A/N: It's been a while since I done one of these. Well hello everyone. I have a surprise for you below. Let's just say more love interests and comedy opportunities. This story will remain AOT majority of course. I just felt like changing the plot of the story. I'm not really one for a happy ending. We're gonna have a really depressing ending. I woke up earlier than the rest. I didn't know why honestly but being the only one awake in the morning gave me some kind of respite. I walked downstairs to make some coffee, only to see Levi making some tea. Guess I need to wake up earlier.
"Morning Levi" I said
"Hello (F/N)."
I waited until he was done before I made my own cup. I looked at my phone. It was 6:30 am. I had time before work.
I sat across from Levi. He didn't look towards me. I decided to strike up a conversation.
"Hey Levi, mind if I ask a question."
He stared up at me before nodding his head.
"What was the life in the underground like?"
"I thought you knew this stuff."
"Honestly, they never discussed your past much."
"I see...what do you know then?"
"hmmm, your mother Kuchel, Isabel and Farlan, Kenny. That's about it"
Levi took a sip of his tea before putting the cup down.
"Isabel and Farlan... It's been a while since I've heard those names."
"I'm sorry, if you don't wanna talk about it then no need."
"It's fine...They had simple dreams, like Armin and Eren. They just wanted to see the outside world. All of us did. Living in a giant tomb."
"..."
"My mother...she was kind, and beautiful, and heartwarming. I couldn't forget the sight of her dead in bed."
I never thought Levi could get this affectionate, then again, he's known for keeping everything inside of him.
"Kenny... I didn't know much about him, but he raised me. Despite leaving me alone, I am who I am today. I wonder whatever happened to him?"
I wanted to tell him the truth, but I knew it wasn't time, not yet.
I looked at my coffee and placed it on the table. I looked out of the window, and saw that the sun was still rising.
I could go for a run.
"Hey Levi." I said. Whatever he was thinking, I snapped him out of it. "Wanna go for a run with me?"
He smiled. I was shocked. "Nah I'm good." He got up and held his hand up for me. "(F/N), thanks for everything so far."
I shook his hand but I was still shocked. "Levi, are you ok?"
His normal face returned. "Don't tell anyone about this."
He went back upstairs.
I stood there for a bit before going outside to run.

I wiped the sweat off my brow. The sun was up and the summer heat was kicking in. I saw someone running towards me. The closer I looked the more I recognized the man. One of my few friends in highschool. John Magnum (Weird name, I know).
"Well, if it ain't Beavis" I shouted.
"Goddamn, the one and only Butthead." He stopped running and smiled.
John was about 5'10" , but had brown hair and green eyes. He was slightly bulkier than me but otherwise pretty in shape.
"How's the family? It's been a month or two since we last spoke." I asked.
"We couldn't be better. Magnum Opus sales are hitting through the roof." He smirked.
"Noice"
"What about the girls eh? Oh, and him too I guess." I smirked at him.
"Same ole same usual."
"What? None of em want a piece of that Magnum?"
"Chill out you ass." He was embarrassed before he looked down. "No, they still like him...well, except two of em."
"Damn, you know the deal though, if we still single by age 50." I stare him down in the eye before grabbing his shoulders.
"(F/N)..." He was blushing.
"Eyo, why the fuck you blushing dude. We rob a bank and burn down an orphanage. Did you forget creepy ass?"
"No homo bro, my socks on too"
"You were acting hella sus chief."
"AMO-"
I slapped him
"NO."
"Ow goddamit, at least restrain yourself."
My phone was ringing.
"Hello? Oh hey what's up dude... You want me to help you tutor them? Bro I got work."
John was staring at me while I rambled on with the caller.
"Alright fine, I'll help out for half an hour. You can come to my place."
"Was that who I think it was?" John asked
"Yup" I sighed. "Wanna bring em and hang out before work?"
"Sure, I don't mind."
Alright nice, I'll see you at my place then.

I opened the front door and walked in my house. Erwin and Levi were drinking tea, the rest were still asleep.
"Morning Erwin, hey again Levi."
"Good morning (F/N)." Erwin replied back.
Levi shook his head.
I closed the door and went up to my room.
I jumped in the shower to wash the sweat off and put on my work clothes afterwards.
