Taken By Force

Chapter Seven: Gohan's First Mission

"What the hell was that all about Gohan? You just froze on us!" Split yelled. "Do you know what you could've costed us?!"

Gohan gulped. "S-Sorry." He replied. "I didn't mean to."

Split growled angrily. "Sorry isn't good enough!" He shouted.

"Hey! Calm Down Split!" Mimic yelled. "He's only four, and he's trying his best!"

"Age is no excuse! We needed this mission to be done flawlessly!" Split replied. "If we're ever gonna be able to get out of here, it has to be done right. We can't mistake even once!"

Gohan frowned and lowered his gaze.

"Go take a walk and cool yourself Split!" Mimic said. "Mistakes happen! We can't prevent them."

Split clenched his fists furiously, and turned around. "Whatever." He muttered. Split walked outside of the cabin in a fit of rage.

"You okay?" Mimic asked. She sat next to the boy.

"Y-Yeah." Gohan nodded. His gaze stayed away.

"What did happen out there?" Mimic asked. "Everything was going fine, but you just froze on us."

Gohan shrugged. "I don't know, I just did. I couldn't figure out why but something felt off." He replied.

"I'm sure it was nothing." Mimic said.

"Yeah but it got Split mad." Gohan frowned.

"Eh just ignore him. It's not like you've been doing this all the time. It's been awhile." Mimic replied. "And it's definitely not like your first mission."

"I guess..." Gohan frowned.

A few months earlier...

"Okay, remember, We're just here as the messenger." Split said. "There's no fighting invovled, we're to play a neutral part, so a treaty can be made. If they decline, well...let's not hope they decline."

Gohan raised his hand. "What happens if they decline?" He asked.

"Well then we'll have to force our hands." Split answered.

Gohan tilted his head in confusion. "Force our hands?"

"You'll find out if it comes to it." Split replied. "Just keep an eye out incase of anything fishy."

Split turned to the five pods, and entered his. "Let's go guys." He said as the hatch closed itself.

The four others entered their pods, but with Gohan a bit confused.

"Wait how do I star..." Gohan paused. The other four pods left instantly. He frowned. "You didn't tell me how to start this thing!"

A few minutes later, Gohan heard an incoming voice on his device.

"Where the hell are you Gohan?" Split asked.

"You didn't tell me how to start." Gohan answered. "I can't get it going or the door to close."

"You didn't read the manual?" Split replied.

Gohan frowned. "No, I forgot!" He said.

Split grunted and sighed. "You see that big blue button on the right side of the inside of the ship?" He asked.

"Yes." Gohan replied.

"Press it. That should take care of it, I'm having the ship linked to mine so It'll go where I go." Split said.

Gohan pressed the blue button, and the door slowly closed. Then the ship rumbled and blasted off, sending extreme pressure to Gohan. After a short ten seconds, the rest of the ride was smooth and Gohan felt light headed.

"Ow! That was not fun!" He whined.

"Eh, you'll get used to it." Split replied.

Several hours later, they arrived at their destination, on a small planet, which was mostly a forest except for one big Kingdom. Night had fallen and the group took camp.

"We'll camp here for tonight, and do it in the morning." Split said.

"Wait, I thought you said the treaty had to be done today?" Fu pointed out.

"I already talked to them, they can wait til morning." Split replied. "Get some sleep, we have a long day tommorow."

Tommorow...

"Wake up!" Split shouted. "It's time to go."

Gohan rubbed his eyes as he awoke. "But what about breakfest?" He asked.

"You can wait for breakfest later. The mission comes first." Split answered. Gohan frowned and huffed.

"Wait I gotta pee!" Fu shouted.

"Me too!" Tago added.

"Then go run over to some bushes or something. You don't need to ask!" Split said. He slapped his forehead harshly and groaned. "Children... I swear... "

Less than a minute later, the group left their campsite, and flew to the the giant gates of the royal throne.

"What kind of treaty is this for?" Gohan whispered.

"I don't know, details were vague, we were instructed not to know." Split answered. "Besides, we're just the messenger, what goes on in this planet and the other planet, is none of our concern."

Shortly arriving, the two guards stopped them.

