p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Johannes had faced Rozary, feeling that something wasn't normal – at least, not in their situation. Dean had stayed sit on the bed, his head in his hands after Castiel's departure. He stayed that way several minutes, and only the three druids in the room could see how he was focusing on his roots with the death eater, roots now almost invisibles as he was away. And none of them dared to imagine how hard it could be to be separated from his double. Then he saw it. Darkness, that thing that was invading Dean small by small. He stood up, immediately followed by Sam and Gabriel, under the uncomprehensive looks of Isil and Charlie, who couldn't see what was happening. Then Dean started shaking, shaken with spasms, and it took the three of them to maintain him on the bed while he was screaming with pain, his eyes who used to be green and sparkling now veiled with something red, dark and scary. That didn't stop, and even got worse, to the point where Sam had to sit on his brother's belly to calm his shakings down./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Then, as suddently as it appeared, there was nothing happening anymore. It was simply silent, an almost dead silence. And at the same time Rozary fell on the ground, Castiel appeared, falling on his knees, wearing what seemed like a white outfit stained with burns and blood. He was holding a shape in his arms, and judging by Charlie's reaction it was Kevin, because the woman's face decomposed and she fell on her knees too, in front of the death eater, bending over the one who had been his brother all her life, even tho they shared no blood./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Hopefully for them, one person still had a clear mind in the house. Isil seemed able to endure crisis situations... Or at least, that's what she did. « Sam, take Charlie to her room. Johannes and Gabriel, you do the same with Rose and Kevin. I'll be there with remedies and potions as soon as I'm done here... Then everybody in bed, and we meet tomorrow morning with all the ones able to go downstairs. »/span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"And that was done. Gabriel delicately took Kevin's lifeless body in his arms, and followed Sam to a room he showed him. Johannes took Rozary, and brought her to an until nom empty bedroom. Isil, her, had stayed with Dean and Castiel, both sitting on the border of the bed, barely daring to touch each other, fearing to awake something they'd rather let asleep. She even doubted they had exanged a look. But that was none of her buisness. Nothing of that was her buisness. But Dumbledore had asked her to help them, and after having listened to Charlie she had arrived to the conclusion that those people were related to something really bad, and she wanted to make a difference in that fight. She then went behind the bed, without even looking at the two men waiting. Taking a few ingredients on the shelfs, she slowly went downstairs after having closed every door and lighted off all the candles, before reaching the kitchen. Everybody would need energy, healing, and time to recover from what happened. She couldn't do much, but making them all a peace potion was something little. That potion usually was asked at the OWL exam, and even if she'd certainly prepare not as good as others, it'll help a bit.../span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"On the next day morning, Sam and Gabriel were the first ones to awake, or at least that's what they thought crossing each other in the hallway. But once they were downstairs they realized they were the lasts. Silence had mistook them, because everybody was sitting around the big table, watching at the fool like it was it that was going to eat them. And yet they were starving. But their stomacs were so knotted, and each one of them was so scared of what happened yesterday evening, of what might happen after, they just didn't dare to swallow anything./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"« Well, now that everybody's here... » started Isil once the two druids had sat, making Rozary jump a little. « You are all going to make me a favor, and drink the potion that's in front of you. » They all looked at each other, and from the corner of her eye Rozary saw the witch show the example and drink her own potion. Charlie followed just a moment after. And small by small, she saw the magical volutes aroung them calming down, like if they were... at peace. Not completely, of course. But they'd have a clearest mind for the upcoming revelations./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"She took her own bottle, and looked closer at it. But thanks. It's a peace potion Gabriel, it won't harm but relax you a little. » Rozary looked again at the bottle while the four druids were slowly drinking, more confidents. He had felt her. She herself couldn't know how powerful the protections she had built around the druid were... She had exhausted herself by doing so. And it was his fault too. Without willing it, he had implanted that need inside of her just by crossing her eyes, like the Impero had been marked with red iron into her mind, all of that made stronger by his affection for Dean – and it was selfish, he knew that, because by the time she was helming him, she was forgetting Johannes and their own roots... It was horrible, just horrible, he already had heard that song - of course, Kevin loved it – but here, today, with that thing inside of him, deeply bound to him, from which he could feel the power slowly winning over his thoughts and his gestures, this song made him feel like he just had been punched in the stomac, and he clenched his fists, his articulations becoming white, hiding his hands under his laps for nobody to see it. But Dean noticed. Obviously. He certainly had had the same reaction as him, hearing the first verse of the song, but Castiel hadn't even thought of his half until then. And that scared him, because it was the first time since they had rooted that he wasn't thinking about Dean, that he forgot they were bounded... Remorse took him at the throat, and he looked deep into the green ocean that was Dean's eyes, where he could easily get lost in, but what he saw in them terrified him on the spot. Dean was scared for him, and worried – and he was right to, thought Castiel. Yet, that wasn't what the druid was sending to the death eater, things he couldn't describe... Wonderful things. And Castiel couldn't hold it anymore, and took Dean by the collar, smacking their lips together.../span/span/span/span/span/em/p