I knocked on both rooms shouting to put their swim clothes on and prepare to leave in the next hour.
Going downstairs, someone rang the bell, Erwin opened the door and stared at the guest.
The guest shouted. "(F/N)! What the fuck!?"
'Ah shit, here we go again' I thought as I walked down to greet them.
"What's up John?"
"Don't what's up me. Why's he here?"
He pointed at Erwin.
"Long story, come on in."
He walked led by a boy with yellow eyes and black hair, followed by what I would probably consider the hottest sisters alive.
"Fuutarou, Nakano Sisters. How've you been."
"(F/N)!" Fuutaro smiled. "Thank for helping me.
"Yeah Yeah don't...mention it."
I had this weird feeling of deja vu. Actually, where did I meet these guys?
I've known John as a kid, but I can't recall the sisters or their tutor.
I pulled John to the side.
"John, where did these girls come from?" I questioned him
"You forgot man? They're our childhood friends" He laughed nervously.
"John don't bullshit me." I remembered something then. The stone statue. "Have you wished something about them to a statue. Particularly the one that looked like Angelo from JJBA?"
John's skin drained.
"How do you...?"
"I know cuz that's what happened here. That's why the AOT gang showed up in my house."
"WHAT!?" he shouted
"Shhhhhhhhh. Don't yell"
"It's been two days but I dunno why this happened. Maybe cuz I used the stone."
"Holy shit" John had a revelation.
"What's wrong."
"Go to your room really quick."
We ran upstairs leaving the others confused.
We searched my room until John found the proof he needed.
"Right here." John pulled out a few manga and two figurines.
"Those aren't the quintuplets." I said
"I know, that's the point. Look at the name of the manga."
I read the title. The Quintessential Quintuplets.
"What about it?" I said confused.
"Look at this." He said pulling out his phone.
He had a picture of him with the first volume of the manga from 2 years back.
"Wait that's..!"
"Itsuki!" We both said
We looked back at the manga. It was a different character all together. Name and appearance.
She walked in on us.
"Did you call me?" The youngest quintuplet asked.
"Have everyone meet in the living room now." I said sternly.
She nodded and ran downstairs, albeit confused.
--Downstairs--
"Is something wrong (F/N)." Eren asked. "Who are these guys."
"My friends but nevermind that. Everyone with the exception of this dumbass..." I pointed at John. He slapped my hand away as a sign to fuck off. "...is from an anime."
Everyone's eyes grew wide.
"What?" Fuutarou was shocked
"(F/N), I thought you said the rock disappeared." Hange ask confused.
"I knew I recognized them." Yotsuba spoke up.
"It did Hange, but this happened before you guys; however, that's not the problem." I looked at em all.
"Then what's wrong."
"Fuutarou, I believe that's what I heard." Armin asked him, "While walking with the sisters, did you guys happen to come upon something right before a bright flash?"
"We did."Miku spoke up.
"It was the most hideous thing." Nino told them. "Didn't even serve fountain water."
"As expected from the fashion moron." I shook my head.
Her response was grabbing the couch pillow and tossing it at me.
"John, where did you see the statue?" I asked.
"Up in the mountains, during summer of last year,"
"Big sis could be dumb but what's the issue? I don't get it." Ichika asked.
"I second that." Connie spoke up.
"The issue is this." I placed a figurine and a manga on the coffee table.
"You finally recognized your anime obsessions (F/N)... great." Itsuki laughed awkwardly.
"That ain't it schmuck. John your phone."
He pulled out his phone and placed it on the table.
Everyone came to take a look before being astonished.
Itsuki's sisters looked at her and then back at the phone then the book and figurine.
"I still don't see the problem." Ichika said.
"Oh my fu... Fuutarou, we're burning their brains with studies tomorrow." I said while rubbing my face
"Y E S". He smiled with a thumbs up.
"Anyways..." John said,
"You guys were replaced." I looked at the cast of the manga.
"What do you mean replaced?" Erwin spoke up.
"Simply put. They ceased to exist in the story and have joined the real world. Thus being replaced in their own content and people's memories."
"How'd you remember though?" Fuutarou asked.
"I used the statue myself a few days back, and brought these guys here." I pointed at the aot cast.