"Who dare passes?" One of them said.

"We are soliders of Freeza Planet 9-JC, guarding a message sent from Planet Ohio." Split replied.

"You may pass, but the others cannot." The guard said.

"Sorry but we go as a group, I'm not leaving the behind." Split said.

"Then we cannot let you in." The guard replied.

"That's fine." Split shrugged. "I'll be sure to let my Overseer know, and he'll inform Planet Ohio didn't accept your planet's treaty, and if a war starts it'll all be your fault. BUT IM SURE you know what you're doing."

Split took a few steps back and then stopped. "Oh and what did you say your name was?"

The guard gulped. "You all may pass." He said.

Split smirked, and motioned for his team to follow along. They passed through the gates and walked up the massive stairs into the throne room, where the other guard had quickly informed the Emperor of the arrival.

"We've come with a message from Planet Ohio, your highness." Split said. He walked up to the Emperor and handed him the message. The Emperor took it from Split's hand and untied the scroll.

He read through it quickly with shock. "W-What?! I can't agree to these conditions!" He gasped. "Giving away my own flesh and blood for the sake of peace!? That's not even fair!"

"Would you like to us to send a reply to the other planet?" Split asked.

The Emperor stood up from his seat and shook his head. "No I've tried countless times to negotiate with their terms." He answered. "If he doesn't want to play fair, then this means war!"

"No offense sir, but 9-JC Training Facility knows of your military." Split replied. "You stand no chance. Planet Ohio has a fearsome military, with extremely advanced technology. I doubt your capable in making such declaration."

"You may be right boy, but we make up for it in resources." He said. "I can simply purchase more powerful milita."

"Allow me to personally go over there first. Maybe we can reason with him?" Split said.

"Let me ask my advisor and see what he thinks first." The Emperor replied. The Emperor turned to a tall purple alien standing next to his throne sir, and whispered to him.

"Mhm I see.." The Emperor said. He turned back to Split. "Very well, your proposal has been accepted, but I must warn you, the people of Ohio are untrustworthy. They can backstab you at any moment."

"I'm well aware sir." Split replied. "We'll be back at a moment's notice."

Split bowed to the Emperor and then left with his group. They returned to their camp, and left in their pods, arriving at Planet Ohio in just an hour.

Planet Ohio, had an eerie atmosphere, with a misty and foggy sky. The planet looked more desolate, and dark.

"What're we doing now?" Gohan asked.

"We're going to do exactly what we were instructed to do." Split answered. "And if they doing anything to us, we'll just consider it "self defense". "

There was a big gray castle in the distance, which the five entered, and walked up to the throne room. The aliens resembled pythons, only they were in a more humanoid stature. They were bulky and large, had big eyes, and scaly skin.

"Ah, The Ssssolider from the JC Training Facility." The Emperor said. "Hasssss the Emperor of Xetasss accepted our agreements."

"Not quite." Split answered. The Emperor raised an eyebrow. "He considered your conditions unfair, and unacceptable. I was sent to negotiate for better deals."

"Better deals?!" The Emperor shouted. "I gave him the best deal I could offer!"

"I don't think the Emperor of Xetas considered giving up his flesh and blood for you guys not killing him a great deal." Split replied. "Maybe you could reconsider the deal? There is always more to gain, then the alternative."

"And what do you propose child?" The Ohio Emperor asked.

"I'm sure the Emperor of Xetas would be happy to give up some of the Planet's rich resources for some of your powerful milita." Split answered. "Think about it, you two could create some powerful allies this way. If you give Xetas a portion of your milita, I'll be sure he'll give you a portion of Ohio's resoruces."

The Ohioan Emperor liked where this had been going, he put his chin on his two hands, and continued to listen.

"To make it more interesting, if you treaty up with the Frieza Force, I can assure you a bettter life for your planet, as long as you send another portion of that milita to the Frieza Force." Split added.

"Hmm, I will have to think about." The Emperor replied. "Come back to me in the morning, and I'll have your answer."

Split and his group returned to their pods, and camped out for the night.

"Hey Split, I thought you said we were just the messenger, not the negotiators." Gohan pointed out.

