Chapter 7
Talking To Zhongli
"Are you sure? What if he doesn't want to see me?" Starlight asked Xiao. The two were standing outside in the early hours of Liyue.
"Trust me. He'll want to see you." Xiao said.
"Okay." Starlight said, unsure still. She walks into Liuli Pavilion and saw inside a table with food and tea laid out. She saw someone already sitting there.
He looked up and saw Starlight standing there. He motioned for her to come sit.
Starlight walked over and sat down.
"Would you care for some tea? I hear it calms the mind." he spoke after a short silence.
"Oh! Yes, that would be lovely, thank you." Starlight said.
Starlight watched as the mysterious handsome man poured a cup of tea. He handed it the cup to her and Starlight gently grabbed it.
"I was told you needed to speak with me." he said calmly.
"Yes. I was hoping you can help me with this dream I'm having." she said.
"And what is this dream." he asked.
"Well, I dream about running away from someone. I try to look back but all I see is a golden glow and a weapon, maybe a polearm. It keeps landing in front of me, as if stopping me from running away."
"Dreams can be deceiving. They can mean many things."
"Also, I think I may be from Liyue." Starlight said, still unsure.
"Why would you say that?" he asked.
"Because of my Vision." Starlight said. She presented her Vision to him.
He leaned over and peered at the Vision closely. He saw that her Vision had the Geo sigil though instead of the usual golden color, it was the color purple.
"Interesting. Usually Geo Visions are golden-yellow. Yours appear to be purple." he said.
"Is that bad?" Starlight asked, slowly moving her arm back.
"No. It may mean that your power is quite the same but different."
"But I don't remember about my Vision. Or being from Liyue."
"Then being in Liyue may spark a memory or two."
"I hope so." Starlight said.
"Well, is there anything else you need to speak to me about."
"Oh! Um, no. That's all. Thank you for your time Mr..."
"Zhongli. I go by Zhongli." Zhongli said.
"Then thank you, Zhongli." Starlight said. She smiled at him and walked out of the room.
