Chapter 7
Allison was in her room with Lydia sitting on the bed as they were going through her closet looking for clothes for her double date tonight. Allison took out an outfit and putting it up to herself she looked to Lydia who scoffed before teller her no. Allison went back into the closet and found another and turning to Lydia again got another head shake.
"Okay let's see what we are working with here." Lydia said coming over to the closet.
Moving from one hanger to the next, then to the next she shook her head on after the other until she finally found something. Smiling she looked to Allison and taking out a black shirt with sequins going from the chest down, but it was cut near the bellybutton.
"Hmmm… I think this would look good better than most of the other fashion disaster choices in the closet." Lydia said.
Allison walked over to her then taking it from her she held it up to herself looking in the mirror, Lydia wasn't wrong it would definitely make her look hot. As she focused on that she didn't hear the door until it was to late, looking over she saw her dad who was mindlessly walking into her room while he put on his jacket.
"Dad, Hello." She said shocked he hadn't knocked first.
"That's right, I'm sorry I completely forgot to knock." He said still seeming a lit out of it, Lydia as he came in lay on the bed.
"Hello Mr. Argent." Lydia said chipperly.
"Dad did you need something?" Allison said a little annoyed
"I wanted to tell you; you need to stay in tonight." Mr. Argent said.
"What, I'm supposed to got out tonight though with my friends." Allison said motioning toward Lydia on the bed.
"Not with some animal randomly attacking people." He told his daughter.
"But… Dad... Dad…" Allison stammered before he interrupted her.
"Its out of my hands there is a curfew tonight and no one is supposed to be out passed 9:30pm." Mr. Argent said seriously.
Allison looked at her dad as she threw the shirt onto her bed irritated, she wouldn't be able to see Scott. She was excited for her date with him especially after the kiss they shared both the night before and today.
"No more arguing." Mr. Argent said then turned around walking out of her room.
Allison sighed as he left, and Lydia stood up eyeing were her dad was then looking to Allison raised an eyebrow. Allison sighed again.
"Someone is daddy's little girl." Lydia said with snark.
"Only sometime but not tonight." Allison said.
Before Lydia could say anything, she saw Allison go out her window on to her rood, as she did, she heard the noise of her jumping. The girl had to be a little crazy, but she liked it and looking out the window she starred down to Allison.
"You coming." Allison questioned as she landed with a roll and standing back up.
"I think I'll take the stairs." Lydia said smiling at the girl.
-
Scott and Allison stood next to one another looking at bowling balls as she was trying to pick the right weighted ball. The bowling alley her was a little older and none of the balls had weights on them, Scott seeing her doing that did the same trying to make it look like he knew what he was doing.
"Do you prefer the heavier or light balls?" Scott asked her as he watched her pick up one of the blue balls.
"I prefer a medium weight probably 8 to 10 pounds. How about you?" She told him finding the right ball she grabbed it.
"No idea but probably something on the lighter side he said grabbing a ball. You really look like you know what you're doing." Scott said smiling at her nervously.
"Used to bowl with my dad. When was the last time you bowled?" Allison asked
"At a birthday party… when I was eight." Scott said and as she walked away, he said the second part.
Lydia and Jackson were already starting their turn as Scott and Allison sat down. Jackson came up behind her as she was going to bowl and taking her hand, he tried to guide her as she threw the ball. Though Scott didn't know a thing about bowling he thought she had perfect form even before Jackson came up behind her from what he had seen on TV and around them. Lydia and Jackson id this twice, the first time the ball went straight to the gutter and the second she hit 4 pins.
"I'm so bad at this." Lydia said as she went to go sit.
Allison was next and grabbing the light purple ball she had picked she looked at the pin and took her roll. Scott watched her eagerly as she bowled, she shot her butt out when she rolled the ball down the alley giving him a perfect view. The ball went straight down the middle and hitting the middle pin it struck them all down for a strike. She then went to go sit down.
"Good job." Scott said nervously as he knew his turn was coming up next.
