[The scene transitions to the Outlands. The Outsiders, led by Zira, walk into a pond.]
Outsiders:growls* [The Outsiders emerge on the opposite shore, their coats soaked with mud.] *growls* [The Outsiders stride across the savanna. Overhead, gray clouds cover the sky. Thunder rumbles, and lightning flickers in the clouds.]
[The scene transitions to Pride Rock. There is a clap of thunder, and rain begins to fall.]
Timon:[from offscreen] I can't believe we lost her again. [Timon and Pumbaa pace restlessly inside Pride Rock.] This is the eight-thousandth time!
Pumbaa:*whimpers*
Timon:[Timon halts and jabs an accusing finger at Pumbaa.] I thought you were gonna watch her!
Pumbaa:Me? [Timon marches around Pumbaa.] You were gonna watch her!
Timon:[Timon turns to face Pumbaa on his other side.] I thought you were gonna watch her!
Pumbaa:[Pumbaa points accusingly at Timon.] No, you were gonna watch her!
Timon:You were gonna watch her!
Pumbaa:Ah! Watch this! [Pumba belly-flops on top of Timon.]
Timon:Ow! [Timon flips Pumbaa onto his back and tugs at his lip.] Take that, you creepy warthog! Say it!
[Simba strides into Pride Rock and shakes rainwater from his mane.]
Pumbaa:[from offscreen] Fat!
Timon:[from offscreen] Say it!
Pumbaa:[from offscreen] Fat! [Timon holds Pumbaa by the leg.] Fatty! Fat! Fat!
Simba:What are you doing?
Timon:[Timon and Pumbaa snap to attention. Pumbaa grins innocently, while Timon lands on his stomach.] Ah! Good question. [Timon sits up.] Uh, lemme ask you one.
Pumbaa:Hippo-thetically.
Timon:[Timon hops onto Pumbaa's snout.] Very hypothetical. There's this guy...
Pumbaa:[Pumbaa shakes his head.] But he's not a lion!
Timon:[Timon waves his hands in denial.] No! No! [Simba smirks knowingly.] He's not a lion. Sheesh. [Timon wags a finger at Simba.] Definitely not a lion. And, ah... Ah, his daughter, um, [Timon holds up both his arms.] say... [Timon crosses his arms.] vanished?
Simba:[angrily] Kiara's gone?!
Zazu:[Zazu flaps frantically into the den.] Sire! [Zazu hovers in front of Simba.] The Outsiders are on the attack! Heading this way! It's [Zazu's eyes widen, and he pumps his wings in fists.] war!
Simba:Zazu, find Kiara! [Zazu flies off.] We'll assemble the lionesses. Move, now! [Simba races away. Timon and Pumbaa exchange frantic glances.]
[The scene transitions to a rocky plain. Thunder crashes, and lightning flickers in the clouds. The Outsiders stalk slowly across the landscape.]
Guinea fowls:[Several guinea fowls flee from the Outsiders.] *squawks*
Outsiders:*growls*
Simba's pride:[Simba's pride strides onto the plain, opposite the Outsiders. Simba stalks along the line of lionesses.] *roars*
Antelope and zebras:[Several antelope and zebra lift their heads, then flee.] *brays*
[Kovu,Kiara,Daniel Tiger,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj, and Their parents,race through the rain toward the warring prides.]
Daniel Tiger: Come on guys we got to them.
AJ:{wearing raincoat} You Got it Daniel Tiger.
O The Owl:Uh Aj why are you wearing a raincoat?
AJ:It protects my fur.
O The Owl:Oh.
[ In-between them and the battlefield, the gorge splits the land. Half of the gorge is full of water and dammed by logs.]
Giraffes and okapis:[Several giraffes and okapis flee from the prides.] *brays*
Outsiders:[The Outsiders form a battle line, while Zira climbs a tall rock.] *growls*
Vultures: [Vultures circle overhead.] *caws*
Outsiders:[The Outsiders stand in a line. Simba's pride forms up opposite them.] *growls* [Simba stands at the head of his pride.]
Timon and Pumbaa:[Timon and Pumbaa march out in front of Simba's pride. They turn and shake their butts at the Outsiders.] Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah-nah!
Zira: It's over, Simba! I have dreamed of nothing else for years!
Timon:[Timon stands on Pumbaa's head. He gestures to Zira.] Boy, does she need a hobby.
