7. Chapter 3 Part: 5 First Uprising

Cape Town City Center, South Africa November 4th, 2028 (Murray)

I saw that civilians were living in fear while Collaborators were living in luxury resorts being funded by Le Paradox. It made me sick like Bobby since i hated those traitors. Sudeko and Wilbur called me saying that they are inside the Consulate and they are going to find the support structures to plant the explosives. So in case they give a slip up; i have to make a distraction to get the police away from the consulate.

While I was walking through the streets, i noticed that a convoy of police Master Vans were traveling on the road with red and blue siren lights on. It also shows a red holographic sign saying in different languages "Prisoner Transport" on it. Bobby told me that if i can stop the transport; it can cause the police to stay away from Sudeko and Wilbur. So I picked up a Ford Focus with my bare hands by pressing the Triangle button and waited for the transport to get near. When the police transport got nearby; I threw the focus at the convoy by pressing the Square button. One of the Master Vans stopped completely when the car tore open the doors and the other drove off the road and crashed right into a street light. The prisoners escaped the convoy running while L.C.A. guardians were chasing them.

Wilbur told me via earpiece that they were halfway done and I have to do more defiance until they are done planting the explosives. Then I ran away from the area with the wreck and I destroyed a generator that charges the holographic propaganda posters. Then I got into an old playground area where I saw an L.C.A. Knight (Shocktroopers and Shotgunners) forcing some kids to remove art from the wall since they thought it was an act of vandalism. I equipped the licks of lightning and electrocuted the soldier right before snapping his neck and freed the kids as they ran away to hide from anymore L.C.A.

Wilbur and Sudeko informed me that they finished planting the explosives and they are ready for the uprising to happen tonight. Bobby told us all via earpiece that we have to watch it at midnight. We need to rendezvous in the city center with the other Burners and rebels to watch the building crumble with explosions. We all got excited to see the explosions and the people of Cape Town rising up against these L.C.A. bullies.

Cape Town City Center, South Africa Uprising November 5th, 2028 (Mikhail)

We all made it to the rendezvous point near the consulate and Judy said that she will start the broadcast when the clock hits twelve AM. We waited and when the clock hit twelve; Judy pressed enter on her laptop and we saw the holographic propaganda TV's started to go static until it showed the Fist symbol with the word Freedom on the bottom on all TV's. Then an anonymous figure shows up wearing a neon Lady Liberty mask starts to talk to the civilians about rising up. I said to Bobby, "Who is this guy?" He said that the figure is the Voice of Freedom himself, Jeremy Cabot (Voice: Gary Ramòn Sandorf) and he is the reason why we all join Perci in the first place. After Cabot made his announcement, Tchaikovsky's Overture 1812 started to play on the TV's and radios. The civilians started to get confused like they heard music for the first time. Then Judy said, "Hey guys look at the consulate because here comes the crescendo like in V for Vendetta!" We looked at the building when the crescendo happens and the consulate started to explode. The fiery explosions started to do heavy damage to the building in all floors with shrapnel spraying into windows on the next building. After the explosions were done; the consulate started to fall down and it lands on the Engen Petroleum building; the petroleum offices had a hole right in the middle with heavy damage and debris scattered all over Thibault Square and Riebeek Street. After the music ends; Civilians were starting to create riots in the City Center with cars crashing right into L.C.A. soldiers and police vehicles, Holographic signs saying in multiple languages, "Warning: Riot in Progress", Civilians beating up L.C.A. soldiers and collaborators to death, Looters destroying shops with stealing their merchandise, and graffiti being on every futuristic building with some saying, "SCREW LE PARADOX" on them. I gave out the objective that we'll split up in groups on liberating the remaining L.C.A. settlements so that we can liberate Cape Town and make our move on Johannesburg. I, Beowulf, Bobby, and other rebel soldiers will do an all out attack on the L.C.A. Police HQ. Jake, Murray, Marcus, and Corey will take the Castle of Good Hope. Lastly; Sudeko, Wilbur, Judy, and Lucas will take stadium prison. As we all loaded our weapons, we all got into different directions to liberate the last settlements.