Jackson was next and in true Jackson fashion with some flare he threw his ball down the alley and it hit a strike going straight down the middle. Lydia lightly cheered for him saying something along the line of he brought his A game to Allison and Scott.
"You're up MCCALL." Jackson said emphasizing his last name as if he didn't expect much.
"You got this Scott." Allison said lightly stroking his hand before he got up.
Scott grabbed the ball he took from before and turning he heard them before they even came in Cora and Malia. 'Great just what I need' Scott thought. Scott turned towards the alley and as he went to send his bowl down the lane, he heard them giggling and then heard Malia shout something, distracted his ball went straight to the gutter. Jackson immediately started laughing at him and Allison went straight on the defensive for Scott.
"Do you mind shutting up." Allison said.
"I'm sorry I'm just flashing back to the word I'm a great bowler." Jackson said continuing to laugh.
"Maybe he just needs a little warm up, get off all the rust." Allison continues to defend him.
"Maybe he just needs the kiddy bumpers." Jackson replied and Lydia laughed a little as well.
Malia and Cora had also started bowling two lanes over and Malia listening in started lightly growling and looked towards Jackson. Cora smiled and pet her shoulder some.
"Down girl." She chided.
"I know but what an asshole." Malia said crossly.
Allison and Jackson were still going back and forth as Allison defended Scott, she looked up to him and smiled.
"Just aim for the middle and concentrate." Allison said.
"How about you aim for anything except the gutter." Jackson said mockingly.
Scott looked back at them and now turned back towards the alley grabbing a slightly heavier ball and then aiming down the middle he was once again distracted as he heard Malia's growling getting louder and her scent screamed she was about to attack. Though distracted he went straight down the middle before it curved right at the last second and hit the gutter again.
"Great job McCall." Jackson said the only one laughing at him at this point.
Cora at this point was trying her best to make sure Malia didn't outright claw this mans throat out. Malia calmed down as she went to take her turn to bowl and hitting a strike right away, she listened in on them again.
"God McCall you are a pro." Jackson said ridiculing him again as he sat down.
"Don't worry, we only just started." Allison reassured Scott patting his leg as she glared dagger at Jackson.
-
Derek was at the gas station filling his Mustang as he tried to get the thoughts of Peter murdering people out of his head. As he stood there filling, he saw two cars pulling in one now pulled in in front of him and another pulled up sideways behind him. Out of the car in front of him Mr. Argent got out of the driver's side.
-
Once again it was Scotts turn and he looked nervous and discouraged from the last time he was up, seeing him like that Allison couldn't stand it any longer. She had to do something and do something fast, thinking on her feet she decided to go for it as he was standing there, and he grabbed his ball she ran up to him and went to his side. Jackson sighed as he watched this rolling his eyes.
"Scott your thinking too much." Allison said smiling at him
"I'm sorry. I know I'm ruining this for everyone." Scott said discouragingly.
Malia and Cora both listened in and watched the scene unfold and smiled that she was being so reassuring. Malia though didn't think she liked Allison as she took Scott from her thought highly of her for staying on his side.
"Just clear your head and think bout something else." Allison told him.
"Like what?" Scott asked trying his best to keep his head clear not jut of Jackson insults but Cora and Malia's feeling of malice toward Jackson.
"Think about anything, think about me…." She said the first to part as she was about to turn away, she went straight to his ear and said "naked.".
Cora could not resist but to add on to that as their malicious feelings towards Jackson went way replaced with more sexual feelings. Knowing Scott could hear her she spoke straight to him silently so no one else could hear but him and Malia.
"Maybe Malia and I could join her, Malia told me about the hot kiss she shared with her last Friday." Cora said flirtatiously grinning widely as Malia smirked at her,
Scott hearing all their words smirked as he looked to the alley again a bit more focused as he though of the three girls naked and Malia kissing Allison, Cora joining in as well. Concentrating on the center pin he threw the ball down the alley again this time it didn't miss the mark going for a strike and after that for his second roll he got another strike. Allison cheered for him while Malia and Cora did as well a little more quietly.
