After the initiation, Team RWBY & JNPR followed Isaac to Ozpin's office because that's the only private place he can tell them about who he is and Ozpin can be trusted. They arrived at Ozpin's office who was sitting at his desk with Glynda standing beside him. Isaac gave the headmaster and the Huntress a nod meaning he's gonna tell them, the two of them acknowledge and Isaac began to tell the two teams about him. He told them that he was a world traveler making some of them confuse, he specifically told them that he can travel universes and different worlds.
This obviously shocked the teams but Weiss was in denial saying other worlds and universes don't exist. Isaac smirked at what Weiss said, as he simply pulled the Orb Ring, Glynda noticed this remembering last time where they got teleported making her pale. A giant blue portal appeared underneath the teams, as they were engulfed by it along with Isaac as they vanished within Ozpin's office. They were gone for a while until bright light erupted from the room and most of the group are dazed(except for Nora who was laughing happily), and Weiss who was shaking within her shoes making Isaac laugh a bit at their reactions especially Weiss, Glynda was glad she was not involved.
Going back to the main subject, he told them that he can use the powers of heroes called Ultraman, Kamen Riders, and Super Sentai making the team awe and reminds Jaune of the superheroes in his comic books. He told them that the form he used earlier during the initiation was his main form and it was one of many forms he can use. This shocked the group, Ruby and Nora began to asked the wanderer a lot of questions like: "How many forms do you have?!". He simply said he only got a few of them and he has a long way until he unlocks ALL of them. During the past minutes, he began to answer their questions, of course, he kept the classified stuff a secret because they're not ready for it.
Morning, Team RWBY room...
Weiss was just sleeping peacefully and having a nice dream where she becomes a fully pledge Huntress, unfortunately, it was cut short when she got woken up by Ruby's loud whistle causing her to crash down on the floor.
"Good morning Team RWBY!" announced the reaper.
Weiss glared at her, "What is wrong with you?"
"Now that you're awake we can officially begin our first order of business." said Ruby.
"Before we do anything let's wake Isaac first." said Yang.
"Oh right." said Ruby in realization.
They saw Isaac sleeping on a flat mattress on the floor which he carries, making the girls question how he can carry that on his bag. Isaac was slump on the bed with his face down letting out a couple of snores, while wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
Ruby kneeled down on the ground and put her hand on his shoulder, "C'mon Isaac wake up." said Ruby shaking his shoulder.
He lets out a groan, "5 more minutes."
"Isaac, school is about to start."
"I don't wanna go to school." said Isaac burying his face deeper in the bed.
Ruby tried again but he kept on resisting making her worried, "C'mon Isaac."
Her big sister place a hand on her shoulder, "Don't worry sis, I got this." said Yang mischievously.
She kneeled down on the floor and pulled out her scroll pressing something on it then pressed it near on his right ear. Suddenly a loud air horn sound erupted from the scroll making Isaac's eyes snapped open making him stand up tall and quickly pulled out the OrbCalibur in a defensive position.
"Where's the danger?!" exclaimed Isaac fully awake, ready to take down Dark Killer's lackeys.
He noticed Ruby laughing with her hands covering her mouth, while Blake and Weiss let out some small chuckles, finally with Yang who was laughing down on the floor on her back.
Isaac feeling embarrassed about his 'waking' up, quickly put away the sword and lightly glared at Yang, "Was that necessary?"
Yang stopped laughing and picked herself up, "Yeah sorry about that, it's the only way for you to wake up."
He just let out a sigh and remembered that it's his first day of school at Beacon.
"Now that the two of you are fully awake we can finally begin our first order of business." said Ruby.
"With what?" asked Weiss.
"Decorating." said Yang with her arms filled with a lot of stuff.
"We still have to unpack." said Blake raising a briefcase then its contents got fallen out of it, "And clean."
"Alright Weiss, Yang, Blake, Isaac, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission!" declared Ruby, "Banzai!"
"Banzai!" yelled out Yang and Blake, with Isaac(who was fixing himself up) being the last one quickly cheered, "Banzai!"