Simba:Last chance, Zira: [Simba juts his head at Zira.] go home.
Zira:I am home. *growls* [Thunder booms, and lightning flashes.] Attack!
Outsiders:[The Outsiders rear onto their hind legs.] *roars* [The Outsiders walk toward Simba's pride.]
Simba:*roars*
[Simba's pride walks toward the Outsiders.]
Outsiders:[The Outsiders continue their advance, now trotting quickly.] *growls*
Simba's pride:[Simba's pride continues their advance, now trotting quickly.] *growls*
Outsiders:[The Outsiders break into a run.] *snarls*
Simba's pride:[Simba's pride breaks into a run.] *roars*
Outsiders and Simba's pride:[The Outsiders and Simba's pride meet in the middle of the battlefield and begin to fight.] *snarls*
Lioness:[An Outsider bites a Pride Lander on the back.] *yowls*
Zira:[Zira continues to stand on her tall rock.] Go for the eye!
Lioness:snarls* [An Outsider smacks a Pride Lander in the jaw.]
Zira:Break his jaw!
Lioness:An Outsider smacks a Pride Lander aside.] *snarls*
Zira:Hit him low! [An Outsider pounces on a Pride Lander.] Get them!
Outsiders and Simba's pride:[The Outsiders and Simba's pride continue to fight.] *roars*
Zira:[from offscreen] Do what you must!
From across the gorge, Kovu,Kiara,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,and Their parents watch the battle in dismay.]
Outsiders and Simba's pride:.*roars*
Daniel Tiger: We're too late! They started the battle!
Kiara:No,Daniel Tiger There's still time. [sees the pile of logs in the middle of the gorge] Come on! We can go across there! [Kiara,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,Their parents and Kovu race towards the log pile.]
Outsiders and Simba's pride:[The Outsiders and Simba's pride continue to fight.] *roars*
Pumbaa:[Timon and Pumbaa stand up against a rock wall.] Whadda we do?! Whadda we do?!
Timon:[Timon lifts a finger emphatically.] There's only one thing we can do, Pumbaa. [Timon smacks his fist into his hand.] When the going gets tough, [Timon repeats the gesture.] the tough get going. [Timon spreads his arms wide.] That's our motto!
Pumbaa:I thought our motto was "Hakuna Matata!"
Timon:[Timon holds his hands to his head.] Pumbaa, stop livin' in the past! We need a new motto. [Timon lunges toward the battle.] Yeehaw!
Timon and Pumbaa:[Pumbaa follows Timon.] *yells*
Outsider:An Outsider turns toward Timon and Pumbaa.] *roars*
Timon and Pumbaa:[Timon and Pumbaa pull up short in terror.] *screams*
Timon:Like I said, [Timon and Pumbaa run away.] let's get going!
Pumbaa:*screams*
[Kiara, Kovu,,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,and Their parents struggle to get across the log pile]
Kovu:[Daniel Tiger trips over a loose log, but Kovu grabs him] I gotcha! [Kovu pulls him in safely as Kiara helps by pulling Kovu's tail]
Daniel Tiger: Thanks, Kovu.
Kovu: Don't mention it.
Kiara: [leans in front of Daniel Tiger Quick, get on! [Daniel Tiger hops on Kiara's back and they continue to cross.]
Vitani:[Vitani bounds up a tall rock and looks down on Nala.] Where's your pretty daughter, Nala?
Nala:[furiously] Vitani!
Nala and Vitani:[Vitani leaps down on Nala. The two roll, with Nala on top.] *snarls*
[Timon and Pumbaa flee from the Outsiders.]
Outsiders:*snarls*
Timon and Pumbaa:*pants* [Timon and Pumbaa smack into a rock wall. They turn to face the Outsiders, cornered.] *shrieks*
Outsiders:[The Outsiders surround Timon and Pumbaa.] *growls*
Timon and Pumbaa:Timon plasters himself against the rock wall, while Pumbaa turns his back on the Outsiders and crouches, hiding his head in his hooves.] *whimpers*
Timon:[Timon looks from left to right frantically.] *whimpers* [Timon notices Pumbaa's butt, which is stuck up in the air.]
Pumbaa:*whimpers*
Timon:[Timon grins.] *chuckles deviously* [Timon jumps onto Pumbaa's butt and cocks Pumbaa's tail like it's a gun. He levels it at the Outsiders.] Don't anybody move!
