This pandemic has been fucking shitty, internet sucked for some time. I was forced to eat BREAD, the humility. All shitty jokes aside, I am glad to be back. My lying ass tried to update this quicker...but I did not take into account how many words I was gonna write. When I write a chapter, I never plan how many words I want in it, I just wing it and hope to reach over eight thousand words.

Hello everyone, I am back with a VENGEANCE! A Devil's Justice is back, with beauty and get's even deeper. Like plunging your sword into the holy lands, pulling it back out like it's Excalibur. I hope to get these updates faster, because as soon as this is posted, I'm gonna get right into the next chapter which hopefully will be shorter. I think I will save most of my thoughts for the bottom of the AN. Let's get into responses.

Tikio: Like I said bro, all is forgiven, it was both a misunderstanding on both parts, mainly my fault. We're cool.

Rubeneliasrivera: Hella long name, and confusing (No offense). I could see that happening, but not for a while. At least with Circe, Ivy and the Sirens will make an appearance soon. Enjoy the chapter.

Foxsky Harem Emperor 2015: I'm gonna be honest I have no idea what the first part of the sentence was about, but thank you.

Spiral-VoltronZero0Q1: Thanks. I believe you already asked and I already said yes I still have the docs.

Gwb620: Thanks. Yeah I felt Clark would absolutely being the father like figure, then again a lot of the male heroes in the League will serve as mentor/father figures for Ragna. While the girls are...well obvious is obvious.

AnimeGoji91: Yeah, Ragna's history with demons is not a pretty one, and I plan to explore throughout all of volume one as you come further and further into his past. You get the first glimpse of it, or in the stories case, Diana get's a glimpse of it. No, no we are not doing the DCSHG, I have however used a design of a certain character, I'd suggest y'all go back and reread the last chapter for a bit.

Jebest4781: Thanks. Yes, it's a different Lois, not THE Lois. I wouldn't do that, especially to Superman. I'm telling, I didn't even realize this chick name was Lois. Just go on Comic vine and try to find any DC chick name Lois, I'll give you a hint tho: She's basically a Masochist.

Dragonfan6: Thanks.

Blazingphoenix123: Thank you. Yes, the line between taking a life and sparing it. Joker is probably gonna be a big catalyst and does play a part in this story for Ragna...or at least one side of him does. That conversation will absolutely be addressed, as it is what makes or breaks a hero in DC.

Guest: Bruh why you do me in like that. In all seriousness I don't know what you were expecting, I didn't make a character you wanted, I made a character I wanted. I can't imagine a seventeen year old not being cringy. A nerd in what? Combat? Okay? In heroes? Well when your in a world of godlike figures, that's like the best thing you can be.

Drako Knight 96: Thank you. Oh trust there are gonna be plenty of twists for this series.

DB-20: Yeah, I went by Omega108 at that time. I was CRINGE during that time, my stories were fun but damn I could've done a lot better. I did get some criticism for it, albeit looking back the guy was more a long the lines of just listing what he didn't like and not helping me. I wasn't any better either because I did not take it well (Had a lot of anger issues, used up a lot of it in Football...good times.).

xXwolfXx644: Thanks.

Pyrojack25: I can't promise that the relationship will take years, but the harem officially starts like before the end of act one and after the second major arc. Because canon wise, the story goes over like a year in time. Last chapter was like the end of Janurary in the series, and the story ends at least near or during winter, post Ragna's birthday. I'm not gonna reveal Ragna's birthday yet, but I hope people figure it out soon. Trust me, I want the girls to get to know Ragna better, I should rephrase that some girls will absolutely hit on Ragna, but that's their character. That doesn't mean I want them having sex in like the first chapter after hours of meeting him. In fairness, some Nartuo crossovers are pretty good, but my favorite Naruto story is Eroninja hands down. If you want you can vote no, I have a poll on profile for it. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

Everyone, the poll will be shut after I post the first chapter for the story arc, which is the next chapter.

Logic Soldier: I'm gonna assume you and the Guest have never seen a Shonen anime, just spit balling here no hate. My story is adventure, love, and humor, as in anime humor which is usually weird. If it was a crackfic, I wouldn't have made several docs just for this story entire premise. He's seventeen, loves manga/comics/video games, and is in a world of super heroes and is half demon. He is definitely not normal. A few theatrics does not take away the emotion of the story, besides this emotion of Ragna's plays a certain point in his character, especially in the next story arc. So please enjoy.

Bladewolf101: Yes.

Skull Flame: Yeah, it was fun to write.

LionsSolitude: With how long this story is, I accept the challenge. Besides, not all are gonna be joinging the harem instantly, it takes time. I got six volumes, I got time.

Vein Bloodborne: In fairness, you have no idea who I paired the male heroes with, it was the first thing I did before I started the harem. Every guy character who appears will have a relationship with a girl and or more. Superman is with Lois and that's all he will be with because that woman is a one woman army that will handle the Man of Steel herself.

DragonGod117: That's what the poll is for...Can anyone see the results?

Kyuzo3567: Yeah, I was so fucking tired that night I thought I got them all cleared, because when I posted chapter five that's when I settled with Jekyll and Hyde (I changed them like three times). When you mentioned the sword, the only time I didn't change it was in the AN, at least for what I could fine, and like three times for the other guns. So I wouldn't say all over the place, but thank you for pointing it out. I'd prefer if you said what else you liked and not just criticize me, not saying I don't want it. I fucking welcome criticism, I do however, always love when people tell me what they do enjoy. Thanks again.

Guest: I'll count it.

SupremeSongLeader: Thanks. To be honest I don't hate OPM, the concept is the only thing that irks me, one punching fodder is one. To just constantly one punching everyone gets boring overtime and just gets tedious. That's why I always say, making a spin off of Garou and I'll absolutely read the fuck out of it. Never heard of Tanya the Evil. Yeah, I do take joy in making these few slice of life chapters before the story gets going. Expect a lot of these inbetween the story arcs, it helps build the characters. Thanks again, and enjoy.

Guest 3: Yeah, I know Bladewolf has being doing that. We've had our talks back and forth before hand. I can't remember if he told me he was gonna make a story based on mine but this isn't the first time someone has done this (No cap, I made a best friend on that kind of interaction. Bio and I have been friends and a great team on both games and writing ever since). I'm not the biggest fan since some were obviously written wrong which I have addressed. So long as he doesn't copy the next chapter (Which I told him to write his arcs on a doc), I'll be fine. If it follows chapter eight...I will be putting red flags. Thanks tho.

SaiyatonianSage: My MAN! Finally back from the dead. Yes, the human vs demon/Becoming demon plays a big part in Ragna's moral, especially with Cog and a few others from the dark side. It does fit in with his hero dilemma which actually does play a good part in this next story arc...at least one emotion that Ragna doesn't show a lot. Oh yes, more Spawn elements will be arriving, ara ara. Etrigan plays a big part in Ragna's growth in power, but that will come a time when Ragna arrives in old London town...in the past. Yeah I didn't want to make this chapter to long, since Overtkill is a definite step down from city destroying aliens, but the main point of the chapter was Ragna's interaction with Cog and Diana. Yeah, I'll admit I probably should have saved his identity reveal later but I felt like it would have been funnier if my character got ducking decked in the face by the Girl of Steel. Yeah Jonathan is gonna be fun to have, might have him kind of be like Konohamaru when his powers start developing...I'll probably won't do that weird ass time skip shit they did in the comics. Uh yeah here's a hint: If the Wonder Woman in the Justice League of America is blonde, and Hippolyta is blonde, now I know this will take some 4D Big brain time, but yes it's real to them. Lol. All jokes aside, hope you enjoy this chapter.

Now with that out of the way, I hope everyone enjoys.

Chapter Seven: Framed

A Devil's Justice

"So this is a Lasso of Revelation?" Ragna asked, wearing his superhero garb and his mask filter off, sitting on a rooftop in Redgrave. It had been a week since Diana had gained the name 'Wonder Woman' and the news had been really eating up the information, now that she finally had a hero name. School was over, and since Artemis was still grounded, Kyrie and Victor went home while he decided to go out and scour the city. He wasn't alone as sitting on the rooftop with him were Hawkgirl, who was sitting on a nearby pipe, and Diana who was holding a golden lasso.

"Lasso of Truth, it was forged by the God Hephasteus." Wonder Woman explained, "It is capable of forcing someone to reveal the truth."

"So an invasion of privacy? Nifty, but I think people would get the wrong idea with that lasso." Hawkgirl said from her spot. Ragna scratched his head, wondering what she meant, before he had a look of realization and blushed crimson. "Personally I would have gone with a sword or shield."

"I would have, but the sacred weapons are vaulted by several Amazonian defenses, and the world wasn't going to wait." Wonder Woman said. Her people held several treasures, two she really wanted were the Sword of Achilles, and the Aegis Shield.

"That's really neat, though." Ragna said, pointing at the lasso. "With that, we could get info if the situation rises."

"I'm glad you see the advantages this great treasure has." Wonder Woman said.

"Eh, it's pretty cool, but I still think it will send the wrong message, especially with your whole 'Holier than Men' mentality you got." Hawkgirl said offhandedly. She hopped off the pipe and started walking towards the edge. Wonder Woman narrowed her eyes, but said nothing, ignoring Hawkgirl's harsh comment. Just because she thought men were monsters, doesn't mean she was wrong, right?

"Besides, how do we know that thing works on everyone, have you ever actually used it on anyone?" Hawkgirl asked. In the blink of an eye, Wonder Woman watched Ragna disappear and reappear right where he stood, giving her a wink before pointing at Hawkgirl.

"...Damn, look at that sky." Hawkgirl mused, a smirk on her face. "I love flying, you know back on my world I could just fly all day and night, it was so breathtaking." Hawkgirl took a big inhale of air, exhaling and chuckling. "You know you got me into those stupid milkshakes, my kind don't have stuff like sugar, it was such a rush." Hawkgirl said, turning to face the two. She noticed that Ragna was covering his mask, shoulders were shaking.

"What so funny, I really, really like mi…..Oh you little." Hawkgirl growled, seeing the lasso wrapped around her left wrist, glowing brighter as a sign it was being used.

"PFHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Ragna laughed, holding his sides laughing at the misfortune of Hawkgirl. "HA-I'm-HA-SO sorry…..but you did say how do we know it works? So I thought we needed a test run." Ragna said, chuckling.

WHAM

"...Ow." Ragna groaned, Hawkgirl's mace striking the top of his head. Ragna fell to the ground, groaning in pain, as Hawkgirl pulled her mace back. The winged warrior pulled Wonder Woman's lasso off her wrist and gave it back to the Amazon.

"That is an impressive weapon, Hawkgirl." Wonder Woman said, admiring the mace, it seemed to radiate electricity if Hawkgirl needed it to. "What is it made of?"

"Oh this? Never really knew the origin, but my people call it Nth Metal, a powerful metal source." Hawkgirl explained, holding the mace over her shoulder. "It was forged during a war on my planet, it leaves a nice indent on my enemies. Lucky you got that healing factor, huh 'Sparda'?" Hawkgirl asked, using Ragna's hero persona in case anyone could hear them. The half-devil hero was still on the ground, slowly raising a thumbs up, before remaining in his spot.

