Well, it's been a while since I wrote anything for this story. It took longer than I liked to get this done, but hey, better late than never.
This story, is honestly my favorite to write for. It's something different of a pace, and gives me ideas for the future.
To simplify the guest reviews response, I completely understand, and sadly I don't have a Deviantart account anymore, it's nice to know that it's an option. I won't go to deep into the response, as I am sure you just want to read the chapter, so enjoy.
Fucking Aaron. He really thinks acting like a nice guy is going to get me to like him?
Last time I trusted someone who acted nice to me, they broke my trust, heart, and items left from my Father.
I barely trust Mega, and that's only because so far, he has earned it. I won't give my trust to anyone, fuck that. Especially those who were close to my father, only to drop that friendship, especially if they were Brothers of his the Brother Bond, when the person disappears. I won't risk it, having my trust and heart broken again. I made that mistake once with HER, but I won't let it happen again.
"Kid, are you okay?" Mega asks, putting a tissue to my face, trying to stop the tears coming from me. I quickly wipe the tears off using my sleeve, before looking at Mega.
"Yeah, I am fine Mega. Just thinking on something in the past."
"I am glad you aren't hurt or anything. It did sound interesting, to go this AMAKEN, though kid, I sense something off last night. An FM-ian signature."
"Any clue on who it could be?"
"I have a few ideas, but the one I am thinking of, shouldn't be to bad."
"Who do you think it could be?"
"Cygnus. He was right behind Taurus, before he got stopped by his vanity and dreams of splender, at least temporarily. I believe at least. I sense an FM-ian arrive, but I don't know where they could be. So be on guard kid."
"Okay Mega. Now, we should get some rest, for tomorrow. Mom's forcing me to go." I grumble out, not wanting to go to AMAKEN.
I normally, would be excited to go to a place like AMAKEN. I love space, the idea of exploration of it, the planets, and stories Space can tell, do to it's immense, near infinite size.
But, at the same time, AMAKEN is run by Aaron, the bastard, you already know, I said it too many times to count at this point. I highly dislike and distrust Aaron. I don't believe him for a second, about him caring about me and mom. If he cared, he wouldn't have done what he did.
I go into my bed, and try to think of other things, like sleep for instance.
An hour of tossing and turning later, I get out of my bed, more annoyed and tired than I would have liked. Looks like I have to take a Melatonin.
I go downstairs, making sure to stay quite, as Mom's asleep, and when I open the cupboard with the Melatonin in it, I notice something off.
I look closely, and remember now. It's the shotgun my Dad had, who he got from his dad, and so on and so forth.
While the shotgun itself is old, it surprisingly still works, and we have a box of shells near it, should someone foolishly break into, or force themselves into the house, though, if it's used, it has to be a serious emergency, as stipulated in the legal agreement we had to make in order to not have it confiscated due to it being, well a shotgun.
I grab the Melatonin, take one, then go back to bed, and wait for the mother fucker to kick in. Even though science has advanced a lot, same with medicine and all that, the human body takes time to activate said medication.
Abot thirty minutes of waiting, I feel it kick in, hop back into bed, and fall asleep.
The first thing I come to see, is an area if pure white, like a box. All sides, angles, and spots are white.
"Fan-fucking-tastic, I must be having one of those dreams again." I mutter to myself.
I float in the white space, bored out of my dream mind, when I hear a voice.
"Hello Geo, it's been a while, hasn't?" The dark feminine voice speaks, and I look around, recognizing it.
"What do you want bitch!? Isn't it enough that you broke my trust, and dads stuff!? Now you bother my fucking dreams!?"
"Oh Geo, you know that I am not here. It's all a dream."
"And? This is my fucking dream you fucking cunt! Leave!" I yell at the voice, identifying a shadowy figure a bit of a distance away.
The figure slowly walks up to me, speaking all the while. "Oh, I thought we got along well, Geo, what with us having the same issues." The voice purrs out.
"The same, like Water and oil you sadistic, manipulative cunt!"
"Oh, does little Geo have a hard time seeing me? Looks like you need to be taught a lesson, Geo."
With a wave of her hand, the room shifts to that of my dads home office, and I see the shadowy figure and myself in the room, with chains locking my arms and legs in place.
"Ah that's more like it. You know, we could have lots of fun here and now, you know. All it takes is fo-"
I spit at her face, watching it hit her cheek, and the grin she has drops. "Well then, have it your way Geo." she says, leaving, and dropping a light match on the wooden floor.
"No!" I watch helplessly, as the room gets consumed in fire, as I continue hearing her laughter haunt my dream, and everything connected to my dad going up in flames.
