"Get everyone out of here. Moore, you know your job?" Jacob Kane ordered as the Crows did their best to keep the people calm.

"Already on it sir." Sophie said as she moved to get Mary and Catherine, though honestly, her priority was more Mary since that was her promise to Kate, out of the building.

"Good. Once you get them out of here, I want you to personally take the wheel and get them to HQ. Do not take them home until I get there." Jacob said.

"Understood." Sophie agreed.

"Luke, you tapped into the Crow's comms?" Batwoman asked.

"Yep and as usual, they have no idea." Luke said.

"Good. What's the status of the valuable targets?" Batwoman asked.

"Sophie is getting Mary and her mom out of the venue and is personally taking them back to Crows HQ. Your dad is staying behind to try and keep the people calm." Luke said.

"We'll let them worry about that. Any ideas on where Alice is holed up?" Batwoman asked.

"Try turning around." a familiar voice said and Batwoman turned to see her insane sister standing there.

"And here I thought my job would be boring. When Batman left, Gotham went to hell in such a way that I thought that creating chaos wouldn't be any fun. But with you, well, things just got interesting." Alice said with a smirk.

"And here I thought I'd be fighting the Joker. Not this sad wannabe." Batwoman said.

"I'm not the Joker. But I guess in a way, you could say I was created by him." Alice said and Batwoman had to agree with that, since it was true. If the Joker hadn't had run their car off the road, then her mom would still be alive and Alice would still be Beth.

"Guess I've got my own enemy. Now, are we gonna keep talking?" Batwoman asked.

"Let's find out if this suit of yours is the real deal." Alice said as she tossed her butterfly knife at her, only for it to bounce off.

"That's right, the suit is the real thing. Though modified a bit." Batwoman said.

"Now I know this will be fun." Alice said.

"Careful what you ask for." Batwoman said as she tossed a batarang at Alice, who quickly dodged it.

"Time to see if you're as good at fighting as he was." Alice said.

"I'm better." Batwoman said as she lunged at her sister and landed a solid punch right in her face.

"Okay then. Let's do this." Alice said as she expertly unfolded her butterfly knife and charged at Batwoman.

Alice had to admit, this Bat was skilled. Her moves, they were flawless, she was clearly very well taught.

"You're surprisingly skilled. Definitely not a novice." Alice said as she and Batwoman traded fists.

"Learned from the best." Batwoman said as she kicked Alice's legs out from under her.

"I know that move. That's a move that's only taught on Coryana." Alice said as Batwoman punched her hard enough to cause her to cough up some blood.

"How do you know about Coryana?" Batwoman asked.

"You already know. Kate." Alice said.

"Who's Kate?" Batwoman asked.

"Please, little tip, if you want to keep your identity a secret, don't use the same moves as Batwoman that you used on me only a few hours ago." Alice said.

"Okay, good note." Batwoman said, since Alice did have a point.

"And now you're going to let me walk away without any further harm." Alice said.

"And why the hell would I do that?" Batwoman asked.

"Because I'm the only person in this city who has the key." Alice said.

"Key to what?" Batwoman demanded.

"Well Mommy dearest of course." Alice said.

"What are you talking about?" Batwoman asked, since there was no way Alice could be talking about what Kate thought she was.

"Uh, and here I thought daddy was the obtuse one. Let me spell it out for you in a way that you can understand. I'm not the only one who survived that day. Mommy did too and if you ever want to see her again, you'll let me go, since I'm the only person who can make sure that she has food and water." Alice said.

"She's bluffing. Has to be. They found your mom's body." Luke said over the comms.

"Yeah, that's what we thought about Beth too and yet here she is. I can't take the chance that she's lying." Batwoman said.

"Smart move, so, are we done here?" Alice asked.

"You can't keep her hidden from me forever. I will find her and then, you'll be lucky if there's anything left of you to throw into Arkham." Batwoman said.

"I look forward to it. But remember, until you're able to follow through on that threat, you can't touch me, or else Mommy dearest never comes home." Alice said.

"You'd kill your own mother?" Batwoman asked, since she knew that Alice was crazy, but not that crazy.

"I'll do anything to achieve my goals." Alice said as she walked away.

"What's the status of the crowd?" Batwoman asked Luke.

"The crows got everything under control and don't worry, Sophie and Mary are both safe at Crows HQ." Luke said.

"Good. I'm heading back." Batwoman said.

"Copy that." Luke said.

"Okay, let's hear it, you think that I'm stupid for letting go free and letting her get in my head like that." Kate said as she entered the Batcave.

"Actually, I would've done the same thing in your position, if Alice had told me that not only was my dad alive, but she was holding him hostage, I would've let her go too." Luke said.

"Yeah, speaking of which, you know we need to take another look into your dad's killer, since I'm assuming that the three officials who were involved in his case are still corrupt." Kate said.

"Pretty much." Luke said.

"We're going to make sure that the right person is paying for your father's death. I promise." Kate said.

"I know. I trust you Batwoman." Luke said.

"A sentiment that I'm hoping a majority of Gotham will soon share." Kate said.

"Please, you know that by the end of the week, anyone in this city who's not a crow or a criminal won't be praising God for the return of the Bat." Luke said.

"Actually, I think there's one crow who'd support it." Kate said.

"Sophie." Luke said.

"Depending on how things go, I may even tell her the truth about Batwoman. If I want things to work with her again, I can't lie to her about it forever and I want things to work with her. I got my second chance with Sophie and I'm not giving it up. Not this time." Kate said.

"Well, let's hope that she proves herself trustworthy. But anyways, you should probably head home before your family gets there. I'll start looking into your mom and then we'll pick up on it tomorrow." Luke said and Kate nodded in agreement as she moved to change out of her suit before heading out.
