Here we have chapter 8 with some funny moments between the parents and a preparation of a good fight for Inko, we will see how strong she really is. Enjoy the chapter.
The morning in the Midoriya residence was, as usual, Hisashi waking up early to prepare breakfast and Izuku lunch ready making sure everything was in order so they could go work without worrying. Inko and Izuku were awake and were already eating.
"Dad! Can I ask you something?" He was already planning to ask this since yesterday, but he was too tired.
"Sure son, what is it? Do you have doubts about the legend?" He then sees Izuku nodding no.
"If i create a weapon with Emiya legend, can i use another legend to enchant the weapon? Like using fire magic in the blades of chaos?" He then hears his parent's forks hitting the floor.
"I-Izuku? Who told you that?" His mother had a surprised expression on her face.
"Mei told me yesterday that if i can use more than one legend at a time i could create weapons with Emiya legend and then use a legend that can cast magic to improve the weapons." He then sees his parent's eyes widen more.
Hisashi then creates the blades of chaos in his hands and starts chanting something that Izuku didn't understand, then a fire started to spin around the blades. Inko and Izuku were really surprised at that.
"F-Fire? Dear, you are using fire?" How is that possible? Inko saw her husband trying to make this before, what changed now? "You couldn't use before, what changed now?"
"I used Senji Muramasa and Merlin legends, since Muramasa was a legendary blacksmith and Merlin was the best Wizard besides Solomon i thought it could work." He was smiling so much that even Inko was surprised, he then looks at Izuku with a big smile on his face."Izuku, tell Mei that i will buy any part she needs to build her machines, i never even thought about this possibility."
"We were so focused on trying to create them with the magic already on them that we forgot about using other legends to enchant!" Inko looks at her husband that then absorbs the weapon again."This can open so many possibilities."
"I will tell her dad. I want to finish mastering Emiya legend before i start doing this. Can you give me some tips to use Rho Aias?" Izuku was happy that Mei could help his father, but he couldn't lose his objective.
"Sure, Rho Aias isn't exactly a shield but the whole concept of defense. Emiya found the shield and added it to his noble phantasm but you must know that even he couldn't handle the full power of the shield." He then gave Izuku a serious look"This shield has a price to be used, it may hurt the user if he is not careful. Try to imagine a flower, each petal is a layer of the shield. There are seven in total."
"Why petals? I know the shield original owner was someone else, but Emiya legend didn't have many details about it." He then tries to remember anything that could help but nothing came to mind.
"The original owner of the shield was Aias the Great. He was a hero who fought alongside Achilles in the Trojan War. His shield Rho Aias was capable of stopping the javelin of the great hero of Troy, Hector. After Achilles died, he tried to get his divine armor but Odysseus with Athena's helps got the armor. He then got crazy and started killing the herds, thinking it was those who denied him the armor, when he became sane again, he killed himself in shame. In the place of his corpse it was born a beautiful red flower" That was another sad story, people often forget that rarely the legends have happy endings.
He put his finger in his chin thinking."I don't know much about him neither since i could use the shield because of Emiya legend, but i guess is more like Kanshou and Bakuya. We don't know the whole legend of the blacksmith but we can use his weapons since Emiya already had them."
"I see, so how i use it? I am glad you told me all that, but how can a flower help me?" He was happy about the little history lesson, but Hisashi didn't answer his question about how to use it.
" The flower is the key, she is the projection that symbolizes his shield and his death. Try put your hand in front of you and imagine a shield in front of you." Izuku then does as he was told and takes deep breaths. "The key is to imagine that you want to protect someone you love."
He closed his eyes and started to imagine a red flower, he then feels like something was pulling his arm."Rho Aias!" he then feels the energy in the palm of his hand, when he opens his eyes he sees a single purple circle in front of him with a petal in the center."I-I did it? Cool! I can use it! Dad, mom i did it!" He was smiling, happy that he made it.
Inko and Hisashi weren't surprised at this point, Izuku didn't stop training since he got his quirk and he is reading Emiya legends non-stop too."Yes, you did it, son. You made one petal, you only have six more to do, but they will be harder at each petal." Hisashi sees his son progress and feels pride about how much he improved in such a short time, his friends helping him is making things even better.
"You are doing so well Izuku, i think you deserve a reward for your efforts. I will buy the new All might hoodie for you." She then sees Izuku eyes bright like the sun and Hisashi with a little pout on his face.
"Really? Thank you, mom!" His smile was already enough to make her happy.
"All right, go brush your teeth and we will get ready to work." He was still pouting, he knows that he was stronger than All might even being an underground hero, but his son's admiration for Toshinori hurt his ego a little.
After some time Izuku sends a message in the group chat telling everything his father told him, including the Aias legend and his promise to Mei, five minutes later he got a list full of parts Mei wanted his father to buy. His friends were impressed by the news and were already sending videos of various weapons they saw.
