Later that day, Kate went in the interrogation office, where she was met by her father, Barry, Hoskins, Greg and Hamada, who were standing in front of a handcuffed Marcus Kingman. Wanting to know in deeper details what she could do to help him out of the mess Marcus had put himself into, Kate walked to the front of the table before seating down. Just then, a park ranger gave the gifted teenager a folder. Kate quickly looked inside and smirked before motioning the guard, Hoskins, Barry, Greg, Hamada and Owen to leave them. All of them obliged as Kate began the interrogation.
"Well, looks like you were going to spy upon us to catch my cousin for Renaldo Morty. And I now know why... Marcus" Kate said while tossing a folder.
Marcus took the folder and opened it. He felt shock at seeing the surveillance pictures of Renard injecting some sort of toxic substance in his daughter's IV pocket. Marcus also saw the images of the guy watching over his shoulder to make sure he wasn't looked at before and after doing his nasty business. Marcus took another set of surveillance photos, on which he could see Renard walking through the safety corridor, let out a suppressed Walther PPK pistol and shoot a security agent dead before taking a female paramedic working at the hospital hostage and knocking her out after walking through the garage unharmed. On another picture, Marcus saw the young woman, who was now immobilized with zip ties and had her mouth taped shut, stuffed in Renard's car before Renard left the area and closed the trunk after parking it in some dark place minutes before the cops' arrival.
"Fucker... Where did you get this?" Marcus muttered in shock.
"The FBI and CIA gave us these pictures. There's no word to describe what Renaldo Morty's men are willing to do. So here's the deal: you help us and Interpol catch Morty dead or alive, and we make you and your daughter disappear after saving her. If you agree, you will be under the responsability of WitSec. If you refuse, we will hand you to the US Military and you will rot in Guantanamo after trial at the Hague." Kate suggested.
Marcus, now realizing the full extent of his actions, thought about what if he told everything to his daughter, who could brand him a criminal or a terrorist. Marcus also realized the public would brand him a terrorist as he would rot in Guantanamo Military Prison in Cuba. Sensing a trap, Marcus took a chance to ask a question.
"Are you trying to trap me?"
"Nope. The FBI, the CIA and Interpol gave their word." Kate truthfully replied.
Knowing Kate was sincere, Marcus nodded before saying, "I agree with the deal. But within the condition the FBI and CIA erase me and my daughter Quinn."
Kate smirked before standing up and walking out of the office. Outside the office, Kate met her father, Hoskins, Hamada, Barry and Greg. She nodded them, letting them know the interrogation was successful. As the adults began to brainstorm about what to do next, Kate had an idea. She quickly turned around and began telling some instructions.
"Hamada, call the US Marines. Tell them to send their best sniper squad. Dad, call Camp Cretaceous and tell them to take Valentina for some time. Hoskins, call your guys, we'll need them. Barry, Greg, call the Australian Defence Force and the Interpol. We'll need them, too."
Hamada then took his phone and called an old contact of his in the US Marines before asking him to send the best snipers he had as Owen called Camp Cretaceous and told them to take Valentina for some time, going as far as tell them about Renaldo Morty. Barry and Greg then called Interpol and the Australian military for more help. Kate then went outside before walking to the armory. Once she arrived at the armory by riding her bike, she met Dan, Alexandra and Sofia already there alongside Annie, Dana, Anita and Kelsi.
"So, what will we do?" Sofia asked.
"First things first. First, take automatic weapons, we'll need them, since Renaldo Morty has a whole private army. And we gotta bet these fuckers have automatic guns. Second, take AP bullets alongside regular bullets. These guys could have body armor, too." Kate politely instructed.
With that, everyone took an assault rifle from the armory and loaded it up. Dan, Alexandra and Sofia took a kitted-out M4A1 carbine each while Dana, Kelsi and Anita each took a Heckler & Koch MP5A5 submachine gun. Kate had her shotgun and her Glock while Annie took a M16A2 rifle. Kate then rode her bike back home, where she went to the armory and loaded up her M4A1 carbine after unloading her Benelli M3 Super 90. The teenager then rode to the control room, where she was met by Zia, Claire, Franklin, Lowery and Vivian, who were playing with Valentina while the little girl was getting dried.
