Blue Team: (BEACON ACADEMY)
It was summer break for the students, and well they had been there for a little. (I changed the lore a little about who the first monitor they met were, it was not 343 Guilty Spark by the way.) Halsey couldn't find the Forerunner Facility, and well at the moment, only the Kingdom of Vale knows their existence because they didn't know how to break the news to Atlas. Since Atlas was the biggest military power among all the kingdoms, it would not make them comfortable if some random space-bearing race came to them.
Most of the students were still in school, but they did what they wanted. Some of the kids went back home to their families, but since this was a government-funded school (which means they are paid by taxes) they are happy to keep the kids in the academy as long as they don't cause too big of a problem.
"I can't imagine taking a break that lasts few months..." Fred said as they walked through the courtyard.
"Well they seem to be very considerate to everyone," Kelly stated, "They delayed the coming of students because of us. I heard that there is something called the Vytal Festival, and I think it is where a bunch of kids from all the kingdoms' schools comes to celebrate the peace alliance after their long war. Vale is celebrating it this year."
"We aren't here to party," the Master Chief said, "Only for research to find ways to help humanity. It is very important."
"Well, they did leave some of the best of the best here for a reason," Fred replied, "If it wasn't important we would be fighting, and Halsey would be on Reach."
"Hey ever wanted to beat up a kid?" Kelly asked she was staring at a student at Beacon who was pulling on a Faunus girl's rabbit ear.
"We shouldn't provoke the school," Linda stated, "They were kind enough not to attach us and let us roam school grounds. Also..." She pointed at the boy who was now running when a group of students spotted him bullying the poor girl, and well now he was being chased by three other students holding their weapons.
"He is screwed," Fred said the children caught up to them.
"That is one way to stop bullying," Kelly said looking at two kids from behind started to beat him up.
"They must be her team," Master Chief said, "Everyone has a four-member team, and that would make four of them."
"Hey, isn't that the boy who was also threatened by other students for bullying one of their guys," Linda noticed.
"Guess he never learns," Fred said shaking his head, and he turned his head behind to see someone, "Halsey."
"Well since we didn't find out anything about the facility, I was given an all-clear to discuss this with Ruby and her team," Halsey said, "Any idea where they are."
"Well, they might be in their dorm," Kelly stated, "Any idea where that is?"
"Hey isn't that one of their teammates right there," Linda said looking at a girl who was the cat Faunus that seemed to love the color black.
"I guess that is all we have," Halsey said.
"According to her file, it says here that her name is Blake Belladona," Cortana read, "Interesting... She is a former member of the White Fang, but left when she became disgusted by what they were doing."
"Really?" Fred said, "She used to work for THEM?"
"Calm down," Halsey said as she walked up to the girl, "You must be Ms. Belladona."
"Yes," Blake replied, "Who may I be talking to?"
"My name is Doctor Halsey," she said, "We are looking for your teammate Ruby. An idea where she is?" This made Blake scowl.
"As if I am telling you!" You are complete strangers! I will not jeopardize the safety of our team leader because some lady has a doctor in her name!"
'Team leader,' thought Master Chief. "Are teams named after the leader?" he whispered to himself.
"No," Cortana replied, "They are the first letter of each member's names. For Ruby's team, it is spelled R-B-W-P, which is pronounced like ruby."
"We work with Ozpin," Halsey stated.
"If you work with Ozpin you could ask him about it!" the girl in black looked at Halsey straight in the eyes, "I never seen you here before!"
"I think you saw us," Master Chief said, and this made Blake turn her head. She saw him speak with Ozpin at the police station around a week ago.
"I can call her, but she is right now visiting somewhere else," Blake stated she got out her scroll and called Ruby. They heard a cheery voice pick up the call.
"Hello, Blake!" Ruby said.
"Hey, do you any... Um, Doctor Halsey?" Blake asked.
"Yeah... Why?" Ruby replied.
"She said she wanted to you," Blake stated, "Is that fine with you?"
