Suddenly, Bridgette's coffee was all on her head and face courtesy of Lila's rage.

Lila immediately grimaced as she realized she had messed up.

"Somebody get me a security officer and the footage from the day of the stairs fall incident!" Damocles called into his phone after calling the administration office.

Bridgette was unimpressed by the coffee as she calmly picked up the empty cup and threw it in the trash can. When the cup was dealt with, Bridgette calmly took off her jacket and shirt to reveal a cropped tank top that was still nice and clean. She followed that by removing the sweat pants to reveal mid-thigh length skintight black shorts. Then she released her twin tails from their bands and stored away the messy clothes in her bag.

"I always try to be prepared for any situation." Bridgette revealed.

Everyone except Lila smiled in relief at her words.

Having missed the first two classes, nobody expected to see Bridgette coming to class with a note from Damocles and a fresh cup of coffee in her free hand. Nevertheless see her come in dressed in a cropped tank top and mid-thigh length black shorts on. Hair coated in coffee and face with coffee stains on her cheeks and forehead.

After class, Marinette worriedly approached her cousin only to stop short when she saw Felix irritably drag Bridgette to his seat where he promptly pulled out a towel, wet it in the sink as it was the science classroom they were in, and quickly begin running her dirtied hair through the wet towel.

"What in the world happened to you?! Why are you dressed like that?! You look ridiculous!" Felix grumbled.

Bridgette was surprised but just awkwardly let him clean her hair and face.

"Lila spilled my last coffee on me is all. This was what I had underneath since I was planning on practicing after school today and this is easier to move in. I was just going to go home during Lunch and clean myself off then." Bridgette revealed.

Felix grumbled about it being stupid and put the towel harshly away in his bag when he was done cleaning her hair and face.

"Whatever! Now will you speak to me now or are you still going to shun me?" Felix bit back.

Bridgette raised a brow but calmly answered, "I'm still pretty steamed about your constant calls yesterday late into the night, but I'll talk to you during lunch. I still have some stuff to do between classes. We can talk at my place, Adrien and Marinette can come with to make sure we don't kill each other." Bridgette said calmly before going back to her seat and pulling her phone into her hand.

Soon she was out of the classroom with her phone to her ear talking on the phone.

Marinette chased her cousin out of the classroom in surprise and Adrien was left to watch his cousin as Felix struggled to try to surpress a light dusting of his cheeks.

Bridgette was blushing as she put her phone away.

She was still in disbelief of what had happened. Felix, someone she had quickly determined was grouchy and aloof as hell had just fussed over her hair and face because she had coffee on them. He had grumbled but he had been fast to pull her towards his bag and then the sink of the classroom to wet a towel he had in his bag to clean off her hair and face. A lot of people have fussed over her before, it wasn't something she was uncomfortable with. But having a clearly emotionally closed off boy like Felix fuss like that over her... It was surprising and it made her heartbeat jump.

It was... new.

The boy is attractive, but his lack of caring made it easy to ignore that and his pretty eyes. Him showing that much care over her, even if only her appearance was something that scared her just as much as it excited her. It's not like she had some traumatic romantic past. She had had several boyfriends, and while most hadn't been serious, only one really hurt her heart. It hadn't been difficult to move past it either, her forgiving nature had helped as well as her own instincts. But it had still hurt plenty and she never wants to hurt like that. She just didn't want to deal with the pain, just the thought of working through that kind of pain was annoying. Even if that pain had inspired a few of her songs on the Perfect Lies Album of The Fallen Angels.

"Bridgette! You ran out of there so fast! What happened back there with Felix?" Marinette asked softly.

Bridgette smiled and simply shook her head no, "Something stupid, I promise. It won't happen again."

Little did the two girls know that Felix and Adrien had been approaching and had stopped around the corner.

"That wasn't nothing! I saw you blush for a second there, Bridgette. You felt something for Felix just then." Marinette said firmly but caringly.

Bridgette'sexpression tensed with the barest pain that made Marinette recoil back a bit.

"Even If I had felt something, Marinette, I won't be paying it any attention. I swore to myself I would not let myself fall down this rabbit hole again. Felix seems alright and all, but I do NOT want anything romantic with him. I'm going to be his bodyguard seeing as Gabriel Agreste apologized in a voicemail to me and to our family, and fake date him to hide said bodyguard job, but nothing else." Bridgette declared firmly but quietly.