"Just great, Hawkgirl." Ragna groaned, pulling himself back up and rubbing his head. "By the way, why do you call yourself Hawkgirl? I would've thought you would have gone with the 'Winged Maiden' or 'Hawk Goddess' or something."

"First off, those are terrible names. Secondly, I'm not the one who made the name, you humans named me that." Hawkgirl explained, brushing her hair over her shoulder. "For some inexplicable reason, you guys love to name things you don't understand in the most basic form. Hawkgirl is the persona you guys made, I just went along with it because I have no reason to share my name. That whole 'secret identity' and what not." Hawkgirl said.

"...So what is your name?" Hawkgirl looked down at Ragna, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

"What?"

"You're name, what is it? I realized I don't actually know your name. I know Big Blue's, Batman's, everyone knows J'onzz, and Diana. You all know mine, what's wrong with sharing secrets and identity among friends?" Ragna asked.

"I am quite curious what your name is too, Hawkgirl." Wonder Woman added.

"Sorry, but I'm not on a first name basis just yet, you'll have to earn that." Hawkgirl said, crossing her arms.

"...I took you girls out for pizza and milkshakes." Ragna muttered, grumbling, wondering how they weren't friends yet.

"Not a bad start, keep doing that and I might just let you see what's under the mask." Hawkgirl teased, smirking as Ragna looked away.

"Perhaps we should continue our patrol." Wonder Woman suggested, hoping to change the topic of conversation and continue their heroic duty across the city.

"Yes...lets." Ragna muttered, the three taking off into the sky, Ragna being held in Diana's arms while Hawkgirl flew beside him. The city seemed pretty peaceful so far, Hawkgirl noticed, and decided to make more small talk with the others.

"So…..you got a girlfriend, Ragna?" Hawkgirl questioned, making Ragna nearly jump out of Wonder Woman's arms, turning to the winged warrior.

"I uh…..why do you wanna know?"

"Just curious." Was all Hawkgirl gave him.

"...Well…" Ragna scratched his head, his eyes looking down at the street. "...There was this one girl." This caught both the heroine's attention, no offense to Ragna but he didn't seem like a ladies man. At least he didn't seem he went out of his ways on flirting with the opposite sex.

"Oh, a crush?"

"Y-Yeah, I met her in my first year of High School…...her name was Iris. She was…..in one word: Amazing. I wanted to date her, but she ended up moving away to Central City." Ragna informed, his mood a bit deflated.

"Sorry to hear that." Hawkgirl said, looking away from the hero. Ragna didn't respond, wishing best to keep his eyes on patrol. It was true, he really did like Iris, she was one of the most popular girls in school. He really wanted to impress her, but the girl ended up moving away before he could, something about a divorce. He felt bad but he couldn't do much about it now.

"May I ask something Ragna?" Wonder Woman's voice pulled him out of his thoughts, looking up at the Amazonian. "I notice that no demons have made an attempt to attack the last few days, especially in sunlight, why is that?"

"Well…..Because…..I don't know actually." Ragna said, even as he took a big whiff of the air he didn't smell a demon in sight. "I've never actually had to fight demons in daylight before, at least not on Earth. I've never really thought about it too much, in fact I'm really thankful that they only do it at night."

"What, they found you in your apartment?" Hawkgirl asked.

"No, I was always surprised that they never appeared in my apartment…...Save for my dreams." Ragna muttered the last part.

"What?"

"Nothing." Ragna said.

(A Devil's Justice)

J'onn overlooked the data reports from the scans, noticing a spike in a plethora of energy across the USA. He informed this to Batman the other night, the Dark Knight deduced this was the rise of more super powered beings. According to Earth's history it was no stranger to super powered beings, like the ones who fought in the planet's second world war, but since then it hasn't seen such beings until Superman arrived. Now nine years after his arrival, the second team of super powered beings band together to protect this world.

Well, most of them.

J'onn had nothing against saving them, he of course stayed on the Watchtower to overlook all rescue operations, but he didn't go out of his way to go down there. He didn't know how to explain it, perhaps it was because he was unsure how the earthlings would react to an alien like him. Compared to Superman, he was more alien-like than the Kryptonian. Would he terrify the civilians with his appearance, or?

Or perhaps they will accept him? After all humans might be very welcoming, especially those that he saved in the aftermath of the Imperium Invasion. After all humanity was so much different than Mars, in multiple ways. For one, only about one half percent of the species have super powers. Very few seemed to have telepathy, ones he could not find yet, unlike his world where all spoke telepathically. The thing that truly stood out was the humans shared for hatred with one another, just like his race once had.

When the Green Martians banished them.

J'onn closed his eyes in silence, thinking back to a time before the Imperium, before fire, before the great splinter among his kind. But unlike his race, the humans seem to have accepted one another, as J'onn learned from watching history videos. Still, despite their acceptance of one another in some form, would that include him? He wondered…...what was Ragna doing? It had been a while since the boy had been up in the Watchtower, and the way the human spoke when he was here made J'onn think Ragna enjoyed it. Perhaps he should go down and visit the kid, wondering if Ragna could show him around the city he lives in.

'Unidentified Targets'

J'onn was pulled from his thoughts as red lights flashed throughout the Watchtower. Quickly typing on the panels, several monitors lit up showing the void of space beyond the Moon. J'onn watched as several blue dots appeared from beyond, getting bigger and bigger.

"What are they?" J'onn thought, quickly typing at the monitor for scan reports. When it finished scanning, J'onn noticed that the objects were not moving fast enough to cause severe damage to the Earth, however, he saw that they also had no heartbeat. The objects flew past the Watchtower and towards the Earth, in the eastern part of the US.

"Locating the source of trajectory, where are they heading?" J'onn asked out loud, the monitors zooming in on the planet until it located the location. Seeing where it was, J'onn reached for his communicator.

"All available lea-!"

(A Devil's Justice)

"All available league members, report in!" Ragna and the girls' ears perked up, hearing their Martian teammates' voices. Ragna reached into his pocket, quickly eating the rest of a pizza slice he saved for today, pulling out the league communicator.

""J-J'onn, this is Sparda, what's going on?!" Ragna asked.

"Ra-Sparda," J'onn corrected. "There are several unidentified life forms heading towards Detroit, Michigan." J'onn ordered.

"Alright, Wonder Woman, Hawkgirl, and I will head down there and intercept these baddies before they start causing any chaos." Ragna informed, "Anyone nearby that can help?"

"Unfortunately no, Superman is handling an active volcano in Hawaii, Flash is Antarctica helping lost scientist, and Batman is busy in Gotham." J'onn informed.

"Typical." Hawkgirl said from the side.

"I shall head down there and join you."

"On it, don't forget to get me a space rock!" Ragna joked, ending the call, turning to the others. "You girls ready?"

"Hang on." Wonder Woman said, grabbing onto Ragna and flying into the sky at mach speed, Hawkgirl right behind them.

"What do you think they are here for?" Hawkgirl asked.

"Who knows, let's ask them when we get there, give them an old Earth welcome." Ragna said, putting his masks back on. A minute of flying and the three arrived in Detroit, checking each street for anything out of the norm. That is until the three saw several large figures walking down the road, as if they were searching something. Once Ragna and the girls landed they got a good look of the figures, and saw what they truly are.

Robots, or at least very large machine-like figures, Ragna sniffed the air and noted they were indeed robots. They were large and imposing, the very same size and build as Superman, with a strange smooth staff in their right hand. They were red with blue outlines around their arms and legs. There were seven of them, they appeared to be scanning the area around them, lifting cars aside if they got in their way.

"Let me this, girls, I am the master of negotiations." Ragna said, a smug tone in his voice, as he started walking towards the robots.

"This will be good." Hawkgirl mused, leaning on a lamp post for support, crossing her arms.

"I do not think this is wise." Wonder Woman stated, trying to reach out for Ragna.

"Don't worry Di, I got this." Ragna reassured, his voice catching the attention of the robots, as he turned back to the large behemoths.

"Hi there, Earthly greetings my large mechanical friends." Ragna said, holding his right hand up and splitting his fingers apart like a V. "I am Sparda, hero of Redgrave City and member of the Justice League. Welcome to Earth, may I h-!"

"Where is the Green Lantern designated as John Stewart?" A robot stated, catching Ragna by surprise. John Stewart? That was Green Lantern's real name?

"Uh….Who's asking?" Ragna asked. "What do you want with him?"

"That is not your concern." Another one said, this one had a more feminine tone. Ragna's eyes widened as a smaller robot stepped past the one in front of him, and this one was clearly more feminine than the others. She was of the same height as him, with fiery blue flames flowing off her head like hair.

"A female robot…..That's a new one." Ragna muttered.

"I am Manhunter Number A3A, where is John Stewart?" The Manhunter robot, A3A, asked as it's yellow optics narrowed at Ragna.

"What will you do to him if I tell you?" Ragna asked, hands resting on his belt.

"As stated before, that is none of your concern." A3A stated, the staff in her hand extending, as if goading him to pull out his weapons. Taking a deep breath, Ragna pulled his hands away and held them up, walking towards the Manhunters.

"Listen, we are not asking for trouble, but we need to know what our teammate did to ge-AAAAHHH!" Ragna roared in pain as the butt of A3A's staff jabbed into his shoulder, releasing thousands of volts in his body. The pain forced him to his knees, where A3A stopped her attack, and the staff aimed at Ragna's head.

"I will ask once again, where is John St-!" A3A was silenced as a fist collided with her cheek, sending her flying into a wall.

"That is none of YOUR concern." Wonder Woman growled, standing in front of Ragna with her fist raised in a boxer like stance. The Manhunter's extended their staffs and prepared a fight, Wonder Woman flying towards them and sending one flying with a left hook.

"How'd the negotiations go?" Hawkgirl asked, twirling her mace around her hand, as Ragna pushed himself back up.

"...Just like the Trojans, it was not won in a day." Ragna groaned, dusting himself off, before pulling his sword out and dashing towards the Manhunters to fight with Wonder Woman. Hawkgirl followed behind him, swinging her mace, sending a Manhunter flying into a nearby building. Ragna swung his blade, metal sparking against metal, as a Manhunter blocked his strike with its staff. Ragna blitzed around it, delivering a powerful strike that sent the robot through several buildings.

Wonder Woman used her lasso to wrap around a Manhunter, swinging him around, before letting him fly into the sky. The Manhunter's feet exploded in flames, soaring back down to the ground and tackling the Amazon. The Warrior Princess gripped the staff holding the Manhunter at bay, before planting a boot in its chestplate and kicking it off her. Hawkgirl cocked her fist back, the Manhunter fist collided with hers, unleashing a shockwave that blasted everything around them away. Hawkgirl caught the Manhunter by surprise with a swing of her free hand, the mace stabbed into the Manhunter's side, and with enough force sent it flying into the sky. The Manhunter regained control and fired a blast of energy from it's staff. Hawkgirl swung her mace, deflecting the blast into a nearby lamp post.

