I know, I know, short chapter. I'm sorry though. I'm not going to say that I'm busy with school as an excuse because I'm actually not. I was just being lazy. Speaking of school, it's ending in about 2 weeks, so I'll have a little bit of a weeks worth of a break after that until I have to go to Summer PE ;-;

I had originally planned on having Tad possess Quentin Trembley in this, lmao.

FYI, AOT stands for Agency of Telepathy.

Chapter 8 - Tragedy

"I bet you can't!"

"I bet I can!"

"Prove it then." Bill said, snickering.

"Fine! I'll do the Lamby Lamby dance. Right. In. Front. Of. You."

Just then, Mabel entered with two paper plates. "I made you my famous Peanut Butter & Whatever-Else-Is-In-The-Fridge sandwich for you, Dip."

"Thanks! Hey, wait…"

"Huh? Is there something on my shirt?"

"Actually, there is. And it's… kinda big."

She looked down to see a strange object stuck to her shirt. She gasped. "I think it's a snowglobe!" she exclaimed, holding it upside down in the air and shaking it.

"It's not."

"Then what is it?" Dipper inquired.

"It's a rift and it's dangerous."

Mabel immediately set it down on the table.

Bill continued his explanation. "I believe that it must've caught on your sweater while we passed through the parallel dimension. Sixer and his damn alien-adhesive."

"Alien adhesive?"

"Not important. You two should give it to Ford and tell him to keep it safe. He'll know how important it is."

Before they could however, a strange guy who looked almost identical to their great-uncle walked up to them. "Ey, is this where Stanford Pines lives?"

"Uh… yeah. Wait, could you take this with you and give it to him inside?"

"Sure, kiddo." he said, then walked into the house.

"That was weird."

Mabel gasped. "Dipdop, what if he's Ford's secret twin!"

"I highly doubt that." he said with a mouthful.

"You shouldn't." Bill responded with a smirk.

"Are you suggesting something?"

"You tell me."

"What in- Bill, why are you so aggravating?"

"You tell me."

"Are you just going to keep saying that all day?"

"You tell me."

Dipper let out a loud, frustrated groan as his sister started bursting out into laughter.

Inside the cabin…

"Ford?"

There was the ruffle of papers before the lab door opened and his brother walked out.

"S-Stanley… is that you?"

Then anger surged through him. "Yes, it's me you asshole! Your brother who you haven't spoken a word to since you left me! It's been over 32 years, dammit, and all you ask is if this is really me?! Yes, this is what you've done to me! I've been banned in all 50 states, Ford, and I've been having to hide from the authorities in Mexico!" he yelled, shoving him.

"I- I'm sorry… I was going to call you but I was too busy with my resear-"

"Too busy with your research?! Your only happy when your head is filled with some stupid dope!"

The rift toppled out of his hands and it fell to the ground, shattering to pieces.

"Oh my god… A rift… Tad is going to- Fuck! Stanley, get down!" Ford shouted.

A blueish-purplish laser-beam shot out of the rift and up into the sky, causing the roof to collapse along the way.

"Oh no… What have I done?"

"Who wants a lamby, lamby, lamby! I do! I do! So-"

Suddenly they heard yelling coming from inside.

"-rother who you haven't spoken a word to since-"

"Uh, Dipper, maybe we should go check on them and see if they're okay…"

They were about to walk in when there was the sound of glass shattering and a shout of "Get down!"

Randomly, it seemed, a huge criss-cross appeared in the sky, which was now dyed red instead of blue, and a demonic human who looked similar to Bill, but with purple hair floated in the air as he looked over the town with a maniacal grin.

Dipper shuddered. "B- Bill, who the hell is that?"

"That's Tad Strange."

Both twins turned to him with wide eyes. "What?!"

Before they had time to say anything else, Tad's eye landed on the trio and he frowned. There was an invisible pull that came out of nowhere, tugging harshly on the demon.

"Bill!"

"Don't worry about me! Find Gideon and the rest of AOT!"

"But-"

"I. Said. Find. Gideon." Bill said, glaring at them.

Those were the last words the twins heard from him before he was no longer able to resist Tad and he flew through the air until he was where his arch-nemesis wanted him.

"What do you want, Tad?!" Bill yelled at him, giving a long, drawn-out sigh.

"Oh, you know; payback. You always said that pain was hilarious, hm? Well, how do you like this?!" he yelled before throwing his fist right into his face, his claws grasping his eye and ripping it out.

Blood leaked out of the empty eye socket, spilling down his face. Bill ripped the eyepatch on his right eye off so he could see, anger clearly on his face.

"yOuR gOiNg To PaY fOr ThAt, TaDDiE."

Tad only smiled sadistically. "You can think that all you want, but you still haven't paid your debt to me for your betrayal. Because now… I'm in control."