"I did, but sometimes you have to do more if circumstances force you to." Split replied. "Besides, I can already predict where this is going. If I'm right, Planet Ohio will realize they have enough powerful milita to attack the Planet of Xetas and take all of the resources for themselves."

"But if they do that, than they'll break the treaty!" Gohan said.

Split rolled his eyes. "Well duh, however it won't matter. Since we're technically apart of the Frieza Force, we'd have to defend Xetas over Ohio." He replied. "Frieza's milita is plenty powerful, the resources of Xetas is far more valueable than Ohio's military."

"Who's this Frieza guy you keep talking about?" Gohan asked.

"Someone you do NOT want to mess with." Split answered. "He's the embodiment of evil with the strength obliterate solar systems and solar systems with his finger tips."

Gohan gulped. "He has t-that k-kind of p-power!" He stuttered.

"Yes. He's too dangerous to deal with." Split replied. "Enough talking, I'm tired, let's go to sleep."

Gohan went to sleep, but felt strangely uncomfortable. He couldn't figure out why but something felt strangely eerie about this place. Of course, that could've been to the fact that there was fog everywhere.

Later in the night, Gohan heard rustling in the bushes. He felt several energy signatures nearby. Quietly the boy walked over to his leader.

"Split." He whispered. No response, Split just mumbled and turned to his side. "Split!"

Split opened his eyes. "Wh-What.. What?" He said.

"We're surrounded." Gohan whispered.

"What?" Split asked, still half asleep.

"I heard rustling in the bushes and felt eight different ki signatures." Gohan answered.

"What?!" Split said. He sat up immediately. "Everyone get up!"

"Oh no! They heard us!" One of the aliens whispered in the bushes.

"Get them!" Another alien shouted.

The group of five stood up and took their fighting stances. All eight aliens jumped towards the five, and attacked the group. Two threw themselves at Split, throwing several attacks, Split scarcely dodging each one.

He rammed his fist into one, and sent it rocketing across the landscape. The other came from behind Split and threw its three large claws at Split. Split leaped back and evaded the attack.

Split fired an energy blast against the other, the blast quickly consumed the monster.

Around the same time, Mimic finished off two of the other aliens, and helped Fu and Tago fight off the two they were fighting.

Gohan, on the other hand, was struggling to gain confidence. The two aliens that attack him, toyed with the boy in realization of this.

"Look at this kid! He ain't no fighter!" One teased. He kicked Gohan in the gut, but Gohan blocked the attack while still suffering mild damage.

"Yeah! They expect us to waste our energy for this!?" The other mocked. The two laughed at Gohan who frowned furiously in reponse.

"Aww look at him! He's angry!" The first provoked. Gohan clenched his fist and hurled it against the Alien, but the Alien dodged. "Ha! Pathetic!"

"What're you doing Split?! Aren't we going to help them?" Mimic asked.

"Nah, this is good experience, especially for Gohan." Split answered. "If anything goes wrong, we can step in, but otherwise just leave it."

Mimic sighed. "Alright fine..."

"Where did you learn those moves from, your mommy?!" The second one teased. Gohan growled viciously. "Oh did I strike a nerve?!"

"He must get that anger from his father!" The first one added.

"DON'T MAKE FUN OF MY PARENTS!" Gohan yelled. His power skyrocketed for a moment as Gohan launched his fist against the first alien's cheek. The second alien looked shocked.

"W-What the?!" The second alien gasped. "How could this little runt posses that much power!"

Gohan turned to the second alien who shook a bit in response. Gohan unleashed a blue wave of energy at him, but the second alien jumped and dodged.

"Ha! Mis-" The second alien was punched in the gut harshly then kicked in the face. He crashed against the boulders that lied around the planet.

In the meantime, Fu and Tago had swiftly took care of their opponents. Fu unleashed an energy punch against one, piercing it's stomach, and Tago released a yellow energy wave against the other, consuming the alien.

"Good Job guys!" Split said, clapping his hands. Gohan glared at Split. "What?"

"You watched but didn't help?!" Gohan snarled.

"No, you were fine. Besides why would I?" Split asked.

"They could've killed me!" Gohan answered.