"Don't you have instructions to pass?" Kate scolded.
"I called Camp Cretaceous." Claire confessed. "I already told them for Valentina. She's due to go there tomorrow."
Kate nodded while still having doubts about Claire's trustworthiness. The teenager then left the control room with her rifle in hands, knowing she still had some work to do before going to bed.
Meanwhile, at sea, there was a ship. On this ship was a mysterious teenager, named Rick Lopez. He had actually been kidnapped, since he was an orphan before being experimented upon by Renaldo Morty. Suddenly, one of Morty's henchmen came in the building where he was locked in. Rick glared at him with dead eyes, planning to use this guard's equipment to escape.
"Okay, freek. Time for lunch." the guard said.
But Rick didn't move, causing the guard to approach him. As the henchman was about to kick him, Rick grabbed the guard, slit his throat and took the keys, freeing himself from his chains. Rick then took the henchman's SIG-552 carbine, ammunition and grenades. Rick then went in the corridor, where he shot two other henchmen dead. As some more henchmen came through the stairs, Rick took a grenade, prepared it and tossed it at these two henchmen. The explosion caused them to die. Rick then made his way to the upper deck, killing more henchmen in the way before tossin a grenade near a crate containing FIM-43 missiles and jumping into the water. As Rick landed in the water, the grenade went off and destroyed the crate, which happened to be close to crates filled with Semtex bombs. These bombs also exploded, sinking the ship. Rick then swam towards Isla Nublar.
At the northeastern beach of Nublar, Kate was hidden in the bushes with her carbine shouldered, when she spotted someone swimming to the island through her scope. Judging it to be better if she didn't take the shot, Kate carefully walked to the beach with her M4A1 carbine shouldered before seeing the mysterious boy, who stood up, revealing red eyes with yellow outlines. Kate then switched the safety of her rifle off to defend herself if needed.
"Don't harm me. I came here as a friend." the guy said.
"Who the fuck are you? And where you from?" Kate replied still clutching her rifle.
"Name's Rick Lopez. And I escaped from Renaldo Morty's ship. I got some infos to tell you." Rick said as he saw Owen, Hoskins, Barry, Greg and Hamada coming alongside Hoskins' men from Kate's left.
Rick also saw several US Marines, led by a 1st Lieutenant he recognized as Tim Murphy, coming at him from his left. Rick then spotted Annie, Dana, Kelsi and Anita coming from behind Kate. Knowing he had to enjoy his newly-gained freedom as much as possible, the escapee decided to reveal everything he knew about Renaldo Morty.
"I know Renaldo Morty intends to use Isla Sorna as a base to launch his nasty attacks on the world. I also know his lead enforcer and spy, Andrej Renard, hacked into your systems to access Dr. Wu's information about the Indominus Rex. He created two clones he named Spinosaurus Rex." Rick confessed.
Dr. Wu, who had just arrived alongside Interpol agent Lex Murphy and some of her colleagues, heard Rick's confession and was shocked that a man as vile as Renaldo Morty would plan to use hybrid dinosaurs as weapons. Wu did create hybrids, but never wanted them to be used as weapons. Lex was also shocked, since she now understood Morty was one way ahead her and her team. Everyone now knew they couldn't wait the Australian soldiers' arrival, which was due the next morning.
Deciding to act quickly, they ran to the helicopters, which had landed in a plain. These helicopters were Ingen Security Division AW-109s and US Marine Corps MV-22Bs. Kate, Tim and his men boarded the first Osprey while Owen, Hoskins and Barry boarded one of the AW-109s. Lex and her team boarded the second MV-22B alongside Dana, Kelsi, Anita and Annie while Wu remained on the island alongside Rick as both of them walked to Marcus Kingman's holding cell.
In the helicopters, everyone was tense as they knew it was them or the henchmen who would die first. Knowing what was at stake everyone inside focused on their next goal: eliminate Renaldo Morty and the threat he represents for the world.