"What did you say to him?" Lydia asked surprised he had gotten the two strikes in a row.
Jackson looked shocked his mouth open looking to catch flies as Allison laughed lightly clapping as she cheered for him.
"I just gave him something to think about." Allison said blushing light as Scott sat down next to her.
-
Derek was almost done filling up as the other two men came out of the SUV behind him, putting the gas pump back on it holster he looked around to see all of them. What the hunters didn't know is coming out from the gas station store was Erica, Boyd and Isaac, Derek stealthy signaled them to go around the back of the hunters.
"Nice Ride. The thing about black cars though very hard to keep clean. I'd definitely suggest some maintenance" Mr. Argent said to Derek rubbing a spot on the front hood of the car.
"When you have something this nice, you want to take care of it. Personally, I'm very protective of the things I love. That's something I learned from my family and that isn't something you have much of these days. Do you?" Argent continues and asked Derek as he swabbed the front windshield with the cleaner stick.
"You know, you would think that would you. However, my family has grown a little as of late." Derek said clenching his fist and then releasing as the teen wolves came out of the shadows behind all the hunters.
Boyd and Isaac came behind the two hunters behind Derek and Erica came up from behind Mr. Argent. Derek smiled at him as Argent nodded finishing cleaning the front windshield.
"There you go you can actually look through your windshield now. Certainly, makes things so much clearer." Argent said still trying to threaten all of them.
"You forgot to check the oil." Derek said grinning.
"I think you can do that yourself. Have a good night." Argent said a little defeated as he called of his hunters and he himself got into his car.
"Alright guys get in the car; we have to let them go." Derek said to the teens.
"We could have taken them." Boyd and Isaac said to him getting in the back of the mustang.
"Not with all these cameras. I'm just glad I wasn't alone." Derek said and he himself got into his car, Erica getting in on the passenger side.
-
Scott was killing it the rest of the game and Jackson now looked miserable as he got another strike and sat down next to Allison. A few Lanes over Cora and Malia were doing the same thing, all just rolling strikes the entire night.
"So, Jackson. How many strikes is that?" She goaded him with a smirk.
"That would be six in a row" Jackson said irritated and showing his frustration all over his face.
Lydia smiled and looked to Scott before turning to Jackson with a pout and a light humph. Allison grabbed Scotts legs light and kissed his cheek.
"Something just clicked." Scott said blushing over all the attention.
"Maybe its natural talent." Allison said staring at him flirtatiously.
"I can see natural talent." Lydia said smiling at him also trying to rile up Jackson.
Malia and Cora had been listening in on the conversation and laughed lightly from their alley seats. Both knowing the only reason something clicked was because he was turned on and thinking of the girls naked and making out which allowed him to clear his head.
"Natural talent, more like wanting to see a lesbian threesome." Malia said wildly and looked to Cora.
"I'm game." Cora joked trying to goad Scott who was probably still listening in on them too.
Lydia stood up as it was her turn and looked at Scott arms crossed and eyeing him like predator about to eat its pray. Scott looked very uncomfortable now squirming a little.
"Scott would you mind helping me out this time." Lydia asked seduction dripping off her tongue.
"I'm all set, I think you got this." he said doing his best to not be eaten alive by his best friend's crush.
"Thanks for the vote of confidence." Lydia said shrugging it off as he ignored her flirting.
Lydia looked a little upset as eh turned on her heals flinging her hair as she walked up to grab her ball. Jackson surprised at Scotts willpower stood up and went to go to her aide.
"Hey, I'll help." Jackson said trying to do what he had done earlier in the first roll.
"No thank you. I'll do it myself." Lydia said annoyed.
Lydia smiled as she looked to the alley as Jackson quickly like a puppy who has just been scolded went back to his seat. Lydia smiled eyeing the pins in complete concentration. 'I'll show him' Lydia thought taking a deep breath she rolled her ball in perfect form the ball instantly hitting the pins all down.