Hawkgirl swung her mace around at super speed, the Manhunter launched into a nearby building, the shockwave shaking cars and their alarms blaring. Hawkgirl blinked and her field of vision was covered by a metallic blue boot. She grunted as the blow knocked her higher into the sky. A3A reached for her staff, aiming one end at Hawkgirl and firing off a green beam of energy. Expecting pain to follow, Hawkgirl tried to deflect the beam with her mace, only for the beam to expand around her body. She didn't feel pain or any sort of feeling in her body, that is until she noticed the female Manhunter aiming her staff high before pointing towards the ground. Hawkgirl cried as she was flung towards the surface, leaving a crater where she laid. The winged warrior flipped herself back up, but noticed the green energy was still around her. Before she could try anything else, her body was flung across the street and through several buildings. Hawkgirl groaned as she swiped some rubble off her shoulder, only for something cold and wet to land on her back. She shivered as it trailed down her back, reaching over her shoulder she pulled it over her shoulder to see a white glob in her hand. Looking around she found herself in an ice cream parlour, the denizens looking quite terrified. Before she could say anything witty that came to mind, another cone landed on her helmet, before sliding into her hair.

"...When I'm done with that bucket of bolts, they're gonna need a magnet to find your parts." Hawkgirl growled, before her body was flung into the sky. A3A emotionless expression was quite an uncomforting sight, she made no twitch or face as she used Hawkgirl like a toy.

"DYNAMIC ENTRY!" A3A looked to her right, only for a boot to be planted in her cheek. The blow sent her flying halfway across the city, Ragna skating to a stop.

"I'd prefer if you didn't use my associate like she was a laser pointer." Ragna said, pulling his sword out at the last second as A3A appeared before him, his blade clashing with her staff. Ragna was surprised by her burst of strength, these Manhunters were no joke.

"Our patience wears thin, where is Green Lantern designated as John Stewart?" A3A demanded, Ragna smirked under his mask.

"If I wasn't gonna answer the first time, why would I answer now?" Ragna asked.

"So be it." Ragna noticed the butts of her staff started glowing red, volts of electricity flying out of both ends of the staff. With a flick of her wrist, her staff spun around like a red wheel of light, knocking Ragna off balance. She went for a quick jab, only to be met with steel, the force of the air sent the cars around them flying and windows shattering. Ragna hand trembled a bit from her strength, clearly these Manhunter's were not ones to hold back, which meant neither shall he. A flash of red, Ragna thrusted his sword forward, A3A optic blink as she was now in the air behind Ragna.

Ragna held his sword high and swung with such ferocity and speed, A3A felt her staff bend and nearly break under the pressure as the Manhunter was sent downward. The force split the earth as A3A went miles upon miles down, until she was buried beneath the earth. Ragna felt his feet burn, jumping at the last second as a beam of light obliterated the earth around him as A3A flew out of the wall and boosted towards Ragna. Steel clashed against steel, before the two spun and swung their weapons at inhuman speeds. Ragna realized whatever style of combat the Manhunter used wasn't human, and yet it felt like he was in an old japanese film. His head narrowly dodging a swing from A3A, before she so casually flicked the staff between her fingers, Ragna followed with spinning and delivering a powerful swing of his blade. It was a dance between the two, the ground breaking apart around them.

Wonder Woman blocked a random shot with her bracelets, the blast hitting one of the nearby Manhunters as two more flew past him and charged at her. The main bulk of the Manhunter squad were going after her, two went to go and find Hawkgirl for interrogation, and once she was done with these robots those two would be next. Wonder Woman blocked a swing with her arm, following back with a punch to the metal man's face. The blow sent him flying across the sky, before another flew around her and held Wonder Woman in an armlock, holding her arms down and keeping her still. Wonder Woman grunted as she tried to get out, seeing another Manhunter flying towards her with his staff glowing red. Thinking quickly the Amazonian pushed her head down, before swinging it back full force, breaking the robot's nose. Wondering why it even had one to begin with, Wonder Woman grabbed him and through him into the charging Manhunter.

Wonder Woman grunted in pain as a bolt of energy struck her in the back, courtesy of the one Manhunter she sent flying before. The Amazon crashed into a truck, the force causing it to explode in a great fiery pillar. The Manhunter stared at the pile of molten scrap, before a fiery fist flew from the flames, the force spun the Manhunter around like a wheel, before the Amazon grabbed his boot. Wonder Woman let out a cry of anger, swinging the robot like a club, launching him into the sky once more. Wonder Woman landed back on the ground, her head looking right and left, seeing that Ragna was still fighting but saw no sign of Hawkgirl.

"I hope she is okay." Wonder Woman thought, looking for any sign of the Hawk theme heroine. As she was keen on finding Hawkgirl, a Manhunter was flying towards her with his staff aimed at her back. Before it could make contact with the Amazon, a large green ball of spike collided with the Manhunter's side, launching him into a wall. Wonder Woman turned at the last second, a smile on her face seeing a familiar face.

"J'onn!" The Amazon exclaimed happily. The Martian landed on the ground softly, pulling his left hand back as it morphed from the ball of spikes back into his regular green limb.

"I apologize for being late, I had to make sure no more would arrive." Martian Manhunter said, scanning the area. "I know no one knows of my identity, but I think we should still call ourselves by our codenames."

"Of course." Wonder Woman muttered, when her focus was on the Manhunter behind the Martian.

"Loo-!" Before the Amazon could finish, J'onn body became intangible, the Manhunter phasing right through him. Becoming tangible again, the Manhunter could not react as the Martian delivered a powerful blow, the force alone released an air cannon as well as sent the robot into the harbor.

"Hawkgirl is nearby, she is fine." Martian Manhunter informed, eyes scanning the area. An explosion ran off as A3A skated past them, a red blur followed after as Ragna swung his blade with precision, speed, and power. Spinning his blade, sparks flew as his blade scraped against the Manhunter's staff. A3A scanned her staff, seeing it was taking critical damage as she held her guard against the earthling. Ragna threw his sword into the air, pulling out Jekyll and Hyde unleashing a storm of bullets. A3A was fast, but she was not prepared for the strange little metal objects being so powerful. The bullets scraped against her frame, leaving several dents across her body.

Ragna holstered his pistols, reaching back for his sword, and throwing the blade like a boomerang. The sword spun into the air slicing through A3A staff and knocking A3A out of the air. Holding his hand up, Ragna caught his blade as A3A landed on the road, holstering his sword.

"...I think negotiations are going well." Ragna said. From the sky the Manhunter's landed, sparks flying from their bodies but they were still prepared for a fight. Hearing flapping, Ragna looked up to see Hawkgirl land next to him, something white in her hair.

"What happened to you?"

"I was sent into the stratosphere." Hawkgirl muttered angrily, glaring at the female Manhunter.

"You can all keep fighting, but we will find Green Lantern John Stewart, no man escapes the Manhunters." A3A stated.

"No man escapes the Manhunters." The Manhunters behind her chanted, weirding Ragna and the girls out.

"What are you guys, some kind of Hivemind?" Ragna asked, drawing out his sword.

"If you want GL, you're gonna have to go through us." Wonder Woman said, holding her fists up. The four heroes held their guards up as the Manhunters, save for A3A, staff emanating a blue aura.

"ENOUGH!" All heads looked up in the direction of the voice, to see Green Lantern floating above them.

"GL, good to see ya man." Ragna said excitedly, watching Green Lantern land in front of the four heroes. "With you here, we even the odds of taking down these buckets of scrap." With Green Lantern's green energy constructs, they should be able to handle these robots with no sweat. However, Ragna was surprised to see GL glaring daggers into his very soul, a look of disappointment on his face before turning to the Manhunters and walking towards them.

"You are Green Lantern of Earth, John Stewart?" A3A asked.

"I am." John stated, A3A held her hand out.

"You're ring." Green Lantern held his hand up, pulling the green object from his ring finger. Handing over to A3A, the Manhunter produces a blue energy sphere containing the powerful object.

"Green Lantern?" Wonder Woman asked, shocked and confused why he was surrendering.

"GL, what are you doing?" Ragna asked, he didn't understand what was going on? Why was GL giving his ring up to these robots?

"Stay out of this, Rookie!" Green Lantern said sternly.

"You are to come with us, without resistance." A3A stated as two Manhunters stepped up and grabbed John's hands. A click and Green Lantern's wrists were shackled, but GL made no attempt to resist. Suddenly, a yellow pillar surrounded all of the Manhunter's and GL, Ragna's eyes widened at the realization that they were taking a fellow hero away.

"NO!" Ragna bolted towards them, grabbing Green Lantern by his shoulder.

"Kid, what the hel-!" Before John could finish, all the Manhunter's including the two heroes disappeared in a beam of yellow light. The three heroes were shocked, unsure what had just transpired: Green Lantern, now accompanied by Sparda, were just taken by invading robots off into who knows where space.

"What do we do? We can't just let those stupid bucket heads get away with Sparda and Green Lantern." Hawkgirl said, gripping her mace a little too tightly.

"Calm down, Hawkgirl." Martian Manhunter stated, placing a hand on her shoulder. "First, we should regroup to the Watchtower, I might be able to telepathically link myself with one of them."

"Then let's be off." Wonder Woman said, Manhunter nodded and the three flew into the sky. Wonder Woman's eyes trailed over to Hawkgirl, raising an eyebrow in confusion on what was in Hawkgirl's hair.

"What is on you?" Wonder Woman asked.

"...Ice cream. I don't wanna talk about it." Was all Hawkgirl said.

(A Devil's Justice)

-l are you doing?" John asked, pushing Ragna off him as they reappeared within the cockpit of a ship. Ragna was about to ask John the same thing, when he took in their surroundings.

"Where...where are we?" Ragna asked, looking around the ship. John let out a small growl, before looking around when his attention was to the outside of the glass.

"By my guess somewhere outside of the Solar System." John summarized.

"Correct, Green Lantern." A3A stated, stepping between the two heroes, her attention on the GL. "This ship will take us back to the Ajuris System, where you will be put on trial."

"Trial?!" Ragna asked, shocked at what he was hearing.

"Yes, now sit down Green Lantern, we will arrive soon." A3A said, John nodded and walked over to a nearby seat, making no resistance.

"What of him?" A Manhunter asked, aiming his staff at Ragna, who was still reeling in shock at hearing a fellow hero was going to be put on trial. "We were not ordered to arrest any accomplices." A3A stared at Ragna, gaining his attention, and if she was to show any emotion it would be hatred.

"While he did not commit a crime with the Green Lantern, he stood between us and the search for Green Lantern John Stewart, we will let the Court decide." A3A said, crossing her arms. "Surrender your weapons."

"Hold up, now." Ragna said, taking a step back as two Manhunter's stepped around A3A trying to surround him. "If you think I am gonna let you take me and GL away you are-!"

"Kid, will you just shut up for one minute, and start listening. Give them your weapons, before you make it much worse than it already has been." Green Lantern exclaimed, catching Ragna's attention, shocking the half devil hero. Ragna had no idea where this hostility was coming from, maybe it was whatever was going on that was eating GL up inside. Seeing that he wasn't gonna be able to convince GL, Ragna grumbled under his breath and pulled out his holster for his pistols. A Manhunter took them while waiting for the sword, Ragna reached for his sword about to drop it on the ground when the Manhunter attempted to catch it.