Outsiders:[from offscreen] *growls*
Timon:This thing's loaded. [Pumbaa looks over one shoulder at Timon.] I'll let ya have it!
Outsiders:*screams girlishly* [The Outsiders flee.]
Timon:[from offscreen] Yeah. Yeah! *cackles* Huh! [Timon spins Pumbaa's tail idly.] Talk about your winds of war.
Zira:*cackles*
Outsiders and Simba:[The Outsiders swarm Simba.] *roars*
Zira:[Zira stands atop her rock, flanked by two Outsiders.] Simba...
Outsiders:[Zira and the Outsiders leap from the rock and stride menacingly toward Simba.] *snarls*
Zira:You're mine!
Outsiders and Simba:[The Outsiders pile on Simba.] *snarls* [Simba breaks free and swipes at the Outsiders, clearing a space around him.] *roars*
Zira:[Zira approaches and strikes Simba to the ground.] *roars*
[Immediately, the Outsiders and Simba's pride halt their attacks. They watch the fight with concern.]
Lion:from offscreen] *roars*
Simba:[Simba gets to his paws and faces off against Zira.] *snarls*
Zira:[Zira stalks in a slow circle around Simba.] *pants*
Simba:[Simba watches Zira's every move.] *growls*
Zira:[Zira switches directions, but continues to circle Simba.] *pants*
[Simba and Zira circle one another. Around them, the Outsiders and Simba's pride gather in a tense circle.]
Zira:[Zira rears onto her hind legs, lifting a paw.] *roars*
Simba:[Simba rears onto his hind legs, lifting a paw.] *roars*
Daniel Tiger:[Things are about to get bloody, when suddenly] EVERYBODY STOP! [Both Simba, Zira and the two prides look and see sixteen figures leaping into the battlefield as lightning flashes in the sky. Two of the figures landed in between Simba and Zira and landed in a short distance away from them. It was Kiara, Kovu,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,and Their parents. Daniel Tiger jumped off Kiara's back.]
Simba:[shocked] Daniel Tiger? Kiara? [Kiara,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,and Their parents glares at Simba.]
Zira:[angrily] Kovu! [Kovu glares at Zira. He narrows his eyes.] Move.
Simba:All of you Stand aside.
Daniel Tiger:EnoughSimba.
Kiara: Daddy, this has to stop. [Simba blinks in shock.]
Mom Tiger: Daniel Tiger and your daughter right, you both have caused enough trouble.
Zira:You're even weaker than I thought. Get out of the way!
Kovu:[forcefully] You'll never hurt Kiara...or Daniel Tiger… or Simba[Kiara looks over one shoulder at Kovu. He lowers his head threateningly.] Not while I'm here.
Zira:*hisses*
Simba:[Simba juts his head at Kiara,Daniel Tiger, O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Prince Wednesday,Miss Elaina,Aj,and Their parents. Stay out of this!
Daniel Tiger: Simba you got to listen to what me and Kiara have to say Kiara you first.
Kiara:A wise king once told me, "We are one." I didn't understand him then. [Kiara smiles.] Now, I do.
Simba:But, [Simba looks at the Outsiders.] they–
KiaraThem? Us? [Kiara looks at the Outsiders.] Look at them. [Nala, who is standing at Simba's shoulder, looks at him questioningly. Simba looks at the Outsiders.] They are us. What differences
do you see?
Daniel Tiger:Simba My Mom Told me that lion and tiger are one it doesn't matter who side you on but are together as one.
[The Outsiders look at one another uncertainly. Vitani continues to glare at Simba's pride but, after a moment, lifts her head and widens her eyes. Kiara,Daniel Tiger and Simba exchange meaningful glances. Kiara, and Daniel Tiger smiles. Overhead, the clouds clear, and the sun shines down on the two prides. Simba looks up at the light. He smiles and embraces Kiara, and Daniel Tiger.]
Zira:Vitani, [Zira looks over one shoulder at Vitani.] now!
Vitani:No, Mother! [Vitani looks at Kiara, and Daniel Tiger, and Kiara who smiles at her over one shoulder. Vitani looks back at Zira.] Daniel Tiger who smiles at her over one shoulder. Vitani looks back at Zira.]Daniel Tiger and Kiara are right.[Vitani crosses the battlefield to stand beside Kovu.] Enough.