"Before we do anything, mind explaining to me why we have a boy sleeping in our room again?" asked Weiss crossing her arms.
"C'mon Isaac's a nice guy he wouldn't do anything to us." said Yang while winking at him.
This confuses him, "What makes you say that? Why would I do anything to you guys?" asked Isaac innocently.
Blake quickly whispered into his right ear making Isaac's eyes widened, "Heck no!" He's not into that stuff, never ever.
After that(with Isaac manage to put on his uniform), all of them began to unpack their stuff, Yang puts on a poster of six guys posing called: "THE ACHIEVE MEN", Weiss puts a classy painting on the wall, Blake was putting a couple of books on the shelves when she picked up a peculiar book she quickly had her eyes widened looking left and right warily before putting it back, but Isaac noticed the book which gave him a weird feeling of it. Ruby puts on a red curtain on the window using her scythe when she turned around she accidentally cut it, surprising Isaac. They managed to fix the room but right now it looks cramped with all the beds' stack together.
"This isn't going to work." said Weiss noticing the small space.
"It's a bit cramped." commented Blake.
"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff?" suggested Yang.
"Or we could ditch the beds and replace them with bunk beds!" exclaimed Ruby.
"Um, that sounds incredibly dangerous." said Weiss thinking about her "leader's" idea.
"And super awesome." said the blonde brawler.
"It does seem efficient." said Blake.
"It may be cool, but it can also provide us a lot of space and room to fit most of our stuff." said Isaac.
"Well, we should put it to a vote." said Weiss.
"Uh, we already did Weiss." said Isaac. With him along with Ruby, Yang, and Blake agreeing with the idea except for Weiss.
All of them rushed towards the beds and quickly fixed them up. Now the beds have become bunk beds, but they look different, for Ruby's side the top bed was held together with ropes with a bed below it. To Yang's side, the beds are stacked one another using books on the legs.
"Hey, guys is it ok for my bed to position in between it?" asked Isaac towards the team.
They realized that he would be close to them making them blush.
"Isaac if you felt uncomfortable sleeping in your bed, *blushes* you can sleep with one of us." said Ruby pressing her fingers nervously.
Yang quickly snapped up, "YOU CAN SLEEP IN MINE!" Making the other team glared at her.
"Thanks for the offer guys but I rather sleep on mine." said Isaac kindly rejecting their offer. Besides he has a lot of memories in using that bed during his travels.
"Why would you sleep down on the floor? You might get dirty and caught some dust." said Weiss.
"That because I don't want you guys to get caught by it you know." said Isaac with a smile.
This made the team blushed.
"*cough* Right anyway back to our second order of business is... classes." said Ruby in a bored tone, as she pulled out a book, "Now we have a few classes together today at 9 we gotta be-"
"What?! Did you say 9 o'clock?" exclaimed Weiss.
"Uh, yeah."
"It's 8: 55 you dunce." said Weiss. This makes the team panic, but Isaac quickly calmed them down.
"Don't worry guys, I got this!" Isaac reassured them.
He leads them outside of the room with JNPR waiting for them.
"Isaac why are you calm?! Were going to be late!" said Weiss panicking and she does not want to be late on her first day.
"Chillax Weiss, I got this." said Isaac, "Everyone hold on to me."
They put their hands on Isaac, as he pulls out the Orb Ring, a giant blue portal appeared in front of them then engulfs them with a bright light. After the light died down, they're now at their designated class area.
"Your welcome." said Isaac noticing his friends who are a little daze due to the teleportation.
"I feel woozy." said Nora.
"Ditto." agreed Ruby.
"Sorry about that guys. Don't worry the effects will go off soon." said the wanderer.
Jaune manage to shake off the dizziness, "Thanks Isaac, c'mon guys let's go."
Professor Port's classroom...
The group is now inside the class listening to the lecture of Professor Port. He was an elderly man with bushy eyebrows and a mustache, he's a little overweight, and wears a standard teacher's uniform.
"Monsters, demons, prowlers of the night! Yes the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey." said Port acting like a tough guy to interest his students with a joke.
However, all they did was simply to be silent.