"I think I'm getting the hang of it." Lydia said sarcastically as she sat down.
"I'm almost 100% sure that was perfect form." Allison said not really surprised.
"Was it?" Lydia questioned her as Allison no moved in closer to her she also mover closer.
"You should stop pretending to suck just for his benefit." Allison whispered trying to make her understand how sucky Jackson was.
"Trust me I do plenty of sucking just for his benefit." Lydia chided quietly though enough for Scott to hear which caused him to almost choke on his soda.
-
Jackson stood in front of the pinball machine a little pissed about how the night went and Scott showing him up 'he has to be on something or its something weird' he thought to himself. Scott came up beside him and the machine as Jackson made a good shot to the jackpot. Cora and Lydia finished their game and had been in the arcade a little bit and now watched Scott and Jackson like hawks just in case something broke out.
"Nice shot man. Listen I know neither of us want to be here, but we don't have to hate each other" Scott said trying to extend an olive branch, he had been getting sick of the hostility between them.
"I don't hate you; I just don't believe you aren't on something or I don't know something weird. I know you cheated tonight." Jackson said and angrily hit the ball on the pinball machine again.
"How do you cheat at bowling?" Scott said questioning him.
"I don't know but you did. I'm not sure if its steroids or something weirder. I'm guessing the something weirder since its pretty obvious you're a freak. I'll find out what you are hiding it will just take time" Jackson spat angrily.
"I don't have any secrets." Scott defended himself.
"Yeah you do and I'm pretty sure it isn't just yours; I think it involves the people around you too." Jackson said and looked over at Malia and Cora who were at this point obviously starring at them.
"I also think whatever it is you and the den mothers over there are hiding but I know you don't want Allison to find out." Jackson said as he looked over at Allison and Lydia untying their bowling shoes.
Scott looked over to her and did his best to keep a straight face and then motioned for Cora and Malia to stay where they were. He could tell they were about to beat the crap out of Jackson or kill him, but he couldn't have that. He took a deep breath then walked away from Jackson as the night of bowling had ended.
-
Scott and Allison had a nice ride towards Allison's house as he was bringing her home after their date. She smiled as he opened her door, taking her hand he walked with her towards her front door before booth stood face to face in front of her homes entrance.
"Do you think we could hang out again sometime soon?" Scott nervously asked her.
"Definitely, however I have to ask you something too. The night with Malia and the hospital I sort of followed you two into the woods. You're gonna think I'm crazy if I bring this up." Allison said as she wanted to ask him but was reluctant.
"Try me." Scott said knowing what was coming he sighed.
"I saw I think you two however it was dark out, but it was human forms. They turned into wolves. Can you tell me what really happened?" Allison said
The question caught Scott off guard, but he tried not show it. He was glad that was all she could see in those dark woods otherwise he wasn't sure if she would still be dating him. Getting into his thoughts he finally came too to answer the question, he knew he couldn't tell her here, but he did want to tell her.
"Allison, I want to tell you everything but right now isn't the best place to do so. Tomorrow come to my house and you can meet Malia and I there and we can tell you everything." Scott told her
"I'm fine with that Scott but can you at least tell me a little now." Allison asked she wanted to know but wasn't trying to push.
"I can show you my true eyes and tell you what I am but the rest you have to see to believe." Scott said and with that his eyes started to glow their golden yellow.
Allison was scared at first as the primal part of her brain was screaming to run but she knew Scott wouldn't hurt her, so she didn't. 'his eyes are beautiful' she thought reaching for his hands she pulled him close and moved her hands around his neck. She felt Scotts hands wrap around her waist and they started kissing a little before the lights started to flick on and off.
"That's my queue, my mom must be watching. I'll see you tomorrow." Allison said her mind still thinking to his glowing eyes.
Scott got into the car and texted Malia and the pack, he didn't think Allison knew about werewolves which meant she wasn't an enemy or a hunter. He was going to tell her everything and he want to tell the pack his plan, he was going to turn her to their side.
