Time for a battle between friends, and a match of sorcery!
Also, as a heads up so I don't have to keep saying who's speaking each time:
"This speech type means that Donald is announcing!"
"And this one means Goofy is announcing!"
With that out of the way, let the Tournament continue!
As Team Dream Chasers and Adam's Adventurers lined up against each other, the crowd watched on in excitement. Silver and Adam were the two people that many considered the closest the Gabriel, due to both of them having been on many missions with the Dream Keeper. Whether it be planning Cinderella's birthday party, exploring the Haunted Mansion, or fighting a pirate crew led by Davy Jones and Hans of the Southern Isles, the three of them had done a lot together as a team.
"Adam!" Silver called from across the field. "I just wanted to say before we started that I always admired you!"
"Really?" Adam tilted his head.
Silver nodded. "You've always been way more confident in yourself than me, but at the same time, it's made me want to get stronger as well. So thank you for inspiring me, but now I'm not gonna hold back against you!"
The cyborg gave a soft smile. "Okay then. Good luck to you all, Dream Chasers!"
With the sound of the bell, the match began. Cinderella and Aurora used their singing to summon their animal friends, the woodland creatures filling the battlefield and making it harder for the opposite team to get close to them. Melanie phased through the crowd and entered Aurora's body, possessing the princess and knocking her out in the process.
"Sorry about that," Melanie said as she exited the princess' body.
"And I'm sorry about this!" Silver shouted. Using his magic paintbrush, he created a portrait frame that sucked Melanie in, trapping the ghost and getting her out of the fight.
"It's a double knock out for both teams!"
"But that's only the start, folks!"
Muntz then sent out his dogs to scare off the woodland creatures, then to go attack the princesses. However, Cinderella sang her song, making the dogs stop in their tracks and listen.
"What are you mutts doing!?" Muntz said in disbelief.
"Pretty lady has nice voice," one of the dogs said.
"Yes, she says not for us to fight."
"Oh, we should fight for pretty lady instead."
"She can summon squirrels for us to chase!"
As Muntz watched the scene play out, he was suddenly entangled by a large amount of golden hair. It was Rapunzel, with the sun princess trapping Muntz and then knocking her out with her trusty frying pan.
"Elsa, we have the advantage now," Silver noted. "How about we change the playing field to our advantage."
The snow queen nodded, then unleashed her powers to quickly freeze the area. Adam and Athena, being a cyborg/ robot respectively, used their internal heating mechanisms to unfreeze themselves, while Black Panther activated his kinetic armor to blast the ice away. Despite this, the arena was still covered in ice, making movement trickier for everyone else but Elsa.
"Athena, go for Cinderella. T'Challa, focus on Elsa. I can get both Rapunzel and Silver," Adam commanded.
"Right!" Adam's Adventurers replied, jumping into battle as they slid across the frozen battlefield.
"Looks like Adam's team is going on the offensive!"
"I think you mean- no, wait, you actually used the right word this time, Goofy."
"Thanks Donald. It's all the English I've been helping Maxie study for."
It didn't take long for Athena to take out Cinderella, with the robot girl using her blaster to harmlessly stun the princesses. Silver created a rubber shield to block the electric attacks from Adam, while Rapunzel tried to get in close to attack with her hair and frying pan, with mixed results. Elsa's ice wasn't doing much against Black Panther's Vibranium armor, but the snow queen could at least keep up with the king of Wakanda. Using her magic, Elsa summoned Marshmallow, the giant snow golem roaring as he towered over everyone.
"And the snow queen summons her monster to fight for her," Black Panther said, dodging out of the way.
"Marshmallow, you know what to do," Elsa said confidently.
The snow golem started attacking Adam's team, with their attacks not doing much to hurt the monster. Even Athena's blaster could only make holes through Marshmallow, with the creature just quickly healing the damage away. Marshmallow then went into his spikey ice form, raising up his arms to try and crush the opposing team. While Black Panther managed to get Adam out of the way, Athena had little time to react as the hand came down on her.
"Athena!" Adam called out.
When Marshmallow removed his hand, the robot girl had a hole punched through her, electronic sparks coming from the hole. Adam went to help her, but Athena held up her hand. "Adam… Stay back… I have a plan to win this."
