Hey everyone, welcome back. Sorry for the long wait, but I was busy making other stories and stuff. But now I'm back and ready to finish the USJ arc. Also, I might post slower since I'll be watching season 5 of MHA, but I'll post this at least once a month in the meantime. Now let's get started.
Chapter 8: All Might vs Nomu.
All Might looked down at the central plaza. Where he saw a certain green haired boy and green haired girl being hurt by a bird looking monster.
"Fear not…" he said as he dashed down the staircase and defeated the remaining minor villains. "For I am here!" He said with an angry face.
"Even though he's not smiling I still feel safer." Izuku said.
"Totally." Himoto said.
"Excellent!" Shigaraki said. "Now the real fun can begin! Nomu, Kill him!" Shigaraki said as he pointed towards All Might. Causing Nomu to charge at him.
"Not today villain!" All Might said as he prepared a attack. "Detroit smash!" All Might's fist made contact as soon as Nomu got close, but to his and everyone else surprise, Nomu didn't budge.
"All Might!" Izuku yelled. "That monster has shock absorption! Attacks like that can't hurt it!"
"Oh now you tell me." All Might said under his breath. Fortunately that didn't stop him from blocking a punch from Nomu. The two then proceeded to battle on. While All Might fought hard to destroy the Nomu. Izuku and Himoto went to join the others, until Izuku stopped.
"Go on without me." He said to Himoto.
"Not a chance." She said immediately.
"Don't worry, I'll be safe. You need to keep everyone else safe." Izuku said. After some hesitation, Himoto reluctantly agreed. Izuku then dashed back to the battle where All Might was losing ground. And by the look on his face, his limit was catching up to him.
"Dammit." All Might thought to himself. "My time limit is already getting the better of me. If I don't end this soon, it will be the end for us all." All Might threw another punch towards Nomu. This time, the creature caught it and held his fist in place. With All Might in his grasp, Nomu delivered a hard punch to All Might's Stomach, as well as his injured area.
"Ahhh!" All Might yelled in pain.
"Well well." Shigaraki said as he smiled sadistically. "Looks like master was right. You are weaker than we thought."
"Master? So he's not the one in charge?" All Might thought as he struggled to get free of Nomus grasp.
"All Mights in trouble!" Izuku thought to himself. "I gotta do something. But what can I do? 5% power isn't gonna effect that thing, and if I go higher I'll hurt myself." Izuku pondered on when suddenly, Nomu was frozen on his left side. All Might used this opportunity to punch the frozen side and smashed Nomu in half. He then got some distance between him and the half destroyed Nome.
"H-how?" Izuku thought, that's when he noticed a certain boy with red and white hair standing not too far away.
"Not gonna happen." Todoroki said flatly.
"No fair! I wanted first shot!" Katauki yelled as he approached from behind.
"Well looks like that's the…" Izuku stopped when he noticed the half destroyed Nomu twitch and then the other half began to reform. Everyone watched in horror and shock as the Nomu completely regenerated his whole body.
"Oops." Shigaraki said smugly. "Did I forget to mention that Nomu has more than just shock absorption?"
"What!" Izuku yelled out loud.
"That shouldn't be possible." All Might said to himself. "Super strength, shock absorption and regeneration? Nothing can have these many quirks… unless." A chill passed through All Mights spine as he thought about how this is possible. "No, it can't be."
"All Might!" Izuku yelled bringing All Might out of his stupor. He raised his fist just in time to block another punch from Nomu. All Might continue to block as his power began to decrease slowly. Knowing there was not much time left, he decided to do one last trick.
"Enough! Time to finish you once and for all vile creature!" All Might then knocked Nomu off guard and hit him with a powerful punch. Before Shigaraki could mock him, All Might delivered another mighty blow, then another and another. Everyone watched in awe as All Might's fist became blurry as he punched Nomu continuously.
"What's going on?" Shigaraki asked, confused. "Nomu shouldn't be affected at all by his attacks.