-
All the pack met at the hale house, Peter paced the room as the others were all sitting down the only thing Scott had messaged them was Pack meeting Hale house, I have an idea. Finally, Scott walked through the door with everyone there he saw Peter staring at him.
"Okay Scott what's this all about?" Peter asked him seriously.
"I know what I'm about to suggest may sound risky, but I need everyone to keep an open mind. I don't think Allison is a hunter, she asked me tonight what really happened with Malia and I as she followed us and saw two human forms turn into wolves. Due to that evidence I think we should tell her before they can." Scott said, the words surprised everyone most of all Peter.
The room was silent for a moment as if they were all deliberating and though Peter didn't like the idea, he also knew that if it worked it would deal a massive blow to the Argents. Derek who had been here before didn't trust the idea one bit as he had dealt with an Argent before, Kate and he thought the same. Derek was the first to break the silence.
"What if you are wrong and she is a hunter, that would put us all at risk. She could give her people valuable information on us." Derek said voicing his opinion.
"Wait now think about it even if she is a hunter it would only mean I need to bite her." Peter said knowing the Argents traditions.
"We can't bit…" Scott was about to say before Peter interrupted.
"Scott, stop. You are to naïve, if she finds out what you are and isn't a hunter turning her would be our best bet at getting her on our side. If she is a hunter and refuses the bite then we will know for sure.
"What if she denies it cuz it could kill her." Isaac spoke up.
"Simple, we don't tell her that and if she refuses the bite, she is a hunter. You see they have a silly little tradition about being bitten. They kill themselves if they get bitten by an alpha." Peter told them
"I don't agree with this Peter, not telling her something vital would be irresponsible and on top of that she isn't aware her family are hunters. She would be fighting her family; did you think of that Scott." Cora said knowing ho important family is to her.
"I wan to agree with Peter here as it give us an advantage, but Scott I think you need to put more thought into this, its not like she is Stiles. Cora is right she would become an orphan overnight" Malia said bluntly.
"I just don't think she is our enemy and I think laying out all the facts would at least make sure we wouldn't have to hurt her." Scott said.
"Look Scott I like the idea in fact I say we do it and turn her she trades her hunter family for the pack, and we don't have to hurt the girl. Win- win." Peter said grinning.
"I think we should leave her getting the bite up to her." Scott said.
"Fine, I'll allow her to choose with all the facts." Peter said slyly, he had a plan and whether Scott like it or not Allison was going to join them.
"Then its decided, tomorrow Malia and I will explain to her we are supernatural's then bring her here." Scott said and looked to Malia who nodded.
"I'm just going on the record; I don't like this idea." Derek said before walking out of the room.
Everyone left the room now except Scott and Peter now, Scott sat down on the couch and Peter the couch. Peter knew the boy was just trying to keep someone he had feeling for safe but using that to his advantage would work well.
"I had another thing I wanted to talk to you about." Scott told him.
"Oh, what would that be Scott." Peter responded.
"There was a bus driver killed recently, I thought it was me. I went to the scene thinking it was me but found it wasn't. Derek taught me how to figure it out but though I didn't do it I saw who did. I saw a big demonic looking wolf with red eyes. Is there another Alpha?" Scott asked
"I'm not sure but I have been looking into it. I'll have to do a bit more investigating though, we can't deal with enemies on two fronts." Peter told the boy.
Scott found the way he was talking a little suspicious but knew they had a deal; they weren't going to kill anyone. When he first became the beta that was the deal, they made otherwise he wasn't going to help him. Scott left after their small conversation, but Derek came in after he left hearing the conversation from upstairs.
"You lied straight to his face." Derek said to him.
"He is still naïve he doesn't understand that in order to defend ourselves we need to kill those who endangered or hurt us." Peter said to him.
"I also don't agree with killing unless it's necessary, but I do understand the want revenge. I want them dead too as long as we don't kill innocents." Derek said.
"We won't kill any innocent people, scouts honor." Peter said grinning going up to his room.
