Spider-Man 2099: This's Miguel O'Hara. The Spider-Man of the Year 2099. Knuckles and I had to split up from the group to stop Ox Fire from trashing the city, while the rest of the team managed to stop Whiplash after she robbed a bank. Boy am I beat from all this crime-fighting in a single night. I need a break from all these jokers that don't know when to quit. Maybe I should…I'll think about it, once we wrap up this business with Stryfe when he shows.

Issue 5: Strange in Downtown
Nueva Vale
BGM-Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 OST-Into the Fray
Another day, another robbery in progress during the sunny morning at Nueva Vale. Daily Bugle Communications have caught footage of an army of legless, hovering robots robbing a skyscraper for its highly powerful and unstable isotopes. But just as the robots were leaving the facility with the stolen canisters, they find themselves confronted by the sudden arrivals of Spider-Man 2099 and Classic Sonic.
"Greetings, robots. But seeing as you're most likely evil robots…" quips a grinning Sonic, as Miguel web-yanks the canisters out of the robots' grasps, "We'll be taking these."
The robot horde immediately uses their laser guns to shoot at the heroes, who were quick to dodge each and every shot blasted at them. "Different world, different robots, same fun smashing them." The smirking Sonic strikes a robot with a Spin Attack, destroying it to bounce and eliminate another robot on the side, "Best way to start off the morning!"
While running away from a robot shooting him, Miguel tells him, "Let's make this quick and protect the Xenonium. Don't want to run late for work again." The 2099 hero slides under the robot to web its back and throws it on a wall to be destroyed.
"Chillax. I'm a robot-destroying expert. We'll run down their batteries as we smash them to pieces!" quips Sonic while spindashing into a robot, then follows up with a powerful air-kick that smashes the machine to pieces. "Somebody didn't get enough sleep." He mocks the destroyed robot.

Unaware to the snarky hedgehog, one robot is flying behind him for a surprise attack. It targets the mobian through its sensors while aiming its arm-rifle at his back, just as the hedgehog turns to face it with a surprised look on his face. And just when it was about to pull the trigger and shoot, a new ally suddenly appears to slam a familiar Vibranium Shield through its head, destroying it. "What the-?" Sonic remarks in shock and confusion from the save. As the smoke clears, he looks at the hero who saved him: A blonde ponytail-haired woman wearing a bodysuit and mask in the same style and colors as the legendary Captain America. The shocked Sonic gasps upon recognizing the famous mantle from his previous time-traveling adventures, "You're…Captain America?"
BGM-Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite OST-Theme of Captain America
The leader of Alchemax's Avengers, Captain America 2099, glances at Sonic before watching Spider-Man holding his own against the deadly robot horde and simply smiles, "Looks like you two could use a hand."
"A shield preferably." quips Miguel while slashing away a robot with his retractable talons but finds himself surrounded by several more.
Still with a smile on her face, Cap flaunts her shield to her enemies while remarking, "Good thing I came with one in hand." She throws her shield at the robot horde to have it ricochet between them until most of them were destroyed, giving Spider-Man the space he needs for a breather. A robot fires a relentless barrage at the super-soldier, who easily rams through them with her shield before bashing the robot to scrap. She dives away from more gunfire, stunning enemies in her path as she kicks another robot down, which was the limit the remaining droids could tolerate as they all focus their weaponry on the Avenger. But the Captain has another weapon to embarrass them with, which is a pair of energy wings that she immediately materializes and uses to take flight and avoid their attacks.
"She can fly?" Sonic turns to Spider-Man with that casual question.
"She can fly." Miguel casually quipped.
With that flight harness, the robots have become completely outmatched by Captain America as she easily flies away from their bullets before rocketing down with a shield slam into the lead robot of the horde, comboing them into a swift spin attack from both shield and wings, throwing the former to decapitate another robot. And just before that shield returns to her hand, the grunting super-soldier delivers a stunning flipkick on a robot and catches her weapon in time to smack down the remaining droid into decommission.

