"I got the extension cord!"

"I got the Dial!"

"R'I rot ra Ruppet!"

All coming in from different doors; the three that had left, had managed to get the best timing and all come in at the same moment. Earning an amused chuckle from those who hadn't left the room. (Though why Scooby had come in from the dining room door, was a mystery.)

But they soon were on the move, and things didn't stop there.

It started with Velma pushing from the kitchen doorway. Eyeing Fred for a second and nodding her head slightly, she then tossed the small electrical box to Daphne. Without skipping a beat, the brunette twisted behind her and caught the extension cord plug that Fred had thrown at her. He had started to move only a second after she did, seeing her nod. Making sure to hold on to the other side of the extension cord that needed to be attached to where Daphne was beside the fan. The pair crossed the kitchen space, connected by the cord between them. They aimed straight at Shaggy, but made sure to only lift the cable up high enough to allowed Shaggy to limbo under it flawlessly. As he stood up, the taller man righted himself to then catch the tossed puppet from Scooby. Fred stopped at Daphne's side, who had plugged in the electronic gizmo she caught from Velma and continued to add it into where Fred was offering. At the same time as Velma had reached the plug behind them. And Shaggy made a flourish with the offered puppet towards Red. All ending on the same beat, to look over to the taller Red head.

"Oh, now you guys are just showing off." Huffed Red, more amused then annoyed. Chuckling from his position watching the group work from the sidelines.

But it was an impressive show of coordination! He would give them that.

"Thank you Shaggy. Well, I guess in regards to your earlier question for who wants to use which... we can do a round where you all use your own, but then we can switch them up?" Red offered a solution to the earlier question on what they should do about who gets which puppet. And nothing was stopping them from doing a few rounds of the game. Switching up as they went.

All looking at each other, the Gang nodded.

"Yep."
"Sounds good."
"That works."
"Rah rah!"
"Ok, sure."

"Well, I guess then the hard part is... Who goes first?" Red asked, looking at his puppet he was handed. Since Maddy hadn't made him a puppet as well. (Though he might need to ask her if he could commission one, and see if his mom has some good photos of his younger self, to use to match the rest of the gang in puppet form.) But the puppet he was holding, was from Sesame Street. One of the more famous monsters of the series. Grover; the blue furred, kind monster with a big red lip line and a round pink nose. Though he was in his hero form; which included a knight like helmet on his head, a reddish-pink cape tied to his wrists and a super hero chest symbol of a blue letter G that was in front of a yellow lightning bolt. Very stylish for a monster. Class A, Super Hero.

"Doesn't matter though who is going... I got this one in the bag! I mean, Super Grover has a cape, of course he'll fly the furthest!" Red mentioned offhandedly. His victory secure when ever his turn was up.

"Yep, then Grover will be the one to beat!"

Shaggy agreed, handing out the right puppets to the right gang members. Making sure to remove the waist with legs and rods, to make them fly the easiest. Making sure they would be the same as Red's Grover, to even the playing field. Just a hand puppet with mouth and noodly arms. Well, sans the cape Grover had, giving the monster possibly an advantage. But Shaggy made sure to tuck the removed parts back into the suitcase for later. Keeping them safe as they flung the rest of them, across the kitchen.

"Super... Grover." The Large man corrected simply, raising one finger to accent his silly point. Which was ignored.

"Hey, Shaaaaaaggy?" Daphne moved up to stand next to the scruffy man, bumping him with a hip and grinning.

"Hm? What's up Daph?"

"You got a dice-"

"Die."
"Ria."
"Die."
"Die." Came an echo from all the gamers in the room to correct her. Earning a knowing smile as she just poked the group because she could to get a response. Expecting that very same reaction.

"Yes yes, do you have a six sided in the kitchen?" Daphne asked, not even using the corrected term in her request. Though she did know it was more commonly called a d6. Or a 1d6 if Daphne was really pestering their nerdiness.

"Scooby..." Shaggy said, turning to lean over to nod his head at the Dane. "Second drawer from the middle, grab it won't you?"

"Rye rye, Raggy!"

Padding over to the drawer in question. There was heard a massive amount of shuffling sounds coming from the area Scooby was digging through. Pushing a bunch of items around before the dog seemed to find what he was looking for. Sliding the drawer shut with a small bang, Scooby then trotted over to drop the small cube of plastic into Shaggy's hand. It had to have belonged to Shaggy as well, as it matched his two tone theme from their Maidens and Monster's game. The die in question also had to be Shaggy's, as it looked like a cube of Colby Jack Cheese. With a matching yellow swirl pattern with the other half being an off white similar to the dairy product. It was surprising that Scooby didn't carry it in his mouth, or well... try to eat it.

(Though no clue if the Dane might have tried to eat it in the past. Which is why he didn't try to eat it just then.)

