This drama filled fanfic is almost over!
Woof. Mya and Kaitlyn are breathing over my shoulders right now (LOL)
So here is chapter 7!
Enjoy!
It's Complicated
Ryan kind of felt bad for cursing out Sharpay in front of everybody and then getting guilt tripped by her. He didn't know what to do. Maybe he should find Zeke. Yup. Gonna find Zeke.
He left the gym to go find him. He looked in the auditorium. No Zeke. He looked in the cafeteria. No Zeke. He looked in the office. No Zeke. After looking for a while, he found Zeke in the bathroom.
"Hey!" Ryan said. "Are you ok?"
"No." Zeke replied, staring at the sink in front of him.
"What's the matter?" Ryan asked. "Is it what just happened?"
Zeke sighed. "This is a mistake." He whispered.
"What's a mistake?"
"Us. We're the mistake." Zeke replied. "Nobody at this school understands, which means nobody will understand."
"Us?" Ryan repeated. "Zeke, we are not the mistake. It's ok if they don't understand, It only matters we do."
"If we just end this relationship now, everybody will calm down." Zeke continued. "It would be like none of this ever happened."
"But I wouldn't be happy." Ryan said. "I want to be with you Zeke."
"You'll forget about me as soon as high school is over." Zeke told him with his arms crossed.
"No I wont." Ryan got closer to Zeke. "I'll never forget you because I love you." He kissed Zeke's lips and hugged him.
Zeke hugged back. "I love you too." He whispered. "And I want to be with you also."
Ryan grabbed Zeke's hand. "We should be together."
"But everyone seems a little homophobic." Zeke pointed out.
"Love is love." Ryan said. "Gay, lesbian, bi, transgender, it doesn't matter. Love is about being with some one and knowing with that person is right where you need to be. And that's how I feel when I'm with you."
Zeke smiled at Ryan and squeezed his hand softly. "I didn't know you were a poet."
Ryan smiled back and kissed Zeke again.
Back at Prom...
When Ryan came back with Zeke, Sharpay and Kelsi grabbed them and pulled them to a corner. "Sharpay!" Ryan said. "I'm sorry that I-"
"No Ryan, I'm sorry." Sharpay interrupted. "You're right. I should have let you have Zeke in the first place. That was wrong of me to just have him around as I knew you like him." She turned to Zeke. "But I did really like you. I promise I did."
Zeke nodded. "Thanks."
Ryan looked at Sharpay. "So I can have Z-"
"He was never mine in the first place Ry." Sharpay said.
Ryan smiled at her. "Thanks Shar! I mean, Sharpay."
"Ugh, you can call me Shar again." Sharpay laughed.
Ryan hugged her, then turned to Zeke. "Let's go dance!" They ran on the dance floor and dance with each other.
Kelsi and Sharpay watched with smiles on their faces. "Well, guess we were gonna have to let them go sooner or later." Kelsi said.
Sharpay shrugged. "I kind of always had the idea Zeke was gay." She told her.
"Well, at least there is a good part in this."
"What's that?" Sharpay asked.
"While they're dancing together..." Kelsi blushed and put her hand out. "Maybe we can dance together."
Sharpay thought about it for a while, then took Kelsi's hand. "Why not? I deserve a dance after all this drama."
They went to the dance floor and danced right next to Zeke and Ryan. And just for tonight, all the drama was over.
For now at least...
Ok, ok, ok. Let's not ruin the happy scene. Everybody was happy and having fun. It turned out to be the perfect prom! (And it wasn't staged like the Spring Musicale!)
The is going to be a maximum of 3 or 4 chapters left!
Hope you're enjoying it!
Mya and Kaitlyn are saying how beautiful this chapter is.
Long live Zyan and Kelpay!