"Whooooa…" Classic Sonic was awestruck by this future's Captain America and how easily she destroyed those robots with just her shield, wings, and her overall highly impressive skills. He grins widely while approaching the super-soldier, "That was WAY PAST COOL! You're just as awesome as that other Captain America I fought butt with. Extra points for those energy wings."
Cap looks at the unfamiliar hedgehog to say, "Thanks. But I'm curious to know about this other Captain America."
"They're like you except without the wings and is a man." Sonic quipped.
Cap pauses for a moment to give him a confused eyebrow raise, "…Okay." She turns to Spider-Man to tell him, "Want to introduce me to your friend?"
"His name's Sonic." Miguel starts to answer, "He's from out of town and came here to help me solve a case. Nothing related to this robbery we just stopped. This blue devil convinced me to a little race around town 'til the DBC holo-casted this heist. Why are you here, Cap?" He asks the Avenger.
"Same reason as you. Was on patrol when I received word of a robbery-in-progress and flew here as fast as I could to stop it, but you two beat me to it." Cap answered.
"With a little help from you at the end." Sonic quipped.
Cap smiles at the kid hedgehog, "You showed off impressive skills stopping those robots, Sonic. You have heart." Her smile quickly turns to a frown, "It's a shame Alchemax would consider that heart criminal. They've been treating every hero that isn't working for them as just another thug that needs to be thrown in jail or worse. It infuriates me how they treat those who simply wants to do the right thing for the people." She reveals Alchemax's harsh stance against the superhuman community.
"Maybe it's time I retire. Have been considering it lately." says Spidey, revealing his thoughts to quit the heroics and resume a normal life, much to Sonic's mild shock.
"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Cap curiously asks the webslinger.
Miguel explains, "It was only recently Alchemax recreated the Avengers and put you in charge, no doubt in response of me messing up their plans on a daily basis and want a team to take me down. I'm a useless cancer to this city. Doesn't matter what I do. With all of my powers there's always another crook, and corporate slimeballs like Tyler Stone still smelling like a rose in his fancy tower!"
"A war that never ends." Cap summarizes his thoughts.
"A war that I'm getting tired of." Spidey commented.
"Fighting for truth and justice has always been a tough job." Cap says while placing a gentle, comforting hand on Miguel's shoulder, "If you want to retire, I won't stop you. From what I've seen, you've done MORE for this city than its people will ever know. Just take a quiet time to consider if this IS the future you want for yourself." Her words were being pondered by the webhead as she walks to pick up a Xenonium canister, "You two better go before I'm ordered to arrest you. Even if I was, I wouldn't do it, because you two are true heroes in my eyes. I'll stay here to help with clean-up. Hopefully I'll be finished in time to help the other Avengers stop that freakish cyborg Baron Zemo."
Kid Sonic gives the solider a smiling thumbs-up, "Thank you, Captain. We have places to be, like me going on a tour of Downtown. Catch ya later!" He jumps off the skyscraper with Spider-Man as they venture on new adventures today.
"Good luck." Cap smiles, having watched them take their leave.
Later at Downtown…
BGM-Mega Man ZX Tunes OST-Misty Rain
Sonic is relaxing on a hovercar beside Tails and Knuckles as Summer takes them for a drive into Downtown Nueva Vale, which is simply the ruins of the old New Vale City from the forgotten age. Lots of homeless people live in this ruined town, as well as the poor and criminals that use abandoned buildings like Fisk Tower as their headquarters for their war against the rich.
"This is Downtown?" Classic Tails checks out this dangerous historic district from the safety of the hovercar.
Summer nods to his question whilst driving, "Yup. This is what remains of the old city after the Heroic Age and Nueva Vale was built on top of it. Most of the streets are controlled by different gangs. Lots of people live down here when they can't afford the luxury of Uptown, or want to hunt for long-lost treasures and sell 'em for big bucks."
