"Holy brothers of Oum. That was absolutely amazing." This bath wasn't the thing he really wanted to do today, but now that it's done… he has no regrets. Jaune feels like he could take on all the Grimm in the world right now, the bath was that good. The confident mood only fades the tiniest bit when he realizes just what is likely to come next…
"Oh god. Now I'm gonna be forced to answer all their questions…" He can just imagine it now, his body reduced to a mere skeleton as all of his sisters talk about Jaune's… "exploits" for hours upon hours... But a bigger part of his mind forces his thinking on the right path. It's not going to be that bad, might as well get it over with now, right? Right. His thumbs almost instinctively open up the messaging app and begin texting a familiar scythe-master.
I'm about to put myself in the fire. Wish me luck!
While he waits for the response, he puts everything up in the bathroom. But even after the dirty towel is hung over the shower rod, there is still no text. It takes over a minute, but a response finally comes through.
Hope you don't get interrogated like I did! Come back soon!
I will… hopefully.
He doesn't wait for a response before opening the door, only to see Saphron and Terra running away, both with massive red spots on their faces. His brain stutters for a moment before deciding to just ignore those two for the time being. Jaune collects himself, then walks out to the living room, expecting to see the rest of his sisters staring him down like sharks out for blood.
"Finally out of the bath, eh son?"
"...Yes dad."
"So how many Grimm have you killed?"
Just like that? "Well.. about 20 or so? I never really counted."
"20?! That's so cool! " Talia belts out, while Jaune's dad has to work very hard to hide his look of surprise.
"T-that's great son! Beacon's Training sure works wonders, doesn't it?"
"Yeah, their training arenas are great." Of course he's not going to reveal that he has only used them three times. "I'm also getting help from my team."
"Team?"
"Team? Tell us tell us!" Felicity says, eyes wide in anticipation.
"Well, it is called Team JNPR. First is me, then Nora Valkyrie, Pyrrha Nikos, and Lie Ren." He gets his scroll out and closes out the messenger, already on the way to answer the next question…
"What do they look like?"
"Yeah, show us a picture!"
The room descends into a chorus of voices begging him to show a team picture. And he's got just the right one to show. As he pulls it up, his mind thinks back to that amazing memory. The picture itself is nothing too outlandish, just the four standing next to each other in the hot sun, with everyone holding up a peace sign, and Jaune also sporting a surfboard in his right arm.
I need to go back to the beach soon.
He hands his scroll off to his nearest sister, Taylor, and her eyes go wide. The other sisters crowd around her, and their eyes bug out too…
"Girls, it's just Pyrrha."
"THE PYRRHA NIKOS!" Every sister yells this at the same time, as if this is something Jaune should have seen coming from the beginning.
"Oh Jesus Christ… Can I have my scroll back now?"
"She has to come visit! I need her autograph!"
Not wanting to have her be fawned over for the next 20 minutes, Jaune nips that train in the bud by swiping the scroll back.
"Hey!" He quickly swipes away the picture before turning the screen off and putting it in his pocket.
"There, you guys got to see. Anything else you wanna know about them?"
"Which one are you banging?"
"Violet Arc! Don't make comments like that! You have been hanging around Saphron too much!"
"Everyone's thinking it!" Jaune looks around, only to see almost everyone, even his own father, averting their eyes away from her.
"I'm not doing that with anyone, okay!"
"Okay bro, I was just teasing! No need to be so crabby about it." She says one thing, but her eyes say another.
"… Okay Violet. I totally believe you." In the middle of that sentence, his scroll buzzes, but he pays no mind to it for now.
Not that he would have had a chance to look anyway, because Saphron rushes into the group, sitting herself right next to him.
Oh joy…
"Hey bro! You been having fun without us at Beacon?!"
Of course she starts right off with a loaded question…
"Uh… there's been some good and bad times…"
"I'm sure you have. Have you guys heard what happened at Beacon?"
"Saph!" Jaune throws up a hail mary to stop this conversation.
"What?! They're gonna ask anyway!"
"You told them?"
"I am now! You know what he did to Weiss Schnee of all people?"
Any thoughts Jaune may have had in his mind are now turning into alphabet soup. He knows there's no stopping this woman, he wishes he could be anywhere else but here right now, hell, even fighting Grimm is better than this torture! As Saphron begins to tell the most embarrassing thing that has happened to him in his entire life, only one thing goes through his mind. An internal scream so rich, so powerful, so full of emotion that if it was emitted aloud, all the windows would explode. But this power is kept inside himself, bouncing around his brain in a resounding:
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Meanwhile at Beacon…
*thump thump thump thump thump thump thump*
"How long has she been doing this? It's impossible for me to concentrate on any reading in this environment."
"20 minutes, Blake." Pyrrha enters the conversation with little fanfare, but even so, Ruby does not even look up from her pacing.
As Ruby completes her 318th circle, Blake and Pyrrha just cannot ignore her loud, worrying footsteps.
"Why can't Yang come back and talk to her already?"
"I don't know, but I'm putting a stop to this."
Pyrrha gets up from her seat and puts her hand on Ruby's shoulder, spinning her around until they are face to face.
"Ruby. Please. Stop pacing around. It's not going to help anything."
"But I'm scared, Pyrrha!"
"About what?"
"Jaune!"
"What about him?" She leads her toward one of the lower bunk beds, hoping to sit her down. Thankfully, Ruby accepts her lead. As they both sit, Blake finally releases a long held-in sigh of relief.
