When Ella had finished asking Silvia her questions and after Silvia left to fetch the guards, she stood in front of her full-length mirror admiring her dress. Suddenly she saw a shadow out the corner of her eye. She turned thinking it was just Jareth trying to get a sneak peek at his bride, but when she turned she screamed. "Who are you? What ar-..." She paused. "I feel like I've seen you before. Like I've seen everything that's about to happen. Just like déjà vu…" Kane smiled, his plan was working.

He sat down casually in one of the armchairs. "That's because you have sweet, Ella. I manipulated your dream last night." Ella gasped and began to back away from him. "Y-you're Kane." Her voice was trembling in fear as her nightmare flashed through her mind.

Kane grinned at her. Ella didn't see a step stool behind her as she tripped over it and fell to her side on the floor. Kane stood up and casually walked over to her. She went to back up but hit a wall. Kane kneeled down next to her.

Ella was frozen in fear. He reached out and caressed her cheek. "Ah, sweet defenseless Ella, how I enjoy the look of fear upon your angelic face. Though I enjoyed your defiant side in your dream last night, I think I prefer this side. The docile and obedient Ella." He gripped her chin tightly and brought her lips to his roughly.

He began kissing her passionately. His free hand proceeded to move down towards the hem of her dress, just like her dream. Ella remembered what happened when she tried to fight him off, so though she was terrified she fought the urge to fight back. Kane grinned as he knew she was succumbing to him. He picked her up in his arms bridal style and made his way over to the bed.

He laid her down gently. Ella closed her eyes afraid of what was to come next. Suddenly she felt her dress being torn from her body. Her eyes shot open. "What are you…" Kane threw the shredded gown to the floor and pushed his finger to her lips.

"Shhh, just lay still." He positioned himself on top of her and began slowly sliding her silk panties down her hips. Ella felt tears streaming down her face. She knew what was about to happen. A tiny thought rushed through her mind, 'This isn't how my dream went. Why is it so different? Why isn't Jareth coming to save me?'

Just as Kane slid the silk panties off her foot Jareth came barging in the door. "Get away from her Kane," Jareth growled in anger. Kane smirked maliciously. "Finally, now you can witness me defiling your bride." Kane quickly gripped Ella's thigh and positioned himself near her entrance. Ella tried to struggle but it was no use.

"Jareth please, help me," she screamed in terror. "Wait!" Jareth yelled out to Kane. Kane stopped and looked at Jareth. "Are you going to beg me to stop?" Kane grinned sadistically.

Jareth grinned back, "If you don't let her go you will no longer have a kingdom or an army to rule." Kane glared at Jareth in confusion. Then he pushed Ella's leg to the side and got off the bed. "What are you talking about?" Jareth motioned for Kane to look out the window.

Kane rushed over to the window. Ella took this as her chance to get behind Jareth for safety. What Kane saw was his army waving a white flag of surrender and throwing down their weapons. He looked back at Jareth in rage. "How?" Jareth simply shrugged, "You neglected to realize my army is substantially larger than yours. Those are just a few of my men down there. The rest are at your castle in The Shadow Kingdom waiting for orders to lay siege." Kane unsheathed his sword and lunged at Jareth. Jareth unsheathed his sword and pushed Ella out of the way so she didn't get hurt.

"You bastard, it's your fault. Everything is your fault. I hate you." Kane yelled in anger as he and Jareth dueled. "How is anything my fault, Kane? I was just a child when you were born. I had no control of what our father did to you and your mother." Jareth tried to reason with him. "It's unfair, my mother and I were cast out like we meant nothing, while you received praise and affection." The more Kane yelled out his frustrations about Jareth, the more reckless he got.

Finally, Jareth knocked Kane's sword from his hand and held his blade to his throat. Kane fell to his knees, out of breath. Jareth breathlessly asked, "Do you yield?" Kane looked away from Jareth, "Yes, you win brother." Jareth sighed and resheathed his sword. Then what he did next surprised both Ella and Kane. Jareth reached out his hand to Kane as a sign of peace. Kane looked up at it skeptically, then smiled and took Jareth's hand.

Jareth smiled at Kane, "Look, I can't lie and say I know what you went through, regardless of your lineage, you are still my brother. I hope you will allow me to help your kingdom prosper. I also hope to teach you to become a better king. A king your mother would've been proud of. It won't be easy, but I believe if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything." Kane smiled at Jareth's kind words. "I promise to try my best to exceed your expectations, brother."

Ella walked over and stood beside Jareth. Kane looked away embarrassed, but got down on one knee and grasped her hand. "Ella, I humbly ask your forgiveness, and I hope one day you can look at me as someone who would give his life to protect you." Ella smiled sweetly. "Kane, I forgive you, and I would be honored if you would give me away at the wedding." Kane looked up at Ella in shock. Then he smiled and kissed her hand tenderly. "I would be honored, my queen."

Jareth wrapped his arm around Ella and gave her a kiss on her temple. Then he waved his hand and Ella had an even more beautiful dress than before appearing over her body. She looked down in amazement. She looked up to Jareth to say thank you when she realized he and Kane were also dressed in handsomely stunning tuxedos. Kane held out his arm to Ella.

She linked hers with him and they all transported to a beautifully decorated throne room. Jareth stood at the altar next to the priest. The wedding march began to play on the immaculate organ on the left side of the room. Ella and Kane began making their way down the rose pedaled aisle, arms linked together. Once they reached Jareth Kane gave Ella a kiss on the cheek then took his place at Jareth's side. Jareth began to recite the vows he wrote:

I Jareth prove my love to you, Ella, as I invite you to share my life and my kingdom. You are the most beautiful, smart, and generous person I have ever known, and I promise always to respect you and love you. With kindness, unselfishness, and trust, I will rule by your side to create a wonderful life together and a prosperous kingdom. I take you, Ella, to be my Queen, together we will become a part of one another. I vow to help create a life that we can cherish, inspiring your love for me and mine for you. I vow to be honest, caring, and truthful, to love you as you are and not as I want you to be, and to stay by your side as your love and best friend, forever.

Ella felt tears welling in her eyes at how beautiful his vows were. She took and deep breath and began to recite her's:

I, Ella, pledge my undying love, and take you Jareth, to be my friend, my lover, the father of my children, my husband, and my King. I will be yours in times of plenty and in times of want, in times of sickness and in times of health, in times of joy and in times of sorrow, in times of failure and in times of triumph. I promise to cherish and respect you, to care and protect you, to comfort and encourage you, and stay with you, for all eternity.

Jareth and Ella exchanged rings, then the priest pronounced them husband and wife. Then he declared Ella The Goblin Queen by placing a tiara upon her head. Jareth leaned into her and began kissing her passionately on the lips.