"So it triggered something in you that caused your memories to return... I see." Fuutarou nodded while thinking,
"As expected of the ace student."
"Oi, oi, oi. Hold on a sec" Levi held his hand up. "What does this mean for us?"
I pulled out an AOT manga volume.
"Take a look for yourselves."
The manga cover showed the main cast, although it was glitched out.
"We're being replaced?" Mikasa spoke up.
Everyone was in disbelief.
The mood grew dark. I swallowed the tension in my throat.
Then Jean threw a punch at me, hitting me square in the nose.
I fell on the ground. The boys were restraining Jean.
"YOU BASTARD! WHAT DID YOU DO!? WHAT ABOUT MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!? ARE THEY GOING TO DISAPPEAR YOU SELFISH FUCK!?"
I was shocked but then angered. I wiped some blood off even though it still poured.
"Selfish? You think I wanted any of this shit? I didn't know shit about that statue. We live in a place where magic didn't really exist. How was I supposed to know what would happen. I didn't even realize the quintuplets were like you until recently."
"THAT DOESN'T EXCUSE IT YOU SON OF A BITCH."
My anger spiked up.
"Insulting me, assaulting me. Doesn't matter." I said.
John knew what was going to happen. But he couldn't stop it alone.
He ran over to the officers and told em.
Realizing what would happen, they ran towards me
It was too late.
I had already punched Jean back.
"DON'T YOU EVER THINK INSULTING MY PARENTS IS SOMETHING I ALLOW. I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE. I'LL BEAT YOUR ASS."
The officers restrained me as well as the Fuutarou and John. The girls from both side watched in awe.
"I'LL DO WHATEVER I WANT YOU SICK FUCK."
"THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS."
Levi then knocked both of us out with one hit.
I don't know how much time passed but I knew I missed my shift.
I woke up with my body on the floor. I looked around to accustom to my surroundings. I remembered it all.
My head felt like it was frying itself.
My body ached.
Everything felt dizzy.
I got up after stumbling a few times before falling on the couch.
My legs were numb but were coming to.
No one was around. My phone was on the table.
I looked at it to see a message from John.
John: Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush.
John: I'm kidding. We're upstairs. All of us. Come when you're ready.
I wasn't going up. I opened my backdoor to the backyard and hopped over the fence into the forest. There... it was there that I could focus
Running away from problems. It's what I did best. God, I hated myself more than ever.
I was confident someone saw me because I heard shuffling.
I kept running and running until I reached the place. My sanctuary,
There was a river passing through here. A cave was on the side of it. There it was.
I jumped in the river and swam to the cave.
The river wasn't harsh, so I could swim in it.
I entered the cave.
I renovated it over time and still was doing so. For now it had a small waterfall I built which came from a very small stream up hill and it took forever to make, a wooden bench, which was a hassle to get the equipment in here without getting it wet, and some drinks placed in the cold water. It was kinda dark but relaxing. I knew my worries could be taken away here, or so I thought.
Jean was right. I summoned them here. It's my fault that they're being replaced. Everyone they knew might be removed from existence, and once again, the burden of it being carried by me alone.
crunch* *crunch*
Footsteps? They're probably nearby. I doubt they'll find this place... unless it's... shit no...
Someone jumped in the water and surfaced.
"You expected some hot girl to comfort you, but it was me, ACE!" He said as he climbed in the cave

"I'm leaving" I said as I got up.
"No you ain't." He said pushing me back down on the bench before sitting next to me. "I knew something was off when you didn't show up for work. I pretended to be on a call with you and told your boss someone broke in your house so you had to stick back with the cops."
"Isn't that a bit too much?" I asked
"Who knows? What I do know is that my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Minako would second that. Cringe ass nae nae baby."
"Sorry bout that."
He stared at me before closing his eyes.
"Depression doesn't suit you y'know. That's my thing."
"Sorry" I said again
"If you don't stop saying sorry, I'm going to reveal your deepest secrets to everyone."
I looked at him and just nodded.
"Bruh, you're a pain. Alright, tell big bro Ace what's wrong."
I recalled the entire story to him while he listened in silence.
"Long story short" he asked me "is that you regret what you did and agree with Jean."
"I guess so."
"None of that I guess bullshit. Yes or no"
"Yes" I sighed.