Knuckles grins, "My type of neighborhood. Drop me off so I can go on a little treasure hunt. I AM the world's greatest treasure hunter. Sure I'll find buckets of ancient relics by the end of the day." He boasted.
"Later. There's someone I want you to meet first. She's the leader of a group of Defenders that protect this town. I figure she could lend a hand and tell us a little more about Stryfe before he shows up." Summer told her new mobian friends.

Soon, Summer parks her car beside an abandoned warehouse that gives off a strange vibe to everyone but her. "Your friend lives here?" asks Sonic while jumping off the car to approach the warehouse, "Did she forget to pay the rent?"
"There is more to see than meets the eye." Summer delivers a cryptic quip to the confused hedgehog.
The shrugging Sonic walks towards the warehouse, "My eyes are working just fine, thanks, and sees that this is just an old-." Suddenly, he hits his face against a gargoyle that just appeared out of nowhere along with a nice mansion replacing the old warehouse, "OW! Who put that gargoyle over there? And who put that spooky house there?" He glances back at Summer, who simply responds with a scoffing smile as she knows the secrets of this mansion.
"Clever. Whoever this woman is used magic to disguise her home from any intruders." Knuckles deduced.
"That's right." Summer nods.
"I should learn that trick to disguise Angel Island to prevent anyone from stealing the Master Emerald again." Knuckles commented.
Another strange moment happens with the doors opening by themselves to let an ominous flock of black crows fly out, much to the mobians' confusion and nervousness. Summer walks into the mansion with no fear at all, prompting the mobians to be brave and follow her inside this Sanctum Sanctorum. They walk through a hallway, and as they do, they take a moment to glance at the various mystical artifacts that are up for display like a lamp and a suit of armor.
Tails shivers with fear while remarking, "Is it just me, or does it feels like we're being watched?"
"There are eyes in the ceiling." Summer quips while casually pointing the fox to the red ceiling patterned with closed eyes, until they open them to scare the fox.
"AAAH! Okay, I am completely freaked out!" Tails yipped.
"Don't worry…" says Summer, kneeling to put her comforting hands on his shoulders in a motherly fashion, "Stick close to me and I'll make sure nothing bad happens to any of you." She smiles, which cheers up the young fox to smile as well.
Knuckles continues walking until his gaze caught a box on a pedestal. The box gives off a strange vibe that got the echidna's interest as he approaches to touch it, "What's inside here?" But the moment his palm touches the box, it savagely opens with a swarm of monstrous octopus tentacles that knocks him down in humorous fashion. The idiotic guardian was quick to stand up and help his friends try to push the tentacles back inside the box, "Get back! GET BACK! GET IN THERE!"
"And you hate it when people touch your Master Emerald!" Sonic snarks at the echidna before they were able to push the tentacles back inside its box before closing it. The hedgehog takes a quick breather by wiping the sweat from his forehead, until an unfamiliar female from the shadows lets out a fake cough to scare aback from behind, "WHOA!"
BGM-Mega Man ZX Tunes OST-Metallic Soul
The mysterious woman walks out of the shadows to reveal herself in a casual jacket and wears a beanie over her long black hair. "Do not touch anything else. The universe is already in the middle of a great crisis." She warns the heroes.
"Guessin' you're the owner of this strange place." Sonic quipped.
"Just call me Strange, the Sorceress Supreme." The Strange of 2099 introduces herself to Team Classic Sonic with a gentle smile. "I've been expecting you, Freedom Fighters. And Knuckles. Welcome to my Sanctum Sanctorum."
"Hold up. You know who we are?" A shocked Sonic asks her.
"I just told you I'm the Sorceress Supreme, so I was aware when you three breached into this reality. I am also aware that the Master Emerald was stolen, as it disappeared from this reality the same time it vanished from your own." Strange replied, knowing that 2099's Master Emerald has disappeared from Wakanda Island.