"Oh, I wouldn't do that, it only let's m-!"

THUNK

Everyone looked down to see the Manhunter hand crushed by the blade.

"...Me. It only let's me hold it." Ragna said, kicking the sword with his boot. A3A took Ragna's arms, the hero making note that her hands were surprisingly soft despite being metallic, and cuffed him. Ragna made his way over to John, sitting down next to him as some Manhunter's started piloting the ship, entering light speed. John focused on his own feet, while Ragna tapped his knee, humming a tune from a demon slaying anime he loved watching. That however did not stop the pregnant silence between the two, as Ragna realized GL was one of the last few heroes he had made a connection with. Why not start now?

"...So-!"

"No."

(A Devil's Justice)

"How the hell are we gonna find them?" Hawkgirl asked, wringing the rest of the water out of her hair, as J'onn and Diana were near the monitors. The others have yet to respond, Superman was still cleaning the aftermath of his rescue, Flash was still saving lives, and Batman never responded. "Can we use the Watchtowers monitors to find them?"

"I have already tried." J'onn said. "Wherever they have gone, they are not within the solar system."

"Where could they have taken them?" Diana thought, crossing her arms, pushing her bust up further.

"We will find them, Wonder Woman." J'onn said, Diana was about to ask him what he meant, when she realized he read her mind. "I might be able to find them telepathically."

"You can do that?" Hawkgirl asked.

"It has been a while, but yes, I should be able to locate Ragna or John via telepath. I must concentrate, this will require all my focus." J'onn said, his eyes glowing red, focusing on finding Ragna or John's thoughts. He searched beyond the system, beyond the worlds, beyond the stars. Diana and Hawkgirl watched in silent anticipation, nervous if J'onn would be able to find them.

"Hmm…. that is troubling…." The Martian muttered, loud enough for them to barely hear it.

"J'onn?" Diana asked.

"I am able to sense John, he is watching as they land, but I am unable to see Ragna." J'onn explained, floating over to the center console, typing away at coordinates. Both Hawkgirl and Diana were relieved to hear they could find the two, but what worried them was that J'onn couldn't see Ragna.

"Did they?" Diana didn't even know if she could finish that sentence.

"No, Ragna is alive, but he is forticated with a mental blockage that I have never seen before." J'onn explained, searching on a holographic map of solar systems.

"He created mental blocks? Didn't know he could do that?" Hawkgirl mused. "Wait I thought you had read his mind before, back when we all first met."

"I only saw glimpses, but I was not able to access Ragna's mind. I don't believe even he knows he has them, perhaps they were placed there by another, or whatever experience Ragna has faced his mind placed them within the deepest corners of his consciousness. I know what that is like." J'onn said, Diana and Hawkgirl eyes widened at the implication that both J'onn and Ragna were suppressing their inner demons, in Ragna's case quite literally if he was. A beep echoed across the room, as J'onn zoomed in on a planet designated as Ajuris-5.

"I have found them."

(A Devil's Justice)

Ragna and John were forced to stand up and stand between four Manhunters as the ship landed, following the two in front and trying to keep at the pace with the emotionless automatons. The ship's landing pad opened up, A3A led the squad as Ragna and John followed behind, and what stood between them and their location shocked Ragna to the core. Hundreds upon hundreds of alien-like creatures, all yelling and screaming in rage. Many held up protest signs, some had the symbol on John's ring, and others had the man's face on them. Ragna was so shocked and confused, what could John have done to make these people hate him? Surely it was a mistake, right?

"Welcome to Ajruis-5, John Stewart." A Manhunter behind them stated, leaning forward so its mouth was close to the Lantern's ear. "Don't expect your stay to be a pleasant one." Ragna was about to say something, when a small pad floated towards them. A3A and the first Manhunters walked, Ragna and John followed, the two Manhunters were last. As they floated across the city, Ragna could hear all around him what these people called John, he had to admit while it hurt him how people treated him in Redgrave, John was on a whole new level.

"MURDERER!"

"DAMN YOU, LANTERN!"

"YOU DESERVE TO ROT, SCUM!"

One of the civilians threw a strange looking object, splattering across John's left cheek, the Lantern sneering in disgust as he tried to wipe away the fruit.

"John…..what did you do?" Ragna thought, wondering if he should look at John in shock or curiosity. Looking up ahead, Ragna noticed a large dome-like building, and in front of the door was a group of aliens. Each one was different: One looked nearly human save for the beastial features on his face, the one next to him was a huge alien with broad chest and shoulders, a square jaw and ruby eyes. One that looked like larvae with multiple tentacles and poofy orange hair. What appeared to be a head with arms and legs, a featherless bird man with fins, and another figure behind them all who Ragna couldn't see.

"He was the best of us, that's for sure, but now look at him.." The spherical lantern said, disdain in his voice. The landing pad stopped, the Manhunters dragging the two heroes between them. John stopped, turning his attention to the group of Lanterns, a small frown on his lips.

"Galius, Arkkis, Kilowog." John said, gesturing to the beastial, ball, and massive lantern. He considered them great allies and friends in his time as a Lantern. "Good to see you."

"Wish I could say the same thing, Stewart." Arkkis said, glaring at the Lantern he once considered a comrade.

"You're a disgrace to the Corp, you do not deserve that ring." Galius said, floating up to John's face.

"Hey! Back off!" Ragna said, standing between John and the others. "GL is a great Lantern and a hero."

"No one asked you, so stay out of this, little earthling." Arkkis growled, crossing his arms, and making a mockery of this earthling's height.

"Get these cuffs off me and I'll show you how far I'll kn-!"

"Just drop it, rookie." John grunted, cutting off Ragna. "Get me out of here." The Manhunters pulled John away, with Ragna slowly following behind, when his eyes landed on the final Lantern there. He finally got a good looki of them, and his eyes widened for a second, a small blush on his cheeks.

It was a girl, light purple skin and orange hair tied in a ponytail, purple lips and pointed ears like an elf. Her armor consisted of a green and black skin tight suit, shoulder pads, sleeves that reached her elbows showing some skin, and thigh high green armor showing more skin. She was leaning against the wall, tilting her head in his direction. The two stared at each other, only for a hand to gain Ragna's attention, turning to A3A, two Manhunters behind her.

"Please, keep moving." A3A ordered, Ragna obliged, taking one last look at the girl before entering the large facility. The two Manhunters behind them bumped into Arkkis, making cry in annoyance and brushing himself off.

"Stupid machines." A Manhunter turned around, narrowing his eyes at the Lantern, only to be stopped by another.

"Not yet." The one said, the other nodded and they both followed after A3A and Ragna. The half devil looked over at A3A, the robot looking up ahead to catch the others.

"So…..what happens to me, now?" Ragna asked, gaining A3A attention, the Manhunter was around his size, not counting her flame like hair.

"John Stewart will still be punished, but your fate will be up to the court to decide. If it is some consolation, they will most likely spare you." A3A said.

"That's comforting…..and uh, sorry for the fight back on Earth. No hard feelings?" Ragna muttered.

"I do not hold grudges….soon it will not even matter." A3A said.

"That's…..ominous." Ragna said, taking a step away from A3A, before turning his attention to John. "What about John? What will happen to him?"

"...That is for the court to decide." A3A stated, guiding Ragna into an area where multiple individuals were held by pillars of orange light. Ragna and John walked into a silver circle, cuffs removed from their arms, as the orange light surrounding them.

"We will return." A3A stated, turning around and walking away with the Manhunters behind her, leaving the two heroes alone. Ragna rubbed his wrists, before turning to John, trying to find an idea to comfort the Lantern.

"Ya know, I could easily level this place, if you want to try and es-!"

"No."

"O-OKay, well maybe I can start drilling into the metal and m-!"

"No."

"I-I can start a ri-!"

"Kid." John's stern tone cut off Ragna, glaring at the young hero. "I never asked you to come along, I never asked you to fight the Manhunters that caused more destruction than it should have, and I definitely don't need you trying to defend me for what…..for what I did." John said solemnly, looking away and hanging his head low. Ragna realized that John's anger was more directed at himself, he merely let it all out on Ragna. Realizing he still wasn't helping, Ragna stood beside John, looking up and gazing at the stars above.

"You know….this is my first time in space." Ragna mused, John looked up and narrowed at the kid, but Ragna continued. "I've been in a couple dimensions and creepy places, but I never was able to travel into the final frontier. It must be so cool, seeing billions of planets, I bet you've seen and saved a lot of lives." Ragna said, turning to John with a small smile on his face. John sighed, turning away and looking up at the stars.

"So…...what is a Green Lantern? Is that like your superhero name, or?" Ragna asked, hoping to change the subject and maybe lighten the mood.

"It's both. Green Lantern's are peacekeepers of the Universe, usually one overlooking a single sector. I overlook Sector 2814, where Earth is." John explained, Ragna eyes widened in awe.

"And I thought overlooking Redgrave City in a single night was a lot of work." Ragna mused.

"Hmm." John smirked for a single second before frowning again.

"John….what happened?" Ragna asked. John looked at Ragna, an innocent look on his face as the half devil tilted his head to the side, before sighing in defeat.

"I was chasing after a ship of spice traders and pirates, stopping them from selling powerful ion cannons. I chased them to Ajuris-4, one of my shots ricocheted off a ship, crashing into the earth. It ended up causing a cataclysmic chain reaction…...that's where it used to be." Ragna was confused on what he meant, until he followed John's gaze and saw what appeared to be a ring of asteroids. Putting two and two together, Ragna realized that somehow John had destroyed a world, full of civilians and all.

"W-What? No….No that can't be true." Ragna couldn't believe it, backing away from John until his back hit the cage wall. He slowly slid down it, hand on his head at the implication, he could just imagine it now. Billions of people, screaming in fear and anguish, before being reduced to atoms. He couldn't, it just…..he didn't know how to react. Before he could ask anything, the clacking of footsteps made the two turn to see A3A and the Manhunters walking towards them.

"They are ready." A3A said, deactivating the shield and cuffing John again. Ragna stood up and was cuffed as well, A3A grabbing his arm and pulling him along as they followed John and the other Manhunters. Once they exited the area, Ragna could hear the distant chatter, men and women arguing amongst each other. They entered a large room with rows upon rows of seats behind them occupying a multitude of aliens, with a strange screen in the center. Ragna was led to the side with A3A and a Manhunter by his side, as two led John to the center where a pad guided him into the air where another alien stood waiting for him. Looking around, Ragna saw John's old comrades sitting a few seats above him, the only one to notice him was the girl. She looked out of the corner of her eyes at him before looking away. Turning back to John, Ragna watched as the screen came to life, when three silver narrow faces appeared.

"John Stewart, you have been brought before the Triumvirate Court of the Ajuris System, for your crime of Ajuris-4. Prepared to be judged." The three heads echoed around the room, one more feminine than the rest.