Felix for some reason felt his heart hurt a bit, but he kept silent and just let Adrien lead him elsewhere. Quickly the two boys found themselves fencing while waiting for the Fencing Lesson to start while Bridgette was in the women's locker room changing and talking to Kagami. When they were done, the two headed out.

One awkward fencing lesson later, Felix and Adrien approached the bakery when Marinette almost fell into the street by accident. However Felix and Bridgette quickly pulled her to safety before a car could hit her without hesitation.

"Be more careful." Felix said flatly.

Bridgette helped Marinette onto her feet.

"You really should be more careful, Mari. You're going to get really hurt one day." Bridgette said.

Soon they reached the bakery and made their way to the bedroom of Bridgette. When they entered the room, the boys were amazed as the contrast between the cousins was fully displayed. While Marinette's room had pink walls and a lot of fashion designing tools, Bridgette's had music sheets, a drum set, a trophy case, and musical tools and instruments about the room. The walls of Bridgette's room were also a beautiful deep real-blood red. On Bridgette's bedside table was a small lamp, a speaker, a laptop, and a few guitar picks. On the wall above the bedside table was a guitar that was a midnight purple in color and had stars in the purple areas of the instrument. It was gorgeous. As the quartet sat down on her bed, Bridgette grabbed the guitar and a guitar pick and began skillfully and quietly playing it mindlessly.

"I know my Uncle was rather rude, but I still want you to be my secret bodyguard. You have skills that are undoubtedly very remarkable when it comes to fighting and swordsmanship." Felix commented.

Bridgette looked at him boredly, "Why do you need my so labeled "very remarkable" skills anyway?"

Felix tensed before answering truthfully, knowing it'd be best.

"Before I left England, my mother was killed. It was masked as a robbery gone wrong much like my father's own death several years ago. But I know for a fact that it was done on purpose. Probably someone wanted access to the Graham De Vanily fortune and assets as quickly as possible. I was attacked at the train station in London by three goons of whoever is behind everything. But I was able to deal with them skillfully with the help of my limited knowledge of self-defense and station security. They were highly skilled goons, and I almost was killed a few times." Felix explained tiredly and irritatedly.

Bridgette remained silence while Adrien and Marinette gaped at him for a few moments before Bridgette finally broke the silence.

"Okay, I'll be your bodyguard. Just make sure to tell your Uncle that I'll need two days to reveal my identity as Starlight. While Lila won't be a problem at school anymore, I still have some stuff to sort out as Starlight before I can be your bodyguard." Bridgette explained.

Marinette immediately became suspicious.

"What did you do?" Marinette questioned.

Bridgette smiled deviously, "I didn't do anything, Lila did it to herself."

"Bridgette!" Marinette called to her cousin suspiciously.

BOOM!!!

Screams broke out in the distance.

Bridgette rolled her eyes and sighed as she received suspicious stares from everyone in the room.

"All I did was look into Lila and arrange for her lies to be exposed. She deserved everything she got after that for siding with Hawk Moth." Bridgette explained boredly.

Felix smirked in amusement, "You are quite twisted, I respect that."

Bridgette returned his smirk, "I'm full of surprises."

Adrien and Marinette made terrible excuses and Bridgette covered Felix's mouth before the boy could expose the identities and excused the teens claiming they would hide out and discuss their bodyguard arrangements in more detail once hidden.

When Adrien and Marinette were gone, Bridgette removed her hand and pulled him up off her bed.

"Come on, Felix. We need to go hide. That akuma is likely headed here." Bridgette said tugging him out of the room and towards the exit of the apartment.

"Why didn't those two just--" Felix began to ask once they were out of the bakery and hidden away in an alley.

Bridgette sighed in understanding, "Those two have no idea who their hero partner is beneath the mask. Right now they have an entire love-hexagon thing going on. Hawk Moth is also getting super dangerous too. They're not ready to deal with knowing each others identities and certainly not ready to know that there's people who know their identities. Tikki, her kwami, knows that I know but has been keeping it secret seeing as Marinette hasn't even brought up the fact I know. I can only imagine Plagg has reacted the same way." Bridgette explained.

"I see... I suppose that makes sense. Though honestly, it is probably best that they don't know that I know. They are not very happy with me. Marinette because I upset you and I tried to kiss Ladybug once just to get at Adrien, Adrien because I tried to kiss Ladybug once, upset you, and the way I used to treat him when we were kids."

Bridgette looked at him in slight surprise.

"Do I even want to ask?" Bridgette asked.

Felix simply shook his no, "Probably not."

Bridgette made a gesture as if to say she'd take his word for it and suddenly in front of them someone dropped down, startling them.
