Take over of Lon Lon
AN: Sorry this took a while to get out. My wife bless her soul has a tendency to ask me to explain the story line of one game or another and while I was recently playing Breath of the Wild she gave me another story idea that I had to work a little on and add to my collection of story ideas for the future. I still plan on working on and producing one story at a time just because I cant stand it when the author works on a story and then when it gets good or im waiting for the next chapter he comes out with a completely different story and then never returns to the first. So before I move on with this story I will state a couple of ideas for some stories in case someone wants to take up the challenges and write them out. If you do more power to ya I just have so many story ideas that I want to write out before these I don't want the ideas to disappear
Overlord of the Wild: Zelda BOTW/Overlord crossover-instead of zelda waking link up from the shrine of resurrection. He is woken up by our lovable minions and the next overlord is born conquering hyrule while he also works on defeating calamity gannon.
Twilight Overlord: Zelda Twilight Princess/Overlord crossover- when Zant Zaps Link with the extra twilight energy to lock him into his wolf form it corrupts link and the minions sense his corruption to evil and arrive to help cause a little chaos.
Anyways those are the two stories that I have had a couple of little ideas for but I have a few other crossovers and fanfiction stories that I have already been working on that I will get around to publishing down the road first. So with that on with the story. I do not own Zelda nor do I own Overlord except for copies of the games.
Just as the sun rose to its full noon position, Ingo was roaming the walls searching for the strange lad who he had trapped within the walls of lon lon ranch not three days prior. He had sent a message to one of the regent Darknuts that served as the great lord Gannondorf's enforcers saying that a young warrior had appeared and what the young man had done. He knew that if the great king was pleased than he would be rewarded.
Navi was frustrated, no she was pissed! She had actually believed that that boy would be at Kakariko Village within the next couple of days but no he was slacking again wasn't he? Here she was searching for all sorts and bits of information and he was goofing off at that stupid ranch. Didnt he know how important their mission was to stop Gannondorf from doing whatever he pleased? And why had he been so rude to Raru the Sage of light? Well at least she discovered where the hook shot was so that whn he finally got his useless rear there they would be able to move on. Honestly how the Great Deku Tree could think that someone so irresponsible and lazy as that boy could be trusted with the fate of Hyrule she would never know. Just as she starts to float by another house inside of the growing village she hears the familiar snoring of someone.
Curious she floats over to discover Talon asleep on the pallet mumbling in his sleep about apoligizing and leaving malon where she was. Shrugging her shoulders navi starts to float away finally fed up with link not appearing she starts to head to lon lon ranch where she will give him a piece of her mind.
Meanwhile at the said ranch a low rumbling starts shaking the property. The horses start running all over the place causing problems for all the stable hands that Ingo had to assist him (what do you think he would get his hands dirty with the chores?) the cows in the barn start panicking as well but before anything can happen the quake stops. Everything settles for a moment when suddenly the doors to the tower located on the south western portion of the ranch burst open with minions pooring out. As the dust settles and the minions finish charging out A giant of a man in dark armor steps out of the tower, holding out his hand towards the stunned workers he points and a gem on his gauntlet starts to glow.
"Capture and bring them all to me! let none escape!" he commands his minions who begin to charge through the portal at a rapid pace.
With the surprise attack none of the workers were able to escape or hide in time and all were captured. With link standing as if holding court Ingo was brought before him.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS! WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU DOING THI..." abruptly shut up due to the punch in his gut from the armored warrior, Ingo falls to his knees terrified of what is going on in front of him.
"It is high time that you learn some truths Ingo, one you are not in charge nor are you that great of a man. You are just a simple hired hand that got too big for his britches in following the false pretender." the overlord stated in a bored tone.
"Two just because you know some people in supposed high places does not mean you can do what you want. And finally it is time for you to learn what your new role is going to be minions take him away."
Suddenly the browns who held Ingo dragged the skinny man kicking and screaming towards the portal leading him to the underworld. As this happened each of the farm hands were brought forth one by one being released after link used the evil presence spell on each of them making them totally and completely loyal to him for the rest of time. They resumed their duties of taking care of the animals and the farm lands singing praises to their overlord. Finally one was left to be brought forth and instead of being dragged to him she was escorted by a group of minions in better looking equipment then the rest of their brethren.