"His power ring." A Manhunter stated, placing it down on a platform between John and the tall alien, no doubt the prosecutor.

"Do you have anything to say before you are judged, John Stewart?" One of the three asked.

"With all due respect, your Honors. There is no excuse for this horror, and there can be no escape from punishment." The Prosecutor snarled, glaring at John. "An example must be made."

"Wait!" Ragna jumped into the air, landing in front of John before anyone could blink, surprising everyone in the room.

"Who dares interrupt?" One of the three heads asked.

"John is a good person, I don't believe he would do what you think he did." Ragna said, hoping to bring reason to the three judges.

"What you believe is not the same as what he did do. He committed a crime so disgusting, so horrible, there can be no mercy for it." The Prosecutor said, glaring at the small earthling.

"Is this an accomplice, John Stewart?" One of the Judges asked.

"No." John grunted, pulling Ragna aside. "He's just a dumb kid who should keep his mouth shut and stay out of business that isn't his."

"John….." Ragna muttered, shoulders slumped at the small jab at him. John shook his head, why couldn't the kid see that he was just trying to keep him out of trouble. He swears this kid has taken a few hits to the head, a literal embodiment of 'thick skull'. A3A and a Manhunter flew up, the main leader of the robots, grabbing Ragna by his armpits and lifting him up.

"Why is he cuffed? What is his crime?" One of the judges asked, the Prosecutor's finger's moved across his monitor, before turning to the three Judges.

"The Manhunters reports state he is from the same planet as John, an Earthling. He and a group of costumed weirdos-!"

"Hey."

"-fought the Manhunters until John arrived and surrendered." The Judges looked at one another, then back at Ragna.

"There are no records of John Stewart having an accomplice, however his actions in trying to subdue the Manhunters in their mission, he too shall be punished." The feminine head stated, shocking Ragna. The Manhunter's lowered Ragna down, letting him gain his footing, as the heads looked down at him.

"Speak your name, earthling, and why you wished to try and defend John Stewart." Ragna sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he had to explain to them why he couldn't.

"My real name is classified, secret identity and all that, but on Earth I am one of many heroes, my name is Sparda and I-!"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" All three heads roared, catching Ragna by surprise, jumping from his spot as a heavy silence filled the room. Ragna heard that sort of tone before, how could he forget? It was the same shock the Imperium had when he introduced himself.

"Did you say your name is Sparda?" The Prosecutor asked, his eyes widened, a shaking finger pointing at Ragna.

"U-Uh…..yes." Ragna asked, shrugging his shoulders as he took a step back and prepared for any fight that was about to happen.

"T-That is impossible, Sparda has not been sighted in decades, you can't be him." One of the Judges croaked.

"Remove his binds." The main Manhunter nodded and grabbed Ragna's wrists, pulling off his cuffs.

"Now remove your hood and masked, earthling." The middle head said. Ragna reached up and pulled his masks off, putting them in the inside of his pocket. Reaching up, Ragna pulled off the hood of his jacket, letting his ponytail dangle. Shocks and gasps echoed across the room, save for a few, making Ragna look around in worry.

"H-He has the same hair, and those eyes." The feminine one said.

"Oh no." Ragna thought.

"Anyone can have that hair, it proves nothing." The left headed Judge said.

"But if he is their son…." The middle one trailed off, catching Ragna's attention.

"Hold on, you know both my parents?" Ragna asked.

"And who are your parents, earthling?" The feminine one asked, making Ragna raise an eyebrow.

"Sparda and Eva." Ragna stated. For a second, Ragna could've sworn the eyes widened for a fraction of a second, before looking at each other.

"He is the Savior's son." The feminine one stated.

"Wait? Savior?" Ragna asked. "You knew my parents?"

"Yes, Son of Sparda and Eva. Your father came to our system cycles ago, saving our world from an evil force known only as the Dominators. Your father repelled them, and your mother helped rebuild our civilization. For that we were forever in their debt." Ragna was shocked, his parents were far more famous then he realized. Yeah he knew all of Hell hated them, but how far was their influence in the universe?

"What is your name, Son of Sparda?" The middle head asked.

"Ragna…..Ragna Redgrave." Seeing as they did not deem him as a threat, heck, it was quite the opposite now. He had no reason to hide his secret identity.

"Ragna, Son of Sparda, we pardon you of your crimes, for your parents." Ragna eyes widened in shock, a large smile reached from ear to ear, turning to John.

"YES! John did ya hear? We've been pardoned!" Ragna cheered, John merely looked at Ragna with wide eyes. In all his years as a Lantern, he had never heard of Sparda or Eva, but maybe it is because they were not treated as gods or that these beings have lived longer than he has.

"No." Ragna stopped his cheering, turning back to the judges. "Your charges have been dropped, Son of Sparda, but John must still pay for his crimes."

"But can't you let him go, for my parent's sake?" Ragna asked, trying to appease the judges with his parents' savior status.

"We owe your parents a great debt for what they did, and in turn you. However, that does not include the pardon of others, especially that of John Stewart's." The feminine one said.

"But h-!" Ragna sniffed the air, smelling the distinct smell of smoke, looking up he noticed someone burning a hole into the glass wall. This gained everyone's attention, as the hole grew big enough to let three people in.

"GUYS!" Ragna cheered happily, seeing J'onn, Hawkgirl, and Diana land a bit away from them. Hopping off the podium, Ragna ran up to them, stopping in front of J'onn. "How did you find us?"

"I was able to telepathically locate John, after that we simply took a ship." J'onn explained, before grunting as Ragna pulled him into a hug and swung him in a circle surprising everyone.

"Well I'm glad to see you guys! You won't believe it but my mom and dad are saviors in this system. They just pardoned me for fighting the Manhunters."

"So does that mean you can get them to let John go?" Hawkgirl asked, glaring at the three silver heads.

"No. John must still pay for his crimes." The middle one said.

"Not if we have anything to say." Diana growled, stepping up, only for an arm to stop her.

"Wait." J'onn interjected, turning to the Judges. "We apologize for interrupting this meeting, but John is a valued member to the Justice League."

"...This is a public trial." The feminine one whispered, seeing no reason why they shouldn't be here.

"...Very well. You may take your seats in the gallery with the Son of Sparda."

"But this tribunal will not tolerate any further outbursts." The middle one stated.

"Thank you, Your Honor." J'onn said, flying over to some empty seats in the corner with Diana behind him. Hawkgirl grabbed Ragna and pulled him up, Ragna looking at John with worry. Once Ragna sat down, Hawkgirl took a seat between him and Diana with J'onn on the other side of Diana.

"Call in the first witness, Kanjar Ro." The Prosecutor ordered. The four heroes watched as an alien in blue armor walked in with a hunch.

"Jeez, he even looks like a rat." Hawkgirl growled, she has been plenty to bars in the universe, and has seen sleazy little rats and he was no different. Her and the others fell on deaf ears as Ragna stared intently at the scene before him, deep in thought. He just didn't know what to think, he was in awe that his parents' influence spanned even across the stars, but he couldn't save John. He could've sworn he heard Kanjar call himself a pirate, before gesturing to John like he was even worse than him. The boy was unaware that he was balling his fist in anger.

He couldn't see how John was guilty, it just didn't make sense, why would John run away. Was it out of shame? No, that would be cowardly, and John didn't seem to fit that character. Not to mention it didn't add up, he was strong, not to toot his own sword but he had enough power to split Redgrave in two back when he fought his first demon lord, Botis. He was able to get the slip on John when they all first met, taking his ring, it just didn't seem like John had the sort of manpower to destroy an entire planet by himself. A chain reaction might help, but John made it sound like it was instantaneous, was that even possible with just a simple laser blast?

Ragna didn't know what he should feel, or what he can do now, listening to Kanjar retelling the tale of how John blew up Ajuris-4. Ragna wasn't a genius, but his intuition and heroic gut feeling was telling him that Kanjar word was not to be trusted. I mean come on, he's a frickin pirate!

"We shall take recess. We will regroup in 20 pentacycles." The Judges said, before disappearing. Many of the aliens left their seats, Ragna hopped off the gallery and landed on the ground while the others floated behind him. John podium floated down to the ground, walking off and towards the others.

"So you surrendered so you could clear your name?" Hawkgirl asked, she may not be on a personal level with GL, but he seemed like the kind of man who would just run away.

"I told you to stay out of this." John whispered harshly.

"We couldn't let them take you away for a crime you didn't commit." Diana said, as Hawkgirl watched Kanjar leave.

"That snake is hiding something, give me a few minutes with him." Hawkgirl offered, resting her mace over her shoulder to illustrate her point.

"Hawkgirl, Wonder Woman, all of you!" John stated, catching the heroes by surprise. "Listen to me. Nobodies lying. You see that asteroid field up there?" John gestured to the valley of rocks floating nearby.

"It was me. I did it."

"...I don't believe it." The others looked over at Ragna, his back to them, staring up where the planet originally was from.

"Ragna, I already told you I-!"

"I don't believe you, and I have a gut feeling that deep down you don't believe yourself." Ragna declared, turning back to John. He couldn't believe it, he didn't want to believe it. Ragna had no idea what he was gonna do, but he wasn't gonna stand by and let a fellow hero suffer. "Everything about this is a load of crap, and I can't be the only one thinking about it." Ragna gestured to the others, making his way towards John. "I'm not gonna stand here and let a hero give his life away for a crime he didn't commit." Ragna declared, clenching his fist.

"Kid, there is nothing you can do to prove my innocence." Ragna frowned, turning his back to John, clenching his fist in anger.

"Maybe you can't, but we can!" Ragna said, gesturing to the others. "We're heroes, we should be able to clear your name. Are you with me guys?"

"Like you even need to ask." Hawkgirl chuckled.

"I knew there was something wrong with all of this, we must help John anyway we can." J'onn stated. He was not able to read Kanjar's mind, he must have been wearing that helmet just for that, or perhaps his species was immune to telepath.

"I will give it my all to clear Green Lantern's name." Diana declared cheerfully. John was surprised, seeing the ones he considered newbies so merrily band together to clear his name.

"So what is the plan, Ragna?" J'onn asked.

"...To be honest I'm kind of winging it at this point, I didn't think this all the way through." Ragna admitted, scratching the back of his head.

"I swear, you are the epitome of 'thick skulled'." Hawkgirl muttered.

"Perhaps we should investigate the asteroid that was once the planet." J'onn suggested, turning to Diana. "Diana, would you accompany me there?"

"Of course." Diana said.

"Good. Ragna, try anywhere you can to keep them busy or even clear John's name." J'onn ordered, Ragna gave the Martian a mock salute. "Hawkgirl, make sure he doesn't get in worse trouble."

"You got it." Hawkgirl said, as J'onn and Diana started making their way out of the courtroom. Ragna eyes widened as he looked at Diana's waist, an idea popping in his head.

"Diana wait!" Ragna caught up to the Amazon, Hawkgirl and John couldn't hear the two, but they watched as Diana handed Ragna something, the half-devil nodding his head possibly saying thanks before he walked back to the two putting something in his coat.

"What did you ask her for?" Hawkgirl asked.

