Harry Potter and the SCP Foundation

Chapter 6 - Puzzles Awakening

He had breached the veil of madness, and beheld only oblivion.

"Harryeeeeeeee..." The voice screamed.

Fire, as far the eye can see spread out like molten rivers under his feet.

"Harryeeeeeeee..." The voice screamed.

Stars blinking out of sky, no longer to be seen ever agian.

"Harryeeeeeeee..." The woman voice screamed.

Two giant, one of metal and another of flesh locked in conflict, destroying all that gets in their way, dead with each step they took.

"Daaaaaaaad..." Screamed the three children, huddled in fear at the sight of their mothers demise by the immortal reptile who consumed and destroyed with untold hatred and glee.

Everywhere, there be legion of horrors untold; trapped in the wholesale slaughter brought on by realities collapse into chaos as time loses itself to the void.

"NOOOOOOOOO..." Screamed Harry Potter, as he stared into the horror from the edge and for the longest time, could not do a thing to rid himself of the feeling... the feeling of worthlessness.

And from atop his throne, shrouded in the evil, scarlet his colour and hatred his canvass; he laughed down at everything.

"DO IT HARRY! DO IT... DO IT, DOITDOITDODOITDOIT..." The chant continued all around him while everything burned, war prevailed and death consumed.

Harry looked up in absolution towards it all and raised his hand, wand at the ready and said the word.

"SCP-6934, SURRENDER NOW OR WE'LL OPEN FIRE!"

Harry awoke from it all and the laughter receded.

As he came to Harry for the life of him had no idea what was going on.

The last thing he remembered was talking to the two scientists in a very enlightening conversation about himself only for things to go blank.

His memories were hazy for some reason. 'What happened?'

He was no longer tied down in the chair he noticed straight off, a chair which was now utterly ruined as if something completely dismantled it to pieces. The room was also no better off.

The walls were cracked, lighting was malfunctioning and blood caked the surfaces... blood?

Harry eyes widened at the sight before him. 'What the hell?'

Where did all this blood come from? On closer inspection it was not just blood he noticed but also bones, muscle and organs, all splattered around him like paint on a canvas. He could not for the life of understand where this came from and who it belonged to.

"SCP-6934" Shouted a voice. "IF YOU DON'T COMPLY WE WILL FIRE."

Harry took notice of the armed guards, their guns all cocked and loaded to let lose at a moment's notice. If not for the confusion he was suffering, he would have responded instantly with appropriate tactics but then he remembered that he was being detained by a organization called the

SCP Foundation; who made it their job to be prepared against people like him.

So he did the only thing he could do... something he had planned for since before he was brought into this room for the interview just in case things went south very quickly.

He vanished in front of the security guards eyes with a pop which sent them into a panic.

"SCP-6934 HAS BROKEN FREE AND IS NOW LOOSE." One of the guards screamed into his radio, alerting all his gun toting comrades. "He loose in the facility, I repeat..." He continued as everyone in spread out to search every corridor and room for the runaway wizard.

"We have a lock on him." Another guard said. "The tracker has him, he isn't far."

Everyone scrambled to capture the lost SCP.

Harry fell to his knees the moment he came out of his apparition. Being sick was a natural reaction to it but that was not why he was puking his guts out.

He could still smell the blood and it was a sensation one never get used to whether it be his own or another's.

But his plan worked and he was exactly where he wanted to be.

The room was just as he remember it. Spacious, one not so comfortable bed, a single door that only opens from one side, and of course let's not forget the big ass mirror. Everything about the room he woke up in after the incident with the statue was the same as he remembered it.

"CONTAINMENT BREACH... TO ALL ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL; SCP-6934 HAS BROKEN CONTAINMENT... I REPEAT..."

Harry sighed but was nowhere near defeated. Time was against him but he had many tricks up his sleeve and one of them was placed within this very room.

Walking towards the mirror Harry felt around the edges, just below it where his fingers gracifully touched the wall. He outlined up the edge as if looking for something. He did this as he circled the room until he reached the point from which he started.

He had completed what he needed to do and just in time. From the other side of the door he could hear voices and bodies running around, outside in what he could only guess to be another corridor.

"HE'S INSIDE THE ROOM, WE'RE BREACHING IN TEN."

Time was counting and Harry waited for the right moment to implement his plan. His hand was still touching the same spot as the door blew open.

"SCP-6934 GET DOWN NOW OR WE'LL FIRE."

Harry ignored the shouting guard and in a quick motion before the guard could give the order to fire he slammed his hand under the mirrors edge.

What happened was so quick that guards were taken completely by surprise as from where Harry's hand slammed, letters made of light spread from the right and left of his hand, circling the room before connecting forming a huge patterned circlet. They were confused to say the least.

Harry smiled mischievously which was his cue. "I am sorry about this." And closed his eyes.

No one would have expected the sudden pulling sensation, or the lack of cohesion as the ground vanished along with the walls, roof, bed and all other things attached or within the room. It was like a vacuum cleaner had been turned on sucking everything away but on a larger scale and what was left was a caverness hole from where once stood an observation room.

Harry was fine, and so were the guards who found themselves disorientated and unable to move due to them all being piled on each other in compromising positions.

