In Ninjago City, two garbage trucks drive along the street before stopping as Maggie, with her hood on, but the lower part lowered to show her mouth, gets out to see some Sons of Garmadon members blocking a corner. She soon gets out a walkie-talkie. "Silver Ninja, you in position?" She asked.
Further ahead, Blake, with his hood on and lower part lowered to show his mouth, sees the members while Karlof and Spider were close by, dumping some wood and gas into some oil drums. "Ready when you are, Tan Ninja." He replied into his walkie-talkie. "Are you sure you should be in Lloyd's infiltration group instead of mine?"
"Trust me, knowing Geoff is alive has motivated me to do this." Maggie spoke through the walkie-talkie. "And we will rescue him one day. Now, go ahead with the diversion."
Blake turns to Karlof and Spider as they turn to him, and Blake raised the lower part of his hood over his mouth. "Drums full of wood and gas." Karlof said.
"Okay, let's get moving." Blake replied as they immediately climb up a nearby fire escape before bringing the ladder up, come up to the top of the fire escape. Blake soon gets out a lighter, ignites it, and uses his Wind power to slowly lower it while keeping the flame lit until it reaches the drums, and drops it into one, lighting it up. "Spider, now." Spider soon held out one of his hands, firing a shot of Web at the pallet underneath the oil drums before pulling it back, knocking down all the drums, which soon ignites the gas, creating a giant torrent of fire before Blake, Karlof and Spider take off.
The patrol sees the fire, and immediately head over to it, passing by the garbage trucks, that soon drive out and turn right, coming across Borg Tower before Lloyd, Maggie, Skylor, Griffin, Neuro, Shade and Patrice get out, heading toward a building close by, and Lloyd peeks around the corner to see Killow, Barry and Luke at the entrance before looking up. "Does anyone wanna go over the plan again?" Lloyd asked.
"I'm good." Shade replied. "But I still think we could use more help, seeing that the Broadcast Station is in Borg's Tower, right under Garmadon's feet."
"All the more reason to keep our footprints small." Maggie said.
Paleman soon appears between Griffin and Shade. "Do you know what you're going to say?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah, sure." Lloyd replied, lying.
"He doesn't have a clue." Neuro picks up the lie.
"That's not our problem." Skylor replied. "We just have to get him up there." She points to the upper floors of the tower as Powder soon appeared in front of them.
"It's clear." He said while Lloyd and Maggie put their hoods on. "Let's move." Shade heads over to a nearby bush before waving his hand out for them to move. Lloyd and Maggie head for a nearby car to peek around its corner before Lloyd waves a hand, and they start moving.
Neuro, Shade, Powder and Patrice hide behind a brunt red car and dumpster that started to shake as the lid started to open, causing Powder and Patrice to get out a Walther P99 and SIG-Sauer P938 respectively before Paleman appears, causing the lid to open, revealing the mailman, who was scared by his sudden appearance, gets out, and runs off. "I get the feeling he kinda likes to run into danger." Patrice said as Powder nods. The mailman runs into the golem, falling back, but gets back up, and keeps on running.
Lloyd, Maggie, Skylor, Paleman, Griffin, Neuro, Shade, Powder and Patrice prepare to resume moving, until they hear the sound of a motorbike. "Shit!" Lloyd muttered before pointing towards some bushes, and they jump to hide in them. They watch the motorbike pass by before Lloyd noticed the biker on it. "That looks like the same guy that gave us the letter. He's wearing the same jacket, and I think I saw that on someone before."
The biker stops by a row of bikes before shutting it off, moves the kickstand down, and takes off his helmet, revealing to be Scars. "It's Scars." Maggie said.
"Why would he tell us about Geoff?"
"We can ask him when we grab him one day." Neuro said, watching him rush up the stairs. "But not today."
At the top of Borg Tower, Oni looks on before sighing. "You summoned me, Emperor?" Harumi asked as she came up to him, and he turns his head to her.
"The city is too quiet." He replied before looking down at the streets below. "I feel the presence of my son."