"Wait, are you going to-?" Adam tried to say, only for Black Panther to quickly pull Adam back.
"Get down!" T'Challa shouted, just as Athena activated her self-destruct sequence.
The explosion rocked the stadium, defeating Marshmallow and staggering Silver's team. Black Panther kept Adam safe, however, and with his suit charged to the maximum, he used the kinetic energy to send out a large blast and both Elsa and Rapunzel, knocking both princesses out, leaving Silver the only one left on his team. As he was still stunned from the explosion, Adam simply walked out to Silver and put his robotic arm around the boy's neck, pinning him to the floor.
"Thank you for helping us win, Athena," Adam said to himself as the bell rang. The cyborg then got up and helped Silver to his feet. "You did well, all things considered, Silver."
"I think I underestimated your team," Silver admitted. "I've never seen Tomorrowland, so I didn't know Athena could do that."
"Yeah, and I'll have to tell her not to blow herself up next time," Adam stated. "I'm pretty sure she gave Frank a heart attack having to watch that happen for a second time."
"There was a first time?" Silver asked.
Adam nodded. "Yeah, and it was a pain in the butt to fix her as well. It involved time travel, mad scientists, and was part of the reason I have a robot arm now."
"Well then, maybe we can talk about our adventures after the tournament," Silver offered.
"Only if you can actually get a date so me and Melanie can have a double date," Adam said. "That's one of the things still on her bucket list."
Silver blushed but nodded, thinking of who he'd want to ask out on this double date.
"Adam Jackson, please come to the medical bay as soon as possible. We'll be needing you help to make sure all the repairs on Athena go smoothly."

With Rachel and Phantasm standing across from each other, both sides had different approaches to preparing for the fight. Rachel held Fafnir's Bane tightly in her grip, while Phantasm simply brushed some dirt off of his cloak, adjusting his amulet as well.
"Before we fight, I just want to say that I hope we have a good fight," Rachel said.
"As do I," Phantasm said before giving a smirk. "However, I don't intend to lose either."
Tinkerbell rang the bell to start the match, and Magia Genus ran forward on the attack. Rachel raised her sword standing next to Ashoka, Amity summoned an abomination to fight for her, Violet went invisible, and Marcy readied her crossbow. Phantasm's team held fast, with the ghost man simply activating his amulet, sending out a pulse of energy that hit the other team. While it didn't affect Ashoka, Violet, and Marcy, Rachel's sword lost its glow and Amity's abomination melted back into goo. Surprised by this, Amity didn't notice Jack Skellington sneak up behind her, using his Ghostly Scream technique to surround the girl with dark energy, scaring her and knocking her unconscious.
"No… Sorry Rachel…" Amity said as she fell to the ground defeated.
"Amity!" Marcy called. Aiming her crossbow at Jack, the girl fired a few shots, though most of them were burned away by Jack's magic.
"Looks like Phantasm's amulet canceled out your magic," Ashoka noted. "Let's focus on him, guys!" Shen then focused on Sora, the two not-sword wielders getting into a duel.
"Not so fast!" said Plagg, the cat Kwami floating in front of the ghost. "If you get any closer, I'll use my Cataclysm on you!"
"Plagg, I can defend myself," Phantasm rolled his eyes. "But go ahead, stand in front of me, I suppose."
Marcy stayed focus on distracting Jack, but was then set upon by Binx, the girl screaming as a cat latched itself to her face. Jack took this moment to send ice and fire spells to trip Marcy up, but they were soon blocked by an invisible shield. Violet then made herself known, creating a force field bubble to pull Binx off of Marcy, incapacitating the cat and getting him out of the fight.
"Okay Marcy, let's take on the skeleton guy together," Violet said, standing ready for battle with her ally. Marcy smiled, pulling out an explosive arrow and firing.
Back with Phantasm, Rachel and Ashoka circled him, wary of Plagg and his Cataclysm attack. "Stay on your guard. Phantasm is a ghost, so I wouldn't put it past him to try and possess one of us."
"It looks like we're at a classic Mexican stand-off down there."
"But Donald, we're not in Mexico."
