Chapter 7 - Training and short conversation

~ early in the morning ... ~

Gon was woken up by a ringtone, he can easily see where it came from. His cell phone rang. He frowned slightly. 'Who is calling me so early?'

He looked and smiled after a second ... he answered it.

"Hey, Leorio! What's up? "He tried to keep his tone quieter if Kaori is still asleep.

"Yo, Gon. I just couldn't wait any longer. I really had to hear from you! "Came a happy voice.

"That's nice, thank you!"

"That sounds pretty stiff, we're friends after all!"

"Right…"

"You are training in a dojo right now? How is it?"

"Cool, my master says I'm making good progress!" He smiles broadly. "When I'm ready, I'll be really strong with Kaori, even stronger than then!" Gon declared proudly.

"Huh? Kaori? Who is this?"

"Okay." Leorio exclaimed. "See you later."

"Yes!" With that Gon hung up. 'Oh ... I'm so happy! ... even if it would be cooler personally ... but no matter ... I could mention that later in the chat ... He grinned and stood up.

Kaori slowly opens her eyes, she had the feeling that she heard something. 'Is Gon awake yet? She yawns slightly.

She was a little relieved because this time she hadn't woken up with a nightmare. Then she heard footsteps and shortly afterwards saw Gon, happy how she met him.

He smiles at her, slightly apologetically. "Did I wake you?"

She shakes her head. "No, Don `t worry. I'm just surprised you're already awake. "She got up slowly.

"My cell phone rang."

"Oh?" She raised her eyebrows. "So early?"

"Yes ..." he scratches his head. "Leorio called me ..." he smiles.

"One of your friends ... that you talked about, right?" She went to her bag to find something to wear.

"Exactly." Gon thought for a moment, then continued. "Tonight ... let's do a video chat ... do you happen to have a laptop, Kaori? Otherwise I'll ask someone else ... "

Kaori was slightly surprised at the question. "Yes ... I have one." She put her things on the floor and rummaged around in her pocket until she found something. She pulled out a laptop, it wasn't an old model, but it wasn't a new one either.

She nodded and smiled. "You can use it, I'll put it on the table."

"Thanks! Thank you! "He walked over to hug her.

She blushes easily. "N-nothing to thank ... .Gon ... you said it yourself ... we're friends ..." she hugged him back.

He let go of her after a minute. "Don't you want to be there too? Then you can see my friends. "He beams.

Kaori had placed several rings on the table, along with a rope.

The blue-haired girl is slowly putting together her weapon. 'I can do it ... for Gon!' She had to smile at the thought of the boy. 'I've never met someone like him ... I want to stand by him ... and travel with him! ... I want to get stronger! '

Gon was showing Tanju his reindeer. ... for Tanju it was an amazing aura and that in such a short time. "Not bad, Gon. You learn far too quickly. "

"And how is Kaori's training going ... do you know anything?"

"She got an idea for her ability. She'll show me today or tomorrow! "Gon answers proudly. "She's amazing, isn't she?"

Gon was just entering the room. He smiled at the girl when their eyes met.

The twelve-year-old boy was sitting at the table with the laptop in front of him. He grinned when faces that were all too familiar to him appeared on the screen. "Hey guys."

He was talking to two friends he met during the Hunter exam: Leorio and Kurapika!

"Yo, Gon!"

"You seem to be fine." The blonde spoke out.

"Yes." Gon scratches his head. "A lot has happened again, but nothing serious."

Kurapika had an apologetic look that confused Gon slightly. "Sorry, Gon. I didn't visit you in the hospital. "

"That's not bad!" Gon beamed. "You always work hard, don't you? As long as you don't overwork yourself, everything is fine! "

Leorio patted Kurapika on the shoulder. "I told you he wouldn't make an elephant out of a mosquito." He grinned broadly, then looked at Gon. "Okay, Gon ... who is this Kaori ... you were talking about?"

"Kaori? I met her. A couple of thieves have injured her since she's feeling better, let's travel together ... well now we're in this dojo for the first time ... because of my Nen and Kaori wants to get stronger too. "Gon explained happily. "But right now she's outside ... get some fresh air!"

Both looked at each other and considered. Leorio was the first to say "Maybe we can do it."

The blonde nodded in agreement. "…why not."

"Free time is also good for you, Kurapika!" Leorio exclaimed.

"Deal then? See you next week? "Gon asked excitedly and with sparkling eyes.

"Yes."

"Hooray!"

Kurapika frowned. "Where is your current location again?"

"I'm currently in the Tatsu Dojo."

"I see ... I'll see you then." The blonde nodded.

Leorio gave a thumbs up in agreement. "See you, Gon. And then introduce us to Kaori, are you going to do that? "

"Clear!"

All three then talked about individual topics ... what Kurapika and leorio were actually doing and Gon listened carefully to his two friends.

Soon Kaori will meet the two of them….