"Sure!" Ruby said, "Does she want to talk over the phone?"
"I would like to speak in person," Halsey said to Blake who repeated it on the phone.
"Well, I am getting ready to leave Vale, and I have to go real soon," Ruby replied, "You would have to wait until then unless it is very important."
"Does it relate to school or the police?" Blake said looking at Halsey who shook her head, "Okay thank you bye." This is what Blake said to Ruby.
"Bye!" Ruby said, and Blake ended the call.
"Guess we will have to wait," Fred said, "So what do we do now?"
"Does Ruby talk to you about anything like aliens or ancient technology?" Halsey asked Blake who only raised an eyebrow.
"What?" Blake was obviously confused, "Listen I have to get going." She ran off to someplace leaving the SPARTANs and Halsey.
"That was a weird thing to say," Cortana said, "Maybe act a little less strange." Just then a girl who was carrying a duffel bag started to walk by she was talking to Yang who was also carrying a duffle bag. "Hey that is Pyrrha Nikos," Cortana stated, "She is another member of team RWBP. She is apparently a famous athlete and is known as the invincible girl. The girl right next to her Yang Xiao Long of team JNYR."
"Ruby is waiting for us at the station, she has the tickets," Pyrrha said to Yang.
"Oh no!" Yang said frantically patting down her pockets and pouches, "I forgot my scroll!"
"I will wait for you, but hurry," Pyrrha said, and Yang ran off. Pyrrha started to call someone as she waited. "Sorry Ruby, but we will be a little held back," she said.
'Ruby?' Fred thought. He made eye contact with Pyrrha if you could call it that, his eyes were behind a visor after all.
"May I help you?" Pyrrha asked she turned to see Halsey, and smiled, "You must be Doctor Halsey."
"Yes, I am," Halsey said, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Nikos."
"The pleasure is all mine. I saw the match you had with Ruby," Pyrrha said, "You are the only person to tie with Ruby at chess."
"Really?" Halsey asked.
"She had a score of always winning except for the first time she played chess," Pyrrha stated.
"How long has she been playing chess?" Halsey asked.
"Since she was five," Pyrrha said, "A little less than a decade ago." (I made Ruby fourteen, Pyrrha is sixteen in this.)
"Were you there?" Halsey asked, and this made Pyrrha nod, "So I guess you two are close." Pyrrha nodded again, and Halsey decided to ask another question, "Do you know of a Forerunner facility?"
This made Pyrrha's eyes go wide, and then to an ice-cold stare. "So you are looking for it..." Pyrrha said, "What exactly do you want?"
"I want to learn more about the Forerunners," Halsey answered, "It would be very helpful if we knew where it was."
"The monitor will judge if you are worthy of that knowledge," Pyrrha said coldly, it was far different from her normal warm and caring voice, "I shall not."
"Pyrrha I got my scroll!" Yang yelled, "Who are these people?"
"No one important," Pyrrha replied her voice returning back to normal, but her eyes stayed the same, "Let's go." The girls ran off to Beacon's port for airships.
"Ozpin doesn't seem to know about the Forerunners, but these girls do," Kelly noted, "Any explanation for that?"
Pyrrha: (FORERUNNER SHIELDWORLD)
Pyrrha and Ruby left to go to the Forerunner Facility from Ruby's house. They were the only people who knew about it that were still alive. Remnant was created just like an entrance to a shield world that was constantly in slipspace, and it was a beautiful one, to say the least. Unlike some shield worlds, this one wasn't contained inside a planet but only connected by a gate-like thing. Some may call it impossible, but it wasn't.
They told Yang and Ruby's dad that they were hiking, and they left them to it, knowing that they were perfectly capable to defend themselves from the Grimm. It was nice to be back here, but it was also associated with horrible memories.
'How many of us were here originally?' Pyrrha thought to herself, 'One hundred sixty-three, all of us was put into pair just like Beacon, but so many times worse, the last one was killed... That was how I met Ruby, the last person who understands and knows what happened here. The fate of the original head monitor.'