Split rolled his eyes. "Feh! You were fine." He replied. "Besides, I wasn't going to let them. Suck it up and be quiet."

Gohan crossed his arms and huffed.

"Looks like we'll have to inform Xetas, and the training facility of our ambush." Split said. "I guess they really wanted to have war after all."

"Wait, Split, we can't be too sure that was ordered by the King." Mimic pointed out. "For all we could know, it could just be some rebellious citizens."

"I doubt that." Split replied.

"Yeah but we should be sure." Mimic said.

Split sighed. "Fine." He replied. "We'll go confront the Emperor about it, but in the morning, He's probably asleep."

The five resumed their sleep, and then crack of dawn came. They returned to the throne room.

"What'ssss thisssss? How have you returned sssso fassst?" The Emperor asked.

"We have not left yet Sire." Split answered. "Last Night we had a little ambush. You wouldn't happen to know anything about it."

The Emperor's gaze shifted. "No, I know nothing."

"Would you be okay with me checking the logo on the Guard's armor?" Split asked. "Because, I recall the men who ambushed us having a logo on it."

The Ohio Emperor's eyes broadened. "Damn it!" He thought. "GUARDS SEIZE THEM!"

"Got em." Split whispered. "Defend yourselves guys!"

Several guards charged after Split, and Split jumped up out of the way. The guards crashed into each other, and Split unleashed a powerful energy wave obliterating them all.

The battle didn't even last a minute and the group of five rapidly took down all of the guards in room down. The Emperor gaped in shock and horror.

"W-What the!?" He yelled. "You're just a bunch of children! How could you do that!"

"C'mon, did you really think the facility would send a group that wasn't strong enough?" Split replied. The Emperor growled with fury. "Now how about you come with us and make this easy."

"Never!" The Emperor shouted. His body quickly turned invisible and he escaped out of the window behind him, generating an energy blast to create smoke.

"Damn it! He got away!" Split shouted. "We'll never be able to find him now!"

"I can sense energy remember?" Gohan said. "I know where he is."

"Oh right." Split slapped his forehead. "Lead the way."

Gohan rushed out of the window and searched for the Emperor's ki. "This way!" Gohan shouted. The others followed along. They rushed through the city, and it's market place, with some guards chasing after them which were taken of quickly.

Eventually they had made it to a large river area.

"How the hell are they finding me!" The Emperor thought.

"Right there!" Gohan pointed. Split fired an energy blast that landed in front of the Emperor.

"Aah!" The Ohio Emperor shouted. He stopped and revealed himself by mistake.

"Got you!" Split smirked.

The Ohioan Emperor growled viciously. "You may have found me, but do you think you can stop me?!" He yelled. "I am much stronger than my guards! Just check those devices of yours!"

Split rolled his eyes as the Ohioan Emperor released his energy. He clicked the button on his device, and it read "275" at max.

"Oh no! You really are stronger than them!" Split said with a fake-scared tone.

"Hahaha! I told you!" The Emperor smirked.

"Too bad, I'm still stronger." Split replied. The Emperor's smirk dropped, and before he knew it, he was blacked out. "Piece of Cake!"

"So now what?" Gohan asked.

"Now we turn him into the facility, and inform The Xetas Emperor of the Ohio's demise." Split answered.

"But what if the rest of the inhabitants of the Ohio come after Xetas?" Gohan said.

"Not a problem at all. They already went against their agreement. Now Xetas has the support of the Frieza Force." Split replied. "Let's head back."

The five headed back to the pods, and Split pulled out a strange metal sphere out of his pocket. He threw it in the air and appeared another pod. Gohan looked with shock.

"Hey that's like the Capsules we had on Earth!" Gohan said.

"Capsules?" Split replied.

Gohan nodded. "Yeah, we'd store things like cars or airplanes in them." Gohan answered. "Or lots of food and water."

"Huh, I guess this technology is becoming pretty basic now." Split said.

Split stuck the unconscious Ohioan Emporer in this new pod.

"Wait what if he wakes up and tries to escape?" Gohan wondered.

"He couldn't. This ship is specially designed to go where my ship goes, and it has no controls." Split replied.

"Oh." Gohan said.