"He would be foolish to show his face."
This got Oni angered as he turned to her. "Do I look like a fool?"
"I will handle security of the tower myself." She soon bowed. "I will not fail you." She soon walked away, walking downstairs to enter an elevator, and presses a button.
In a room on one of the upper floors, Ultra Violet was facing the camera. "Clock is still ticking, and the mailman hasn't been delivered." She said, moving around on the chair. "That means it's bonus time!" She jumps and spins on the chair as she says it before laughing and jumps about like an excited kid.
At the entrance, Barry and Luke were listening to Killow, who was telling a story. "And then he said, 'It wasn't me.'" He said before they all laugh before Harumi comes up to them, holding her Desert Eagle tightly.
"Keep your eyes peeled." She said, causing them to turn to her. "The Emperor senses something."
"Senses?"
"Is that like some new power he suddenly got?" Barry sarcastically asked.
"What do I know?" Harumi asked. "Just don't make me look bad." She soon walks away as Barry scratched the back of his head with his SP-21 Barak before they all look at each other, and Killow shrugs.
Further away from the entrance, Lloyd had his pistol held by his side before he turned to the others while lowering the bottom part of his hood, and sees Neuro with his hands on his head. "What are you thinking, Neuro?" Lloyd asked.
"I'm thinking what they are thinking." He replied. He soon manages to get into Killow's mind. "Does anyone like karaoke?"
"You know what would be awesome right now?" Killow asked Barry and Luke. "Karaoke."
"Yeah, great idea." Luke replied. "We was just thinking the same thing."
They soon walk away. "#We're off to sing at Laughy's#" They all sang as they walk. "#A-diddly-doo-doo#"
"Weak minded fool." Maggie said while Lloyd smiles at Neuro before raising the lower part of his hood to cover his mouth, and they peek around the corner before taking off. They immediately start climbing up the side of it while Griffin and Patrice ran up it at fast speed and Paleman turns invisible.
In a hallway, Harumi walks along, failing to notice the group.
Outside, Lloyd, Maggie, Skylor, Neuro and Shade come across a scaffold where Griffin and Patrice were waiting, get on it, and Lloyd and Maggie start pulling the wires to bring the scaffold up.
By an elevator, Harumi watches it open before noticing Scars was inside it, who immediately became surprised. "Oh, Quiet One." He said, nervously. "Uh, g'day."
"What the hell are you doing here?" She asked. "I thought you told Ultra Violet you'd be watching the Yellow Ninja."
"I had a few things to do." Harumi enters the elevator. "Besides, the door is barricaded." Paleman becomes visible before following her in, and becomes invisible again as the door closes.
Outside, Lloyd and Maggie keep raising the scaffold at the same time the elevator comes up, and they see it before Lloyd and Maggie stop and they all look down to it.
In the elevator, it shakes a bit as Harumi and Scars look up, curious about the sudden vibration before the elevator passes by the now empty scaffold. "What was that?" Harumi simply shrugged.
The elevator stops on an upper floor as the door opens, and Harumi and Scars get out. Paleman soon became visible, peeks outside the elevator, and taps the side of it. The emergency hatch opens up, revealing Lloyd, Maggie, Skylor, Griffin, Neuro, Shade and Patrice. "This should be the 81st floor." He told them as the elevator door closes. "Television studio right above us."
"Good." Lloyd replied as he gets into the elevator. "This way." They all soon get in as Lloyd pressed the '82' button, and the elevator goes up.
On the 82nd floor, the elevator opens and they came out before the door closes, realising it would go down at any moment, and start moving as the elevator goes down. Once they came around a corner, heavy breathing was heard, causing them to stop and see Oni's shadow coming, causing Lloyd to gasp before they quickly turn around, head back for the elevator, and Neuro presses the down button. "Come on." He whispered. "Come on." Oni walks along the hallway ahead of them as Neuro keeps pressing the button, and Lloyd, Powder and Patrice aim their guns at the hallway, getting ready for Oni. "Come on."
