as a bat before transforming back to normal on the stage,. this only caused more gasps from the crowds,
" we would never cause trouble, we are not monsters..well not in the sense that you think. " she calmly explained,
" oh yeah, if that's true why was your friend creeping around up here, " Amber said with her arms folded,
" well, uh,,,I just..we, " phantasama stuttered trying to explain, she gazed around the stage and down onto the crowd, she wasn't sure what to say,
Just then Amber suddenly put on a mischievous smirk. " Wait a moment, you were trying to ruin the event, it was you who was messing with us !"
" huh ? " both sibella and phantasma said,
" you were the one messing with me and my sister, you wanted us to make fools if ourselves in front of everyone, ! "
" what! No I said that wasn't my intention ! " phantasma exclaimed ,
" so you admit you were the one behind this, seems typical of you ghouls always trying to cause trouble here in town," she said shaking her head. as the crowd began to murmur among each other, wilbie glaned around as they did and put on a worried look.
" why that no good little.." winnie said muttering and growling, as she began to maker her way to the stage, but then felt her her dress get nabbed, she looked back to see Elsa holding her back,
" Hey let me go...I got to get to get up there and show those girls a thing or two " she said growling and pulling at her dress,
" calm down winnie you'll just make things worse, sibella can handle this, "
winnie just crossed her arms and grumbled...
wilbie then looked over at them, " but perhaps we should do something, those girls are going to make you look like serous trouble makers ! "
" I agree with him now let me go ! " winnie said tugging harder,
" Elsa simply sighed and shook her head,
" Mr. Mayor ! " Amber said waking up to him, the mayor then tensed up as she did,
" mr. mayor I think you should make a good decision and have these ghouls removed from the event before any more trouble is made, ! "
" uhh, well, I suppose,.I mean i have no idea,...um " the mayor stuttered and began sweating, unsure what to say,
" No need to worry mr. mayor, me and my friends will calmly leave, without any issues, we must be getting back as it is, sorry for the trouble we caused," Sibella softly spoke,
" uuh...well yes, thank you young lady, ? " the mayor said rubbing his neck,
" come along phantasma, lets go, " she said walking off stage, phantasma just slowly followed her off, looking rather upset though, all while Langley sisters watched with folded arms and smirks planted on there face,
they met up with the rest of the group. and once they did winnie spoke out,
" you mean were just going to leave ? "and let them get away with this ? "
" we don't want to start anymore conflict with them, this was a silly idea anyway, lets just head back with no more incidents " sibella explained,
winnie was about to speak up again...but stopped herself and sighed while nodding,
they soon started heading off, not saying a single word, but they could feel the gazes from all around them, a real walk of shame is what could describe this moment,
wilbie how ever looked back at the stage and the crowed of people who where now focused back on the stage again as the event would soon be continued , he sighed,,,,he was starting see what other people may think of ghouls first hand,...and it did not look as positive as his,. he rubbed his chin, not sure what to think, all he knew was, he was not sure what this will bold for him and the others,.
" alright everyone, the show is over, we can continue with this event, " Richard said speaking into the microphone, " sorry mr. mayor, you may proceed without fear of any further interruptions."
the mayor however didn't speak, as he looked to be in deep thought or rather unsure about something, but quickly looked up straight, " ug right then, lets get on shall we, "
while he started to speak some more, the Langley sisters snickered to themselves, thanks to this event, they succeeded at making the ghoul girls look even more like delinquents, one that the town will soon be finding more and more uncomfortable to be around, they they conjectured to snicker just as their father showed up, were they both stopped immediately,
he looked down at them with a stern face, one that seemed to imply he was ashamed of them,..but then it soon turned into a slight ominous smirk, and nodded, he then moved along back stage as his daughters soon grinned again and followed him.
a little outside of town the gang soon stopped just outside of the path that led to the Grimwood mansion,
well this is the way back, I guess we all should be heading back home, it's been a long and intresting day, filled with happy and bitter moments, " sibella said,
" yeah, it's getting late, perhaps I should be heading off soon, my mom is probably waiting for me with dinner, " wilbe said.
