Part 7

May crashed into the water. Still trying to process what happened, may didn't move for a second seconds. When she finally realized how deep this water was. May had no idea how to swim and was running low on air. A terrified May struggled to breath, while May was undoubtably brave, she was still afraid to die. May started to feel herself lose consciousness she clung onto her life with all she had. But it wasn't enough. May blacked out. She hadn't died though; she was still alive. But barley. When may opened her eyes next, she was no longer in the water? Instead, she was in a room. By herself. After looking around for a little bit. May jumped off the bed Max you idiot! May thought to herself You almost killed me! She owed her thanks to whoever had saved her, so she began looking. Near the bed she was sleeping on, she saw a pile of golden coins. May looked at the coins, speechless. This is so many coins! I could get whatever I wanted if I had all this! May thought to herself. For the tiniest of second, May wanted to take some of the gold, but of course she didn't, this cat had saved her life after all. May walked around a bit longer, until she heard the front door open. May instantly ran to the door, and then gave a loud mew and gratitude, and appreciation. In the doorway, was a large black cat wearing a yellow hat. "Hey! Your awake now!" the cat said" I'm Kuro, I knew your parents a while back". May remembered hearing her father talk about Kuro, though she had never met him. May looked up at Kuro with extreme appreciation. Thank you! May thought to herself as she gave another mew. "Well, I'll go and take you home now, follow me!" Kuro said. May had almost died, and this cat had saved her life! May gave another mew of thanks and followed Kuro. Admiring this cat, for saving her. What May didn't know, was that it had been 2 months since she was pushed.

Max was sitting next to Lex now. Shinji had jumped in the water, looking for May. Lex began crying, thinking he lost another sister. Max had felt bad for what he did, sure he wanted to get his revenge, but had he gone too far? Max thought about Lea, Him and Lea never really talked much, but he still loved her. And now he just pushed May into the water, and she is lost. Max started crying with Lex. Now both of their sisters were gone. Because of Max. It's all my fault! Max began thinking to himself while crying. Max saw Shinji jump back on the boat, after about an hour had passed. "I... I couldn't find her" Shinji shakily said to himself. This did not help the situation in the slightest. Lex began crying more. Max, tried to comfort him, but was met with a hiss. Lex had known that Max pushed May. It made sense for Lex to be angry at him right now. But it still hurt, it still hurt that his brother had just hissed at him. "Lets... lets go home now" Shinji barley managed to say. Max jumped off the boat with ease, he looked back. Lex hadn't even moved. He had stopped crying, but now he was just lying there. Not moving. Not asleep. Just lying there. "Lex? Let's go buddy" Shinji said. Lex didn't move still. He just laid there, it was now that Lex had begun to sleep. Shinji picked him up by the scruff and jumped across the boat. The three of them went inside. "you two stay here" Shinji said before immediately running back outside. Lex began to softy cry to himself. Lex, please, it will be ok Max wished he could say. He gave a little mew towards Lex. Lex looked at him, and nuzzled him, a sign of forgiveness since Max was the only sibling Lex had left presumably. The two brothers slept next to each other. It was just the two of them now, at least that's what they thought.

Shinji was on an emotional roller coaster. On one hand, he was deeply saddened that may had presumably drowned. He wasn't able to save her, so it is most likely that she drowned. After Lea had just gone missing, May drowning wasn't the best thing to be processing, hell it would never be a good time to process. On another hand, Shinji was angry at Max, He was sure that Max didn't mean to hurt may, but it still happened. And on the final hand, Shinji was mortified. Shinji was terrified on how Amy would take all this. You have one job! Shinji said to himself. It wasn't too hard to find Amy, Shinji knew she would go and ask Olli for help. "S-Shinji? What are you doing here! Where are the kittens?" Amy practically yelled. "Amy, I... I need to tell you something" Shinji breathed out.

"Why aren't you with the kittens?"

"Amy let me explain-"

"That's why I wanted your help! So, you could watch them!"

"Amy please-"

"What is it Shinji! I'm very busy right now"

"Amy, May... She... she drowned." Shinji managed to say. A look of pure shock and despair ran across Amy's face. "n-no, no Shinji you can't be serious!" Amy said. "I'm sorry Amy-" Shinji managed to breath out, before being interrupted. "You were supposed to watch them! You are supposed to protect them! You're letting them drown, and you left Lex and Max at home!" Amy yelled. Shinji had nothing to say. He had failed.