Maggie soon gets an idea and takes off her hood while turning to Skylor and Patrice. "You can absorb powers while Patrice can mimic them for a brief amount of time, but have you two combined them?" She asked Skylor while whispering.
"I don't know." She replied, whispering.
"We never tried." Patrice whispered.
"Then try." Lloyd replied while whispering and removing his hood. Skylor come between Shade and Paleman while Patrice, as he hid his gun, came up behind them as the others crouch down, and touch them both before taking in deep breaths.
When Oni turned to the corner, he finds what appeared to be nothing, but still moved, looking around suspiciously. The combined powers had made an invisibility shield to not be seen and blend in with the shadows. Oni soon came up to it. "Something's not right." He said to himself before moving closer. "I feel..."
The elevator soon opened, and Harumi and Scars come out. "My Emperor, is everything okay?" Harumi asked.
"He's close. Must be on the next floor. Hurry." They immediately head into the elevator before it closes and goes up. "I thought you were watching Geoff."
"Stuff to do." Scars said before noticing Maggie's left hand is exposed, but ignores it. "Besides, the door's barricaded."
Once they had gone, the shield soon became visible and fades away before Skylor and Patrice fell down, sighing from using up their strength. "You learn something every day." Skylor said as Lloyd helps her up while Maggie and Powder help Patrice up.
"We're almost there." Lloyd replied. "Come on." They soon take off.
In the broadcasting room, Ultra Violet was facing the camera. "So what?" She asked. "You help us catch everyone else, but no one knows where the mailman is?" She grabs a nearby photo of him. "He's just a postal worker, why have we not caught him, people?" The door soon opened as a few gunshots went on, one taking down the cameraman.
At an apartment, a family of three watch their TV turn to static before it changed to a photo of Ultra Violet as well as a message saying 'Please Standby'. The little girl, who was holding a Green Ninja doll, along with her parents, looked at the TV in confusion.
In the broadcasting room, Powder and Patrice aim their guns at some of the members, who get up, holding their hands up as the others came in with Lloyd aiming his pistol at Ultra Violet. Maggie soon grabbed hold of a member before they could hit a nearby button, grabs her Jericho 941, and aims it at her neck. "Nice try." She said.
"This is a closed set!"
"Sorry, UV." Lloyd said, taking off his hood. "But your show has just been cancelled."
Ultra Violet screams as she pulls out her pistol, but Paleman soon appeared behind her, and grabs her. "Uh, uh, uh." He said before Lloyd then kicked it out of her hand.
While Maggie, Griffin, Powder and Shade tie them up, the rest were getting ready to set up the camera for Lloyd to make his speech as Patrice grabs a nearby banner, and turns to Skylor. "Give me the spray can." He said.
Skylor tosses it to him, and he catches it before shaking it, moves it to the banner, and sprays a green lightning bolt over it for The Green Light's symbol, followed by its initials. "No one told you to vandalise our banners, you little bastard!" Ultra Violet yelled before Patrice soon turned the can to her, and sprays some paint at her face, some getting in her eyes, causing her to scream.
"Shut the **** up."
They soon finish setting up as Maggie turned Lloyd. "Alright, Lloyd." She said as Shade aims the camera at him while Neuro held the microphone. "Once we go live, it'll only be a matter of time before they know we're here. Are you ready?" Lloyd nods while Patrice and Skylor put the tagged banner in front of him as Patrice got out the voice alternator. "Then we're live in..." She holds out a hand and starts counting down. "...5, 4, 3, 2..." She then pressed a button as the screens change to the tagged banner in front of Lloyd, and the red light comes on.
In the apartment, the family were confused by the sudden appearance of The Green Light's insignia. "We interrupt this program to bring you a special message from our new leader of The Green Light." Patrice's altered voice was heard on the TV before he and Skylor drop the banner, showing Lloyd, causing the family to gasp.
"Hello, Ninjago." Lloyd said on the TV. "It's me, Lloyd Garmadon, the Green Ninja."