"We'll leave the next day." Split said. "I need a break from flying in the ships. I'll inform the Overseer of our current situation. You guys can do whatever... I don't really care."

Gohan spent the day hanging out with Fu and Tago, the two who were actually around his age.

"That's lame! Spending all day reading books!" Fu said.

"Yeah you didn't get to do anything fun?" Tago asked.

Gohan shook his head. "No, Mom wanted me to study so I can become a scholar and have good job when I grow up." He answered.

"Well she ain't here now, so let's have some fun!" Tago said.

"Like...How?" Gohan asked.

Fu and Tago frowned. "C'mon, you can't be serious can you?" Fu answered. Gohan shrugged. Fu sighed, and grabbed Gohan's arm. "Here we'll show you something really cool!"

The twins took Gohan to an area filled with giant boulders and rock. There was also a river running nearby.

"Stand here for a moment." Fu said.

Fu cut several boulders into quarters and halves, then placing them together. Tago did this as well, they stacked some of them together until it begun to look like a little fortress.

"What's that?" Gohan asked.

"It's a fort!" Tago answered.

"Cool isn't it!" Fu added.

"How are we supposed to have fun with that?" Gohan said. Fu and Tago sighed in frustration.

"Because Forts are fun and cool to make!" Tago replied.

"Yeah! Plus we can have make swords and stuff from the Trees, and have battles!" Fu added. "And we can destroy each others Forts!"

"But there's no Trees here, and why would we destroy the Forts after all the effort you put into it." Gohan pointed out.

"Because its fun!" Fu smiled. "C'mon just try it!"

"Okay..." Gohan sighed.

"First you gotta build a fort." Fu said.

"But you already built one?" Gohan replied.

"No! I mean build your own." Fu said. "Tago's building hers right now! It's no fun if we all use the same fort."

"Oh...but I don't know how." Gohan replied.

"Just do what we did and stack some boulders together." Fu said.

Gohan bit his lip and scratched the back of his head. He grabbed a few boulders and sliced them in half, and stacked them together.

"Like this?" Gohan asked.

"Yeah! Except you gotta do it more like you're gonna build some walls." Fu answered.

"Okay." Gohan replied. He took several more boulders and broke them down. "Hmm... I wonder..."

Gohan struck down several trees and cut them down into logs, while collecting some vines. He placed the logs in the corners of the stacked boulder walls, and used the tough vine to keep it held.

A few minutes later, his fort was complete.

"How's that?" Gohan asked.

"Woah! How'd you do that!" Fu said.

Gohan shrugged in response. Fu and Tago took a look inside of Gohan's fort.

"Oh man this is so much cooler than mine! It even has windows!" Tago said.

"So what now?" Gohan asked.

"Okay. Now we battle for dominance!" Fu smirked mischeviously. "But no using Ki."

"Why not?" Gohan replied.

"Because it'd be no fun that way! Any one of us could destroy our forts instantly that way!" Fu pointed out. "You should probably make some weapons too."

"Aw c'mon! I have to make weapons now?" Gohan whined.

"It's not that hard, you built a fort." Tago replied. "Plus, just use some of that vine and a strong branch to create a sword."

Gohan sighed deeply. "I don't see how this is fun but fine."

Gohan grabbed his vine, and looked around for a strong branch. After a few minutes, he found a big one, and struck it down to size. He created a hilt, a guard, and the blade. Gohan used the vines to wrap around the sword to weld it together.

He ran back to his fort. "Okay, I made a sword!" He shouted to the others.

"Okay good! Now just hold on a second!" Fu shouted. He finished up his sword, and just like Gohan's it looked super basic. It had a square hilt, square guard, and square blade. Tago as well had a basic sword.

Fu stepped outside his fort with his sword. "I, King of Fort Fu, declare war on other Forts!" Fu shouted.

"Wait what?!" Gohan said. "Declare War?! We're gonna fight?!"

"Well of course, what'd you think we were gonna do?" Tago asked.

"I don't know!" Gohan shrugged.

Fu and Tago let out a hopeless sigh.

"I don't even like fighting." Gohan replied.

"C'mon, It's not the same as our missions Gohan." Fu said.