"ALRIGHT GUYS" he shouted "COME ON DOWN"
I looked out of the cave to see people jump in the water.
They all surfaced and entered the cave. The AOT crew as always. John was there too
"Of course you had your phone open." I smirked to Ace.
He held it up.
"With the 6 phone users of course. Hehehe."
"Screw your waterproof phone."
"I take offense to that y'know. We have the same phone." John spoke aloud
"You deserve it more for that sloppy Skyrim shit you messaged me"
"What do you mean sloppy. You have offended Skyrim and it's people. What have you say to that?" He picked up a stick and pretended to unsheathe it
"O mercy good sire." I got down on my knees and clasped my hands.
We were all laughing.
Eren pushed Jean forward.
"Don't push damn you." He cursed the shifter off.
He walked towards me as I got up and brushed my knees from the dirt.
"(F/N), I'm sorry. I got too aggressive with you. It's not your fault alone. We went to the temple too. Plus your friend John explained the plot and remaining characters remained the same. It's just us that's being replaced."
I looked at John and he nodded.
"I'm sure if we find a way back, it'll be ok. Until then, let's be friends." He said holding his hand out.
I looked at it then back at him. Tension filled the air.
I made a tch noise and slapped it away.
Everyone was worried, until I pulled Jean in a hug.
"Hugs are for bigger men. We are no weaklings to shake hands." I said slapping his back.
Everyone was laughing.
Except Levi.
"Weaklings?" He asked. "I suppose that means I am one."
Oh fuck. I shook his hand this morning.
"Levi, bossman, I didn't really mean it. It's just for the moment."
"Uh huh, just like my foot going up your ass is gonna be a special moment."
"Kinky" Ace stated
Everyone stared at Ace.
"Don't mind me."
I walked towards the back and he walked towards me.
"Levi no." I said
"Levi yes." He said back.
My back was pinned against the wall, well, the waterfall.
5 people were holding him back, sadly, he was still advancing.
"(F/N)! Dash past him!" Reiner shouted.
I heeded his advice and jumped out into the river, but I saw a shadow above me.
"WAAAAAAAH!"
It landed on me. God, I've been injured these past 2 days more than I have in the past 17 years of my life.
My whole body was in pain. I resurfaced with the figure.
It was Itsuki who landed on me
"Goddammit, I knew it. There was only one person who's heavy enough to land on me and make me hit the bottom."
"I'm not fat! You shouldn't talk about a woman's weight either!" She said attempting to drown me.
"Well, maybe I wouldn't if you didn't eat every damn thing you see. *COUGH COUGH*" I was coughing up the water.
"I DON'T EAT EVERY... Is that a fish?" She questioned pointing at the figure in the water.
"No there aren't any in this river."
"(F/N), SWIM AWAY, HE'S IN THE WATER." Connie shouted.
"WhaAAAAAAAJLBGJHGUOEFIOJ"
"He's a goner isn't he?" John asked
"Yep"?
I resurfaced very briefly.
"HELPAPFOEJFQOJWOWG" I screamed before being dragged down.
More splashes appeared.
"Eh he'll figure it out." Minako said
"How long would you give him" Nino asked
"Probably 5 minutes" Fuutarou said
The entire AOT crew jumped in the water.
"Well we're all here anyways." Jean said.
"True, we had our swimsuits on." Erwin followed.
"WHAT'RE WE WAITING FOR!? LET'S GET IT ON!" Reiner shouted
Everyone shouted in response.
While both anime casts along with my real friends got to know each other better and play. I was being drowned and attacked by Levi.
This day couldn't get any worse, or so I thought.
I barely managed to avoid Levi when I bumped into someone.
"Itsuki! Thank God!" I grabbed the redhead by her shoulders. "You gotta help me!"
She smiled menacingly.
"Remember when you mocked me for being heavy?"
"Itsuki no" I said
"Itsuki yes" she answered.
Someone slowly rose behind me.
I knew who it was, I didn't need to turn.
"Levi NO!"
"Levi YES!"
The two dragged me back down and swam off while I struggled.
The rest stared before going back to do their own thing.
Stupid anime characters. Stupid stone. Stupid weird magical powers. Everything is stupid. On God.