"You said he was gone." The little girl said to her mother. "Look, the Green Ninja!"
Out on the streets, Ashton, who now had long hair done up in a ponytail, looked at a set of TVs with other people. "He's alive." He said, completely surprised. "I hope he makes my brother pay for betraying my trust."
In the apartment, the family watches as Lloyd starts his speech. "Lord Garmadon wants you to be afraid, but I need you to be brave." He said.
In one of the hallways, Harumi and Scars notice a nearby TV showing Lloyd. "With the help of Princess Harumi, Lord Oni Garmadon struck a major blow against Ninjago City." This got Harumi to scream, kick the TV and runs over to a nearby computer, turned to Scars, who nods and rushes for the studio while she immediately tapping the keys.
In Laughy's, Barry, Luke and some members watch Killow sing karaoke. "#Yeah!#" He sang.
"But we're ready to strike back." They all look at a nearby TV to see Lloyd on it. This got Killow and the members to quickly take off.
On a boat, a fisherman watches his TV. "As you know, there is a resistance. And we may be small..."
In the hallway, Harumi furiously taps on the keyboard.
In the broadcasting room, one of the monitors changes to Lloyd's defeat at Kryptarium. "...but we are power-" He soon notices it and frowns. "-p-powerful." He soon looked down.
Out on the streets, the people see his frowning face.
On the boat, the fisherman grabs hold of his TV. "Come on, Lloyd, get it together." He said.
In the broadcasting room, Maggie, Skylor, Paleman, Griffin, Neuro, Shade, Powder and Patrice wonder why their leader stopped talking, and was frowning. Maggie soon turned to the monitors, and gasped. She tries to turn it off, but gets no response. "Come on." She whispered as banging was soon heard, and they turn to the door.
Outside the room, Harumi and some members watch Killow was trying to ram the door in while Scars watched Lloyd's speech from a nearby TV. "Hurry." Harumi said. "Hurry!"
In the broadcasting room, as Maggie keeps trying to turn it off, Patrice quickly heads over to it, and slams the butt of his gun at it, destroying it. Lloyd sees it before looking at the floor to see photos of Geoff, Cornelius, Tania, Ronin, Noble, Simon, Tommy, Navis and the mailman. Everyone, except for the mailman were crossed out to confirm their capture. He soon looked back at the camera. "I may not have Elemental Power, but I call upon the power of the people." He said.
In the apartment, the family watches. "When we get knocked down, we rise up. Stronger than before."
In the office, Geoff was still in the chair and looking down. "A fellow Ninja once told me this, 'Most endings only lead to new beginnings'."
Geoff turned to the sound of a nearby TV. "That I did." Geoff said as he smiled.
"This is our ****ing city."
Out on the street, the civilians look at the big TV. "He thinks he can bully us with stone giants. Well this isn't the first time our city has faced ruin. Buildings fall, but we rise!" The crowd soon cheers.
At his throne, Oni watches the speech. "And to you, Father, I say this: Fighting me may make you feel powerful, but you're about to see what real power is." This got Oni angered.
At The Green Light's base, all the members that stayed behind, including Blake, Karlof and Spider who returned, watch the speech on the TV as Lloyd soon raised his left arm to show the tattoo of The Green Light on his wrist. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!"
"He has found his voice." Mistaké said to Misako.
In the hallway just outside the broadcasting room, Killow roars as he soon rammed the door down, and they enter, only to find it empty with Ultra Violet and the crew members still tied up. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!" They turn to see the remaining two monitors showing a repeating loop of Lloyd raising his left arm to show the tattoo of The Green Light on his wrist before speaking the motto. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!" They soon turn to the window which had a broken hole in it and look back at the looping message.
Harumi and Killow head over to the broken window, and look out it. "They got away?" Killow asked.
Harumi soon notices something. "Not for long." She replied, seeing the garbage trucks leave. "It's time to take the trash out." She immediately left the room while Scars turned to the monitors.
"Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!" Lloyd's looping message kept playing. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!"