"Oof, not even a good one." said Isaac.
Not wanting to feel embarrassed, Port continued, "Uh, and you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy, now as I was saying, Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces." said Port
"Wait till they see my enemies." thought Isaac, about the kaijins.
"And that's where we come in Huntsman and Huntresses." said Port in flirtatious tone in that last part, as he winked at Yang.
This made Yang uncomfortable, Isaac asked in concern, but the blonde brawler just reassures him.
"Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what you ask? Why the very world! exclaimed Port.
A single student cheered, causing a lot of students to stare at him making him sit back down.
"That is what you are training to become, but first: A story, a tale of a young, handsome man... me! When I was a boy..." Port began to drabble about his past life.
"Oh boy." said Isaac, groaning.
He already felt his eyes closing in due to the boring aura within the room, he almost fell asleep but he quickly slaps himself in the face to wake up. He does not want to go through the same thing that happened to him during his past life in high school. Ruby draw something on a piece of paper and showed it to her team, it was a childish drawing of Professor Port in stick figure style that was named: "Professor Poop", making Yang and Isaac chuckle with Blake letting out a small chuckle. However, Weiss was getting annoyed by it.
Port let out a fake cough getting their attention, "In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero!"
Weiss is getting heated up by Ruby's childish antics.
"The moral of the story? A true Huntsman must be honorable! A true Huntsman must be dependable! A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise! So who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" asked Port.
Weiss was about to raise her hand in anger until Isaac who was taking a yawn accidentally raised his right-hand high.
"Ah, excellent Mr. Furno! Step forward and face your opponent." said Port.
"Wait, what?" asked Isaac obliviously.
Isaac(in his regular clothing) was now in the middle of the classroom with many eyes staring at him making him feel nervous. He does not want to embarrass himself just like in his previous high school. On his right hand was the Orb Calibur in katana mode as he was facing a cage with a Grimm inside of it.
"Go, Isaac!" cheered Yang.
"Fight well." said Blake waving a small flag, making him wonder where she got that.
"Yeah, represent Team RWBY." said Ruby happily.
"Ruby, he's trying to focus." scolded Weiss in annoyance, making Isaac frown a bit.
"Oh sorry." apologized Ruby.
"Alright, let the match begin!" yelled out Port, as he brought down his axe, cutting down the bindings of the cage.
Coming out of the cage was a Boarbatusk who immediately charged at Isaac, he quickly activates Blue Chaos as he jumps out of the way, and quickly shoots multiple energy blasts from the sword hitting the Grimm's back, apparently, it did little damage.
"It looks like demon Peppa Pig is a lot tougher than I thought." said Isaac as he landed down and began to think.
"*laughs* Wasn't expecting that were you?" said Port.
"Show it who's boss, Isaac!" said Ruby.
The Boarbatusk curled up into a ball spinning rapidly charging at Isaac. He activates Blue chaos, and the two of them turn into blurs crashing into one another, Isaac rapidly slashing against the sides of the Grimm and it looks like it's working.
"Good approach." said Port.
"Isaac goes for its belly there's no armor underneath it." called out Ruby.
"Ruby he's trying to focus!" scolded Weiss harshly, making Yang glared at her.
"Thanks for the advice, Ruby!" said Isaac giving her a thumbs up, making Ruby smile.
The Grimm stop rolling and was now in front of Isaac ready to prepare its attack. He simply stands still and waits for the moment, the Grimm let out a squeal as it curled back into a ball then charged at Isaac. He was prepared for the attack and spin the wheel of the OrbCalibur.
"Orb Ground Calibur!" yelled out Isaac, as he stabs the sword in the ground covered in yellow energy.
A stone pillar erupted underneath the Grimm sending it flying in the air, Isaac jumps and did a yellow energy slash through its belly, making it explode. He landed on the ground safely.
"Bravo! Bravo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntsman-in-training!" said Port, "But, I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today, be sure to cover the assigned readings, and stay vigilant! Class dismissed!" said Port.
With that students stand up and began to leave the class. Isaac looks at Ruby and tips his hat down in appreciation making her smile. He looks at Weiss who was angry and glaring at Ruby then leaves the class.