"It's a metaphor, Goofy. Both sides can't really get the advantage on the other. Not helping is the fact that Plagg is essentially intangible to all attacks."
"Correct there, Donald," Phantasm smirked. "I specifically chose him and not Chat Noir because of that fact. Even if I fall, Plagg will hold the fight to a standstill until your team falls."
Rachel gritted her teeth. "That's a dirty trick and you know it!"
Phantasm shrugged. "I'm a ghost. You should have expected me to do something like this."
As they continued to circle, Marcy and Violet managed to get one over on Jack. With a combination of Insta-vines from Marcy and a well-placed shield from Violet, the two girls tripped up the pumpkin king and held him down long enough for Jack to be eliminated. "Well played, girls," Jack said with a smile as he faded away.
"Rachel, should we do the thing now?" Marcy asked.
"What thing?" Ashoka asked.
"Yes, I would like to know as well," Phantasm added.
"You know, the thing with the thing?" Marcy emphasized, waving a hand at her journal.
Rachel's eyes widened in recognition, then nodded. "Magia Genus, execute plan Deep Dive!"
With quick movements, Marcy fired some Insta-vines and explosive arrows at Phantasm, the ghost phasing through the explosions and rushing at Marcy in retaliation. Ashoka used this explosion to get the upper hand on Sora, knocking him out with a double lightsaber slash. This left Plagg to be distracted long enough for Violet to put him into a force field and send him into the ground, stunned enough to not immediately phase through the bubble. Once Phantasm got over to Marcy he quickly possessed the girl, only for Rachel to stab Marcy with her sword soon after.
"What!? Did Rachel just eliminate her own teammate?"
"Thanks for the play, Marcy," Rachel said as her teammate faded away, leaving Phantasm stunned as he was ejected from the girl's body. "Ashoka, now!"
The former Jedi reached out with the Force, grabbing Phantasm's amulet and pulling it into her grip. The ghost tried to grab it, but Rachel sliced at him, Phantasm grunting as the blade got a clean hit on him.
"Not so powerful when you can't just nerf our powers, are you?" Ashoka said. "Let's turn the tables for us, shall we?"
She held up the amulet and activated it, sending out a pulse that transformed Phantasm from a ghost into a mortal being. Plagg soon recovered from being sent into the ground and rushed over to his teammate that was vulnerable. "CATACLYSM!" he shouted, reaching out and touching Rachel. When nothing happened, the Kwami panicked before being trapped in another bubble by Violet.
"I think that's a wrap, team," Rachel said, nodding as the bell sighting their victory rang. Her team gave a bow to the crowd before making their leave, with Ashoka giving the amulet back to Phantasm, allowing him to resume his ghostly from once more.
"That girl is quite resourceful," Phantasm mused before leaving the arena himself.
"Ugh, I could go for some pity cheese right now," Plagg sighed.
"And with that, Magia Genus wins this round. We'll be right back for the next match, but for now, a word from our sponsor!"
"Wait, this thing is sponsored?" Gabriel asked from the stands.
Author's Note
No, there's not a real sponsor for this story (other than the support I get from you guys reading!) but imagine a "House of Mouse" style commercial to play between chapters.
Silver and Adam fighting was a nice surprise for me, as those two characters have a lot of history with Gabriel and the Magical World. Ultimately, I gave the win to Adam as while Silver did have Elsa as a good combatant, the combination of Black Panther and Adam's tech gave them a solid win over the princesses. Athena sacrificing herself again gave Adam the edge he needed for victory, but rest assured the robot girl is going to get a talking to about blowing herself up for the second time!
As for Rachel and Phantasm, it was interesting to write based solely on the fact that Phantasm had Plagg on him team and the anti-magic amulet. Amity went down easily as she isn't really a fighter without her magic, and Binx is literally just a talking cat, so there wasn't much he could really do. Rachel is a strategist, though, so with Marcy's help she came up with a few battle plans for her team to use. All they had to do is get the amulet from Phantasm, and it was an easy victory for the girls.
On a side note, can I just say that Kwamis on their own are super overpowered? Like if they weren't tied to the Miraculous, they would essentially be invincible gods. I got around this by using the anti-magic amulet on Plagg at the end, but seriously, the power scaling in Miraculous Ladybug is wild.