"You'll see during court." Ragna said, crossing his arms.

"This is never going to work, kid." John said, shaking his head.

"Have some faith in me John." Ragna said, when he heard footsteps behind him, turning around he saw Hawkgirl walking away. "Where are you going?"

"Those Green Lanterns left during the case, I'm gonna have a nice talk with them." Ragna didn't even need to hear the tone in her voice to know the implication.

"I thought you were supposed to keep me out of trouble?"

"I am, I never said I wouldn't get myself into trouble." Hawkgirl said, grinning ear to ear as she walked out of the room.

"Now what?" John asked, rolling his eyes.

"Like I said, I'm winging it as I go along." Ragna said, taking a few steps towards the podium. "Hey! Triumvirate of Judges or whatever!"

"What is it, Son of Sparda and Eva?" The three heads asked simultaneously, appearing before the half-devil.

"I know John is innocent, and this whole trial seems kind of unfair, where are the lawyers?" Ragna asked.

"We solved our lawyer problem a long time ago." The middle head said.

"Well then, allow me to reintroduce myself. Sparda: Hero of Redgrave City, member of Justice League, half devil, and temporary lawyer." Ragna said, hands on the rim of his coat. "I'm gonna prove John's innocence and find out who really blew up the planet!" The three heads looked at each other, having some form of mental debate, before turning back to Ragna.

"Very well, Son of Sparda, you shall stand in defense for John Stewart." The left head said, Ragna letting out a small cheer, rubbing his nose.

"Sweet…...Though just out of curiosity how did you solve your lawyer issue?" Ragna asked.

"Should you fail to prove John's innocence, you will share his punishment, regardless of your title."

"...Oh."

"Oh brother." John rubbed his forehead.

(A Devil's Justice)

"What happened to you?" Ragna asked, looking to his right to see Hawkgirl walking towards him. Ten minutes have passed, over time many of the denizens took their seats, Ragna leaning on the wall pumping himself up.

"I told you, I wanted a talk with those Lanterns…..I think it went rather well." Hawkgirl mused, gesturing to the group of Lanterns walking in, rubbing their cheeks or arms, save for Kilowog and the girl.

"Did you convince them that John was innocent?" Ragna asked.

"Something like that. That Kilowog and girl didn't need much convincing, the others needed a more on-hands approach." Hawkgirl stated cryptically. "So, got a plan to clear John's name?"

"Something like that." Ragna answered, rubbing his chin, until he noticed Kanjar Ro walk in. "That guy doesn't sit well with me."

"Yeah, he is up to something. When I was leaving, I saw him talking to one of those Manhunters." Hawkgirl whispered, eyes trained on Kanjar, Ragna narrowed his eyes in deep thought. Looking around he started noticing something was out of place, he couldn't quite put it together. Hearing a beeping noise, Ragna reached into his pocket and pulled out the League communicator.

"Ragna, can you hear me?" J'onn's voice asked over the other end.

"Loud and clear, Big Green, did you find anything?" Ragna asked, Hawkgirl leaning in to listen.

"More than that, Diana and I believe we're standing on Ajuris-4 moon." That made Ragna and Hawkgirl's head pop up, looking at each other in confusion.

"Shouldn't the moon have been destroyed or launched out of orbit?" Hawkgirl asked.

"Exactly. Something isn't right about this." J'onn said. Ragna rubbed his chin, if the moon was still there, then was Ajuris-4 there as well?

"See if you can find anything out of the ordinary, I'll call you back when I got anything new. Good luck J'onn, you too Diana."

"Thank you, Ragna." The Amazon said over the other line, as Ragna ended the call.

"So what happens now?" Hawkgirl asked, Ragna turned his head to her. He couldn't help but get lost in her eyes, it was one of the few relaxing things he could do right now, with how hectic everything has been. As he was about to answer her, the three Judges reappeared, gaining everyone's attention.

"The court is back in session, we will allow you to speak on John's behalf, Son of Sparda." The middle head stated.

"Wait, what?" Hawkgirl asked incredulously.

"Wish me luck." Ragna said, running towards the podium.

"Hold on, what?!" Hawkgirl asked, only to put two and two together. "...Oh no." Ragna hopped onto the podium, hovering towards the three judges, and turning to the gallery. However, the minute he laid eyes upon them, Ragna froze. He forgot how many people were here, and he was never one to be the center of attention, at least not in a large crowd like this. A few people are different, but seeing nearly five dozen alien-like creatures and others staring up at him all at once made him feel more nervous then he should be. Turning his podium, he decided to just focus on the Judges, hoping to calm his nerves.

"Do it for John. Do it for John." Ragna berated himself internally.

"Well?"

"R-Right! Okay, so here are the facts people. One: John is a Green Lantern, who are basically a space police force." Ragna explained. "They create green inanimate objects from a ring (That also looks like what you get from an old cereal box), and….. Fact Two: Our only source from the scene of the crime is a pirate!" Ragna stated, pointing at Kanjar Ro. "I mean can we really take his evidence as fact? He's a pirate, that's like the first red flag."

"You saying I'ma lying, ya little weasel!" Kanjar growled.

"Yes! You're a pirate, I'd be shocked if you were telling the truth." Ragna fired back, turning back to the Judges.

"I'm done for." John muttered under his breath.

"Your Honor, members of the court, as a hero John and I take an oath to always protect the innocent. We would sacrifice our lives if it meant saving a single planet. But if you don't understand, let me give you my reasoning why it doesn't make sense." Ragna started, pulling his arm out.

"Now I'm pretty strong, I'd face a demon that tried to nuke my hometown, and I'd say John is pretty equal with me if not a little above. I don't have the power to blow up a planet with my own strength, and in the span of one second I already have John's ring in hand." Ragna illustrated, revealing the green ring, whispers among the crowd, as Ragna twirled the ring around his fingers. "Even if we go by the chain reaction, what was the time between the first reaction to the explosion of the world? It just doesn't add up, especially from the surface all the way to the core." Ragna took a moment to breathe.

"I also believe John would never run from a crime, I believe he was in fact trying to find resolve and figure out who framed him and why, because he is a good man, and is innocent." Ragna finished, leaving the entire court in silence, either in awe or confusion, he didn't care. The Prosecutor floated over, a stoic expression over his face as he stared back at Ragna.

"That is a very moving and heartfelt case, young man." Ragna smiled, however it would drop at the next few words. "Sadly, that is all you can give, you have proven no evidence that John didn't cause the destruction of the planet. Do you have any?"

"I…..no." Ragna said, scratching the back of his head.

"Do you have any evidence he was framed other than Kanjar profession? That all Green Lanterns are good guys from past experiences other than your bias?"

"...No." Ragna muttered, rubbing his arm.

"You have no evidence, you have no proof, and you have wasted everyone's time." The Prosecutor finished.

"But he is innocent, why would he be a Green Lantern?" Ragna asked.

"That is a good question, who would give this man, or any person in this entire galaxy the power to authorize force?" The Prosecutor asked.

"We did." All heads turned to a new voice, several beings entering the room. They were incredibly short, reaching John's new caps, wearing red robes with the Green Lantern symbol on their chests, skin blue as berries, snow white hair like Ragna, and eyes green as emeralds. They floated above the ground, hovering to Ragna level, said hero heard the whispers among the crowd.

"The Guardians of the Universe. An honor to have you here." The middle Judge stated. The Guardians bowed their heads, one of them turned to Ragna, a small smile on his head.

"Thank you, young man, we will take it from here." The Guardian said, Ragna nodded his head and floated away from them. Hawkgirl walked up as he stepped back, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"How'd I do?" Ragna asked, smiling.

"...I'd think you should stick to being a hero." Hawkgirl mused, making Ragna internally weep. Ragna shook his head, turning back to the floating Guardians, a curious gaze over his features.

"Who are they?" Ragna asked.

"I heard about these guys, not much but enough. Apparently these guys are one of the oldests creatures in the Universe, living on some planet at the center of the universe." Hawkgirl explained.

"Wow." Ragna muttered.

"No other questions!" The Prosecutor stated, cutting off the Guardian explaining the reason for the Lantern Corp, and gaining the two heroes attention. "How much more must we hear? We demand an immediate judgement!"

"Wait! You can't! I object!" Ragna said, pointing at the Judges.

"Overruled." The three judges stated. John Ragna knew this was gonna be his last shot, and he needed to use it now.

"Hold on! I have one last thing that could prove John's innocent." Ragna blourted, walking forward.

"Not this again." The Prosecutor grumbled.

"Kid, I told you, just drop it!" John stated, glaring at Ragna, but it fell on deaf ears as Ragna reached into his coat and pulled out a golden lasso.

"What is it?" The middle judge asked, as the crowd whispered amongst themselves, and Hawkgirl now understood what Ragna asked of Diana.

"This is called the Lasso of Truth, it compels all that I have tangled to reveal secrets." Ragna explained, for a split second he could've sworn he heard someone gulp.

"How do we know this actually works?" The Prosecutor asked.

"Great question, Hawkgirl?" Hawkgirl let out an annoyed grumble, knowing exactly what was coming next. She begrudgingly stepped forward and let Ragna wrap the lasso around her wrist.

"What is a secret you have, Hawkgirl?"

"I love milkshakes, ever since you introduced me to them it's all I wanted I love fighting, it gives me excitement in life, and I love to bash your skull in, especially when you have a lasso around my fu-!"

"Okay, point proven." The Prosecutor interjected, Ragna quickly took the lasso off, a scared expression on his face. Hawkgirl glared at Ragna, who chuckled nervously. However, the two slowly turned their attention to someone else, glaring into his very soul.

"Hey, Kanjar Ro." Ragna started, walking towards the pirate. "I'd like to ask you a few questions."

"N-No, stay back!" The pirate tried to take a step back, but a red blur and Ragna had him tied up.

"Now, my first question…..did you frame Green Lantern?" Ragna asked, everyone watched as the lasso glowed brighter, and Kanjar let out a sickening groan, shaking in his boots.

"Y….Ye….YES!I framed him, I was paid to frame him." Kanjar cried, a wave of gasps echoed across the room. John was shocked, not believing his own ears, before that shock turned to anger.

"You what?!" The Green Lantern roared in anger, taking angry steps towards the lowlife. Kanjar tried to take a step back, but he bumped into Hawkgirl and Ragna kept a tight hold over him.

"Called it. Now my second question, was Ajuris-4 destroyed?"

"Y-Y-NO! No it wasn't, we placed a machine on the moon that is projecting a hologram over it." Ragna smiled victoriously, pulling out his communicator and calling J'onn.

"J'onn, can ya hear me? Ajuris-4 is under some form of hologram, with some machine on the moon." Ragna said.

"I believe we have already found it." J'onn said, from his end both he and Diana in space suits were staring at a large mechanism that dug into the moon's crust.

"Think you guys can shut it off?" Hawkgirl asked, bouncing her mace off her hand to intimidate Kanjar.

"I know what to do." Diana said over the line. Ragna heard the Amazon let out a fierce battle cry over his end, before a large explosion followed afterwards. Everyone looked up, as something started appearing within the vastness of space and took form in the shape of the sphere. The crowd gasped and dropped their jaws, as Kanjar sweated even more.