"Yeah, We're just play fighting." Tago added.

"Fine..." Gohan replied.

The three attacked each other, swinging their swords from left to right, up and down. At first with Gohan struggling to have fun, but over time, he had begun to like it, at least until his fort was destroyed.

"Aw C'mon, i worked really hard on that." Gohan frowned. He lowered his head in defeat.

"You should've kept your guard up!" Tago said. Fu whacked Tago with his sword and then kicked her in the chest. "Ow!"

"You should take your own advice Tago!" Fu shouted. He put his tongue out her tauntingly. Tago chased after her brother, and Fu ran as fast as he could.

Eventually the night had fallen once again, and the three had exhausted himself.

"I told you it was fun." Fu said.

Gohan chuckled. "Okay, it was a little bit fun." He replied.

"We should probably head back now." Tago said. "Split might get mad if we're late."

The two boys nodded in response and the three took their time slowly walking away. On the way, Gohan noticed something that was strange.

"That's strange a shadow?" Gohan thought. "But It's night time, how do I have a shadow?"

Gohan turned around and looked into the sky. There stood a bright moon.

"Woah...The moon it's so...pretty..." Gohan thought. He continued to stare at intensely, every bone in his body would not let him move. His eyes then turned deep crimson red.

"Hey Gohan are you coming?!" Fu shouted. No response.

"Gohan?!" Tago said. The two ran up to the boy, and his face looked emotionlesss.

"THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!" Gohan's heart raced and pounded. His body shook, and the twins took a couple of steps back out of skepticism.

"Gohan? Hello? Are you okay?" Fu said.

Gohan's body expanded rapidly, and his pupils faded as his irises turned pure red. Gohan had begun to grow fur around his body.

"What the heck?!" Tago shouted.

"Let's go warn Split and Mimic!" Fu shouted. Tago nodded.

The twins rushed as fast as they could, as they got further and further away. Gohan had turned into what was a giant great ape. He rampaged and threw massive boulders all over the place.

Gohan stomped his way into the Kingdom of Ohio and crushed everything in his path.

"What the heck?" Split muttered.

"What's the matter Split?" Mimic asked.

Split scratched the side of his head and shrugged. "Something's wrong with my scouter, it's saying there's a powerlevel of over four thousand not far from here." He answered. "But that's impossible, there were no reports of anyone being anywhere near that strong on this planet."

Mimic picked up her scouter and turned it on. "I'm seeing it too, both of our scouters can't be malfunctioning can they?" She asked.

Split shrugged. "I'm not sure." He said. "We should check it out."

The two released their energy and floated up, beginning to fly off. They stopped when Fu and Tago arrived with distressed faces.

"Something's wrong with Gohan!" Tago said.

"What?!" Split gasped. "What do you mean?!"

"He turned into a giant ape and started rampaging!" Fu replied.

"What? How! When?!" Mimic said.

"When we were heading our way back, Gohan stopped and was staring into the moon." Tago explained. "We couldn't get him to stop!"

"The moon?" Split asked. The twins nodded. "Okay, you two and Mimic go try to stop Gohan. I've gotten an idea."

"What do you plan on doing?" Mimic said.

"Don't worry about it. If it works, I'll tell you, otherwise it's pointless to try and explain." Split answered. "Just hurry and go!"

The three rushed off to Gohan and tried distracting him.

"Goooohaaaann!" Fu and Tago shouted.

The Giant Ape stopped and turned his head to the two. He then threw his fists at the two, and they scarcely evaded him.

"He can't hear us!" Tago shouted to Mimic.

"Then just try to stall him!" Mimic replied. The twins nodded.

Fu flew to the right. "Over here!" He shouted. Gohan threw his fist at Fu and missed.

"Hey you stupid ape over here!" Tago yelled. Gohan threw his fist at Tago, but missed yet again.

From the behind Mimic kicked Gohan's neck, pushing the ape slightly but doing no damage. Gohan turned around and rammed his fist at Mimic, but missed. Mimic stretched her body to avoid the attack.

Fu fired several energy blasts at Gohan's lower body and the furious ape kicked Fu, and sent him plummeting to the ground.