"Well… uh… I think I may have come on a little… too… strong…"
Pyrrha's mind flares up the tiniest bit with jealousy, not only because of Jaune but also because of her own failings at being forward, but to be a good friend, she accepts her loss.
"What did you do…?"
"I told him he would be a good pillow…"
"Well… uhhh…" Thoughts begin to overrun her mind of laying on Jaune's chest like he is a gigantic teddy bear. And really, that description isn't too much of a stretch. He is big, that's for sure. And he does look very cuddleable… and his hugs must-
"Pyrrha?"
"uh-uh- oh yeah! Just relax. There is no way that Jaune will look down on you for that, okay?"
"I know… but…"
"Don't worry too much. You can talk with him when he gets back. I know he wouldn't hurt you."
"Even if he says no?"
"Yes, even that. Remember last time? You two ended up cuddled together? I can't imagine he won't do that for you even if there is no relationship."
Just then, the door is abruptly shoved open to reveal what looks like a taller version of Weiss.
All three of them look up at the figure, confused as to who it is.
"Is this the dorm room for Team JNPR?"
Blake's mind suddenly connects the dots. "Are you… Winter Schnee?"
"Yes. And who are you?"
"Blake. Blake Belladonna."
"Hello, Miss Blake Belladonna. Do you have any knowledge on the whereabouts of Jaune Arc?"
...
"Uh…"
"I do. He's over with his family right now." Pyrrha comes in clutch with the save.
"Well, that is quite unfortunate. Willow has sent me down to take him to the Schnee Manor. Please tell him when he returns."
"Wait! What's happened to Weiss?! Why isn't she back yet?"
"I unfortunately have no information to provide regarding her whereabouts."
Ruby deflates faster than a bounce house with a gaping hole.
"Well.. that's unfortunate. Oh well. I will be sure to contact him as soon as possible. Is there anything else?" Pyrrha's eyes are as unflinching as can be.
"No. I am sorry for the interruption." Winter leaves no time for a response before shutting the door.
"Well… looks like he's coming back later than we all hope…" Pyrrha opens the scroll, brings up Jaune's phone number, and begins to type.
"And done." She puts her scroll up before looking to the other huntresses in the room.
"So, does anyone have any ideas why the top Schnee wants him?"
"It has to have something to do with Weiss, right?"
"Of course it does! I bet that Fearless Leader is going to stroll over there and-"
"NORA!" With Ren gone somewhere, Blake has to step in to try to prevent another catastrophe.
"What? You can't deny just how handsome he is! He'll have her bent over faster than you can say pancakes!" Everyone else stares at Nora like she grew a second head.
"You realize that Ruby is literally right next to me, right?" Ruby stares at Pyrrha for a moment before crossing her arms in annoyance. Nora steps in to speak up for her before her mind can even think.
"Yeah? So? She can handle these conversations! I bet Ruby would want to let Jaune bend her ove-"
"Nora! Let's go get some pancakes! I hear they have a breakfast buffet all day today!" After barely getting through that sentence without a stutter, Ruby stands up and grabs her with both hands, making doubly sure one hand is clamped tight over her lips. She whisks them both away with her semblance, leaving only a pink and red blur in their place.
Pyrrha and Blake stare at the door for a while. Neither of them can truly understand what just happened, and Pyrrha is about to go back to her scroll when Blake buts in at the last second.
"Pyrrha."
"Yes, Blake?"
"Why do you let Nora… you know… be Nora?"
"If Ren can't stop her, what chance do you think me and Jaune have?"
...
"Touché."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-" Oh shit. Wrong feed. *clears throat*
As one can probably guess, Jaune's wondrous tale is an absolute hit in the Arc household, with his entire family having a laugh of a time. It's been thirty minutes of nothing but jabs and teasing, and he may want to look into Arcadian cemeteries if this keeps up.
"Oh, remember when he tried to court Jennifer that one time? He had his hands up in the air and everything, and she just looked at him like he was a mime that got lost!"
"PAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" No one can tell who's laughing or what they are laughing about, it's all run together in one continuous choo-choo train of ha-has.
*bzzt* Jaune's phone goes off, finally giving him something to do that isn't slowly melting into a meat puddle.
AAA- Who texted me?
His hands nab the scroll, and open it up to see Pyrrha's name and profile pic along with some ominous words: Someone came to the dorm today looking for you.
He looks around, and finding that absolutely no one is paying any attention to him, sneaks behind his family and carefully walks outside, making sure to shut the door without making even a whisper of noise.
Someone came to the dorm today looking for you. It was someone named "Winter Schnee", and she said that Willow was looking to take you to the Schnee Manor. So you need to hurry up and get back on the nearest bullhead.
"Willow? Hmm… this must be for Weiss, isn't it." Jaune looks at the other text that he had ignored earlier. This one is from a restricted number with no profile picture.
Hello Jaune! Weiss has come and told me all about your little problem. I would like to extend a cordial invitation to you to come to this address as soon as possible. Arrive soon! And do not worry about Weiss, she is in good hands. You sure did fluster her quite well~!

His eyes reopen to a scroll with the message still staring him in the face.
"Nope, this isn't a crazy dream… I'm really doing this, aren't I." He looks to the sky, but the sun gives him no answer. Even if it could, the answer would have been "yes" anyway.
"*sigh* Let's do this."
Oh shit. 2000 word plot chapter. This is getting away from me, nooo!
Sorry for the delay, it because I was lazy, and because I'm working on something else right now that's not this. I've kinda lost steam on this fic, not gonna lie.