Being handed the die at her request, Daphne moved to the nearby countertop and tossed the small cube to see what number she would get. Ushering everyone to come near to see.

"Well, I got 1. So, you all have to go after me." She gloated smugly. "Since we have six of us, we all roll till someone has gotten all the numbers. And that is our order."

"Well, normally getting a 6 is better, but this isn't Maidens and Monsters. So, I guess we can go with a more mundane counting system." Velma griped, earning an eye eye roll from Daphne.

"Not everything can be M&M rules, miss GM lady." Daphne mocked lightly, but knew better to anger the dungeon master. Even if they weren't playing. Her wrath was mighty, and her memory long.

"Hmph." Velma pretended to be more offended then she really was. It was April Fools day, after all. Though someone else was more distracted...

"Mmmmmmm, R'ocolate." Scooby said with a slurp. Drooling slightly.

Spacing a moment, thinking about chocolate... Shaggy shook off his distraction to get back to the task at hand.

Opening up a drawer, Shaggy fished through it and brought out a pen and sticky note. Passing it along to Velma wordlessly. Earning a quick note marking all their names on the piece of paper. And that Daphne was first. In a series of rolls, everyone took their turn, filling in the rest of Velma's note. Daphne was first, followed by Fred. Red came next, then Velma. With Shaggy and then Scooby last.

"Alright, well Super Grover might have a cape, but Young Daphne had some fly style. So, better watch out!" Daphne took her place to start the game off.

Sliding her felt double on the fan, she picked up the small gadget that Velma had gotten earlier. It was a black box, that was a bridge electronic between the main object and the power source. Letting them be able to adjust the power output by a dial control. Allowing them to turn the fan on highest setting, but also able to control how soon it would reach max speed. Or just crank the sucker up as fast as it could go from the start... and just wish for luck.

But, the little dial let for a bit more control, if the person wished for it.

"Here..."

"...I..."

"...GO!"

Starting up the speed gently, Daphne let the small puppet spin a bit on the slow end, before ramping it up and snapping the dial to max. But she was too slow in going full blast, that the puppet had already slid mostly off and it only flew a short distance from the fan.

"Ok... well don't do it like, that." Snorted the woman, disappointed.

"Heh, thanks Daph." Fred patted her on the shoulder as she moved out of the way and let him get to the fan. Passing over the controller to him as he took his place. "Ok, so mini Me on the blade. This dial thingy makes it spin faster. We have it on the highest setting on the fan, so..."

Starting it off slowly, Fred learned from Daphne's mistake and made sure to not let the slow speed actually pull the puppet from the blade yet. Building up momentum without letting it slide too much. The Young Fred's wobbly, untethered arms fluttered in the wind as it spun. And then Fred snapped the dial to max!

It was a thing of beauty... as the Puppet gained a huge amount of airtime and set sailing across the kitchen. It overshot the weak display of the puppet redhead and easily surpassed the kitchen island further in the kitchen. Landing with a thud against the counters that sat beside the oven on the other side of the room before coming to a full stop. Easily earning first place. Making it hard for anyone to actually beat him, unless they got super lucky.

"Beginners Luck." Daph grumbled in her impressive defeat. But, at least her double had traveled a bit! So, someone could do worse...

She hoped.

"That is some serious beginners luck. But as all of us are new to this except Shaggy's earlier attempt. We all got a shot at that luck! My turn!" Moving up, Red slid on his puppet to the plastic fan blade.

Compared to Fred and Daphne who had their puppets facing to the ceiling, Red opted to have his facing to the floor. Making sure it was secure before taking a step back and accepting the controller from Fred. Leaning to eyeball his aim across the top of the fan, Red nodded before he spoke.

"All you guys being fancy, but well... Super Grover's got 'a Fly! FULL POWER!"

Twisting the knob to max, Red didn't put in any effort into trying to figure out things that were more complicated then he could think about this early in the morning. So, he just opted to just slid the dial to full and pray for the rest to work out in his favor. It didn't take long for the small puppet to spin fast enough to leave the fan. He got a nice arc, though seemed to want to be flying backwards. But, who was Red to say how a superhero was to fly?

But Super Grover made it about halfway across the kitchen. Landing a bit before the island. Sliding across the floor till it hit against the bottom edge of the counter top.

"Well, that didn't beat Fred, but it got further then Daphne. I'll take it." Red shrugged, not unhappy with his placing so far. It was not last place at least.

"Guess that means, it's my turn."

Spoke up Velma from her notes. Making sure to hand them over to Scooby before she picked up her own self. The youngest had been trying to pay attention to how the fan was spinning, and how the rest of them went about their actions. But it was still too soon for her to know just exactly how she needed to control the electronic to get the optimal arc to make the puppet of her fly the furthest. She hoped for more data points, to let her get a better handle on the quirks of the game. Hoping to figure out some math that would help her, but it was still way too early for such complicated matters.