"Ahh Malon... it is finally time my dear, all preparations have been made if you will just join me we can begin to move things along." holding out his hand to the fair maiden link brings her close to him entering the portal leading to his headquarters. Just as they step through and the light flashes signaling the success of teleportation Navi arrives at the ranch seeing the two dissapear. Wondering what is going on she looks for link but cant find him, nor can she find malon or ingo or anyone that she can recognize. The only thing she can get out of the workers is how great the overlord is for letting them serve him. Finally having enough she goes heads back to kakariko village to find talon again and figure out whats going on.
Meanwhile in the underworld malon has been shown around the castle that is now links ending the tour in the bedroom. Giggling she looks over at her old friend who is now dressed in a comfortable dark green that is almost black tunic she walks up to him placing her hands on his chest trying to be as close to him as she physically could.
"well my lord.. now that you have saved me from my fate and taken the reigns of the ranch what is it that you desire? What can I do to repay your deeds and efforts?" she asked as she stared into his eyes and started pose in such a way that her generous cleavage was in his view.
"oh I can think of a few things that you can do.."
Down in the throne room gnarl was studying the scrying pool trying to figure out what his lords next target should be seeing as lon lon ranch was now in their control. So many options and at the same time they needed to find out what had happened to the other hives. After all his master had the browns under his control and the reds would most likely be found on death mountain. So where could the blues and the greens be. Traditionally the overlord would obtain the browns, and then the reds, followed by greens, and finally the blues. However he had a feeling that his master would be changing things up. Suddenly there was shaking of the entire castle. 'That is odd' he thought to himself after all there had never been any quakes that had affected the underworld before suddenly another shock wave shook the fortress. Wave after wave it shook for hours on end until finally things settled down. With a grin on his face the old minion master looked up and just said to the air, "good on you m'lord good on you for claiming your first mistress."
Hours later in the throneroom...
With link sitting on the throne and malon sitting in his lap gnarl approaches the couple with a strange box in his hands "Master, with lon lon ranch now in your posession where do you plan on spreading your influence to next? I have ideas as to where the three missing hives might be located. The reds might have taken up residence upon death mountain. While the blues are probably down at the zoras lake. Finally the greens are most likely somewhere deep within the lost woods. Now the stupid sage of light raru and that weird sheika named sheik were wanting you to visit these places and awaken the sages to help defeat that stupid thief Gannondorf. But again it is your call as to where and what to do."
Nodding slowly link looks at his minion master and then at his sexy mistress sitting on his lap. With her flaming red hair flowing over her shoulder and now in a dress that was quite a bit more revealing than the old farm clothes that she would normally wear. He begins pondering his options but realizes that before he chooses he does have a couple of other items of business to take care of first.
"gnarl bring the prisoner here so that I may question him."
"yes my master"
Coming up from the dungeons Ingo who appeared to have recently been beaten is unceremoniously dropped in front of the overlord. Looking around and finally seeing the young man sitting on the throne with the stupid bint of a girl sitting in his lap Ingo starts to get angry and thinks that for some reason he can yell at them and get away with it.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? WHEN THE GREAT GANNONDORF LEARNS OF THIS. YOU WILL ALL BE PUNISHED TO THE EXTREME! I AM THE GREAT INGO AND I DEMAND THAT YOU RELEASE ME THIS INSTANT!"
Stepping up from his throne link looks at the pathetic man and just begins to laugh and laugh until finally he glares at the scarecrow of a man. "You think that you have some sort of pull with that pathetic thief? Please you are easily replaceable however I think I have a better form of punishment for you. You will become the personal slave and servant to my new mistress here. What do you think of that my dear?"
"I think that will be lovely, not only will he have to do whatever I tell him to but if something happens he can take the blame and the fall for it."
Hand glowing a dark blue color with energy flowing from it link strikes like lightning, covering the mans head with energy you can almost see his priorities and thought patterns change to be more compliant to his new master and mistresses commands. Wanting to show how eager he was to serve Ingo rose to a kneeling position and with a loud voice cried out "oh how may I serve my master today?"
"You will return to the ranch and remain in charge for the time being Ingo, however when either Malon or myself are there you will follow and obey every command that we give without fail is that understood?"
"Yes my overlord I live to serve however I should let you know that before you arrived this morning I had sent a message to Gannondorf informing of you being held at the ranch. I did this because there is a standing order that all strange travellers are to be detained until a representative of his could arrive and take custody of the prisoner."
"hmm that will be something to think on but I am nonetheless pleased that you had the forethought to tell me about this or you would have been struck down later for your incompetence. Now leave us and resume your duties."
As Ingo departed the throne room Malon looked at link and simply asked "what are you thinking of now my dear lover? Is the thought of Gannondorf's forces bothering you or is it something else?"