The surprised Knuckles retorts, "There was a Master Emerald in this world too, and it was stolen at the same time? That can't be a coincidence."
"It's not." Strange says as she begins to explain while walking the group into her living room, "You see, the Master Emerald is a jewel of mystical power so VAST it transcends time itself. It creates what we experience as the flow of time. Remove it and that flow splits into branching realities in this endless multiverse, realities that will soon be overrun with disasters that will cause millions to suffer unless the Master Emerald is returned to its native timespace." She finishes her little lecture just as they enter the living room.
"That's why we came to you, Strange." Summer said with a serious expression. "According to my friends, a madman by the name of Stryfe stole the Master Emerald from their world and is trying to collect 'Time Factors' that'll help him conquer the timeline. We hope you can tell us more about this man and how to stop him."
"I do not know any more about this Stryfe than you do, except the fact that he'll be arriving in this world in just a few short days, and that he was chosen by a great force to participate in this Time War." Strange answers her former apprentice.
"Time War?" A confused Sonic questions while scratching his head.
"There's been a Time War going on?" Tails asks the sorceress.
"A War that expands throughout space and time. Most beings are unaware of the conflict or when the war took or takes place. As the Sorceress Supreme, I've been doing my best keeping tabs on the War and its transcendent battles and have come to deduce that when everything is said and done…" Strange then gives them a teasing smile, "Well, I'll just leave you all in suspense."
Sonic scowls at the teasing sorceress, "Don't be a jerk, Strange. This sounds serious. The entire universe is at risk!"
"I'm aware." Strange quips casually.
"Can you at least throw us a bone in how to prevent a bad future, since I know that's what you're trying to hide from us?" Sonic crosses his arms, impatiently tapping his foot while staring sternly at the Sorceress Supreme.
"Who said that? Not me." quips Strange while walking to a mystical cauldron in the middle of the room, "I CAN tell you that this whole War revolves around the ancient God Flame that created time." With her magics, the waters in the cauldron erupts before morphing into a white flame that hovers in midair for everyone to surround and stare at, "Solaris. Born in the dawn of time and worshipped by many civilizations throughout time and space." She says, as the projection of Solaris's Flame Form seamlessly transforms into its creature-like Battle Form that's made of light, "The Celestial of Time that carved the destines for all, and has on countless occasions restarted history in destructive ways in order to find, what HE deems, as perfection."
Knuckles crosses his stoic arms remarking, "That's pretty selfish."
"Most gods are." Strange quipped. "During one such destruction and rebirth of history, Solaris was defeated by three golden warriors, each representing a different time period. One of Past, of Present, and of Future." Her cauldron projects three golden silhouettes that mysteriously resemble mobian hedgehogs, much to Sonic's confusion and curiosity but not to the point of questioning it aloud. "But before he was vanquished, he released the Time Factors you spoke of so it may one day be reborn. And it has done just that when some of the Time Factor slipped through a crack in time and merged with a black hole full of time energy to take the shape of the Time Eater Sonic and S-Man defeated a while ago." She projects the image of the Time Eater to her friends.
"S-Man?" The confused Knuckles commented.
"She's talking about Spider-Man." Summer clarified for him.

Tails ponders, "So to summarize, the Time Eater was the reborn form of this Solaris that tried to destroy history until he was defeated by Sonic and Spider-Man, releasing another set of Time Factors that hid inside them until the day he can resurrect himself."
"Or for someone to personally use the Factor to conquer the universe." Strange added.
"That being Stryfe. But that still doesn't explain why he'd steal the Master Emerald when he's already goin' after a power just as great." Sonic contemplated.
"He wants to put us at a disadvantage. He knows the Master Emerald is one of the only weapons in existence that could stop the power of Solaris." Summer speculated.
Sonic shrugs casually, "Then he should steal the Chaos Emeralds too if he's afraid of a fair fight."
But Knuckles growls impatiently, "I don't care why he stole it! The second he shows his ugly helmet to this world, I'm knocking it off his head and taking back my Emerald!"