After his friend's parents came to bring them to train, Izuku decided to ask them to attack him so he could train using Rho Aias to protect himself. That training helped everyone, Katsumi was making bigger explosions, Neito could copy quirks for longer now, Mei was getting good at hitting moving targets, Melissa was getting more stamina and Izuku was learning to use his quirk in combat.

"Really? Can use magic in the weapons? I thought it was impossible?" Mirai Sasaki is also known as Sir Nighteye was a tall, lean-but-muscular man with rather sharp and elongated features. His shiny hair was always worn smoothed down and parted to his left, and was dark green, with three yellow streaks towards the front, two on his right, and one on his left. His eyebrows were also yellowish, matching the rims of the triangular glasses he wore and the strikingly bright-yellow irises of his stern-looking eyes.
"Yeah, i am surprised too Hisashi, thanks by the way for promising to buy those things for my daughter. Now i will have to deal with her asking when she will get them." James woke up this morning with his daughter's scream of happiness. His wife destroyed the door of her room thinking some villain was attacking.
"Next time you want to do something like that at least do it in person." Samantha was laughing now, but she was really worried about hearing her daughter scream.
"Hisashi, i would like to study the magic in the weapons if possible, i may be able to make some new types of equipment if i see them with my own eyes." David was excited to explore the possibility of reproducing them. He may not believe in 'magic' exactly, but after meeting Hisashi and seeing some weapons from legends? He would be crazy to pass the opportunity to study.
"We completely forgot about using other legends to enchant the weapons." Mitsuki was impressed that the Hatsume girl thought of that. Sure Hisashi could only start using his quirk when he was older than Izuku, so some things they wouldn't be able to think at that time.
"I know, i guess isn't only Izuku that is learning something with the other kids. Isn't that right dear?" Everyone look at Hisashi and Inko couldn't stop laughing at her husband pouting. He was like Izuku when she said that she ate his All might cookies."Stop that, it is your fault for hiding your powers." She knows that he had a reason, but she wouldn't miss the chance of teasing her husband.
"HAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe it! the strongest of us is acting like a child." Toshinori likes Hisashi a lot, but not even him could resist teasing his friend."Inko i have an idea." Everyone then looks at the symbol of peace."How about i go to your house this weekend to meet the kids? Since i have the day off, we could all have barbeque together."
"That would be amazing Toshi. The kids would be even more motivated to train if you gave them an emotional speech." Inko can already see her son's face when he sees All might.
"No! You can't! If you go there even once, Izuku will want to meet you more often and he will forget about me." his answer was met with silence. Absolute silence. Then everyone started laughing loud.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! I-I can't believe that dear, you are worried about Izuku forgetting about you?" Their laugher got louder and louder and his face was beet red.
"Come on Hisashi, really?" Mirai was usually a serious person, but even he could stop laughing at this immature behavior.
"Is not funny." He mumbles while everyone starts to calm down."You said you had something important to tell us Toshi, what is it?"
"Well, i talked with him about Izuku and Melissa going to his dojo for a visit." At that moment everyone took a step back from Inko. Her sadistic grin came at the mention of that."He said that you guys could go tomorrow, he was really happy to fight you again Inko. He said that you shouldn't worry about holding back since his dojo was made to hold even a battle between me and Hisashi."
"Oh? I wasn't planning to hold back, I hope he married a medic. He will need one" She then snaps her fingers and everyone shudder.
"I see you are as excited as he was when i told him that you wanted to fight him again, you should go with young Izuku and David could go with young Melissa." Toshinori won't tell them that he was going there too. If Hisashi knew that, he wouldn't let Izuku go.
"That is good and all, but we need to work. People need to be saved, villains need to be defeated and you guys need to build your things. Let's work everyone." Samantha said rushing everyone to work.
"You are right dear, thanks to Hisashi, our daughter is hyped now and i doubt she will just wait quietly for the parts." James was going to work with David and Mitsuki today on a new project the will show to the public soon.
After teasing Hisashi for a few more minutes they went to work, the patrols were calm most of the time. Most villains are too afraid of facing All might to act in the middle of the day.

"Now i got you Icchan!" Katsumi screamed while jumping at Izuku while he was fighting Neito. She uses her quirk to try to get him, but Melissa came and attacked her. "Ouch! What the hell Glasses?" She then looks at Melissa that was smirking.
"You should expect someone to be a traitor too Katsumi." Everyone then looks at her like she was mental."What? I saw that on tv yesterday, some heroes becoming villains and some villains becoming heroes." She was starting to get embarrassed.
"I saw that yesterday too, we are just surprised. If one of us was going to become a villain, that would be Katsumi." Neito made everyone laugh at that.