Yet, it was the first time they were kissing in front of anyone. They usually spent time looking at each other, saying everything that needed to be just with a gaze ; what Charlie had called « visual sex ». They didn't care. Their relation was theirs, that's why they always had kept physical contact for the private moments. Today was different. Castiel needed to know, to feel that Dean wouldn't leave, and would keep fighting by his side. Because nobody knew what had happened to him last night, and nobody ever would. That was better. When the time would come, he'll figure out a way to separate his soul from the dark lord's, to keep all that darkness away and, maybe, to remove it from himself. p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Rozary looked at Charlie, who was the forst to stand up. Her eyes were red from crying too much, and yet tears were still running down her cheeks, again and again. It'd probably last longer, she thought as the shapeshifter was changing again, taking Kevin's appearance without even realizing it. They all stood up, and Castiel slowly went upstairs after having looked at Kevin's sister. When he came back downstairs, he was carrying in his arms a body covered with a white sheet, and they all walked behind him into the woods./span/span/span/p

Suddently, a flapping of wings, and Sora landed on Rozary's shoulder, softly howling. They all stopped and looked at her, then Loki appeared, slowly running around them before going away, followed by the owl. As if he had understood, Castiel folowed the animals, which guided them to the center of a clearing, rather small, and perfectly circular. The young woman could feel her hair raising at the bottom of her neck so much the energies around felt powerful. And apparently she wasn't the only one to feel it, as she saw the four druids irradiate of power./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Gabriel kneeled, putting his hand on the ground, his eyes closed, and soon branches growed out of the floor, getting tangled with each other, strewn with lianas and other herbs, all of it becoming an altar large enough for Castiel to put on it Kevin's lifeless body. At death's contact, the plants who just had grown lost their lifes too, in a matter of seconds, making the mortuary altar ready to be enflamed. Isil took her wand out, and moved it in the air, without anything happening. Charlie looked at the piece of wood without hiding her disgust, just before the witch putted it away. Then Castiel reached his hand, and caught a small black object that Rozary didn't know – Isil certainly had called it with an attraction spell – and gave it to Charlie, who took it, her hands shaking./span/span/span/p