Isaac now at the entrance along with the other, "Sheesh what's with her?" asked Jaune noticing Weiss storming out of the classroom.
The others agreed with Isaac following Weiss, sensing something wrong with her. He saw Weiss around the corner, arguing and yelling at Ruby, which makes him frown.
"What did I do?" asked Ruby.
"That's just it, you've done nothing to earn your position! Back in the forest, you acted like a child and you've only continued to do so!" said Weiss in anger.
"Weiss, where is this coming from? What happened to all the talk about working together? I thought you believed in acting as a team." said Ruby feeling a bit hurt.
"Not a team led by you, I've studied and trained. And quite frankly, I deserve better." scowled Weiss, "Besides, despite his flaws, Isaac is a much better leader than you. Ozpin made a mistake choosing you." With that she left, making Ruby a lot sadder.
Isaac watched Weiss left and glared at her. He then approached Ruby, "Ruby, are you all right?" asked Isaac.
She turned to him then looked down again, "Isaac, is she right? Is Ozpin wrong?"
"I don't know Ruby. But one thing for certain is that you don't let a harsh argument from Weiss get to you."
"You heard what she said. I'm just an idiotic child, who has no experience in leadership stuff." said Ruby sadly, "Besides like Weiss said you're much more of a better leader than me."
"While that may be true, I'm not exactly a leader type because I'm more fitting to support people in need. Also, you're already a good leader Ruby." said Isaac.
"Wait, really? How so?" asked Ruby in confusion.
"It's because you have this never-give-up spirit where you always push on forward no matter what obstacles came ahead. Just like how you lead the others back in the initiation leading them in the right direction and making the right calls. That I believe is what made you a good leader." said Isaac wisely.
"Woah." said the reaper in awe. She was feeling happy.
He puts a hand on her shoulder, "Also Weiss underestimated you because she wasn't expected the unexpected. Besides Ozpin sense within you that you have the potential of being a great leader where you inspire others in the future." said Isaac, "At least, that's what I figured."
She was feeling awe at Isaac's words and being inspired by them. Maybe this is the reason Ozpin chose her to be a leader, to inspire others, however part of her still has doubts.
Isaac saw the doubt within Ruby, "Don't worry Ruby, you'll be a great leader. Just train and never give up, a friend of mine always said this: 'Believe it!' "
Ruby smiled, "You got it!"
"*smiled* Now let me talk to Weiss, you head back." said Isaac.
"Ok and good luck Isaac."
"Thanks." He was about to leave until Ruby called to him.
"Isaac wait!"
"What is-" He stopped when Ruby peck his cheek.
"That's for helping me fight with Roman and along with what you said today." said Ruby blushing a bit, "So uh, bye!"
She quickly speeds away turning into a red blur leaving behind a trail of rose petals. Back with Isaac, he touches the cheek where Ruby kiss it making him feel weird for some reason, he shakes his head and needs to find Weiss. He continued his search throughout the campus using Blue Chaos, he searches for a few hours. When he goes to the balcony, he finds Weiss staring into the distance making him thank lady luck.
"Weiss." called out Isaac.
She turned to him, "Oh hey Isaac."
"Is there something troubling you?" asked the wanderer standing by her.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." lied Weiss.
"Weiss don't lie to me, I can easily tell a person lying especially someone like you. I notice your strange behavior towards Ruby, so please allow me to help you." said Isaac.
"Why are you doing this? Not to be rude or anything." said the ice princess.
"Nothing to be honest. But if there's something I don't like, it's seeing teammates fighting each other, so I have to step in making sure nothing goes wrong." said Isaac recalling some memories of the previous Sentai teams and Kamen Rider allies, where they argue and fight another.
She was silent for a bit and said, "*sigh* Fine, the truth is, I would be a better leader for the team."
"What makes you say that?"
"I have the training and skills of being a true leader! She had no training and acts like a child!" said Weiss in frustration, "Unlike her, you're at least better than her."
This made him raise a brow, "What makes you think, I'm a good leader?"