" oh yeah, no problem wilbie, thanks for accompanying us, means a lot. " sibella nodded
" yeah, most people would feel uncomfortable to be seen with ghouls around here, winnie said,
" well, some people just don't know what there missing, " wilbie said with a chuckle,
the ghouls girls grinned, feeling quite happy the made a friend who wouldn't judge them for what they are, and that did mean a lot to them,
" well sorry about that mishap back there, from now on we'll just have to be careful when heading into town, " phantasma added,
" yeah, those mean sisters have always been trying to ruin are time, " Tanis said crossing her arms,
" well, perhaps one day this town will see that there isn't that much diffrent from Humans and ghouls...save for all the supernatural powers and what not," wilbie said laughing, the ghoul girls joined in with him,
" well We best get going, miss grimwood will be wanting these grocery's soon, see you later wilbe," sibella said
wilbie nodded and bid farewell, as they all soon parted ways,,,
things didn't go the way they had planned, but in the end, they were still glad they had some fun, and that they now did have a new person they could call a friend...

Back in the school, the girls,were once again finally getting ready for the night, but they had all mentioned to Miss grimwood about what had happened that day, and while she was disappointed that the girls would resort to such and Idea, she was understanding about what it can be like for them, but she never expected things to go that far, but she was also proud they were honest with her, but she told them that, perhaps she should run the errands a bit until that whole ordeal passe over.
as they did many had something on there mind, they wondered if they did the right thing today, was pulling a prank really that bad a thing, were the Langley sisters in the right to call them out like that ? sure they were cruel, but was seeking revenge like that really any better then what they do to them, they know the town will always be iffy about ghouls, but taking matters into their own hands like that doesn't seem like it would help them...but one thing they can say, they were glad wilbie was there, perhaps them seeing that a human was willing to be their friend could help them come to accept them better,...
" give me that comic you green lizard ! " Wininr yelled chasing after Matches who had managed to swipe her comic wilbie had given her, she growled running down the halls, as matches held the comic in his teeth tightly, smirking as he did, winnie soon jumped onto all fours as she she did, and attempted to gain on the thieving reptile.
" just you wait until I get my Hands on you matches," she barked as she began catch up with him, she was about to leap and pounce on him when he suddenly took a hard left turn causing her to lunge into the air and straight into the wall,
she lay'd their rubbing her head with a dizzy look, " I'll get you soon enough. " she said groggily, getting up, she then shook it off, she then started making her way down the halls of the manor,
it was then she noticed that Tanis was sitting alone her room looking rather, upset clutching Her teddy bear she called Mr scare bear, who was covered on stitches,. and when ever winnie saw her holding on to that thing like that,, she know something was up winine decided to go on in and check on her,
" hey tanis, what are you doing on here all alone ? " winnie said,
Tanis sighed and looked over at her, " oh winnie, I can take it anymore, I just can't "
winnie cocked her head, " uh...what do you mean ? "
" The book remember, ? all day it's been driving me crazy, I can't get it out of my mind ? "
winnie scratched her head for a moment, " book ? ...oh you mean the Dream Holder book. what about that ? "
" I been feeling guilty for sneaking a look at it without miss grimwood knowing, you don't know how bad this is making me feel, " she said sighing again, while squeezing her bear,
winnie looked down, not seeming to know what she should say,.she hadn't know idea that this was causing her to feel this bad, she was intending that,
" and the whole ordeal with the event in the town...after coming clean to miss grimwrood, made me feel even more guilty, I don't know if i can do this winnie, specially with something like we saw in that book.
