Clint's POV:

The candles were admitting a soft glow that gave a sense of peace and calm throughout the area. There was a beautiful arch covered in roses that gave a fragrant scent into the air, at the end of the aisle. Soft instrumental music played from the small orchestra set up near the door to the garden. Clint was kneeling at the arch on the pillows that would be used during the ceremony. Honestly, he had no idea what sort of custom that was but considering the fact that the wedding was not originally planned for him he was just fortunate that the Bednarski family were not practicing Jews. He sighed as he tilted his head back to look at the stars, he felt his head brush the gun that was trained on him. Did they really think that Clint couldn't disarm them? Just because he was handcuffed did not mean he was incapacitated. He sighed again; Clint knew that Ableardo would actually kill the kid if he did not go along with the wedding.

Clint had absolutely no desire to get married, in fact he had hoped to never meet his soulmate in the first place. With the life he has lived, and his chosen profession Clint had made many enemies that would not hesitate to attack him or anyone relatively close to him. Because of this he knew for a fact that the bastard of an alpha would not hesitate to carry through with his threat on the young omega.

Clint straightened once he heard the music started, he started to turn his head but stopped when he felt the gun shift, warning him not to move. The girl methodically made her way up the aisle and kneeled on the pillow next to him. He could smell her rolling emotions from fear, hurt, anger, and confusion. He could also smell the tears that she had shed before this, he suppressed the sudden urge to comfort her. He glanced at her and silently cursed Ablerado to every level of Hell that there was and then some. She was just a scared little kid who was just unfortunate enough to be his soulmate. He glared at Ablerado who gave him a smug smirk as the pastor droned on. If Clint ever wished for a mutation or superpower, it would be the ability to smite people at will with his gaze.

His attention was drawn back as the ceremony reached its climax. "If the Omega's guardian would please come up we will commence the Blood-Oath." The elderly pastor stated, "remove the alpha's shirt." The two guards standing behind Clint came for word and forced his shirt off, of course this meant that they just tore it because Clint was still cuffed. As this occurred, Ablerado rose and approached the couple. The man was handed a knife to slice his hand and was instructed to utter his oath. Ablerado meticulously slit his palm and spoke, "I Ablerado Bednarski, Alpha protector and provider of this omega, do relinquish my right to her to my fellow alpha and equal as reward for saving the life of my pack and I. This I do swear upon my honor as an alpha and the Law, so mote it be!" As he spoke, the elder drew a brush and dipped it in Ablerado's blood. He then painted symbols upon Clint's shoulders and forearms with the blood. Once that was completed, Ablerado took off his own shirt while Clint was uncuffed and handed the knife. For a moment Clint just stared at it and then at Ablerado. The man merely looked at him and glanced up at the back of the aisle. Clint followed his gaze and focused on the man who had a gun trained on the girl. The meaning was quite clear, try to escape and she will die. Clint sighed and quickly sliced his own hand. "I Alpha Clint Barton, do accept this Omega as payment for my deeds in helping my fellow alpha's pack. I do claim the title of protector and provided to this Omega to the best of my abilities. This I swear upon my honor as an alpha and the Law, so mote it be." He finished as he scowled. He could feel the Oath taking hold as the Blood seemed to burn and etch its way into his skin.

"As an elder, I recognize this Oath and declare it Legal." The man declared. "Now we shall commence with the Blood-Mating of these two souls." Clint looked up in shock, Blood-Mating was the oldest practice of joining two people together. Mating was considered outdated because it forced the person to stay mated for all eternity. While Blood-Mating went beyond that, it bound the two people together in such a way they would not be able to have a romantic relationship with anyone other than their mate. It literally caused bodily pain, it also bound the couple's souls together in such a way that some were capable of communicating telepathically with each other. Of course, that was not the major issue with it, the Blood-Mating was designed in such a way that it gave the person with the higher standing almost complete control of the other. If they were indeed forced to complete this bonding, then that would remove any free decision making this girl would have. Clint snarled and lunged forward; he may be forced to marry this girl but there was no way he would take away her freewill if he can help it. Unfortunately, as soon as he moved the girl let out a sharp yelp. He turned, there holding a gun to the girl's head was one of Alberado's henchmen. He grinned at him and licked his lips as he let his glanced over her chest. Alberado's warning from earlier came back to Clint full clarity and he could feel his instincts start to take over as he growled. How dare this lowly beta even think of touching his omega! She is not my omega!

Before he could decide on what he should do she spoke, "Hey, it sucks I hate this but just do it. We both know that it will be no worse than if we refused." her words calmed him, and he focused on her face to make sure. She gave him a small nod. Clint slumped as he raised his palm again for the elder to use his blood and mark a symbol on the side of her neck, right where it met her shoulder. The girl also slit her own hand with a small flinch at the pain for the elder to do the same to Clint. After her blood was used, she proclaimed "I Omega Darcy Lewis, do give myself and submit to the rule and protection of the Alpha Clint Barton. This I swear upon the Law, so mote it be." Once she was finished, she then bit down upon the blood mark on his neck.

Raging fire seemed to tear its way through Clint's veins as the girl's blood entered his system. He could hear his instincts howling in joy and satisfaction as the omega bound her soul to him. He shook himself out of his daze quickly when the girl drew back. Then it was his turn, "I Alpha Clint Barton, do accept the submission of Omega Darcy Lewis and swear to protect and cherish her. This I do swear upon my honor as an alpha and the Law, so mote it be." He then leaned forward, he could smell her intoxicating scent, hear her quivering heart. He quickly bit down before he lost complete control of his inner beast. He could feel some of himself enter in with the girl and battle for its dominance.

"I recognize this mating as Lawful, and as the power invested in me, I pronounce them husband and wife."

As soon as the man finished speaking Clint and Darcy were pulled to their feet and dragged back into the hotel. They were then shoved into a large opulent room that was obviously designed for a couple. Ablerado looked at them and spoke, "Now I do not wish to keep such an obviously happy young couple in love away from each other," ignoring the death glares he received from both of them. "I am merely wishing you a happy wedding night and that I will see you in the morning to make sure you know what being part of this family means." He finished with a feral smile. The door let out a dull thunk as it shut behind him, leaving Clint with his new bride.