"What the- that is not funny Copycat!" Everyone laughed at her angry expression."Guys, stop laughing." But that only made them laugh louder.
"I can see popcorn girl becoming a villain." Mei then starts acting like she was Katsumi."I will explode everything, but not because i like it or anything, but because i am the tsundere villain Kacchan!" Melissa was on the ground holding her stomach, everyone was laughing so much now.
"I hate you guys, Icchan stop laughing." She was beet red now that Izuku was being the loudest of them.
"S-Sorry Kacchan! But that is funny." He then continues to laugh, usually, she teased him so it was a good change."How about we go free-for-all? That way we will have to think fast and will have to adapt fighting multiple enemies."
"I like that idea Izuku, after that we can go play a little more Doom before our parents come back." Mei would like to practice with multiple targets, they then went back to training a little more.
They trained for another hour and they learned a lot about adapting their styles in combat, they also learned to expect being attacked from every direction since they didn't know who would attack them.
After the training, the girls went to take a bath while Izuku and Neito got snacks and prepared everything so they could play more.
"Izuku!" Neito said quietly and Izuku looks at him."Do you really think I can be a hero with my quirk? I know you guys said i could do it, but i can't stop thinking about that sometimes."
"Melissa is training even without a quirk, she will make support gear for herself and other heroes." He then looks at Neito with a serious expression."You can be a great hero, we will help you do that." He then smiles at his friend."Besides, if you try to give up now, Kacchan will beat you for training with her quirk all this time just to give up."
"Yeah, she would get mad at me." He then looks at Izuku ad smile."Thanks, Izuku, I needed that."
"Any time, we are all friends right?" He then finishes putting the snacks on the table.
"Yeah, we are. We will become amazing heroes, maybe even legends." He looks at his friend smiling.
The girls then open the door while they finish drying their hairs.
"You guys can go now, we will be waiting," Melissa said while finishing dry her hair, she was without her glasses which was something that Izuku and Neito always thought it was nice.
"Okay, let's go Neito." He then starts walking to the door, but turns around and looks at them"Don't eat everything while we are there." The girls just rolled their eyes while Neito laughed.
After Izuku and Neito took a bath, everyone started playing again. They were already finishing the game so they saw every weapon.
"I swear to you guys, I will make a BFG to me before the entrance exam of UA" Mei was excited every time she saw the weapon."Maybe I will make that ballista too!"
"Well, i liked the weapon uncle Hisashi told us, the Lancer mark II looks cool, maybe i can build some mechanic arms so i can use multiple weapons at the same time." She was smiling just thinking about the possibility.
"I think the XL2 Lasergun I found online is cool too, by the way, Icchan, my mom bought the game with that weapon. I will bring when is my turn to choose." She has a massive grin on her face.
" I admit those guns are cool, but we must keep the classics too, 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun. Simple, elegant, powerful, a classic in any movie or game." He then points to the screen."Even Doom have a good shotgun of his own." They agree that a shotgun is indeed simple yet powerful."And you Izuku? Which gun you think is the coolest?"
"I like melee weapons more, i saw some cool swords online. When i finish mastering the legend i may try making some weapons of my own." He can use some blacksmith legend to try to create new weapons so he can't wait to try.
They played some more and after some time, their parents came back leaving the Midoriyas in the house to rest.
"Izuku i have to tell you something." He then looks at his mother wondering if it was the All Might hoodie she promised."Tomorrow you and i will go visit an old friend with Melissa and David." He was confused, who was that friend?
"Who is it, mom?" She then just smile and put her hand on his head.
"It is a friend that runs a dojo, i want to see if you like it. If you do, both of you can start training there to learn martial arts." His eyes widened after hearing that.
"That is so cool mom, i can't wait." He had a big smile on his face.
Hisashi then serves the dinner and they ate while talking about what they did that day. They then went to bed, Izuku sleeping soundly while Inko was looking at Hisashi like she was some kind of predator.
"So dear, i know i will have plenty of fun tomorrow." He then looks nervously at her."But i think that i might need to burn some energy before being able to sleep!" Her smile was nothing like the sweet mother and wife he usually sees.
"I-I-Inko, I know how you get when you have a chance to go all out, but please, i have to work tomorrow." She then sits on his lap and looks at him in the eyes, then she grabs both his hands and puts them above his head.
"Don't worry dear." She then goes near his ear and whispers softly."The safety word is banana." That's when Hisashi notice the handcuffs locking him in the bed.
"O-Okay. C-C-Can i at least put a sound barrier? just to be safe?" She then nods and he chants the magic and the barrier was up.'I hate you Toshi!' that was the last clear thought he had that night. The next day, many were wondering why Hisashi was walking like a ghost, he looked like his soul was sucked from his body.