"You have a lot of powerful abilities, good skill, experience, and a great fighter. I don't understand why Ozpin chooses her over you or me!"
"Trust me, Weiss while I do have those qualities those things can be a burden to me all of the time during my travels. And sometimes they can be a pain in the ass to me as well." said Isaac recalling his previous travels indifferent universes where he has to make the hard call decisions.
"Weiss being a leader is more than just skills and experience. It's to inspire others and bring forth their true potential in life." said Isaac.
"To inspire?" asked Weiss.
"Yes, Ruby is a good example to one of those, she may have a naive mind but she still has the courage and potential to inspire those around her. You, however, I saw a girl full of pride with a bit of arrogance." pointed out Isaac.
"I'm not prideful and arrogant!" said Weiss making Isaac raised a brow, "Not exactly."
"You said, I'm a good leader due to my experience?" asked Isaac making her nod, "In truth, I'm just a normal joe with no fighting experience that time."
"Wait, what?!" exclaimed Weiss, "Then how are you good at fighting and be skilled?"
He just sighed, "Certain complications to be honest, which I can't explain. But an associate of mine trains me to become a strong person to prepare for the worst of the worst. And remember the stories I told you about the Ultraman, Kamen Riders, and Super Sentai back at Ozpin's office?" said Isaac making her nod.
"Most of them are just a couple of normal people who had no experience in fighting and yet they've become great leaders of legends due to their courage and hearts where they inspire the next line of heroes after them." said the wanderer, "*chuckles* In fact most of them, are bit hot-headed, inexperience, jerkish, cowardly, and stoic, and yet they've become great leaders."
This made Weiss awe and shocked, these heroes of Isaac who are nobodies became great warriors who made a huge impact in legend.
Isaac puts a hand on her shoulder, "Weiss, I understand that everything was not what you're expecting but that how life is, it's full of complications and unknown futures. You can't be a leader but you can still support them and still inspire others by showing you can do anything."
She was silent for a bit, "Ok, I'll try, but I doubt Ruby will forgive me for how I act earlier."
"Well if you want to feel better just apologize to Ruby about everything, that way you guys can be friends and teammates again." said Isaac with a smile.
"Ok, then." said Weiss quickly giving him a hug, surprising him.
Realizing what she's doing she quickly let's go and has a small blush on her face.
"Ignore that, let's go back." said Weiss feeling awkward walking back to the dorm.
"I feel strange again." said the wanderer sensing the weirdness similar to what happened to Ruby earlier.
Back at Team RWBY's dorm, Blake and Yang are fallen asleep, Isaac who's still awake was just messing around with his Build Phone. He notices Weiss climbing up to the top bunk of the bed. Weiss notice the blanket has covered the entire bed of Ruby, she gently lifts it up and what she saw amazed her, she saw Ruby fallen asleep but has pencils all around her bed with a couple of books, she even has a couple of notepads filled with notes, meaning she has been studying.
She gently shook Ruby causing her to wake up suddenly, "Weiss! I was studying and then I fell asleep! I'm sorry!" apologized Ruby.
"How do you take your coffee?" asked Weiss.
This confused Ruby, "Huh?"
"Answer the question!" said Weiss in annoyance.
"Cream and five sugars!"
Weiss just took a deep breath and sighed, "Don't move."
She goes back down and comes up with a fresh coffee.
"Here."
"Um... Thanks, Weiss." thanked Ruby.
" Ruby, I think you have what it takes to be a good leader." said Weiss with an apologetic smile, making the reaper happy, "Just know that I am going to be the best teammate you'll ever have. Good luck studying!" said the ice princess with a warm smile.
Isaac noticed this and smiled. He looks down at his phone again, playing his game, he was then interrupted when they called him.
"Hey, Isaac."
He looked up and saw Ruby and Weiss sitting on the bottom bed, "What's up?" asked Isaac.
"Well Weiss told me about some of the Ultraman, Kamen Riders, and Super Sentai are inexperienced heroes and yet they become the greatest heroes ever. Can you tell us more about them?" asked Ruby surprising him.
"Sure." He began to tell them about the histories and achievements of his predecessors...