"simple my dear I need to place the portal somewhere that his monsters cannot find. While I plan on eventually taking him down I am not strong enough and do not have all of my forces marshalled and ready to strike. I still need time, time to plan and prepare. Do you have any ideas as to how we can do this? I am after all open to suggestions."
"Well with the portal located in the old tower that would be easy to hide due to no one ever going inside of that tower. As for the workers is there a way for them to appear less redead like? Maybe a way to have them act normal. They would still be under your control but with your minions hiding and Ingo still supposedly in charge he can easily claim that the traveler had somehow escaped. And if Ingo is punished then he is punished, its not like that is any skin off of your back. Either way it will be called a false alarm and you will be a might on the wind as some people like to say."
"Hmm a very good idea my dear. Very well, we will go with your plan for the time being. Now before we move on to the next adventure I have some things that I need to check on, and then I need to get to kakariko village to keep that dumb fairy unaware of what is going on for just a little bit longer. I have finally come up with an idea for her I just need a couple of things to prepare before it happens."
Getting up from his throne link begins to move towards the chamber that holds the tower heart with Malon slowly following him from behind. Entering the chamber he notices a dark aura eminating from something close to the heart. And there it was sitting there waiting for him to take up was the master sword, the sword of evils bane. Yet at the same time it could no longer be known as a sword of evils bane for it had become corrupted now instead of the pommel being pure blue with a yellow gem resting in the center, the handle was black with red leather lacing through the handle and a blood red crystal pulsing with a subtle power. The blade itself once shining with a silver glow had now a dark tinge to it almost as if it was sucking in the light that was close to the blade. As link approached the blade Fi the construct of the blade comes out and kneels at his feet. Only this Fi instead of being blue was just like the new handle of his sword onyx black with glowing red eyes. The crystal that now rests within the confines of her ample bosom pulsed with a blood red glow. Looking up at her master Fi begins to speak with her strange accent.
"Oh master I must thank you for helping me see the truth of things, if it were not for you I would still think that my purpose was to just protect the world from darkness. But now I see that the world must have darkness just as it must have light. If there is only good in the world then people would not be able to learn and grow strong through their struggles. No longer shall I hold the title 'sword of evils bane'. From now on I am Fi the overlords personal weapon and the 'sword of evils gain' I am now an extension of your will. I will aid you in whatever way I can."
Nodding appreciatively toward the construct link holds out his hand and without saying anything, the construct leaps back into the gem of the sword which fly's into his hand. Just as his hands wrap around the hilt of the blade a dark energy flows from both master and blade growing more and more in power. For not only had the blade become corrupted but the dark energy and power from the original Malice that had been sealed away within the blade many generations previously along with all the dark energies that the blade had been used in the past to seal away and defeat now flowed into the new Overlord, increasing his magical capabilities over a hundred fold bringing him closer to matching the power of the king of thieves. And when the confrontation finally occurred between the two, tales would be woven and never forgotten. For the true Overlord had finally appeared and all that was good in the world quaked with fear.
AN:Well again I apoligize for the long delay. Between a writers block and a couple of other things I was not quite sure how to bring this chapter about. Now I have one more chapter to write before a decision is truly made but I give you readers a chance to help guide how the story goes. If you want to leave a comment or even just send me a message thats fine but I have 3 paths that link could take after the next chapter they are:
Link travels to death mountain to gain the reds-normally in the overlord series the overlord starts with the browns and then gets the reds followed by green and then blues so this would be continuing that tradition.
Link travels to zoras domain and lake hylia where he will gain the power of the blue minions. Each of the minions in my story will have powerful upgrades due to their master being a bit OP due to his own upgrades. And gaining the blues would be an interesting development
Link travels to the Lost Woods here he would be going along with zelda cannon partially but he would be gaining access to the Greens which are his spies and assassins.
Like I said earlier each minion group will be getting an upgrade and who knows I might come up with new minions if I get creative (or if someone has a good idea-maybe something to do with death or darkness for the shadow temple and something to do with sand or something else for the spirit temple I have not really thought that part up yet per se I just mainly have ideas so far for fire water and forest temples) anyways leave some comments let me know what you guys think im trying to not sound like some little elementary school grade writer so input is good to have. After all someday I would like to write and maybe even publish my own original story. I think It would be funny and a little cool to write an original story and then write some fanfictions on that just to mess around.
I promise that I will try to update more often and while I am working on this story I am starting to write other stories I just wont publish them until this story is done so that I can focus mainly on this.
