A/N: I know there have not been many chapters in this book for the previous seasons but I hope to do more chapters for the remaining third season.

"The Pride Lands will never end while the Lion Guard is here. Just like this tiny tree we'll keep growing stronger. Scar will never defeat us!" Kion says as the group is walking before he goes over to a tree.

"We'll never give up." Fuli says.

"We'll stand strong together." Alexis says.

"We'll fight for what's right."Beshte says.

"We'll defend the Circle of Life!" Ono shouts.

"Yeah! What you guys said!" Bunga shouts happily.

"Lion Guard!" A voice shouts revealing to Anga as she comes over.

"Anga? What's going on?" Kion asks.

"One of the bird patrols spotted Scar's army. Near Mapango Cliffs." Anga says.

"Then that's where we're going. Till the Pride Lands' end..." Kion shouts as he begins to leave.

"Lion Guard defend!" The group shouts in union as they follow Kion.

*Timeskip*

"Well done Kion. Lion Guard." A voice says revealing to be Simba and Rafiki as they come over.

"Hello your Majesty, Rafiki." Alexis says as she smiles.

"Thanks Dad." Kion says.

"Yes, yes! Kion and the Lion Guard are growing up. And Kion's Roar is more powerful than ever." Rafiki says.

"Yes. That's true." Simba says as Kion looks at him curiously.

"Dad? What is it?" Kion asks

"You and the Guard have proven you can defend the Pride Lands. But it hasn't stopped Scar's army. We need a change in strategy. I say we take the fight with Scar into the Outlands." Simba says as the others give surprised expressions.

"'Bout time if you ask me." Bunga says.

"It is time. Time to defeat Scar and his followers. Once and for all." Simba says.

"Dad even if we defeat Scar's army we don't know how to defeat Scar himself." Kion says as he gives an unsure expression.

"Without his followers Scar will be powerless and we can have peace in the Pride Lands once again." Simba says.

"We can help too Your Majesty. My hyenas know the Outlands better than anyone." Jasiri says as Alexis nods.

"Thank you Jasiri." Simba says.

"Well... I guess if everyone who respects the Circle of Life helps us..." Kion says.

"Yes! Yes! Everyone can help!" Rafiki says happily.

"Right. Lion Guard we need everyone who's willing to fight." Kion says as he looks at the others.

"I'll get the crocs and antelopes." Fuli says.

"I'll talk to the elephants and rhinos." Beshte says.

"Anga and I will assemble the birds." Ono says.

"I'll go with Jasiri to get her clan on board which I'm sure won't be hard." Alexis says as Jasiri looks at her.

"And I'll get the galagos." Bunga says as everyone leaves.

*Timeskip*

"Hold it right there hyenas!" Kion shouts as the group arrives outside the lair where Janja, Cheezi, and Chungu are.

"Janja The Lion Guard!" Chungu says in alarm.

"Yeah I see 'em, furbrain. But they can't stop us from gettin' into their Lair. Come on!" Janja shouts as he and his hyenas take off running.

"They're headed for the Lair!" Bunga shouts.

"Why the Lair?" Alexis asks.

"I dunno. But I'm sure Scar's got 'em up to something. Come on! That's far enough Janja." Kion says as the group follows Janja and his hyenas into the lair.

"Yeah! Get outta our Lair." Bunga says.

"You kiddin'? We just got here. Boys scatter!" Janja shouts as he and his hyenas scatter while running inside the lair.

"What are they up to?" Fuli asks.

"They must be after something in the Lair." Ono says.

"Okay but what?" Alexis asks as she looks at Ono.

"Doesn't matter. Let's round 'em up, and kick 'em out." Kion says.

"With pleasure. Zuka Zama!" Bunga says as he runs toward the hyenas.

"Glad he's on our side." Fuli says as the group starts chasing the hyenas in attempt to get them out of the lair.

"Hapana! Kion we have a problem!" Ono shouts as he goes over to Kion and Beshte as Alexis sees the lair is on fire.

"Kion there's a fire!" Alexis says as goes over to Kion while avoiding a falling vine that's on fire.

"Hyenas! Get away from the fire! If it doesn't hurt you the smoke will." Kion says seeing the hyenas are by the fire at the entrance as the group is trapped in the lair.

"Common knowledge really." Ono says as the group goes over to the hyenas.

"Kion? The whole Lair is filling with smoke." Beshte says as more smoke is filling the lair.

"Use the Roar to blast us outta here." Bunga says.

"No Bunga. That'll cause the lair to collapse with us inside." Alexis says as she looks at Bunga.

"There's gotta be another way out." Kion says.

"Well we better find one soon..." Fuli says as she and Alexis are coughing.

"Yeah it looks like all of Pride Rock is on fire." Beshte says as he looks through the hole in the ceiling.

"Ono! Fly out of here and make sure my mom, dad and Kiara are okay." Kion says.

"Affirmative!" Ono says as he flies out.

*Timeskip*

"Kion? Any ideas?" Bunga asks as he is coughing.