"You…" John growled, walking towards Kanjar with heavy footsteps, Hawkgirl placed her hand in front of John, just in case he tried and broke Kanjar before her…..and of course to make sure they can get more answers. "Who paid you? Who?"

"The….The Manhunters."

"What?" Ragna asked, looking down at Kanjar. "Why would the Manhunter's pay you to frame John?"

"I-I don't know." Kanjar admitted, being wrapped around the lasso Ragna knew he had to be telling the truth. Ragna was confused, why would the Manhunter's frame John? Better yet, why do it in general? Looking around, pieces started being put together as he realized what had been so out of place in the courtroom.

"Where are the Manhunters?" Ragna asked, gaining everyone's attention as they looked around and saw that the robots were nowhere in sight.

"Where the hell are they going?" Hawkgirl asked, gesturing to the Guardians floating away.

"Let's ask them." Ragna said, pulling the lasso off Kanjar and walking towards GL. He grabbed the man's wrists and easily broke the binds, afterwards he reached into his pocket and handed GL his ring.

"Ya ready, GL?" John grabbed his ring, the green glow around his body appearing. John looked at Ragna, trying to think of something to say, this wasn't his strong suit

. Taking a big sigh, John nodded his head.

"Yeah, let's go."

(A Devil's Justice)

"We're too late." One of the Guardians muttered, looking around the large empty room. The Guardians were currently looking in one of the many dorms the Manhunters were stationed at across the Universe. They were however, too late to stop them, and they knew exactly where they were going.

"We must hurry." A female one said, the Guardians quickly floated out of the room in perfect order.

"Hey, took me second, but I found you guys." A powerful gust of wind followed as Ragna appeared before the Guardians. "What the heck is going?"

"We don't have time for this." The lead Guardian said, floating around Ragna only for Hawkgirl to land in front of them.

"Then let's make time, how are you guys connected to all of this?" Hawkgirl asked, macing placed over her shoulder.

"You don't understand, we must make haste." The lead guardian said, until Green Lantern landed next to Hawkgirl.

"Where did the Manhunter's go?"

"Headed back to Oa." The Guardian explained.

"Back to Oa? They've been there?" John asked.

"A long time ago….we created them there." The Guardian said, hanging their heads low.

"I'm sorry, what?" Ragna asked, cleaning his ear out in case he heard them right.

"It was before the Lantern corp. We thought robots would make good peacekeepers, but they were flawed. They couldn't understand the subtle gradation between good and evil." The Guardian explained.

"Why did you decommission them?" Hawkgirl asked.

"We reprogrammed them for lesser duties. Tracking, hunting, guarding, they didn't seem to object." He explained.

"Not out loud it seems." Ragna stated, crossing his arms. "What could they want on this Oa?"

"If we had to guess, it is the Green Lantern Central Battery." A female Guardian stated.

"The what?" Ragna asked.

"It is the main source for all Green Lanterns, where the physical energy of willpower resigns." The main Guardian said. "It was the source for their power, at least for the second phase. The ones you see are our prototypes that we were able to reprogram."

"What happens if they get the battery?" John asked.

"All Lanterns will lose control of their rings, and we fear what will become of the Manhunter's should they take that power." The Guardian said.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Ragna asked, reaching into his pocket. "J'onn? Get back here, we gotta catch up with those Manhunters!"

(A Devil's Justice)

War razed across the emerald world, as Manhunters flew towards the ground, a multitude of Lanterns from all across the Universe firing and swinging constructs at the onslaught. Manhunters blew up and Green Lanterns were shot down, all the while the central power battery was protected by a large green dome.

"Onward, Manhunters, towards the Battery!" The lead Manhunter roared, waves upon waves of Manhunters flew towards the central battery. Five Guardians stood around the central battery, green energy flowing around their body and into the air, forming the green dome.

"Don't let up, they're weakening!" The leader said, leading his Manhunters. The Manhunter's kept firing, pushing past Green Lanterns, their blasts forming cracks on the green dome as the Guardians strained to hold their concentration.

"They can't hold out fo-!"

"DYNAMIC ENTRY!" A voice called out, a red blur tackling one Manhunter, then another, and another, until several were sent towards the ground, an explosion of fire and metal ripped the sky. A battle cry echoed across the sky as Wonder Woman flew straight first into a Manhunter, tearing it in half. Martian Manhunter phased through several, pulling out their 'brains' and letting them explode. Hawkgirl swung her mace, smashing their heads off like baseballs, and Green Lantern fired green blasts from his ring. A red blur and several Manhunter's were sliced into ribbons, Ragna resting his sword over his shoulder as the others joined him, same for the Guardians. The ship they took was being piloted by a Guardian who remained behind to land the ship.

"Okay, everyone," Green Lantern started, "Keep those Manhunter's from getting to that Central Battery."

"Already on it." Ragna said, turning to the lead Guardian. "You don't mind if we break your toys, right?"

"By all means." The Guardian said, floating back. Ragna disappeared in a red flash, slicing through Manhunter's left and right as the others followed. Several Manhunter's tackled Wonder Woman, crashing through several walls, rocks crumbling around them. Wonder Woman pulled herself out of the rubble, looking to her right to find the Manhunter's aiming their staffs at her.

"Take her down!" One Manhunter ordered, firing from his staff and the others following. The Amazon raised her gauntlets with lightning reflexes, blocking each and every shot, not taking a single hit. The Manhunter's stopped their firing, the smoke clearing to reveal Wonder Woman unscathed and unharmed, lowering her arms with a scowl on her face. If the Manhunter's could feel fear, they would be shaking in their boots at the Amazonians deadly gaze. A blink of an eye, and Wonder Woman fist went right through one's head. The Princess of the Amazons pulled her fist back and blitzed another, blowing out it's chassis. The remaining Manhunter's stood their ground, one taking a step back before Wonder Woman turned to them.

The next blow reduced the building to rubble.

Martian Manhunter flew through the robots with relative ease, becoming tangible again. His arms morphed into spike balls and stretched them around through several Manhunter's, firing heat visions from his eyes. Two Manhunter's tackled J'onn through several buildings, the Martian body morphing into an apex predator on his home planet long ago, brown tendrils on his back, four bipedal legs, and one yellow eye. Razor teeths sank into the Manhunter's head, ripping it off. The beast roared and ripped and clawed the Manhunter's to pieces, before morphing into a new animal, a long narrowed like worm creature with wings, ripping through the Manhunter's with relative ease leaving some Green Lantern's in shock.

Hawkgirl mace smashed through a Manhunter's head, sending the body into another Manhunter. She flew across the skies like a literal hawk, her claws ready, in this case her mace as it tore through metal like paper. Hawkgirl twirled her mace like rope, before throwing through the sky, tearing apart Manhunter's as it collided into the wall. Hawkgirl pulled her fist back, knocking a head clean off. One tried to swing at her with its staff, but she stopped it with her fist, Hawkgirl pulled her head back. Hawkgirl let out a roar of anger, bashing the Manhunter's metal frame into scrap. Hawkgirl flew towards her mace, pulling it out of the metal wall, before turning to face more. The Manhunters fired beams of electricity at Hawkgirl, she held her mace out, absorbing the lightning like a conduit. The Manhunter's stopped their attack, realizing what they had done but it was too late, Hawkgirl charging at them with a volt charged mace.

The lead Manhunter did not understand how this could be, how were they so easily destroying the Manhunter's? Did they get stronger? No, they must have been holding back during their confrontation on Earth. They needed to hurry and get that battery, they must have their vengeance.

Ragna dashed across the lower levels of the city, slicing through the Manhunters with relative ease. His focus was taking down Manhunter's as fast as he could while also making his way towards the central battery. He wouldn't mind after all this is over to do some sight seeing, cutting a Manhunter in half. He stopped mid run as a beam nearly hit his toe, Ragna looked up to see several Manhunter's floating above him.

"No man escapes the Manhunters." One Manhunter said, their staff glowing. Ragna was about to prepare for a fight, before a green blur phased right through the Manhunters. Ragna heard footsteps, looking back he saw the same girl on Ajuris in his path, twin blade constructs in hand. Ragna eyes widened as several clumps of Manhunter robots landed in front of him, the girl looking over her shoulder. Ragna smiled, giving her a thumbs up, the girl looked away before dashing off, slicing more Manhunter's in their path.

"Stay out of our way!" Ragna looked up to find A3A flying towards him, Ragna flicked his sword and blocked the swing. "For too long have the Manhunter's been used as nothing more than mindless slaves, but not today, no man can stop the Manhunters." Ragna sighed, flicking his sword and holstering it as A3A swung with great force. The streets cracked and broke apart, several buildings were leveled by the mere shockwave. If A3A could show features, it would be surprise as Ragna held her staff with both hands, his hands slightly straining. A3A activated her staff weaponry, volts of electricity surrounded Ragna's body, but the half devil showed no signs of pain.

"I don't know what pain the Manhunter's were in, A3A, but I know what they are doing is wrong." Ragna said, holding her staff with one hand and pulling the other back. The force of five nukes went off as Ragna fist rammed into A3A's cheek, sending her flying across the city. Ragna shook his hand of the steam it had, sighing in annoyance for what he did, before making his way towards the central battery.

The dome around the central battery started breaking, shards shattering as the Guardians within the dome fainted from exertion. The lead Manhunter floated through the dome as the Manhunter's started surrounding the Guardians and overpowering them.

"Manhunter! Stop!" The Manhunter turned around, only to find itself stuck in a green bubble courtesy of Green Lantern.

"Not until we gain what is rightfully ours!" The Manhunter stated.

"Yours?" GL asked, narrowing his eyes at the robot.

"The power that the Guardians stole from us!" The Manhunter pulled his staff back and stabbed it against the green sphere, releasing a blue wave that dispersed the sphere before firing at John. Green Lantern flew around the blasts and held his fist out, blue and green clashed as the two pushed against each other trying to gain the upper hand.

"It was never yours, it was always the Guardians!" Green Lantern grunted, his ring counting off the percentage his ring had, having not charged it in a long time.

"And they betrayed us! Just as they betrayed you!" The Manhunter said, breaking through Lantern's energy and electrocuting him in the chest, John cried out in pain. "This power is our destiny!" The Manhunter flung Green Lantern towards the wall.

"GL!" Ragna cried, landing on the ground after jumping up, and running towards Lantern to make sure he was okay. The Manhunter floated towards the battery entering it's central port, being consumed by the green energy.

"Oh no." Ragna muttered.

"RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" The Manhunter roared as green energy consumed it's entire being, destroying the exoshell as its body grew exponentially. All Lantern's stopped in their path at the sight of the mighty creature, towering over them.

"NOW I AM THE POWER!"

"Hey, Big Green!" The Manhunter looked down, only for something to slice at it's cheek. Looking around, a red flash dashed around it, cutting through the green energy like butter. Ragna reappeared in front of John, as the other Guardians watched from afar.

