"Did she tell you?"

It's evening and Koh has found Sayo fiddling with the egg incubators. One was a mix of blue, purple and pink but she doesn't let that guide her. She examines the other eggs dutifully and takes records. He adds them to the system as she goes.

"Mmhm." Sayo nods. "It made my ankles itch just thinking about it. Might be nice to settle with Li though."

"Might." he sighs. "Never stayed with him for more than a few days though. He said stuff about the data we've been scanning being good for the area but we don't know until we upload it."

"Hmm." Sayo leans back. "Well, it's something. I might be helping Li in the construction. After Lunamon hatches again obviously."

"You're sure this is her?" He scans the other eggs, finding one patterned in flames.

"Just the vibes," she replies. "What about you? You ready to quit running?"

Koh thinks of the sky falling over his head, of tumbling head over heels in the air, holding onto his digivice like a lifeline, begging begging begging it to end.

"I'm not sure yet," he says.

Sayo nods at this and finishes the examination. "Well, be sure soon. I'm not letting you go off on your own."

"Gee, thanks."