I shoot up from my bed, screaming, heart going what feels like a million miles an hour, and hyperventilating. I watch as Mega quickly comes out of my Transer, looking around extremely worried.
"Kid you okay!?" I can hear the concern leaking through his voice worried about me.
"Yeah just a bad dream." I try to calm Mega, only for my door to slam open, and my mom to come up running to me.
"Geo! Are you okay!? I heard you screaming! Was it another one of those dreams again?" Mom asks, hugging me to try and help calm me down.
"I... Yeah, I had another one of those dream." I look at the time, and find its nearly 6 am. I have to go soon anyway, to Amaken.
Mom just sighs, before letting me go. "I love you Geo, I wish I could stay longer, but I have to go to work now. Be careful son, and please don't cause and incident there, please?"
"I... I promise."
"Thank you dear." Mom smiles at me, before rushing out, to finish readying herself for work.
I sigh, before getting out of bed, try to calm myself after that. I quickly get dressed in my normal clothes, eat breakfast, and head to the bus stop.
Going past the three stooges houses, I reach the bus stop, to see someone waiting there. A taller, tanned individual with a dark brown hairdo and headed that looms like someone used balls for his hair, rather than anything else, and a friendly smile.
"Ah, hello there young man."
I just stay silent, not wishing to talk to him, as I have no clue on who he is.
"Ah, don't wish to talk I see. Understandable. I happen I be taking my class to Amaken for a school trip. You know, you look about my students age. What's your name young man?"
I just continue ignoring him, wishing the bus would arrive.
"Hey Mr. Mitch! Oh, Geo."
Great, it's Luna.
"Geo? Oh your Geo Stellar, aren't you?" Mitch, I assume to be Lunas teacher, realizes. "It's nice to meet you, Geo. If you went to class, I would be your homeroom teacher. I must say, your grade are amazing, though it's sad you don't come to class, it would be splendid to teach you. But you have your reasons, and I won't pry or try and force the issue."
Well, that's a first. Most teachers I would have had, tried to get me to come to their class, like Luna, just less persistent. Combined with him realizing that if I don't want to go, I won't, well, I have to give him the slightest of respect at minimum, for not using his head as a coat hanger, unlike that idiot of a principle, man's a pain in the ass to deal with.
"Yes, I am Geo. I am just waiting for the bus." I notice the bus on the way here.
"Well, it was nice to meet you Geo, I have to wait from the others with. Have a nice day young man!" He says to me.
The bus arrives, and I get in it. The bus then takes off, as I watch. Luna grinning at me for some reason. Great, she is up to something again.
I look into the bus, and nearly have a mixture of a panic attack, and a near rage induced red vision. For a second, I though I saw HER hair, but it was just a trick of the light. If it was HER, well it wouldn't end well. For me or her, either or.
Arriving at Amaken, the first thing I notice is the building itself. It's design reminds me of a museum, but less impressive.
I guess that's not the point though. I walk up to the entrance, and see Aaron again.
"Ah Geo! It's nice to see you came!" Not like I had much choice, fat ass. "Since your here, I bet you want to know more about why AMAKEN was founded, right?"
"Let me guess, to look for my father?" Sarcasm is fun sometimes, but only if the person gets it. Apparently, I hit the nail on the head by accident.
"You are correct Geo! Everything here, the tower," I look up to see a tall tower sitting in the middle of the area, "the satellite recicerse," I see tiny satellite dishes on the ground, "are all a way to send a signal to your dad to help him find his way home!"
Huh, I honestly didn't expect that. "Okay." I simply have nothing to say to him, he threw me though a loop with that. I decide to start exploring the premises, which as expected, is all space themed.
Telescopes, satellite dishes, the works. Walking up the staircase, I see a statue in the shape of a star on the lawn.
"How... Generic."
"Ah there you are Geo!"
Oh for fucks sake. "What do you want now Luna?"
"Nothing much, just passing by with our class."
"Your class, you mean. I am not a part of it."
"Yet."
"Oh fuck off Luna. I don't want to talk to you." I storm off into the building, and I catch a glimpse of some bird like being, and something tells me that it might be Cygnus, or I might be going insane. Either or.
Well, this was a pain to get done.I hope you guys enjoy this chapter, and I hope that this was at least good for the story.
The dream sequence is important, but for later, but it does give more hints at who it was that damaged Geo.
I introduced Mitch earlier than in canon, but I felt it worked better than what they did in canon, when it comes to AMAKEN and Luna.
Now a fun fact, when I returned to Amaken in Megaman Starforce, I remembered it looking vastly different, the outside at least. Maybe it's the Mandela effect in this case, or shoddy memory from like, 10-12 years ago.Regardless, I hope you enjoyed!