"Keep a level-head, Knucklehead. Remember, this guy took us out like we were nothing. We need to be ready for the day he shows up again. Both this world and our world are counting on us to beat him." Sonic told his hotheaded echidna buddy, who begins calming down.
"The best way to defeat Stryfe will be as a team, working alongside S-Man and the Summer Maiden." Strange told her new friends.
Sonic tilts his confused head upon hearing about the Maiden, "Summer Maiden? Who's that?" He turns to Summer to ask, "That you? What, is that your superhero name?"
Summer sheepishly scratches her hair while quipping, "One I've been keeping secret from the public to protect friends and family and stuff. I'm the newest in a line of Summer Maidens that are host to vast magical power, either by choice or by dumb luck." She then frowningly shrugs, "And in my case, I was unlucky enough to gain this power and be tutored by Strange to master it." Her silver eyes glow a fiery red simply to reveal herself as the Summer Maiden to the mobians.
"THAT explains the tornado you used to save that bus." Tails commented, having now learned the truth behind that mysterious save from before.
"Doesn't sound like you're too happy being this Maiden." Sonic noticed the disappointment in Summer's tone when she briefs them on her magic power.
Summer explains, "If people like Alchemax knew I had this power, they'd want to use me as a guinea pig for their weapon experiments and WILL go through insane lengths just to steal my power. They've been trying the same for Spider-Man all this time, capture him dead or alive and replicate his powers to create an army of super-soldiers. Overall, I don't mind being a Maiden if it helps to save more lives. 'With great power comes great responsibility', my granduncle loves to say. Still not enough to convince the Overprotective Stubborn-Man that I can handle myself when he's not around." She sasses about Spider-Man.
"Doesn't help he's working on his superhero retirement plans." Sonic spill the beans to Summer about her ex-boyfriend planning on quitting the superhero life.
Summer angrily scowls down at the sweatdropping hedgehog, "HUH?! What's this about retirement?!"
"Sounds like S-Man has been going through some personal issues." Strange quips while sitting on the head of a chair. "Would love to join in and talk some sense into him, but I have my own issues that I'm working with."
"And what would those be?" A curious Tails asks her.
Strange answers, "I recently learned that Alchemax got their hands on La Fleur du Mal."
"The French poem book?" Summer commented.
"Not that." quips Strange while shaking her head, "This Flower of Evil is an ancient sword of bloodlust that is traditionally passed down a family of Guillotines." She mystically projects to her friends the image of aforementioned demonic blade for them to note in their minds, "Don't know HOW Alchemax got their dirty hands on the sword, but if they learn to unlock its dark power, a new darkness will spread throughout the city. I've been discussing with the other Defenders how to take it back but haven't settled with a plan. Few of us proposed of simply raiding their HQ for the sword, but that would cause unnecessary deaths to those caught in the crossfire."
Summer steps forward with a smile saying, "Then leave it to me. We already have an inside man in Alchemax and will do anything to bring them down." She briefly mutters, "Unless he really plans on quitting." before speaking aloud again, "Just give me a moment to call him and tell him what he needs to do." She told the Sorceress Supreme of her plan to retrieve the Blood Sword.
Alchemax Tower, Cafeteria
"You're an English professor. What's the sudden interest in French poetry?" asks Miguel, being his usual snarky self after answering a call from Summer through his futuristic cell phone whilst standing in a private corner of the Alchemax cafeteria to avoid anyone overhearing their conversation.
'Because this Fleur du Mal isn't a book! It's a magic demon sword that Alchemax stole and YOU need to steal back before all hell breaks loose. And that's not figuratively.' Summer sasses at her ex-lover.
"Alright, I understand. Tone down the sass. Just finished lunch. I'll find out where they're holding the sword. Stay with Strange and the kids and be safe until I meet you Downtown." Miguel replies, quickly taking his new mission seriously.