winnie bit her lip..then sighed, " well...if, if it's that much of a deal..you.." she began to rub her ear...she then looked down at tanis who looke really downhearted,..and winnie had to admit, even she couldn't stand seeing her like that, so she sighed again.." if you really want...you can tell her about it then, "
tanis looked a little shocked by this, " really ? you mean it. ? "
winnie closed her eyes and nodded. " look..I didn't mean for you to have to suffer...and well, maybe we can get some answers from this, "
then surprisingly Tanis wrapped her arms around her, embracing her in a gentle hug, " thank you winnie, you don't know how much this means not having to keep more secrets, "
winnie gently pushed her off, " hey, think nothing off it, though can I ask that you wait until tomorrow sometime after class, I don't think we need any more big events for this day,"
" that I can do, no problem at all wnnie " tanis said in a much better mood, " thanks a lot winnie,"
winnie simply nodded and began to make her way out the room. all she could think was,,,what was in store for tomorrow, hopefully the worst she'd get detention...winnie drooped her ears and shook her head, Just then she bumped into miss grimwood,
" oh, sorry winnie, I was just heading down to the celler to to get a few things for tomorrow's class, that potion you girls made has came out great, perhaps will test it tomorrow after class, she giggled a bit. say. what are you up to ? " she asked,
winnie felt her stomach drop a bit, " Uuuh, Nothiing Miss grimwood, just getting ready for bed, can't wait for a good day of magic studying, " she nervously said then quickly faked a yawn.
Miss grimwood raised and eyebrow.." um well then, sleep well then, " she then walked off still looking a little..confused by winnie's behavior
winnie jut sighed,...now she was the one who wasn't going to be having a good nights sleep...

as he night became darker, creeper was scene in the castles kitchen, cooking up a late meal for revolta, ever sense claiming she now's know were the book is, she's been even more deep in thought, she hasn't said what, but creeper knew something big is on the way,
" alright then, just a touch of funges. and frogs breath. " creeper said sprinkling a strange material into a cooking pot. " now maybe a nice minced rat would make this stew complete. "
he pondered for a moment,
" I'm sure I can find one creeping around here some where," he then used one of his tentacles to each over to a cupboard and and began to fumble around in it, he then pulled out a metal spiked mace.
" ah yes, this should get me a real good one, " he chuckled sinisterly as he caressed it. he then started creeping around the room, looking for any rats he could add to the stew.
" come out come out little rats, I promise you won't feel a thing, just a quick little bonk, and you'll won't even know what's going on," he laughed to himself. he waved the mace in the air and continued to creep around. Just them a tiny rat popped his head out from under a table, it was munching on a stale piece of bread, creeper cough glimpse of it and smiled.
" aah, looks like we have a volunteer. " he laughed. as he crept up on it slowly.
he then raised his mace, he aimed it carefully and prepared to strike. the rat then looked up at him, and cocked it's head,
creeper then swung down hard and smashed his mace down and it hit a solid surface with a crash, he looked down and notice that his mace was wedged into the ground, just the the rat popped it's head from behind it, and twitched it's nose at him,
" eh ! I'll get you still. " he said as he began to tug away at it, how ever it stayed wedged, he grumble as he gave one hard tug and cause it to come loose and fly up into his face,
he was then sent back by the force and crashed onto the table, he dizzily rubbed his head as he gripped the mace. " oooh...you'll pay for that, " he said now growling," he began to swing his mace frantically as the rat scurried away,
he chased it all around the room, smashing and breaking chairs and kitchenware, he then slammed his mace down hard into one of his tentacles. he winced and then shouted out in pain as he held his tentacle and began rubbing it,
just then psyche flew into the room, and perched himself upside down on a rafter to watch the show, he grinned as he watched creeper attempt to catch a rat.
this went on for a moment before the kitchen was looking even more destroyed the rest of the castle, creeper sat the in a pile of broken rubble and wood, soon the rat popped out from under the pile and scurried up onto his head, and stared it's beedy eyes down at him,
creeper groaned and shook his head, but just then Psych flew down and snagged the rat from off him, and brought it back up to the rafters,
" Hey give that back! I had dibs on it first,! " creeper yelled while shaking one of his tentacles at him,
psych just screeched at him..
creeper then growled, " revolta needs that, she is in a very serous Mood tonight, I think it's best we both stay on her good side,"
Psych cocked his head and screeched again.