"The fire's too hot to get close. We'll need to wait it out." Kion says as the group goes over to Beshte's pool.

"Hey! We could use the water from Beshte's pool to put it out. See?" Bunga asks as he splashes Fuli.

"Seriously?" Fuli asks in annoyance.

"Once the fire gets close enough?" Bunga asks nervously.

"I was thinkin'. The water in my pool has to come from somewhere." Beshte says as Alexis looks at him.

"Like somewhere outside the Lair?" Alexis asks curiously.

"Sure. The stream that leads to Lake Shangaza's not too far from here." Beshte says.

"Seems like a good time to find out if it does." Kion says.

"Be right back." Beshte says as he goes into the water.

"Guys! Come on! This is our way out!" Beshte shouts as he surfaces in the water.

"Great work Beshte." Kion says.

"It's a bit of a swim. So hold your breath and follow me." Beshte says.

"Swim? Uh guys? You know me and water. We don't exactly get along." Fuli says as she looks at the water.

"You'd rather be stuck in all this smoke?" Bunga asks.

"Don't worry Fuli. You can just hold on to me. I'll get you through." Beshte says as he looks at Fuli.

"Thanks Beshte." Fuli says as she gets on Beshte's back.

"Uh, Kion? Can we come too?" Chungu asks as he and the others look at the hyenas.

"I still respect the Circle of Life. Even the lives of those who don't. Come on!" Kion says as the group then follows Beshte through the water before reaching the other end safely.

"There. Told ya it wasn't so bad." Beshte says.

"Oh no!" Kion shouts fearfully as he sees Priderock is on fire in the distance.

*Timeskip*

"Ah Simba. You've managed to escape my little scheme. Too bad the same can't be said for the Lion Guard." Scar says as he is appearing in the flames at Priderock as the group arrives where the others are.

"Guess again Scar." Kion says.

"You're okay!" Ono says happily.

"Ah Kion. Little leader of the Lion Guard. Time for you to lead everyone out of the Pride Lands. While you still can." Scar says.

"We'll never surrender to you Scar!" Kion shouts.

"You don't have the power to defeat me. But if you ever care to try you know where to find me." Scar says as he laughs before disappearing as the other animals show doubt.

"No. Everyone listen. Scar's just trying to scare you!" Alexis says as the other animals still show concern and doubt.

"Kion? We do know how to defeat Scar. Don't we?" Ma Tembo ask.

"Well... Not exactly." Kion says.

"I think I can help you out there." A voice says revealing to be Janja and Jasiri.

"Janja?" Alexis asks curiously as Janja's hyenas run over to him excited to see him.

"Jasiri? What's going on?" Kion asks.

"I know it sounds odd. But I think you should hear what Janja has to say." Jasiri says.

"Janja? What brings you here?" Simba asks as he looks at Janja.

"I uh... I know some stuff that might be helpful." Janja says nervously.

"Helpful how?" Alexis asks as she looks at Janja.

"I know how to defeat Scar." Janja says.

"And why should we believe you? A sworn enemy of the Pride Lands." Simba asks.

"Uh well..." Janja says before he starts singing.

"Janja! Ugh. I meant tell Simba what you know." Jasiri says.

"Oh! Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right..." Janja says.

"No offense Jasiri. But it is difficult for me to believe that Janja has changed sides." Simba says as he looks at Jasiri.

"Your Highness you gave me a chance when no one else in the Pride Lands would. If Janja's information is useful we should use it to beat Scar. If it isn't? Then we crocodiles will be happy to have him for a late night snack." Makuu says as he growls at Janja.

"Whoa! Hey easy. Everyone just settle down a bit. Nobody said anything about eating anyone... least not yet anyway." Alexis says as she steps in front of Janja.

"Makuu's right Dad. If Jasiri believes Janja I think we should at least hear what he has to say." Kion says.

"Okay. Well Scar says that only Kion can defeat him. By using the Roar." Janja says.

"If the Roar brought Scar back I guess it could get rid of him too." Kion says.

"But it's gotta be the most powerful Roar you've got." Janja says.

"Oh yeah! Just blast Scar with the Roar." Bunga says.

"And you gotta Roar inside the top of the volcano. So the flames of the volcano overwhelm Scar." Janja says as Alexis looks at him.

"The volcano?" Alexis asks.

"Huh? Getting there won't be easy." Fuli says.

"All the more reason to proceed with the plan to attack the Outlands." Simba says.

"Yeah. But now it's not just about defeating Scar's army. We have a plan to defeat Scar as well." Kion says.

"The hyenas will help too, Kion. Right?" Jasiri asks as she looks at Kion.

"Yeah. That's right. All of the hyenas will help." Janja says proudly.

"Very well. Kion?" Simba asks.

"Everyone. Get some rest. Tomorrow we go into the Outlands." Kion says.

"Scar and his forces will be defeated once and for all. And we will have peace in the Pride Lands." Simba says as everyone cheers and heads off to get some rest.