'And once you show up, you and I are going to have a serious talk.' Summer speaks with a stern tone that confuses Miguel, since he doesn't know that she learned about his retirement plan.
The angry huntress then hangs up the call, just as Miguel puts away his phone and is greeted by his friendly rival in science, Hope Kintobor. "Who were you talking to? Your girlfriend?" She asks him through a greeting smile.
"EX-girlfriend." Miguel retorted. "She heard something about a 'Fleur du Mal' while thinking of switching professions but keeps hearing two different stories, with one referring to it as a legendary sword and the other as a poem book. Doubt you have any answers." He snarks to his co-worker, which is his secret way to gain information without looking suspicious.
"Actually I do, and it's been playing a central role in Project Red Flower." Hope replied.
"We're wasting our time researching a book?" Miguel quipped.
Hope calmly retorts, "Researching a sword in order to reverse-engineer the demonic forces within using our technology and corporate mystical arts. I'm not too involved in the project since I'm not the biggest fan of building weapons so I don't know the end goal, but I remember hearing they finished creating a prototype."
"Bad idea building weapons based on Hell." Miguel scowls upon hearing Alchemax has been creating weapon prototypes based on a legendary dangerous sword.
"And what's so bad about building weapons?" asked a male voice from behind that sounds so annoying and uncaring about the welfare of others that it got a lowly growl from Miguel before turning around to face the short blond-haired man in a business suit. That man happens to be the corrupt CEO of Alchemax, the arch-nemesis of Spider-Man, and secretly the biological father of Miguel O'Hara, Tyler Stone.
'Fantastic. It's my arrogant, douchebag, shock of a father, Tyler Stone. No question he approved Project Red Flower for his selfish gain.' Miguel said in his head while watching his father approach him and Hope.
"Mr. Stone!" Hope remarks in surprise upon her boss's sudden appearance.
"Weapons were built to protect the world. Without them, we'd stand powerless against those who wish to destroy us and everything we've built over the last century." Stone says with a sleezeball of a smile to his two ingenious employees.
"You forgot to conveniently mention that weapons can also be STOLEN and turn against us, doing more harm than good to the world." The scowling Miguel snarks at his villainous father.
"I didn't forget. Just chose not to mention them." Stone quipped.
"Then I should mention that I'm not in the mood for any meetings with you. I have more important business to attend to." Miguel sasses with his arms crossed in seriousness.
Stone smiles with a shrug, "You're in luck. Just finished lunch in time to attend a meeting with someone else. I'll see you later, Mike." He pats his secret son's shoulder, angering him with the annoying nickname while passing him with a goodbye wave, "You two keep up the good work and submit them to me once they're done." He said to the young scientists while leaving the cafeteria, not knowing Miguel was glaring at him with looks of suspicion.
Shortly after, in an Air Vent…
BGM-Super Dragon Ball Heroes OST-Fu's Plot
Sensing a connection between this meeting and Project Red Flower, Miguel switched to his superhero costume and crawls through an air vent as a silent predator towards Stone's office while thinking to himself, 'The only thing I'll submit to you, Stone, is my resignation if you're stupid enough to build weapons based on demonic origin. Curious to know if this meeting will provide me answers on what you're up to.'
Spider-Man nears a grate above Tyler Stone's office and crouches just close enough to eavesdrop on his father sitting behind his desk, waiting for someone to walk into his office. And someone did. It's Winston, a black human cyborg with visor glasses and the personal assistant to Tyler Stone.
"Is he here, Winston?" Stone asks his secretary.
"Right on time." Winston gestures to a mysterious man entering the office. A man wearing an ancient orange robe and has a symbol burnt onto his forehead as well as the skin around his eyes being dark purple and outlined silver and cracked.
'Never seen that guy around before. Who is he, and why did Stone call him here?' A curious Spider-Man thought, continuing to eavesdrop on the coming conversation between Stone and the mysterious man.