Rozary cought herself hoping hardly that somebody would take care of Kevin, on the other side. That this person help them passing through the ordeals that were going to come to them. She wished that Sam was right, when he was talking about divine magic... And, for a moment, as the smoke reached for the sky, she almost managed to believe that there truly was something more powerful than them, over there, somewhere.../span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Several hours later, as they still were in the clearing, watching the rest of the smoking embers, Gabriel sat in front of what was left of the altar before looking at the Moon, right above them. It only took Sam a few seconds before sitting at the exact opposite of Gabriel, soon followed by Johannes, and then by Dean, all of them loosing their eyes into the moonlight, and Rozary went breathless seeing the volutes of magic coming out of them, and turning above the clearing, slowly melting all four of them, gold, steam, green and white all mixing up together and raising to the moon./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Something moved, in the middle of the embers, and soon a little pland grown out of the ground, at the center of the circle the druids were forming, and Rozary didn't have to think too long to guess that that spot was the exact center of the clearing. The plant grown, again, raising to the sky, getting taller, fed with this light, this magic, ignoring the flames that rebirth around it, killing them as it was growing too fast, quickly becoming a young oak which the smoking roots were kissing the earth. And none of the four druids were leaving the moon out of his sight, like they were in trance, like if themselves didn't know what they were doing.../span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"The oak slowly stopped growing, and Rozary guessed it was now the same age as Kevin when he died. The tree, sparkling with magic, seemed to suddently brust into flames just before this illusion disappeared, and everything stopped. The ember that were on the gound before the druids invoked the tree were now gone, and the magical volutes surrounding them calmed down for a bit as the four men looked down slowly and simultaneously, as if they were greeting somebody, but also like a thanking, just before looking straight in front of them, blinking. Charlie slowly got closer as they were standing, putting her hand on the oak, a sad smile on her face, then took each man into her arms, thanking them. « Thanks for what ? They'll search informations about what had just happened later. The day had been strong in emotions, and each one o f them wanted to go home and change their mind. Rozary looked one last time at the oak, before following the others. She could have swear she heard a whisper from the center of the clearing bathed in light, but as she turned around, she only saw the wind playing in the tree's leaves./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"The come back to the house was lighter, calmer, like if each one of them had put away a heavy thing out of their chest. All but Castiel, and that worried Rozary more than she should have let it be. But that thing that she had touched, that was now bounded to Castiel, scared her. When Dean let her entering the kitchen before closing the door behing her, she saw, far away in his green and captivating ocean, all that darkness and chaos waiting, and that need she already had felt to protect the druid came back, and made her immediately look at Castiel. She knew he was a threat now, and that one day he'd give up and let himself be corrupted if nobody could find a solution, and that scared her to a point she couldn't believe was possible. Dean seemed to feel it, and put a hand on her shoulder. « He's going to get through this you know.../span/span/span/p

None could've describe that sensation./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"« I know, he answered. But we have to keep hoping, to keep trying. We have all the cards in hand to succeed. None of us know what that thing is, but there's one thing I know, we're going to keep fighting, because we haven't got that far just to give up now. Are you with us ? » Asking her that, he looked down at her with a smile, and Rozary saw fear, of course, but also trust, and above all, hope and challenge. Whatever could happen to them, they were together, and nothing could happen to them. She understood why Sam looked at his brother the way he did, whhy she had seen him several times look at his brother waiting for an advice, why when one was feeling bad, the other was making all what he could to keep them secure until everything was over. Dean was giving her that very same look, promising her that he'd make everything in his power to protect her, no matter what would happen next. And tears began to fill her eyes as his gaze was beautiful and sparkling with life beside the rare but still scary reflections she could see in it./span/span/span/p
p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Charlie and Isil stayed in the kitchen, cooking for everybody. The four druids were outside, sitting in the moonlight, debatting about what had happened earlier in the evening. p style="font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; widows: 2; orphans: 2;"span style="color: #000000;"span style="font-family: Times;"span style="font-size: large;"Apparently, silence wasn't welcome in this house, as the music was still playing inside the walls. They were scared for him, but were trusting, and everythhing would be fine, one day... But Castiel wasn't that sure. He looked at Rozary, bending over her parchment, slowly writing the last ingredients, and when she looked up to him he was hit by how close she was of looking like her mother... But also by what differenciated them. And, with that, the memory of yesterday, when he was torturing Bellatrix, when he could've ended her in one gesture... The power of the spell that hit him was scary, indeed, but what was making his hands shake was way stronger than that, it was an envy, almost a need, and he had to fight it with all his strenght to forger that pleasure he had felt having the power of life or death on somebody... Because he had liked it.../span/span/span/p

He hadn't even notice that the previous song had changed. Why this one ? Why now ? He felt strange, he had to fight, he knew that, for Dean... But Dean deserved so much better than him ! He was nothing, he was bad, evil, even before they met, so what to say about now ? He'll drive him to his lost if he accepted those chilling darkness... And yet, they were so tempting, almost purring of pleasure inside of him at the contact of all that fear and anger repressed deep inside... But he wasn't strong enough, and the fight was pointless, he knew that, he knew that, he could feel it deep inside, soon or later that thing would take control over him, over his mind and body, just like yesterday. And he understood their reactions, he knew he would have done exactly the same thing as Isil if their places had been reversed, that's why he shooted into his wand – still on the ground – to put it away from him, and looked deep inside Charlie's eyes, who hadn't move, killing him with her eyes.
