I dont know why im scared of updating this fic.
Marinette seemed nervous around him as always. She stuttered on her words. She dropped some of the supplies. Adrien couldn't help but think that it was his fault/
Yet there was some strange calmness around her. She was making actual conversations . Not just random compliments she takes back. Actual jokes.
Adrien was happy. He felt perhaps he and Marinette could finally be closer friends.
Adrien thought perhaps he should bring the topic of Felix to another person. Just to test out the subject more. Nino had been a bit upset. Marinette was a reaction he was curious to actually see.
"My cousin Felix is coming to visit again." Adrien quickly said. He stared at his notebook. He answered questions quickly thanks to hours of home studies.
Marinette paused. As though she was stuck in a memory. Then shook herself out of a memory.
"That's great but isn't he kinda - not that I mean he's horrible - he's uh! Is he gonna be around Paris. Not that I just."
Marinette didn't know how to react. Expected. She didn't seem to like Felix like everyone else. Adrien wanted to defend his cousin. As the memory of the recent text conversation they had stuck to him. The Felix he wanted his friends to see.
"I'm sorry for what he did. He's sorry also. It's just. What do you think about a second chance? Nino gave me the idea of inviting him to the Kitty Section concert." Adrien said.
Marinette rapidly blinked.
"As long as he doesn't mess with everyone again. I guess he can come. Not that I control him. Or anyone. I would never. Unless maybe someone. Just." Marinette put her head down on the desk. Breathing hard.
"Are you okay?" Adrien asked..
"I'm okay. It's just that I'm scared of someone getting akumatized after so long without one." Marinette admitted.
Adrien nodded. Though a selfish part of him hoped someone would get akumatized soon. To see Ladybug once more. As long as it wasn't Felix fault of course.
"I can ask him to not come. You seem really uncomfortable with him. "
Marinette lifted her head.
"It's okay. It's just that we better tell everyone who's going to the mini concert so they don't foam from the mouth like me."
They laughed at the joke. Then finished the last few questions together. Marinette's answer seemed much more detailed and thought out then his own . Which may have saved Adrien from getting six questions wrong.. The finishing score was a one hundred.
Adrien hugged Marinette in happiness. Now he didn't have to worry about his father scolding. The extra credit would raise his grade. Marinette didn't stutter at all. Hugging him too. Though she did linger linger on the hug. An sniffed his hair a bit. Adrien hoped he didn't smell like cheese.
It always strangles having a similar appearance to his cousin. Practically twins. Felix's hair had gotten longer. Adrien considered how he would look with long hair. .
His aunt had dropped Felix. Gabriel had an awkward stare down with his aunt and cousin. Gabriel took note of the stolen ring. Amelie and Felix played innocence.
"They will go where they originally belonged to." Amelie smiled.
Gabriel turned red. He walked out of the room.
Amelie huffed. Loudly stating she was returning to London. . Felix could call her when he gets tired of the place. No set day.
They settled in Adrien's room. Felix actually brought a small suit case. Gorilla carried it in.
Though there was a pat down on Felix. As though they would find the ring. Felix was obviously uncomfortable but didn't fight it.
"Your room is still as exaggerated as ever. Though I do notice more pictures of your friends and some dolls in the corner." Felix stated.
Adrien turned red. He had forgotten that he left monster high dolls and miraculous heroes figures on the bed. When Adrien was bored or lonely he often used them to pass time. How had he forgotten.
Felix got closer to the pictures of his friends. He picked up aframe.
"That picture is from a class trip. It was my first time going to the zoo." Adrien informed.
Felix nodded.
"I assume they still are not all happy with my presence here." Felix did not hesitate to state the sore topic.
Adrien shrugged.
"Even if they are. I'm still here if you want to hang."
"So stay in your room and play with barbie dolls all day and watch you take your scheduled lessons."
"Actually my dad cleared my lessons. Except piano. Since I can do it here. And they are monster high dolls! Not barbie!"
'You act like I hate the idea."
Adrien smiled. They sat down. Then jokingly used the miraculous figures for a while. Like they did when they were younger with old toys.
Dinner was brought to their room.
Adrien tried to find a solid ground with Felix. They weren't exactly kids again. So the miraculous figures got old fast. The suggestion of video games was mainly Adrien playing while Felix read. With the occasional text message from Adrien friends. Wich Adrien tried not the pick up. Though he did do so ever so often. Nino spamming him with random meme pics. Kagami hadn't texted him once.
They decided to play basketball for a while. Though it was mostly a failed attempt of basketball.
Soon came bedtime. Adrien decided to take the sofa. Felix wanted to take the sofa instead..
Soon they settled to just just awkwardly share the bed. It was big enough for about four people in general. Something they haven't done since they were seven. Adrien turned on the tv. Flipping through channels.
"What do you usually watch, Felix?"