Stone smiles smugingly at his mysterious guest as he cups his hands on his desk to say, "Thank you for accepting my invitation, Kaecilius…" He reveals the name of this mysterious sorcerer, "Shall we get to business?"
"Make it quick. You hired me to 'test run' a weapon based off the legendary Blood Sword?" Kaecilius questions his employer. "How did you come to acquire the Sword when I have failed to find it for years? I have heard the Guillotine lineage is no more."
"Quite simple. Their last surviving descendant sold the Sword, and all the rights to its powers, to us." says Stone, still with the egoistical smile that makes Miguel furious as he continues talking, "Opportunity came knocking and we were quick to reengineer the energies within the blade, blending mystic arts and science. And THIS is the result!"
Stone presses a button on his desk that activates a hidden teleporter, which promptly materializes an unholy machine born out of cutting-edge technology and ancient dark magic. A black, humanoid robot with red accents that also wears a red holographic hooded cloak and holds a silverfish evil blade that shocks the eavesdropping Spider-Man.
"Say hello to 2099's NEWEST Guillotine and its own Soulsplitter, capable of digitizing the souls of humans, mobians, faunus, whatever!" Stone proudly introduces his latest weapon to his hired sorcerer.
Miguel's eyes widen in horror and shock from what he heard, 'The SHOCK?! That's what the Sword is capable of?! Alchemax has been experimenting to digitize SOULS?!' He mentally growls, 'I expected nothing less from a soulless monster like Stone!'
Meanwhile, Kaecilius walks around the robotic Guillotine 2099, inspecting it from every angle. Though the emotionless robot stands cold and silent, the sorcerer could capture a sense of its incredible dark potential. "Hmmm…I can sense a great power from this machine." He comments before looking at Stone, "But can it truly wield that power without fail?"
"It IS a prototype." Stone quips as he arrogantly leans forward on his desk. "That is where you come in. I want this weapon to be tested in urban pacification so it may develop as the blueprint for an unstoppable army of sword-wielding robotic warriors. Alchemax will CRUSH the competition. Neither Schnee nor Stark will challenge MY supremacy." He reveals his master plan, inadvertently to Spider-Man in the air vent.
"Where do you want me to test this weapon?" Kaecilius asked.
Stone casually looks and rubs his fingers together saying, "Mmmm, why not Downtown. It's been desperate for urban renewal. You can even test the Guillotine's soul-stealing powers on those Defender idiots, and Spider-Man if he gets in your way." His order stuns Spider-Man to core since his friends are in danger, "They've been causing me trouble for a long time. Researching their souls will be my way of forgiving their crimes."
Kaecilius smiles ominously, "I'm thankful you mentioned the Defenders. They've been a source of trouble for me as well, especially their leader." He turns to the exit as he walks pass Guillotine, "Come, Guillotine. Help me settle a score between sorcerers." He wickedly smiles as he leaves the office with the robot, alongside Spider-Man as he hurries to warn his friends of the coming danger.

KFX Here: Since Family Business, I've been wanting to bring back Guillotine in some form or fashion in this saga, and now I have. Guillotine 2099, based off the same character from the mobile game, Marvel Contest of Champions. We'll see her in action in the next chapter. Also, this week marks the 4th anniversary of the United Heroes Series. I want to thank everyone for reading my stories for this long. Your support and reviews are what inspire me to be a better fanfic writer. I won't be perfect, but I'll continue to write the best stories that you all can have fun reading. I'm still planning out the anniversary story, which is The Solaris Dynasty, so I don't have a sneak peek for you all to read. I can say a few things about it. First, it'll take inspiration from various Marvel Comic storylines such as The Kang Dynasty and Avenge the Earth, and video games such as Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) (for obvious reasons) and Lego Marvel Superheroes 2. Kang the Conqueror and Mephiles the Dark are planned to be the main villains of Solaris Dynasty, which will serve as the conclusion of the Time War Saga and possibly the Super United Heroes series. Again, thank you for all your support these past 4 years.