[The Outsiders exchange wondrous glances.]
Zira:If you will not fight, then you will die as well.
Outsiders:[The Outsiders scowl at one another.] *mutters disgustedly* [The Outsiders walk toward Simba's pride.]
Zira:[Zira looks right.] Wha– [Zira looks left.] What are– Where are you going? [The Outsiders join Simba's pride on the opposite side of the battlefield.] Get back here!
Simba:Let it go, Zira. It's time to put the past behind us.
Zira:I'll never let it go! [Simba looks up as logs shift in the gorge behind Zira.] This is for you, Scar! [Zira crouches.] *snarls* [Zira lunges at Simba.] Rah! *roars*
Kiara:[Kiara,and Daniel Tiger jumps in front of Simba, intercepting Zira.] *snarls* [Kiara,Daniel Tiger, and Zira roll on the ground.] *cries out*
Zira:[Kiara and Zira tumble into the gorge.] *snarls*
Simba: Daniel Tiger! Kiara! [Simba races to the edge of the gorge.]
Zira:[Kiara and Zira roll down the side of the gorge. They hit a ledge and break apart.] *grunts*
Kovu:[Kovu, Nala,Daniel Tiger's friend and family ,and the lionesses join Simba on the edge of the gorge, looking down worriedly.] Kiara!
Margaret Tiger:Brother!
[Kiara ,Daniel Tiger, and Zira free fall.]
Simba:[Simba jumps into the gorge. He clings to the ledge with his claws, then continues his descent.] Kiara!
Mom Tiger: Simba save our son.
Zira[Kiara ,Daniel Tiger, and Zira tumble down the side of the gorge.] *screams*
Kiara:[Kiara ,Daniel Tiger and Zira free fall.] *whimpers*
Zira:[Kiara,Daniel Tiger,and Zira tumble down the side of the gorge.]
Kiara:Guh! *whimpers* [but Kiara manages to save herself by clinging on a wall with her claws. Zira and Daniel Tigerare now clinging for their lives over the river below. Zira, who fell farther, clings to the side of the gorge. Daniel Tiger struggles to hold on for he doesn't have any claws to help him support. Kiara was also frantic about this danger.]
Nala: Nala,and Daniel Tiger's friends stand at the top of the gorge.] Hold on, Kiara!
Aj:Help on way, Daniel Tiger.
[Nala, and Daniel Tiger's friends [Nala looks up. The log dam breaks apart, and the river begins to flood into the gorge. Nala,Daniel Tiger's friends looks between the river,Daniel Tiger, and Kiara.]
Nala: Simba... [Simba leaps between pillars in the gorge. Nala ,and Daniel Tiger's friends stands above him at the top of the gorge.] Simba, the river! [Simba looks down at the river, then continues to climb toward Daniel Tiger,and KiaraThe river rages on as both Ash and Zira struggle to hold on]
Daniel Tiger: [his fingers start to get sore] Kiara, help me! [Kiara, who is standing above the ledge, reached her paw out for him]
Kiara: [grunts as she struggles to reach Daniel Tiger] Daniel Tiger, here! Take my paw! [Daniel Tigertries to reach]
Daniel Tiger: : I can't reach!
Kiara: Try harder! [Daniel Tiger to reach but Zira swipes her paw in front of Daniel Tiger scaring Tiger slips a little but quickly grabs on the ledge before he can fall even further]
[She decides to help Zira before she can save Daniel Tiger]
Zira:[Zira loses her grip on the wall and falls a bit farther. She catches on to the ledge with both paws.] *grunts*
Kiara:Zira, [Kiara stretches a paw down to Zira.] give me your paw!
Zira:[Zira slashes at Kiara's paw.] Gah! [Zira slips farther down the gorge, her claws leaving indentations in the rock.] Ah... *grunts*
Kiara:[Kiara continues to offer her paw.] Zira, come on!
Zira:[Zira continues to slide down the gorge, leaving more claw marks in the rock.] *grunts* [Zira looks over one shoulder at the river, clearly fearful.] *gasps*
Kiara:I'll help you.
Zira:[Zira slides farther down the gorge.] Oh... [Zira scrabbles uselessly at the rock wall.] *grunts* [Kiara, and Daniel Tiger watches in horror as Zira falls into the river.] *screams* [Zira's paw is seen bobbing above the waves before it is sucked under again.]