"I don't want television. Sometimes I watch documentaries."
"Murder documentaries and crimes?"
"Sometimes?"
"Please don't kill me in my sleep"
"If you snore I might consider it."
They settled on putting a random cartoon. Felix snored in his sleep.
The concert came around after two days later. Which was a relief. Being stuck in the house without a schedule felt suffocating. The schedule usually was suffocating itself. So why did it feel worse to have actual free time. Plagg commented every once in a while. Complaining about having to hide all the time. It was sick of pretending to be a doll every once in a while. Felix had called Plagg the ugliest stuffed animal ever. That itstinked. Adrien said it had sentimental value.
"Do you think I should dress more casually?" Felix suggested. His suitcase was full of dress shirts and pants. .
"I have some clothes you can borrow as long as you don't pull the switch around stunt again." Adrien said. Felix glared at Adrien. Adrien put his hands up in defense.
Felix waved Adrien off as he entered the closet. Then a few minutes later he entered with a casual black hoodie, jeans and orange speakers.
"I look like a fool." Felix frowned
"You look like a normal teenager." Adrien smiled.
They took the usual limo to Luka boat house. Gorilla told them to call when they wanted to leave. Which just meant gorillas would wait in the corner for hours.
Inside the boat was Luka, Juleka, Rose, Alya, Nino, Marinette, Ivan and Marinette.
"Where is the rest?" Adrien asked as he entered. It was a concert right?
"We decided to postpone it." Alya crossed her arms.
"I assume I had something to do with the sudden distribution of a month's plan" Felix remarked.
Adrien cringed at Felix's statement.
"Clearly you seem to remember the last time." Alya smiled.
Felix attempted to smile back.
"I remember clearly that I promise to not take part of that again." Felix attempted some sort of apology.
"As long as you sit as far as you can." Alya said. Juleka turned away. There was a grim aura.
Adrien coughed.
"C'mon guys. Felix changed. He even ditched the suit. Just give him a chance." Adrien defended. Felix semi eye roll did not help.
Luka broke the awkwardness with a chuckle.
"We shouldn't let the negative ruin an afternoon. Nino made the techno beat for our new song. So maybe an extra day of practice won't kill us."
Nino fist pumped the sky. He took out his music set. Hooked it up to the stereo. Adrien took his position on the keyboard. Changing the tempo. He looked towards Felix who seemed spaced out from everyone. Marinette who was red. She smiled dreamily. Adrien guessed at Luka. Since they seemed to have something going lately.
One. Two. Three.
Juleka hit the bass. Luka the guitar. Ivan the drums. Adrien the keyboard. Nino featuring his techno gears. Mastered by Rose vocals.
It always felt refreshing to listen to this type of music. Unlike classical music. To just be able to scream at the world.
"This had to have been our best performance yet!" Ivan said as he clapped his hands.
Rose jumped in delight also.
"I wish we could have played it to the crowd today. " Juleka mumbled.
Luka put his guitar down. Then addressed the people in front of them. Felix, Alya and Marinette.
"Well we do have a crowd. Possibly a new fan. . Let's see if we wowed a this fan."
Luka said. He stepped forward to Felix.
Felix seemed wild eyed as stunned. Tongue stuck. Something Adrien never seen. It was funny to see Felix like that.
Felix rubbed the back of his neck.
"I've never experienced music like that. I...I like I guess."
Luka put a hand on Felix's shoulder.
"Well how would you rate us?"
"Words can't describe how I would rate it."
"I say we have a new fan."
They cheered at it. Even Alya who was against Felix at first.
They settled the day by eatingg some food Luka mom gave them. They began to talk about new releases in comics and movies.
Soon Adrien's phone rang. They were beingpicked up early. Adrien frowned as he told the others.

Adrien waved goodbye. Felix let out a breath when they exited the boat house.
Felix and Adrien headed home. A long silent ride home. Until they made it to the room. Where Felix excused himself in the bathroom. He seemed to be in there for a while. Adrien guessed perhaps he had a bad stomach until he heard heaving.
"That sounds like me when I accidently heaved in the ashes of another owner's great grandma." Plagg said.
Adrien entered the bathroom without knocking. Felix was throwing up in the toilet. Adrien patted Felix back.
"Are you okay?" Aadrien panicked.
Felix dead stated him.
"Do I look okay?" Felix replied.
"Well you're throwing up. Do you need medicine or something?"
Felix shook his head. He rinsed his mouth with mouthwash. Then took a towel to watch it
"No I'm just not used to being around so many people."
"I guess I can understand. Though I never puked."
"Can I go to bed?"
Adrien smiled.
"You can go to bed. I'm going to go do some homework in the same room if you don't mind."
Felix went to bed.
Adrien solved the questions of his homework. Each question is harder than the last. He made sure to keep an extra eye and ear on his cousin.