"It appears his attacks are so fast that the shock absorption can't keep up with them." Kurogiri said.
"And now, Be gone!" All Might launched on final punch, this time Nomu went flying out of the roof of the USJ. "Whew. Took me 300 punches to do that. I miss being in my prime."
"No!" Shigaraki yelled as Kurogiri held him back. "Let go of me! I need to kill him!"
"Some other day. We must make our escape now!" Kurogiri said. Just then Shigaraki was shot in the arm with a bullet. The two looked to see that it was the pro hero Snipe. Along with other pro heroes brought by Iida.
"Hold on Shigaraki!" Kurogiri said as he encased them both in a cloud of mist. Shigaraki gave one last look at All Might before he and Kurogri disappeared from the scene."
"All Might! Are you okay?" Izuku asked as he ran up to him.
"Yeah kid,(cough) I'm peachy." All Might said coughing up blood. "But I think I should go now."
"Yeah maybe you should." Izuku said. All Might then ran towards the exit and past the students and teachers. Izuku also made his way to the exit along with Katsuki and Todoroki. Once they got to the top of the stairs, Izuku was hugged by the person he was expecting to hug him.
"Izuku! You alright!" Himoto said "That was crazy even for you."
"I'm fine, Himoto." Izuku said. "Thanks to All Might, we're all gonna be fine."
"Glad to hear." Himoto said with a smile. The police then arrived and arrested the defeated villains. They got reports from the students and teachers, and when everything was settled, they returned to school on the bus. Once their, Aizawa informed them they would have a day off so that the school could recover properly. Everyone understood and returned to their homes.
(With Himoto and Izuku)
"Izuku?" Himoto asked as the two siblings rode the train back home.
"Yeah sis."
"How do you do it?"
"Do what?" Izuku said quirking an eyebrow.
"Fight quirkless? Before you got One For All, you and I used to spar. And you held your ground, even without a quirk."
"Well you were holding back." Izuku said
"Yeah, but still, you did great for someone with a disadvantage. Unlike me." Himoto said looking a bit embarrassed. "I was in the downpour zone, and the only reason I made it out was because of Tokoyami."
"Hey, I had some help too." Izuku said holding up his hand with the broken finger. "If it wasn't for Tsu and Mineta, I'm pretty sure I would have a lot more than a broken finger."
"Yeah, but at least you were useful. I was just dead weight."
"Don't say that Himoto." Izuku said, causing his sister to turn to him. "Your not dead weight to anyone, and you never will be. You just have your strength and weaknesses like everyone else. You just need to find a way to get past your weaknesses."
"How?" Himoto asked.
"Find a way to fight, even rainy areas." Izuku said.
"But I can't breathe fire in the rain." Himoto said.
"Then find another way to use your fire. Remember what Mr. Aizawa said, you can't be a good hero if you only have one trick."
Himoto thought for a moment before saying. "Your right. I've only been using my quirk one way. But if I'm ever gonna be a pro, I need to learn how to be more creative. Kinda like you."
"Oh, come on sis, I learned all I know from you." Izuku said, blushing slightly.
"Not everything." Himoto said, punching her brother on the shoulder.
The twins continued to ride their train to their stop. When they got there, they made their way to their apartment and Izuku got his key to open the door. When the twins entered the home, they heard the living room T.V on. They went to see what it was, finding their mother watching the news where they talked about the USJ attack.
"Oh shit." Himoto said.
"Hey that's my line." Izuku said.
As soon as they spoke, Inko immediately turned her head to see her children with bruises and bandages. With her eyes filled with tears she lunged at the two and hugged them with all her might.
"OH MY BABIES!"
"It's gonna be a long night." Izuku said stiffly.
"Yeah, no kidding." Himoto said.
And that's it! I'm sorry about the long wait, but I didn't have much time lately. Anyway, this concludes season 1. Next we'll begin season 2, although I won't post as frequently as I'm going to be watching season 5 of the anime. Although I want to remind you guys to check out Noah's channel on YouTube.