[The river calms.]
Kovu:[Kovu watches sorrowfully from above.] *sighs*
Kiara:[Kiara, Daniel Tiger watches the river. It flows calmly, with no sign of Zira. Kiara, Daniel Tiger stands.] *sighs*
Simba:[from offscreen] Daniel Tiger. Kiara.
Daniel Tiger: Simba.
Kiara:[Kiara ,and Daniel Tiger turns see Simba standing on a ledge above them. He offers them a paw.] Daddy... [Kiara, and Daniel Tiger takes Simba's paw.] We tried.
[Kiara, Daniel Tiger,and Simba climb to the top of the gorge.]
Nala:[Nala hugs Kiara. Simba puts a paw on Kiara's back.] Kiara.
Kiara:[Kiara nuzzles Nala.] Oh...
Simba:[Kiara, Simba, and Nala nuzzle.] *chuckles*
Pumbaa:[Kovu, Timon, Pumbaa,Daniel Tiger's friends and family,, and the lionesses approach.] Wow, that was really brave!
Timon: Yee-haw!
Mom and Dad Tiger: Daniel Tiger.[[they hugs Daniel Tiger]
Jodi Platypus:: Thank goodness you're OK!
Miss Elaina: That was a close one!
Lionesses[from offscreen] *chuckles* Oh...
Kiara:[Kovu and Kiara approach one another.] Kovu...
Kovu:[Kovu and Kiara nuzzle.] Oh, Kiara.
Simba:[Simba watches Kovu and Kiara curiously.] Kovu? [Kovu breaks his embrace with Kiara and walks toward Simba.] I was wrong. You belong here. [Kovu smiles. Kiara sidles up to Kovu, who nudges her affectionately.] Let's go home. [The Outsiders approach from behind Simba. He turns to face them.] All of us.
Daniel Tiger: Yeah let's all go home.
The scene transitions to Pride Rock at daybreak. Several lionesses stroll onto Pride Rock, where they gather with more lionesses who are waiting on the promontory. Simba, Nala,Daniel Tiger's friends and family and Rafiki sit at the head of the pride, with Kovu and Kiara nearby. Zazu, Timon, and Pumbaa sit on the fringes of the crowd. As the rest of the lionesses file into place, the ones who are waiting on the promontory sit up so that the pride forms a circle. Rafiki and Simba smile at one another. Rafiki beams at the sky, then shakes his gourds over Kovu and Kiara, who nuzzle. Simba smiles at the couple. Kiara smiles at Kovu before nuzzling him again. Nala nuzzles Simba, who looks briefly at her before beaming at Kovu and Kiara once more. Kovu and Kiara halt their embrace to smile at Simba. They then stride forward to sit next to Simba, Nala, and Rafiki.
Pumbaa:[tearfully] I love moments like this!
Timon:[Timon clasps his hands.] Yeah.
Timon and Pumbaa:Love! [Timon and Pumbaa point at each other.] Not like! [Timon and Pumbaa hug.] Love! *sobs* [Zazu holds up his wings to shield himself from Timon and Pumbaa's tears.]
Simba, Nala, Rafiki, Kovu, and Kiara smile at the pride. Simba and Nala stand and stride past the lionesses, who bow as they pass. Kovu,Daniel Tiger,his Sister,and Kiara follow. Simba and Nala reach the edge of the promontory, followed by Kovu,Daniel Tiger,his Sister,
Kiara.]
Simba:*roars*
Kovu:*roars*
Simba, Nala, Kovu, Daniel Tiger, Margaret Tiger,and Kiara:*roars*
Pride Landers:[A large crowd of Pride Landers are gathered below Pride Rock.] *cheers*
Simba's pride:*roars*
Simba, Nala, Kovu, and Kiara:*roars* [The couples nuzzle.]
Daniel Tiger and Margaret Tiger:*roars*[The Brother and Sister nuzzle]
Pride Landers:[The Pride Landers stamp the ground and wave their arms in approval.] *cheers*
[The couples, and The Brother and Sister continue to nuzzle. Simba, and Daniel Tiger looks to the heavens. The sun shines through the clouds.]
Mufasa:[from offscreen] Well done,Daniel Tiger and my son.

Chorus: Family. Oh! [Rafiki nods knowingly at the sky.] Family. We are one!