This was all Harry needed to make like a tree and leaf and so he ran towards one of the now exposed corridors never to look back at his handy work.

The guards just groaned... and swore vengeance.

Ulgrin was pissed.

No pissed would be an understatement, he was beyond that now. When he got the call that SCP-6913 had breached containment he just knew that he would be the one to be called to solve it.

Reports were sporadic but what can be ascertained was that after killing numerous security personnel, SCP-6934 vanished out of the room in what could be described as being sucked into a vortex. Teleportation was the first thought that came to mind from the intelligence gathering groups and that was not the half of it.

Reports soon came in about the SCP being found thanks to the tracker that was implanted into it soon after it was tranquilized earlier on. Every safeguard was put in place to bring it down, nothing short of lethal force but there were no guarantees due to what was soon reported during the next encounter.

When SCP-6934 was surrounded, found within the observation centre what the security forces walked into could only be described as a trap. What really shook their resolve was the utter destruction caused by this one act of what can only be described as reality defying force; more specifically magic. That was when Ulgrin knew that they were moving with little to no information on this situation. When a whole room gets reduced to a crater because of a magic user on the loose, that is when you know that bigger guns are required.

"Agent Ulgrin sir, we have him on internal radar, he's moving through G-Wing and is heading to... F-Wing... how the hell did end up there?" Spoke one of the site surveillance crew. Agent Ulgrin gave no sign that he heard them as they bombarded him with data on the movements of SCP-6913.

At this point he knew he was fighting against a dangerous unknown. He had many options available to him on how to deal with this and most of them were aimed at arresting and in some cases really-fucking-hurting SCP's to the point that they are more pliable. But this was not one of those kind of situations which is why the message he had received from command explained the best course of action against what he had been told is wizard. A magic user was not something to scoff at that much he knew which is why he had to concur with the plan set before him, even if he did think it was in his opinion overkill, but it was all out of his hands, magic was a whole different kind of monster to deal with and in these kind of situations, it must be fought by another kind of monster.

Agent Ulgrin looked towards his crew and got their attention. "Keep track of SCP-6934. Keep me updated on any changes in its behaviour, I want to know the moment it enters somewhere it should not be able to." He spoke with such force that everyone knew not to question him.

"Sir, what do we do if he enters into an area with one or more the more... dangerous SCP's?" The question came out in a hushed tone from the subordinate one could tell he was trying not worry his other colleagues. "If he somehow releases one of them..." He almost stuttered.

"If that happens we'll deal with it." Ulgrin turned away and headed to one of the many terminals in central command. He typed something on the keyboard before looking back at his crew. "Samsara is on the move."

The moment he spoke those words all noise dropped to naught as everyone, everyone stopped what they were doing as if caught in the net of their own fear and awe.

'Overkill indeed.' Ulgrin thought to himself as he waited for the eventual shit storm that he had feeling was just around the corner.

Doctor Rallim and his colleague Annette were not in the best of shape. The explosion they suffered through and barely got away from was nothing short of miraculous and yet all they could really think about was what caused it.

When they came to the room they escaped from was nothing but a scene from a horror movie.

'Harry did all this... with one word... astonishing.' Rallim thought as he stared at the destruction before his feet.

The Foundation would put all the blame on Harry because he was the one who did the act and not only destroyed a perfectly good room but dozens of men by reducing them to blood and guts. The walls which once shined white now oozed red, and the smell was still lingering even though they were far away from the epicentre now.

"Rallim, what happened?" Annette asked, which did nothing to grab Rallim's attention until he noticed how frightened she appeared, or was it excitement? "That... it... it was..."

"Astonishing!" Rallim spoke, his tone of voice betraying no feelings or emotion, just simple fact. "I don't know why Annette but I think we have just found another piece to the puzzle."

Annette looked confusedly toward her co-worker. "Puzzle?"

Rallim walked down the relatively well maintained hallway towards an approaching group of security personnel. "The puzzle of the Scarlet King."

Annette just stared at her fellow scientists back and as he walked away from her far enough she thought, that's when the gleeful smile on her face appeared; her appearance changing almost to whole new person altogether from the shy girl she was prior. Her smile was manic almost, like zealot.

"Well what do you know, fate does favour those who wait." She mysteriously said before running to follow her superior. "Bless Grand Karcist Ion, Bless The Demiurge." She prayed into the sky.

Someone... something was listening in the dark.

Elsewhere in the facility, something else awoke with interest as its first thoughts. As its eyes roamed the darkened trenches of its prison it knew that it was true. The feelings it was having, the sense it was picking up, it knew that it was not being deceived due to its isolation.

"Close... so close... that smell... I know that smell..." The creature growled, then suddenly its head rose high. "I CAN SMELL YOU WIZARD!"

The roar echoes and vibrated with thunderous anger and joy if one would believe it. It was enough to gain the attention of the Foundation personel made to keep watch of it, and they were both intrigued and frightened enough put a call forward to their superiors.

"Call Doctor Millar, its urgent." Spoke the guard. "SCP-682 has become active."

And before the guard knew what was happening, the walls surrounding him collapsed.