"That's it, I'm transforming!" Fu shouted as he stood up.

"No Fu don't!" Mimic said.

Fu's body bulked up and his skin turned to a green color, along with his hair turning orange. His power as well had doubled. Tago followed along, and her body did the same. The two threw blasts at Gohan rapidly from different angles and sides.

Gohan tried to hit the two but kept missing.

"Damn it!" Mimic yelled. She followed along with the two, and eventually they made Gohan dizzy. He stumbled back and fell, but stood up shortly after.

Gohan unleashed a loud powerful roar, sending powerful winds at the three. They resisted the powerful winds, but then Gohan rammed his massive fist against Tago, and his knee at Fu.

The two couldn't move out of the way in time, their bodies were too strained to let them. Both were instantly knocked unconscious.

"HURRY UP SPLIT!" Mimic yelled.

"I'm hurrying!" Split growled. He gathered all the energy he could and create an green energy sphere.

"Dynasty Drive!" He shouted. Split unleashed a powerful green torrent of ki, aimed at the moon.

The moon exploded and disappeared, Gohan quickly detransformed, falling unconscious.

Mimic let out a sigh of relief. She rushed to Fu and Tago, and picked them up.

"Get Gohan, We gotta hurry back." Mimic said.

"Right." Split nodded. He picked up the young halfbreed, and the two headed back to their pods immediately.

Split checked to see if the Emperor was still stuck in the pod, and he was.

"Good." Split said. "Now to put the runt in his pod."

Split placed Gohan in his pod and then rushed to his pod. The five pods lifted up off the ground and blasted into the sky. They arrived back at the training facility within six hours, where Fu, Tago, and Gohan were placed in the medical bay.

Months Later...

Gohan walked outside, and found Split sitting down.

"Are you still mad?" Gohan asked.

Split sighed. "No, I'm not mad." He answered.

"You aren't going to punish me are you?" Gohan asked. Split laughed.

"No. I just got overworked. You're fine Gohan." Split replied.

Gohan smiled. "So I'm not in trouble anymore?"

Split shook his head. "Not at all. I've just been a little stressed is all."

"Oh." Gohan said. He got closer and quieter. "Is it because of our escape plan?"

Split nodded. "Yeah. Things aren't going as smoothly as planned, but I'm surely it'll work out in the end."

"Why? What's going wrong?" Gohan said.

"Some of the required supplies didn't come in like I hoped." Split answered. "They were very crucial to our plan, but I think if push comes to shove we can work without it."

"You sure?" Gohan asked.

"Yup." Split said. "I really shouldn't have gotten worked up on that mistake though. You've improved so much since your first mission. i think that outweighs it all."

"I mean...We didn't really do much on our first mission." Gohan replied. "We were just sending messenges between Kingdoms weren't we?"

"Yeah, but you were still struggling to get a hang of a few things like starting the ship?" Split pointed out. "That one was by far the eaisest thing to do."

Gohan frowned angrily and huffed. "It was not! The controls didn't make sense!" Gohan shouted.

Split chuckled. "There were two buttons. Gear Off, and Launch. The Co-ordinates were already set." He replied. Gohan growled at Split.

"Ah, Raditz! Glad to see you here." Duran said.

"Duran? Where's Swiss?" Raditz asked.

"Swiss hasn't been here in awhile. He had to do some errands." Duran answered.

"I see." Raditz replied. "Where's the boy?"

"He should be in his cabin right now." Duran said. "I can take you to him."

"No need." Raditz replied. "I can find him myself. I've managed to master a detection skill I picked up on Earth."

"Very well." Duran shrugged.

At the same time...

"Oh no..." Gohan said.

"What's the matter?" Split asked.

"We gotta go! Now!" Gohan answered. Split raised an eyebrow.

"What're you talking about." Split asked. "We can't just leave with mission approvals."

"No, my Uncle is here! We have to go." Gohan said.

"Okay, even if we left, we couldn't escape them Gohan, you know this already." Split replied.

"But if we don't leave n-..." Gohan paused. He felt chills go down his spine as he felt his Uncle's presence. Gohan hesitantly turned around in fright.

"Leave? Were you planning an escape?" Raditz smirked.