"Hm..." Playing around the the control, she managed to get herself up to speed and flung the puppet off the fan blade. But she managed to fling the puppet to one side, doing something similar to what Shaggy had done in his example earlier and bounce her puppet into a wall and ricocheted back to the kitchen floor. Ending about the middle between were the Small Daphne sat, and where Super Grover was snoozing.

"Well, Drat. Your turn Shaggy." Such was the luck of the draw. Always made a variable interesting, but at least Velma did better then Daphne did. Taking a small bit of pride being able to do that at least. She wasn't last. Being a friendly shade of competitive with the rest of the gang and Red. As the rest of them were doing as well, without admitting it aloud. But Fred was going to be hard to beat, with only Shaggy and Scooby left to take away his first turn lead.

"I, like' got this..."

Acting smooth from his earlier attempt, Shaggy knew what to do. Or so he told himself. He was confident that the holiday had been going great so far! So, this game was going over well, and it had been a pretty good event that he and Scooby had managed to put together and pull off. So, now it was his time to shine!

Tugging Little Shaggy on to one of the fan blades, The scruffy man made sure to get the puppet fully on the blade before he moved to pick up the speed alternator. But he really didn't have any grand type plan. So, he just shrugged and moved the dial to almost full. The small material clone rotated around for a little bit, before he had enough momentum to get pulled from the plastic fan blade.

Taking to the sky, the Little Shaggy gracefully flew in mostly a straight line. But since this was Shaggy's second time trying this, he was beat by Fred's beginners luck. Falling like a puppet and a half's body length, from where the felt blond puppet sat. Surpassing everyone else, but Fred.

"Hey, I'll take that." Shaggy happily accepted second place.

Pushing Shaggy lightly out of the way once he was done, Scooby made a grand display. Waving a paw for Shaggy to make some room for his attempt, before starting some exercises. Rotating his shoulders in wide circles, the Dane moved into a small stretching routine. Counting as he tilted his arm over his head in an arc, Making sure to do both sides. Also bent backwards and forwards at the waist. Keeping himself limber for the task ahead. He was about to do another set when a certain toned cough came from behind him. Earning a doggy side eye, at the toe tapping Daphne with crossed arms and no patience for his shenanigans'. Laughing, Scooby accepted that he was finished and moved to add the puppet version of himself finally to the fan.

"R'atch R'a Raster!"

Up on his back paws, Scooby got to work. He made shooing gestures to the gang, telling them to back up while he was taking his turn. Making sure everything was perfect for his puppet's aerial run.

He used his paw to rotate the fan once fully around. Sticking his tongue out one side of his mouth, he pretended to measure the angles of the fan blades. But before he could get too into it, the foot tapping returned and there was threat of another cough being worked in the red head's throat. So, Scooby let out a wheezing snicker and moved to get on with it. Turning the knob with abandon, the dog just went for it. Turning the controller to max.

His big nose followed the puppet as it built up enough energy to fling the puppet in a direction. But as the dog got dizzy with watching and moving his head in circles... He fell over as the puppet left the fan. Hitting the ground with all four paws, he laid there dazed before he was able to see straight again.

Looking left then right, the Dane tried to find where his puppet landed. Shifting his view to the fan, it was still spinning as he hadn't turned it off yet, but the puppet was gone. Leaning up to look over it, he craned his neck to try to find where his other self was. But he wasn't able to find it.

That is when Velma let off a giggle. The sound drew the attention of Scooby, moving to look at what she was laughing at. But as he saw the whole gang and Red standing there... They parted to show the crumpled heap of Scooby's puppet. Yes, it had reached the top of the counter. The only problem was it was on the opposite direction, that they had been aiming for. Making Scooby land clearly in last place.

Setting that round's final score.

"Rhoops..." Admitted Scooby bashfully with a shrug.

"What a Ham!" Velma said bemused. Moving her attention to her notes, Velma added the last number to the list before speaking.

"Looks like Scooby is in last place, Daphne is in 5th, with her amazing run."

"Hey! You didn't do much better!"

"Yes, but I still did better then you." Velma taunted.

"Hmph. Next round."

"Yeah yeah. Well, I am in 4th. Red is ahead of me at a solid 3rd place."

"Whoo!"

"And then Shaggy got second with Fred getting first place!"

"Like' congrats Fred!"

Rounds of claps and a hearty slap on the back from Red was given to the man. With Shaggy moving to clean up the puppets. He gathered them all from the floor and then placed them on a nearby surface before turning back to the group. Catching their attention, he moved to ask a question.

"So, who's up for round two?"