"Don't think for a second I'm gonna let you hurt anyone else, not while I'm still standing!" Ragna roared, the Manhunter roared before firing at Ragna. Ragna was about to dodge, but realized that John was still down and it was too late to think quickly. Ragna held his blade up to take the full blunt force, and while this wasn't the first time taking such a powerful force, this one definitely trumped all before.

"Ragna!" John cried as the half-devil took the full blunt force.

"GGGGAAAAAHHHHH!" Ragna cried, the green energy surrounding his body. The Manhunter stopped, seeing that he had already won, as Ragna's body was consumed by the energy of willpower. Ragna grinded his teeth as he tried to endure the pain, as it started dissipating, only his sword remained glowing green. Ragna groaned in pain, his knees buckling, before collapsing to the ground.

"Rookie!" John ran over to Ragna, checking if he was alright.

"You have lost, John Stewart!" The Manhunter growled, John turned his head to the Manhunter, a low growl escaping his throat.

"Not while I'm still standing." John rebutted, looking back at Ragna one last time, before standing back up and aiming his ring at the Manhunter. He might not be able to fight him, but the Manhunter was nothing more than a walking battery now, and his ring needed a recharge.

"In Brightest Day, in Blackest Night." John chanted, the green energy channeling towards his ring.

"WHAT?" The Manhunter roared, seeing that body too was being absorbed.

"No evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil's might!" The Manhunter was reduced to energy as it was absorbed into the ring. John's right arm shook vigorously, trying his best to contain all the power he could. He aimed his arm towards the central battery.

"Beware my power! GREEN LANTERNS LIGHT!" John released the energy into the central battery, the overload of will power caused the central battery to release a pillar of willpower. The Green Lantern's across the planet lifted their rings cheering in victory. Back at the battery, Ragna opened his eyes groaning in pain, seeing John on his knees beside him.

"I'm guessing we won?"

"Yeah….yeah we won." John said, Ragna chuckled softly, pointing at himself with his thumb.

"All because of my amazing skills in court." Ragna chuckled, groaning afterwards.

"...I think the world is a lot safer if you stay being a superhero."

(A Devil's Justice)

"How are you feeling, Ragna?" J'onn asked, seeing the young hero rub his wrists. It had been sometime after the fight, Lantern's were cleaning up all around them, John was speaking with the Guardians and his comrades, while the others stood by the ship.

"Well, it wasn't exactly fun, but they didn't leave a scratch on this beauty." Ragna said grinning, pointing at himself.

"...Yes, I am sure your sword is alright." J'onn said nonchalantly, making Hawkgirl chortle, while Ragna choked on his own spit, and Diana was just confused. Hearing footsteps, the four turned to John walking towards them.

"The Guardians want me to stick around for a bit, but they will understand if I want to go. I just wanted to say…..thanks." John started. "You believed in me. Even when I didn't believe in myself."

"Well of course, GL." Ragna said. "What are frie-!"

"Acquaintances." Hawkgirl corrected, pulling Ragna's hood over his face, a small smirk on her face. Ragna pulled his hood back up and smiled, looking back at GL.

"What are acquaintances for?" Ragna asked, John smirked at the kid. Everything seemed to be settling down and getting back to normal.

"Y-You!" All five heroes and a few Lanterns nearby turned to see one last Manhunter standing, but not just any, A3A. Her body was nearly beyond repairing, one leg and arm holding on by wires, sparks flying out of her head, her metal frame nearly torn apart. Her remaining robotic eye was trained on Ragna, who was shocked to see she was still kicking but kind of relieved in a way. "Y-You did this, we….w-we could have been freed!"

"Everyone watch out!" A lantern roared, several aiming their rings at A3A, ready to obliterate her.

"WAIT!" Ragna exclaimed, standing between everyone and A3A. Seeing that the others lowered their rings, Ragna turned to the last Manhunter.

"A3A, I know you wanted some vendetta against the Guardians but look around you. It's over, the Manhunter's lost. Please, don't do this." Ragna pleaded, trying to reason with the last remaining Manhunter.

"I-I may-may be the last. Bu-But I will rather d-die than remain a s-servant of the Guardians." A3A growled, what remained of her staff in her one working hand.

"I-I WILL TAKE YOU WITH ME!" She lunged her staff forward, but Ragna pulled his blade out, the staff connecting with his steel. What came next shocked everyone, the collision caused sparks to fly, but suddenly Ragna's sword started glowing. Diana was expecting his sword to burst into flames just like with the Imperium, but both she, and everyone was shocked when Ragna's sword illuminated with green energy like the lanterns. The energy shot from his blade into A3A staff, and into the Manhunter herself.

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" A3A screamed in anguish as she was consumed in a green light. Everyone held their guard expecting another giant energy Manhunter. However, they were surprised to see her exoskeleton turned white instead of black, and the green energy slowly wrapped around her like a cocoon. The energy exploded in a flash of green light, everyone covering their eyes, save the Guardians who watched in interest. One of them, the female, looked like she had just been caught with her hand in the cookie jar, which did not go unnoticed by some. Once the light died down, Ragna lowered his hand, his eyes widening as the cocoon opened up. Like a caterpillar, the manhunter known as A3A was gone, replaced by a beautiful butterfly. Her body was green, but several parts of her body were covered in white plating including her head. A3A eyes fluttered open, light green sclera with deep blues irises, as she took in her surroundings. The robot groaned before collapsing, falling into Ragna's arms, who slowly lowered her down and rested in his arms. He….he had no idea what to think or say, he just watched a robot possibly become a real girl…..at least that's what he thought. In her infinite wisdom, Hawkgirl voiced what everyone thought but didn't voice.

"What the hell just happened?!"

Damn, who would've thought that a seventeen year old would be a shitty lawyer. Lol.

I'm gonna be honest here, this chapter was really fun to make. But fuck did I hate this episode. I swear, Blackest Night is my least favorite two part episode within the JL cartoon. Like I never really hated John, when I was young and stupid I thought he was an asshole...but I also thought Boromir was an asshole too so there's that. But this episode was really fucking dumb. Let me list some reasons why:

One: The moon was still there. You can see Ajuris-4 and how close it is, can they not see the moon? You can't even say they couldn't see it because Superman and Manhunter saw it to land on it.

Two: There is three billion lives on that planet, I'm guessing civilization. 3 billion seems like a good number. Did no one have any relatives on that planet, and get a phone call? 'Hi sweetie, where are you calling me from? Ajuris-4?! The fuck'

Finally: WHY DID THEY TAKE THE WORDS OF KANJAR RO?! Yes they kind of addressed this because they were shocked he would walk in knowing he is a criminal. But does that not raise a bit of suspicion? The guy clearly addresses John was trying to fuck him over, do they not think he is incapable of lying, as it proves he was. I'd say this is just as dumn as LegalEagles defense of Captain Marvel but...no that's still pretty hard to beat.

Let's also address the power scaling in this part. So later down line in the series, when God Amazo returns and literally warps Oa out of his way, a group of over a dozen Lanterns (John included) go to take him on. With their combined power, they believed with their combined power (You can correct me if I am wrong) would wipe out half of earth. Let's not use any equations and just use common sense, that is at most Multi-Continent/Life wiper/surface wiper level. John at his base lvl is at most city/Mountain/large mountain lvl. You can say it happened via chain reaction, but man that explosion was instantaneous. It just did not make any sense for me, so I tried my best to not sound to logical but at least add some common sense when doing this. I wanted this chapter to do a group I don't usually see: J'onn, Diana, and Hawkgirl. I know they weren't the prime focus but I felt they were important regardless.

I skimmed through some things because this chapter was already fucking long and I just wanted to get through it. Oa is based on Green Lantern: The Animated Series style, or I guess comic style.

Have you guys read those one DC OC stories, where the OC instantly finds out John was framed by pointing out the moon, then knew the robots framed it even though they had no proof? No cap, I did that but smarter and thought out, let's fucking go. I am not bashing John by the way, I just feel like out of all the members he would like Ragna the least, and this is just the smart of a great friendship. It however, might reach a breaking point in the next story arc before it can even begin. Who knows.

My favorite parts were the lawyer scene, it was so much fun trying to make Ragna a lawyer, and the others telling him he sucks at it. Sparda and Eva have a very, VERY, VERY, big influence throughout all of creation, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The ending scene...I finally get to do what I wanted to do in my Crimson Knight of Ame Comi (Saiya knows what I'm talking about.) with A3A. It just took one chapter. One of my favorite DC girls have arrived.

I changed Kara to her G2 of DCSHG because my little sister loves watching it and makes me watch it. Plus she is absolutely a TSUNDERE in both show and story...Plus those fucking thighs.

Diana entire purpose was the lasso, I felt really bad, but this also does help lead into her understanding of Ragna in the next arc...while he is away. I needed a new way to expose Kanjar that would make sense, and what other way then McMuffin of Truth...I mean Lasso of Truth, lol.

Gonna be honest for the volumes I originally had six planned, but I was thinking if I should just spilt the three acts of each volume into volumes themselves and I would have eighteen volumes with way less more chapters. What do you guys think? After the poll closes I'll reiterate what I meant at the end of chapter eight.

Gonna go on a bit of a tangent here, so try to follow.

Finished Season 4 of Castlevania last night: FIRE.

Guys, again, I ate bread. The humility. Alright I'm done with that.

Is it furry to like Beastars?

I've been playing the hell out of Hollow Knight, I had it for the Game Pass on the Xbox but I just left it and then randomly deleted it. I bought it for the Switch and I decided fuck it...It's so fucking addicting. Gonna go for 112 Percent BABY!

BIG...ANIME...VAMPIRE...TIDDIES...Turns into mutated dragon...I'd still smash.

I don't go into the MHA fandom much (Or any fandom outside my friend circle), but apparently I am so closed off that Deku is a terrible protagonists. Personally I like Deku, he stands out to the other Shonen heroes, but I also like a lot of the others too. I just like protagonists who are different and not constantly the same fucking person like a lot of other people do. I never seen One Piece, never will, to fucking long, so I can't say anything about Luffy.

Haven't gotten any of the new game systems because the Series X is just the Xbox One X but smaller and I guess higher deff. The PS5 is just fucking huge, but not a lot of games yet. So I'll wait for it.

Haven't seen the new Demon Slayer movie, I can't wait for it tho.

The God of High School anime is WACK. Love the webtoon, can't stand the opening for it tho.

RWBY fucking sucks, at least post vol. 3. Fucking love the Hero song.

Phase 4 look's interesting but super sus.

I took many girls out of the harem, but you know I'll wait until it is official.

I...I think's that all for now. I will leave you all with the last summary for chapter eight, the start of the story arc (The name of it is at the end of the summary btw)

Chapter Eight: After the Manhunter incident, Ragna is requested to stay on Oa in the meantime while the others head home. As Diana tries to become accostumed to Ragna's absence, the half-devil learns the history of the Green Lanterns, discovers secrets of his father, meets new faces and other Lanterns of Earth, as well as the girl who has kept his eye on him. As he grows to love this new world, dark forces make their way from a dead zone intent on exacting revenge. With blood and rage of crimson red, let the next chapter be the start of this glorious story arc: Red Dawn!