" I don't know, all I do know is that things may finally be coming together here, Revolta's plan may becoming together, which I think is about time, Not that I don't mind relaxing, but when your working on a plan and nothing is going on, I'd rather be resting my eye," he said nodding, he then looked up to see psych with a rat tail sticking out of his mouth, he then quickly slurped it up.
" aah! you miserable winged beast ! " creeper yelled tossing his mace up at him, Psych however quickly flew away as the mace broke throw the wooden beam he was perched on, causing a piece of it to fall down and Hit creeper on his head, causing a large bump to form,
creeper growled " oooh, that's it, I just about had it with you ! "
he then chased after Psych who flew off and out the door down the Hall,
In another room, Revolta stood there, gazing into the fire burning in the Fire place, it cast an eerie glow in the room, letting her shadow loom behind her,
" hmm, yes I think that could work just well, " she said rubbing her chin, " all I need is the perfect moment when to do it,"
she then walked over to window and peeked out and stared into the star filled sky, " those grimwood brats oughta be a sleep around this point, making for the perfect opportunity, to swipe that book."
she the tapped her wand on her head some more thinking, "I don't suppose they have much security their but there is the issue with the bridge, perhaps I should send Psych to aid him, "
Just as revolta was talking to herself creeper and psych came crashing into the room, while creeper was cursing and yelling at him,
" just wait till I get my tentacles around your neck,! " he screamed lunging at him attempting to snag him down, all while inthe process of smashing and breaking things in the room, revolta just stood there with an annoyed look on her face as they did so, she then grumbled as she held her wand out and shot a beam of magic at the both of them causing them to freeze stiff in their tracks..this caused Psych to fall stiff to the ground,
" Ugh ! can't think for a moment without you too causing some ruckus ? " she said rubbing her forhead, " things are going to be getting serous around here and I don't need your nonsense "
" swwry rrrvooltha " creeper tried tried to say while frozen
" well sense you are here now, I can finally tell you of the plan, " she said placing her hands behind her back
" I been thinking on how we are going to get that book, now that I know the sure location, and if miss grimwood is as dense As I remember her being the we should not have a problem,"
" hhow gwill you doggr thhagt ? " creeper asked again frozen,
revolta rolled her eye and unfroze the both of them, " say that again ?" she asked,
creeper shook his head. " I said how will you do that ? "
revolta chuckled to herself, " well, you see,...sense those grimwood girls had made themselves a new human friend, I thought...why not have it so he's the one who will steal the book. after all they trust him enough to let him back into that school. " she chuckled again,
" use the boy ? ooh that's fiendish " creeper said clapping his tentacles. " though uh...how do you plan on getting him to do that, what makes you think he'd take the book for you, he doesn't even know you, and if he did,...I don't think he'd feel willing to help you. "
" that's were Psych comes in you see. " she said pointing at him, " he has the ability to put anyone under my control remember, all he needs to do is spin a web on that boy mind, and he'll be bringing that book right to me,..and that's were the real fun begins," she said with another sinister chuckle.
Pysch then flew up and screeched, with a confused expression,
" ah no need to worry, you never lost that ability you were always my strongest spider-bat..and I am oh so very lucky to have you around still," she said patting his head,
" And soon we'll be inflecting chaos on that miserable little town, and soon after, where ever we please. " she grinned, " we can create a whole army of terrible monsters with a hunger for anyone who tries to stand in our way, bring the destruction of the human race, be able to strike true fear and panic into them, and make them pay for the things they have done to my family name, that has been my goal sense I was a young witch, and i Will see it full filled,
she stared down at the both of them, " so be prepared, things will be turning over our way soon, she laughed,
