AN: Still own nothing, one of the first chapters I wrote that I really fell in love with.
Chapter 6: The Morning Sickness Reaction
Eventually we both dozed off on the couch, cuddled in each other's arms. During the night I began to stir, I nudged Leonard to join me in bed and we walked back to the bedroom with his arms wrapped around mine. We didn't even make it to the bedroom, we of course had to stop at the bathroom. This morning sickness isn't even in the morning anymore. Leonard got a washcloth, rubbed my back and reminded me that our little bean was growing perfectly.
"Actually, it's not a bean, but between the size of a raspberry and green olive" I replied.
Leonard rubbed my back for another few minutes and then stood up. I was half asleep so I didn't notice. Leonard came back in with a raspberry from our fridge, and told me
"Even though our little raspberry is just this small, my love for both of you is bigger than this raspberry"
"Honey… I love you so mu-" was all I could say before I looked into the toilet bowl.
"I'm that bad of a romantic?" My husband asked as I leaned back onto him.
"No, I love you, and our little raspberry, even though its making me sick as a dog"
"It?"
"He or she. It was gender neutral. I'm half asleep Leonard."
"I'll give you a pass this time, think you're good to head to bed?"
"I think so," I said as Leonard helped me up from the floor. I brushed my teeth, leaned into my husband, kissed him and followed him to the bedroom.
We laid against each other while he kept his hand on my stomach and the other running through my hair, while my hand was on my stomach, on top of his and my other hand on his chest. We slept well into the morning.
